This study explores the phenomenon of“despair”in South Korea through a situational analysis of media reports.Despite economic growth,South Korea faces severe social issues including one of the world’s lowest birth ...This study explores the phenomenon of“despair”in South Korea through a situational analysis of media reports.Despite economic growth,South Korea faces severe social issues including one of the world’s lowest birth rates,highest suicide rates,and significant wealth inequality.Drawing parallels to the“deaths of despair”observed in the United States,this research investigates how socio-cultural factors contribute to widespread despair in South Korea.Using Big Kinds,a Korean news big data system,the study analyzes 1,091 despair-related news articles from 2009 to 2024.Through situational,relational,and positional mapping,the research identifies key themes such as unemployment,non-regular employment,and suicide as major contributors to despair.The findings reveal that despair in South Korea is deeply intertwined with structural issues like meritocracy,inequality,and the lack of social safety nets.The study concludes that addressing despair requires comprehensive policies to foster hope,ensure job stability,and strengthen social support systems,alongside addressing individual psychological factors.展开更多
In recent years,renewable energy has taken on an increasingly important role as a result of the depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the pressure of climate change.Due to the advantages of clean energy production...In recent years,renewable energy has taken on an increasingly important role as a result of the depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the pressure of climate change.Due to the advantages of clean energy production and wide availability,research on renewable energy has increased worldwide.We collected data from the Web of Science and the Derwent Innovations Index to analyze research trends in the field of renewable energy.It was found that the number of research achievements in this field has developed rapidly worldwide since 2005.The United States ranks first in the quantity and quality of literature and fourth in the number of authorized patents.China ranks second and first regarding the quantity of literature and authorized patents,respectively.Biomass energy,wind energy,and solar energy are trending research topics in various stages of development.China has maintained close cooperation with the United States,the United Kingdom,Australia,and other countries.展开更多

The resu...Conventional information of Micaps, NCEP reanalysis data, and data from regional automatic weather stations were used to analyze the causes of rainstorm in southern mountains of Zhongwei City on July 21,2012. The results showed that the favorable circulation situation ＂ high in east and low in west＂ to rainfall in Nlngxia formed at 500 hPa before the precipitation appeared, and the heavy rainfall generated when cold air over Lake Baikal moved eastward and joined with warm and wet airflow on the northwest side of 584 line in Hetao region. Ground frontal surface and shear lines at 700 and 500 hPa were main influencing systems of heavy rainfall. Positive vorticity area at low levels, water vapor convergence, as- cending motion and stratification instability provided thermal, dynamic and energy conditions for the formation of the rainstorm. The rainstorm area was situated in wind direction convergence zone where southwest airflow changed into easterly airflow at 700 hPa. Sounding data show that temper- ature and humidity were high in the lower atmosphere which was nearly saturated, and atmospheric convection was unstable before the rainstorm appeared. After the rainstorm occurred, energy in the atmosphere released rapidly, and each index reduced fast, so that the precipitation ended.展开更多

Methods: 663 active nurses in Tibet were taken as...Objective: To investigate and analyze the current status of continuing nursing education (CNE) of in-service nurses in Tibet and their demand for continuing education. Methods: 663 active nurses in Tibet were taken as the research objects, and the self-developed questionnaire was used to investigate the current status and needs of CNE, and the correlation between the CNE needs of active nurses and their personal conditions was analyzed. Results: This study shows that 65.61% (435/663) of active nurses have not participated in any CNE, and 91.86% (609/663) of active nurses believe that they need to participate in CNE. The problems faced by active nurses in participating in CNE include funding restrictions, time limitation and ability limitation. Logistic stepwise regression analysis reveals that the age of active nurses and working years of nurses are negatively correlated with the funding restrictions for participating in CNE (P < 0.05). It is relatively more difficult for young nurses with less working experience to obtain funding for participating in CNE. Moreover, there is a negative correlation between age, educational level and the ability of nurses to participate in CNE (P < 0.05). Younger nurses with lower educational level are more difficult to participate in CNE due to personal ability. There is a positive correlation between the length of working experience and the time limitation faced to participate in CNE (P < 0.05). Senior nurses are too busy with their work to participate in CNE due to limited time. Conclusion: The problems faced by active nurses in Tibet in participating in CNE come from funding, time and ability. Young nurses with limited working experience cannot participate in CNE resulting from limited ability and funds;while senior nurses are mainly restricted by time. It is recommended that hospitals and nursing management in Tibet should solve these problems faced by nurses in participating in CNE by implementing a flexible scheduling system, and providing funding or implementing an incentive system, to enhance the confidence of active nurses in participating in CNE.展开更多

文摘With the accelerating pace of population aging in China,various issues related to elderly care have emerged one after another,becoming a severe social problem.Especially against the backdrop of increasing economic pressure,the traditional family-based elderly care model is facing significant challenges and can hardly meet the elderly care needs.At present,the geriatric nursing models are relatively backward,which directly affects the quality of daily life,physical health and mental well-being of the elderly.Therefore,it is necessary to explore an appropriate geriatric nursing model to address the aging problem.Based on this,this paper analyzes and studies the current situation of geriatric nursing models under the background of healthy aging,providing references for relevant research and practice.
