Bridging the Gap to Common Prosperity:Rural Development and Urban-Rural Income Disparities in Zhejiang Province,China

The Chinese government’s common prosperity policy has inspired a series of rural development initiatives aimed at reducing income disparities between urban and rural areas.Zhejiang Province was designated as the first demonstration zone in China’s pursuit of common prosperity.To explore the demonstration effect of rural development on narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas,this study adopts the Theil index to measure urban-rural income disparity levels and explores spatial evolution patterns of the income disparity in 52 counties of Zhejiang Province,China from 2011 to 2020.The spatial Durbin model is also used to investigate the impact of rural development on the urban-rural income disparity.The results show that:1)Urban-rural income disparities have gradually narrowed.Moreover,income disparities across the province are spatially clustered from north to south.Narrowing the gap between mountainous and non-mountainous counties is imperative for resolving these spatial imbalances in the short term.2)Rural development reduces urban-rural income disparity levels and generates economic and technological spillover effects,as evidenced by the phenomenon where development in one county leads to reduced income disparities in neighboring counties.3)The technological innovation enhances the co-development of rural industries through technological diffusion effects,further strengthening rural development.Finally,enhancing the ecological environment synergizes with rural development to reduce urban-rural income disparities.The research results provide policy implications for narrowing the urban-rural income disparity and promoting common prosperity. 展开更多

Aiming at the problems of lagging curriculum,weak practice,and single evaluation in the cultivation of HarmonyOS Development talents,this study constructs a“teacher-machine-student”ternary interactive teaching model based on the Congyou platform.Through the building block curriculum system,the HarmonyOS technology stack is decoupled into dynamic capability units,and a multi-disciplinary cross-case library is jointly built with Huawei,which significantly improves the synchronization of teaching content and industrial technology.This paper innovatively designs an AI collaborative teaching system,which employs knowledge graphs to plan learning paths,utilizes virtual equipment clusters to simulate development environments,and establishes a“diagnosis-feedback-enhancement”closed loop through AI-based review,thereby effectively improving students’development efficiency and code reuse rate.A three-dimensional evaluation model integrating task outcomes,process performance,and innovation is constructed,incorporating indicators such as code standardization and an innovation index to strengthen the cultivation of engineering thinking and innovative ability.Furthermore,a data-driven support platform is built to generate student competency profiles,open up the“credit-competency-certification”pathway,promote the transformation of course achievements into contributions to the Huawei ecosystem,and significantly shorten the job adaptation cycle for graduates.The research results provide a replicable paradigm for the cultivation of domestic operating system talents. 展开更多

However, the development process often faces threats such as injection attacks, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), mainly due to code vulnerabilities, configuration errors, and risks from third-party components. To meet these challenges, this paper discusses the application of security technology in development and operation, emphasizing security requirements analysis, design principles, coding practices, and testing during the development phase. Along with focusing on environmental configuration, continuous monitoring, emergency response, disaster recovery, and regular auditing and updating during the operation phase. Software-related security aspects are a growing and legitimate concern,especially with 5G data available just at our palms.To conduct research in this field,periodic comparative analysis is needed with the new techniques coming up rapidly.The purpose of this study is to review the recent developments in the field of security integration in the software development lifecycle(SDLC)by analyzing the articles published in the last two decades and to propose a way forward.This review follows Kitchenham’s review protocol.The review has been divided into three main stages including planning,execution,and analysis.From the selected 100 articles,it becomes evident that need of a collaborative approach is necessary for addressing critical software security risks(CSSRs)through effective risk management/estimation techniques.Quantifying risks using a numeric scale enables a comprehensive understanding of their severity,facilitating focused resource allocation and mitigation efforts.Through a comprehensive understanding of potential vulnerabilities and proactive mitigation efforts facilitated by protection poker,organizations can prioritize resources effectively to ensure the successful outcome of projects and initiatives in today’s dynamic threat landscape.The review reveals that threat analysis and security testing are needed to develop automated tools for the future.Accurate estimation of effort required to prioritize potential security risks is a big challenge in software security.The accuracy of effort estimation can be further improved by exploring new techniques,particularly those involving deep learning.It is also imperative to validate these effort estimation methods to ensure all potential security threats are addressed.Another challenge is selecting the right model for each specific security threat.To achieve a comprehensive evaluation,researchers should use well-known benchmark checklists. 展开更多

Reusing business process models and best practices can improve the productivity, quality and agility in the early development phases of enterprise software systems. To help developers reuse the business process models and best practices, we propose a methodology and an integrated environment for business process modeling driven by the metamodel. Furthermore, we propose a process-template design method to unify the granularity and separate the commonality and variability of business processes so that business process models can be reused across different enterprise software systems. The proposed methodology enables to create reuse-oriented business process templates before the business process modeling. To support the proposed methodology, we developed an integrated environment for creating, reusing and verifying the business process models. As the key techniques, we describe the methodology and its integrated environment, including a metamodel and notations. We applied the methodology and integrated environment to an actual enterprise software development project, and evaluated that the productivity of business process modeling is improved by at least 46%. As the conclusion, this paper contributes to prove the effectiveness of the meta-model driven business process modeling methodology for the reuse of business process models. 展开更多

Although recent studies have examined collaboration within open-source software projects,the focus has primarily been on their motivations and governance.This study explores the complex dynamics of trust and involvement among Cameroonian software developers in open-source projects.In the context of a rapidly evolving software development landscape,these projects have emerged as a transformative force,redefining global collaboration standards.The qualitative methodological approach involved a survey of 22 participants in open-source software projects,including Cameroonian software developers,project governance actors,and open-source community members.Analyses revealed that the trust given to African software developers,including their effective integration into projects and consideration of their specificities and contributions,has a positive impact on their involvement in and ability to appropriate information technologies.By exploring the interaction between cultural,social,and technological factors,this study enhances our understanding of trust mechanisms within open-source communities,especially those involving remote developers. 展开更多

In this paper, we put forward two key concepts -- intelligent development environment (IntelliDE) and software knowledge graph -- for the first time. IntelliDE is an ecosystem in which software big data are aggregated, mined and analyzed to provide intelligent assistance in the life cycle of software development. We present its architecture and discuss its key research issues and challenges. Software knowledge graph is a software knowledge representation and management framework, which plays an important role in IntelliDE.
