Ice loads on a ship hull affect the safety of the hull structure and the ship maneuvering performance in ice-covered regions. A discrete element method (DEM) is used to simulate the interaction between drifting ice floes and a moving ship. The pancake ice floes are modelled with three-dimensional (3-D) dilated disk elements considering the buoyancy, drag force and additional mass induced by the current. The ship hull is modelled with 3D disks with overlaps. Ice loads on the ship hull are determined through the contact detection between ice floe element and ship hull element and the contact force calculation. The influences of different ice conditions (current velocities and directions, ice thicknesses, concentrations and ice floe sizes) and ship speeds are also examined on the dynamic ice force. The simulated results are compared qualitatively well with the existing field data and other numerical results. This work can be helpful in the shil3 structure design and the navigation securitv in ice-covered fields. 展开更多

A frequency domain analysis method based on the three-dimensional translating-pulsating (3DTP) source Green function is developed to investigate wave loads and free motions of two ships advancing on parallel course in waves. Two experiments are carried out respectively to mea- sure the wave loads and the free motions for a pair of side-by- side arranged ship models advancing with an identical speed in head regular waves. For comparison, each model is also tested alone. Predictions obtained by the present solution are found in favorable agreement with the model tests and are more accurate than the traditional method based on the three dimensional pulsating (3DP) source Green function. Numer- ical resonances and peak shift can be found in the 3DP pre- dictions, which result from the wave energy trapped in the gap between two ships and the extremely inhomogeneous wave load distribution on each hull. However, they can be eliminated by 3DTP, in which the speed affects the free sur- face and most of the wave energy can be escaped from the gap. Both the experiment and the present prediction show that hydrodynamic interaction effects on wave loads and free motions are significant. The present solver may serve as a validated tool to predict wave loads and motions of two ves- sels under replenishment at sea, and may help to evaluate the hydrodynamic interaction effects on the ships safety in replenishment operation. 展开更多

The added mass matrix is calculated with finite element method (FEM) by 8-node acoustic fluid elements. The vibration characteristics of the structure in the finite fluid domain are calculated combining structure FEM mass matrix. By writing relevant programs, the numerical analysis on vibration characteristics of a submerged cantilever rectangular plate in finite fluid domain and loaded ship model is performed. A modal identification experiment for the loaded ship model in air and in water is conducted and the experiment results verify the reliability of the numerical analysis. The numerical method can be used for further research on vibration characteristics and acoustic radiation problems of the structure in the finite fluid domain. 展开更多

This procedure claculates the stress at the sliding surface by the finite element method (FEM) and takes the dynamic properties of clay into account. With this procedure, the stability of a Bohai oil-drilling ship is analyzed. This is one of the important reasons for overturn of ro-ro ships. The multibody system with a floating base is composed of ro-ro ship and slipping vehicles. Takes the rolling angle of the ship and the transverse displacements of the slipping vehicles on desk as freedoms. Making use of the analysis of apparent gravitation and apparent buoyancy, the wave rolling moment is derived. By means of dynamic method of multibody system, dynamic equations of the system are established. Taking a certain channel ferry as an example, a set of numerical calculation have been carried out for rolling response of the multibody system with a floating base of a ro-ro ship and displacements response of the slipping vehicles under common effect of free slipping vehicles and wave, and a conclusion has been drawn that the motion of the numerous free slipping heavy loads will trend to be synchronous under restraining of the side-wall bulkhead with time because of repeated collision. 展开更多

Based on the data of pitting corrosion recorded,the concept of pitting corrosion characteristic element matrix was proposed to describe the distribution and the forms of pitting. Moreover,the model of sensitivity calculation was established to analyse the sensitivity of pitting corrosion characteristic elements for the ultimate bearing capacity of ship structural plate. A new approach was proposed to calculate the ultimate strength of pitting damaged ship structural plate under combined loads based on the factor of rigidity reduction. Simultaneously this new approach was proven to be validated by finite element simulation. Finally,formula of ultimate strength of pitting damaged ship hull plate was established by series of numerical calculations based on the approach,and the reliability of the formula was validated as well. 展开更多

脉冲负载的周期性暂态特性会对船舶综合电力系统造成持续的冲击效应,从而导致柴油发电机组在特定频段下振荡失稳甚至脱网停机。针对该问题,本文首先通过状态平均法建立了脉冲负载与其供电电路的整体动态数学模型,确定了脉冲负载对于系... 脉冲负载的周期性暂态特性会对船舶综合电力系统造成持续的冲击效应,从而导致柴油发电机组在特定频段下振荡失稳甚至脱网停机。针对该问题,本文首先通过状态平均法建立了脉冲负载与其供电电路的整体动态数学模型,确定了脉冲负载对于系统的关键影响因素。其次,建立了脉冲负载扰动下系统整体的传递函数,确定了脉冲负载连续冲击造成柴油发电机组失稳的振荡功率频率区间。针对不同工况下,脉冲负载电流对系统冲击特性的差异,采用改进快速傅里叶变换对脉冲负载电流的频率和幅值进行辨识。最后,设计了一种附加双馈飞轮储能系统的船舶综合电力系统冲击平抑架构,并依据脉冲负载电流与交流侧电流的传递函数,提出了一种基于改进快速傅里叶变换辨识结果的储能补偿策略。利用RT Box 3半实物仿真平台,搭建载有脉冲负载的船舶综合电力系统模型,验证了所提控制策略的有效性。 展开更多

考虑航行速度的船舶电力系统负荷优化分配

船舶综合电力系统含有多类异构发电单元,在航行速度波动下易引发功率振荡、频率崩溃及能效退化问题,使得船舶电力系统低频减载综合切负荷量难以评估,缺乏应对航行速度波动下负荷变化的能力,导致船舶电力系统能效较高。为此,提出考虑航... 船舶综合电力系统含有多类异构发电单元,在航行速度波动下易引发功率振荡、频率崩溃及能效退化问题,使得船舶电力系统低频减载综合切负荷量难以评估,缺乏应对航行速度波动下负荷变化的能力,导致船舶电力系统能效较高。为此,提出考虑航行速度的船舶电力系统负荷优化分配方法。利用层次分析法,考虑航速影响动态评估负荷重要性,计算船舶电力系统低频减载过程中的负荷切除因子,量化切负荷代价。考虑航行速度,通过航段离散与积分方法,计算船舶能效指数。以最小化低频减载综合切负荷量与船舶能效指数为目标函数,以机组出力、功率平衡及航速为约束,实现对发电机组功率与负荷切除量的协同优化分配。实验证明:所提方法在30%功率缺额下可将系统最大低频减载代价从350 W降至200 W,EEXI从34降至20,显著增强了系统的鲁棒性与运行经济性。 展开更多

针对暴雨载荷下船舶外部结构声学特性问题,以天幕、露天甲板和舷窗玻璃为研究对象,通过实验模拟暴雨的产生,在不同雨量且测试结构与水平面夹角分别呈0°、15°、30°的各工况下进行声学测试,采用声压法获取这3种外部结构在... 针对暴雨载荷下船舶外部结构声学特性问题,以天幕、露天甲板和舷窗玻璃为研究对象,通过实验模拟暴雨的产生,在不同雨量且测试结构与水平面夹角分别呈0°、15°、30°的各工况下进行声学测试,采用声压法获取这3种外部结构在不同雨量下的噪声信息,并开展频谱分析以及特征对比。结果表明,各工况辐射噪声量级主要集中在低中频段,3种外部结构受激平均声压级随雨量的增大而增高,随倾斜角的增大而降低,且相对于雨量的增大,倾斜角度对各结构的声振强度影响更大。相同条件下,天幕的平均声压级>舷窗玻璃的平均声压级>露天甲板的平均声压级。所得结论对远洋客船的自主设计研发和噪声控制具有一定的指导意义。 展开更多

在复杂海洋环境中,船舶能源管理系统对既能提供高精度又能实时响应的预测模型的需求越来越大。与传统预测方法相比,由于强大的学习能力和泛化能力,人工神经网络算法在处理船舶电力负荷预测等非线性数据方面具有潜在优势,但每种神经网络... 在复杂海洋环境中,船舶能源管理系统对既能提供高精度又能实时响应的预测模型的需求越来越大。与传统预测方法相比,由于强大的学习能力和泛化能力,人工神经网络算法在处理船舶电力负荷预测等非线性数据方面具有潜在优势,但每种神经网络智能算法都有其独特的优势、局限性和应用合理性。采用RBF、BP、Elman和LSTM这4种类型的智能方法来预测船舶在恶劣海况下的短期电力负荷。实验结果表明,RBF网络预测模型的平均相对误差、均方根误差等评价指标优于其他神经网络,RBF神经网络在收敛速度、预测精度和泛化能力方面表现最优,是预测船舶电力负荷的有效工具,为船舶电力系统的实时优化调度和能效管理提供了参考。 展开更多

船舶短期电力负荷预测面临负荷序列非线性强、多波动、易受航行工况与环境因素耦合干扰等难题。BP神经网络强大的非线性拟合能力与自适应学习机制,可从复杂的时序负荷数据中自动提取特征,有效逼近和预测此类动态多变的负荷曲线。因此,... 船舶短期电力负荷预测面临负荷序列非线性强、多波动、易受航行工况与环境因素耦合干扰等难题。BP神经网络强大的非线性拟合能力与自适应学习机制,可从复杂的时序负荷数据中自动提取特征,有效逼近和预测此类动态多变的负荷曲线。因此,研究基于BP神经网络的船舶短期电力负荷预测方法。通过拉格朗日插值法对原始船舶多源时序数据进行缺失数据填补,运用改进F-score特征选择算法由填补后多源时序数据中筛选出最优特征子集,以此为输入构建三层结构的BP神经网络模型,得到船舶短期电力负荷预测结果。结果表明,该方法的缺失数据插值填补与最优特征子集筛选效果均较为显著,以此为基础,对海上航行与靠泊装卸两种船舶工况下的24h电力负荷预测误差始终低于0.03,且在负荷波动较大处仍保持较高预测精度,预测性能稳定可靠。 展开更多

This paper reviews the extensive work done on ice loads on ships, including: (a) Ice pressure and local load determination based on field and model tests; (b) Global ice loads on ships from full-scale field observations, model tests and numerical models under different ice conditions (level ice and pack ice) and ship operations (maneuvering and mooring). Spe- cial attention is paid to the discrete element simulation of global ice loads on ships; and (c) Analytical solutions and numerical models of impact loads of icebergs on ships for polar navigation. Conducting model experiments is an effective and reliable way in the investigation of ship hydrodynamic and hydroelastic behaviors. A survey of model testing techniques for ship hydroelasticity and its prospect are presented in this paper. The research highlights with respect to ship hydroelasticity and key points in model testing are summarized at first. Then testing techniques including laboratory tank test and full-scale sea trial are reviewed, and both their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed comprehensively. Based on the conventional testing approaches, a state-of-the-art testing approach which includes performing tests using large-scale model at sea is proposed. Furthermore, recommendations towards the further development of ship hydroelasticity tests are forecasted and discussed. 展开更多

In this paper, a guide to understanding the effect of the ground reaction (R), determines the amount of ground pressure and its location. With consideration of the seabed form whether symmetric of asymmetric. 受海洋经济繁荣、船舶大型化趋势等因素影响,泊位能力提升成为诸多码头的选择.为有效了解码头潜力,针对当前保有量较大的高桩码头,综合考虑船舶-结构-土体的相互作用,采用ANSYS/LS-DYNA大型有限元软件建立仿真数值模型.引入JHC模型和线... 受海洋经济繁荣、船舶大型化趋势等因素影响,泊位能力提升成为诸多码头的选择.为有效了解码头潜力,针对当前保有量较大的高桩码头,综合考虑船舶-结构-土体的相互作用,采用ANSYS/LS-DYNA大型有限元软件建立仿真数值模型.引入JHC模型和线性强化模型来描述码头与船体在不同船舶荷载作用下的非线性变形及破坏情况,设计15种不同船舶质量和撞击速度的组合工况,展开超限撞击下撞击力、码头结构应力和码头损伤评价等方面的研究.研究表明,撞击力峰值与船舶质量和撞击速度密切相关,其中撞击速度的影响更显著;倾向码头方向的斜桩是水平荷载的主要受力构件,提升码头结构强度应重点考虑此类构件的加固设计;桩基设计应考虑间距布设,以减少群桩效应引起的承载力问题;提出结构损伤比,结合15种组合工况获得结构损伤评价的拟合公式. 展开更多
