The increase in capacity of displacement piles with time after installation is typically known as soil/pile set-up. A full-scale field test is carried out to observe the set-up effect for open-ended concrete pipe piles jacked into mixed soils. Both the total capacity and the average unit shaft resistance increase approximately linearly with logarithmic time. The average increase rate for unit shaft resistance is 44% per log cycle, while the average increase for total capacity is approximately 21%. A review on case histories for long-term set-up indicates an average set-up rate of approximately 40%. Based on this, the mechanism of pile set-up is discussed in detail and a three-phase model is suggested. 展开更多

Based on the time dependent mild slope equation including the effect of wave energy dissipation, an expression for the energy dissipation factor is derived in conjunction with the wave energy balance equation, and then a practical method for the simulation of wave height and wave set- up in nearshore regions is presented. The variation of the complex wave amplitude is numerically simulated by use of the parabolic mild slope equation including the effect of wave energy dissipation due to wave breaking. The components of wave radiation stress are calculated subsequently by new expressions for them according to the obtained complex wave amplitude, and then the depth-averaged equation is applied to the calculation of wave set-up due to wave breaking. Numerical results are in good agreement with experimental data, showing that the expression for the energy dissipation factor is reasonable and that the new method is effective for the simulation of wave set-up due to wave breaking in nearshore regions. 展开更多

In this study, we investigated wave transformation and wave set-up between a submerged permeable breakwater and a seawall. Modified time-dependent mild-slope equations, which involve parameters of the porous medium, were used to calculate the wave height transformation and the mean water level change around a submerged breakwater. The numerical solution is verified with experimental data. The simulated results show that modulations of the wave profile and wave set-up are clearly observed between the submerged breakwater and the seawall. In contrast to cases without a seawall, the node or pseudo-node of wave height evolution can be found between the submerged breakwater and the seawall. Higher wave set-up occurs if the nodal or pseudo-nodal point appears near the submerged breakwater. We also examined the influence of the porosity and friction factor of the submerged permeable breakwater on wave transformation and set-up. 展开更多

According to the present investigation, using a group of optimal parameters, an experiment replicating complex shape workpiece was made. From the photograph of the machined jobs, it can be seen that it has clear contour and smooth end surface. This paper proposes an equation to calculate breaking wave induced wave set-up and set-down along reef flat. The mathematical equation was derived based on the theory of radiation stress and the conservation of wave energy. The equation is primarily determined by several physical variables including the breaking wave index, the stable wave index, the attenuation coefficient of wave energy flux, and the flow velocity in the re-stabilization zone. A series of laboratory experiments were carried out to calibrate the theoretical equations. Specifically, the breaking wave index,the stable wave index, and the velocity over the reef flat were measured in the laboratory. The attenuation coefficient of wave energy flux in our theoretical equation was determined by calibration by comparing with the laboratory measured wave height. Furthermore, it has been put forward that the velocity based on cnoidal wave theory could be used to determine the velocity over the reef flat if there is no velocity measurement available. Overall, the proposed equation can provide satisfactory prediction of wave set-up and set-down along the reef flat. 展开更多

We study the scheduling on an unbounded parallel-batch machine with jobs having set-up times to minimize a regular objective function which is either of the sumform or of the max-form.As we know,in the existing literature,the research about parallel-batch scheduling does not consider the set-up times of jobs.However,the set-up times of jobs are widely presented in practical applications.Each job considered in this paper has a set-up time.The set-up time of each batch is equal to the maximum set-up time of all jobs contained in the batch,and the processing time of each batch is equal to the longest processing time of the jobs contained in the batch.Depending on the different definitions of the completion time of a job,we consider two types of jobs:batch jobs and drop-line jobs.For batch jobs,the completion time of a job is given by the completion time of the batch containing this job.For drop-line jobs,the completion time of a job is given by the starting time of the batch containing this job plus the processing time of this job.In this paper,we give pseudo-polynomial time algorithms for the above scheduling problems in which the jobs have agreeable processing times and set-up times.In addition,when the objective functions are the total weighted completion time,the maximum lateness,and the maximum cost,we present a polynomial time algorithm,respectively. 展开更多

An Evaluation of Inter-Fractional Set-Up Errors in Patients Treated with Distinct Immobilization Equipment for Varying Anatomical Regions

This study aims to evaluate inter-fractional set-up errors in patients treated with distinct immobilization equipment (thermoplastic mask, knee-fix and feet-fix, wing board and vac-lok) for four anatomical regions including brain, head and neck (HN), thorax and pelvis. Data of randomly selected 140 patients who were treated for four anatomical regions were obtained using Hi-Art Helical Tomotherapy (HT) system. Pre-treatment planning was based on automatic registration readings of computed tomography (CT) and mega-voltage computed tomography (MVCT) on a daily basis. Distinct immobilization equipment was used for varying anatomical regions. Individual mean set-up error (M), systematic error (Σ), and random error (σ) values were calculated through daily translational and rotational deviation values. The size of translational, systematic and random error was 1.31 - 4.93 mm for brain, 2.28 - 4.88 mm for HN, 4.04 - 9.90 mm for thorax, and 6.34 - 14.68 mm for pelvis. Rotational values were as follows: 0.06&deg - 0.73&deg for brain, 0.42&deg - 0.6&deg for HN, 0.48&deg - 1.14&deg for thorax and 0.65&deg - 1.05&deg for pelvis. The highest translational, systematic and random error value was obtained from the pelvic regional. The highest standard and random error value in pitch and roll was produced in the rotational direction of the pelvis (0.05° and 0.71°), while the highest error value in yaw was (1.14°) produced from thorax. Inter-fractional set-up errors were most commonly produced in the pelvis, followed by thorax. Our study results suggest that the highest systematic and random errors are found for thorax and pelvis. Distinct immobilization equipment was important in these results. Safety margins around the clinical target volume (CTV) are changeable for different anatomical regions. A future work could be developed to new equipment for immobilization because of the reduced margins CTV. 展开更多

Accurate reproduction of the physiological pulsatile flow waveform in the abdominal aorta at various anatomic locations is an important component of these experimental methods. The objective of this study is to establish an experimental set-up to generate a physiological pulsatile flow for in vitro simulations of the abdominal aorta. The physiological flow was established by a computer-controlled peristaltic pump and the flow field in a circular straight pipe is measured under pulsatile flow conditions by a 2-dimensional particle image velocimetry system (2D-PIV). Experimental results show that the in vitro experimental set-up provides a flow with a period of 2 s, a reasonable cross-sectional velocity distribution and an approximate inlet velocity profile that is close to the human abdominal aorta. 展开更多

石墨烯发热片不同加温方式对玻璃温室樱桃番茄生长结果的影响

以爱索301串收型樱桃番茄为试材,采用悬挂、铺设等6种不同组合加温方式,以不加温为对照,研究了石墨烯聚合纳米能量发热片不同加温方式对玻璃温室无土栽培樱桃番茄生长结果的影响。结果表明,石墨烯发热片加温对番茄植株生长、开花结实和... 以爱索301串收型樱桃番茄为试材,采用悬挂、铺设等6种不同组合加温方式,以不加温为对照,研究了石墨烯聚合纳米能量发热片不同加温方式对玻璃温室无土栽培樱桃番茄生长结果的影响。结果表明,石墨烯发热片加温对番茄植株生长、开花结实和果实产量、品质存在一定的促进作用,安装石墨烯发热片后番茄株高(总株高236.21~260.73 cm)、单株坐果串数(9.41~9.90串)和单果质量(10.02~11.30 g)均有了明显的增长,对单株总质量(734.13~871.47g)提高有显著效果。其中,T1组合悬挂2条的处理在总叶片数、总坐果数、开花串数、坐果串数方面表现较好,但用电量最大(9963.36kW·h),成本(10606.68元)也最高;而石墨烯发热片铺设在椰糠条下(T6)的加温方式耗电最低,且与对照相比对产量提高有显著效果,单果质量提高13.23%,单株总质量提高18.73%,表现出了果实成熟速度快、增产效果好、5~8年的使用寿命长且用电成本低(489.14元)的优势,性价比高,大大节约能源。综上所述,发热片铺设在椰糠条下适合作为樱桃番茄温室无土栽培的石墨烯加温方式推广与应用。 展开更多

目的比较医用直线加速器的数字化标注与传统真空垫上画线标注两种定位方式在体部真空垫固定放疗摆位误差上的差异,并评估其对治疗精度的影响。方法选择行调强放射治疗的20例真空垫固定患者,其中男性8例,女性12例;年龄41~72岁,中位年龄57... 目的比较医用直线加速器的数字化标注与传统真空垫上画线标注两种定位方式在体部真空垫固定放疗摆位误差上的差异,并评估其对治疗精度的影响。方法选择行调强放射治疗的20例真空垫固定患者,其中男性8例,女性12例;年龄41~72岁,中位年龄57岁;乳腺癌8例,肺癌5例,直肠癌4例,宫颈癌3例。对患者制作完真空垫后,在加速器治疗床上将患者摆到适当位置后,在激光灯下于身体上画上标记线,每例患者均进行两组标记。第一组是记录摆位完毕后床值进行数字化标注(数字化标注组),第二组是在第一组标记完后继续在激光灯标记下将患者身体上的标记线延长至真空垫上进行画线标记(真空垫画线标记组)。在后期放射治疗中分别以两种标注摆位后分别进行扇形束CT(FBCT)扫描,将获取的FBCT图像与计划CT图像进行匹配,得到两组摆位在左右方向(X方向)、头脚方向(Y方向)、前后方向(Z方向)上误差差值,对差值进行对比分析并探讨其原因。结果数字化标注组摆位误差为X方向(1.2±0.8)mm,Y方向(2.1±1.1)mm,Z方向(1.0±0.8)mm;真空垫画线标记组摆位误差为X方向(2.7±1.4)mm,Y方向(4.3±3.2)mm,Z方向(4.0±1.5)mm;两组摆位误差在X、Y、Z方向上差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。真空垫画线标记组偏移数值在3mm以上的次数所占百分比为90%,其分布频率较高的数值范围是3~6mm,占86%;数字化标注组偏移数值在3mm以上的次数所占百分比仅为28%,其分布频率较高的数值范围是1~4mm,占92%。两组测量数据比较,差异具有显著统计学意义(P<0.01)。真空垫画线组摆位误差随着时间变化是不平稳的,而数字化标注组随着时间序列变化是平稳的。结论在临床实践中使用加速器放射治疗时可以考虑优先采用数字标记方式进行真空垫固定的放射治疗。 展开更多

基于每日CBCT的乳腺癌术后单周超大分割全乳放疗的位置误差及外扩边界研究

背景与目的:乳腺癌保乳术后单周超大分割全乳放疗能在保证疗效和安全性的同时缩短疗程,是目前可选的全乳放疗方案。超大分割放疗要求患者每日接受图像引导,但其对位置误差的影响尚不明确。在每日锥形束计算机断层扫描(cone-beam compute... 背景与目的:乳腺癌保乳术后单周超大分割全乳放疗能在保证疗效和安全性的同时缩短疗程,是目前可选的全乳放疗方案。超大分割放疗要求患者每日接受图像引导,但其对位置误差的影响尚不明确。在每日锥形束计算机断层扫描(cone-beam computed tomography,CBCT)引导下,本研究旨在探索单周超大分割全乳放疗的位置误差及其影响因素,并计算临床靶体积(clinical target volume,CTV)外扩至计划靶体积(planning target volume,PTV)的三维边界。方法:纳入2021年2月-10月于上海瑞金医院入组乳腺癌术后单周超大分割全乳放疗前瞻性研究(NCT04926766)连续入组的患者的临床资料[(2020)临伦审第(352)号]。所有患者每日治疗前摆位后行CBCT1,根据CBCT1纠正误差后再行CBCT2,当次治疗结束后行CBCT3。CBCT1、CBCT2与定位CT的三维位置误差分别为初始、残余分次间误差。CBCT2与CBCT3间的三维位置误差为分次内误差。根据每次治疗的分次间及分次内误差,基于van Herk公式计算CTV外扩至PTV三维边界。结果:本研究共入组患者34例,收集CBCT图像510例次。每日治疗前CBCT在线位置纠正显著减少三维位置误差(初始分次间误差vs残余分次间误差:前后2.8 mm vs 0.4 mm;头脚1.6 mm vs 0.5 mm;左右1.8 mm vs 0.3 mm;P均<0.001)。对于残余分次间误差,CTV体积较大患者(>402.5 cm^(3)vs≤402.5 cm^(3))在前后方向(0.5 mm vs 0.3 mm,P=0.023)和头脚方向(0.6 mm vs 0.5 mm,P=0.037)更大。对于分次内误差,CTV较大患者(>402.5 cm^(3)vs≤402.5 cm^(3))在前后方向更大(0.5 mm vs 0.2 mm,P=0.001);身体质量指数(body mass index,BMI)较高患者(>23.2 kg/m^(2)vs≤23.2 kg/m^(2))在前后方向更大(0.7 mm vs 0.2 mm,P<0.001);体重更大患者(> 60.0 kg vs≤60.0 kg)在前后方向更大(0.5 mm vs 0.2 mm,P=0.033)。每日CBCT引导下CTV外扩至PTV边界推荐为:前后2.3 mm,头脚2.8 mm,左右2.0mm。但CTV>402.5 cm^(3)和BMI>23.2 kg/m^(2)的患者需要更大的头脚方向外扩边界,分别为3.1和3.4 mm。结论:每日CBCT图像引导下,对大部分患者将全乳放疗CTV外扩至PTV的三维边界限制在3 mm内是可行的,而BMI较高和CTV较大患者需在头脚方向适度增大外扩边界。 展开更多

目的通过不同配准视野(FOV)对宫颈癌放射治疗患者摆位误差进行测量,探讨宫颈癌放射治疗患者摆位验证配准技术。方法选择2023年7月至2024年2月收治的宫颈癌放射治疗患者68例,年龄32~75岁,平均年龄62岁;身体质量指数(BMI)15.1~34.0kg/m^(2... 目的通过不同配准视野(FOV)对宫颈癌放射治疗患者摆位误差进行测量,探讨宫颈癌放射治疗患者摆位验证配准技术。方法选择2023年7月至2024年2月收治的宫颈癌放射治疗患者68例,年龄32~75岁,平均年龄62岁;身体质量指数(BMI)15.1~34.0kg/m^(2)平均BMI24.5kg/m^(2);膀胱尿容量252~573mL,平均膀胱尿容量396mL。患者分别以主动脉旁淋巴结野(PALN)与盆腔野(Pelvic)为FOV进行摆位配准,得出摆位误差大小及偏移方向,比较不同配准FOV的摆位误差大小及偏移方向差异。结果以PALN为FOV进行配准:X、Y、Z轴向平移误差均值分别为2.64mm(32.35%左侧偏移、66.18%右侧偏移)、3.00mm(55.88%头侧偏移、41.18%脚侧偏移)、2.03mm(54.41%腹侧偏移、45.59%背侧偏移),X、Y、Z轴向旋转误差均值分别为1.01°(38.24%顺时针旋转、47.06%逆时针旋转)、0.84°(33.82%顺时针旋转、60.29%逆时针旋转)、0.84°(45.59%顺时针旋转、39.71%逆时针旋转)。以Pelvic为FOV进行配准:X、Y、Z轴向平移误差均值分别为2.39mm(33.82%左侧偏移、66.18%右侧偏移)3.15mm(60.29%头侧偏移、38.24%脚侧偏移)、1.60mm(55.88%腹侧偏移、41.18%背侧偏移),X、Y、Z轴向旋转误差均值分别为1.07°(52.94%顺时针旋转、42.65%逆时针旋转)、0.82°(35.29%顺时针旋转、61.76%逆时针旋转)、0.86°(42.65%顺时针旋转、51.47%逆时针旋转)。不同配准FOV摆位误差大小比较,平移误差X、Z轴方向,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);不同配准FOV摆位误差方向差异比较,在X轴旋转方向,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论宫颈癌放射治疗摆位误差验证时,仅以PALN或Pelvic来进行配准,不但会导致治疗精度下降,而且会导致靶区边缘的剂量不足。在日常治疗时应结合PALN、Pelvic进行配准,防止靶区边缘误差超限值,提高放射治疗精度。 展开更多

旋转偏移角度和剂量梯度跌落指数对多发脑转移瘤VMAT计划靶区相对覆盖率的影响

目的探讨旋转偏移角度θ和剂量梯度跌落指数(GI)对多发脑转移瘤非共面容积调强放射治疗(VMAT)计划靶区相对覆盖率(Re)的综合影响。方法选择2018年1月1日至2023年12月1日南京市溧水区人民医院收治的脑转移瘤患者10例,其中男性4例,女性6例... 目的探讨旋转偏移角度θ和剂量梯度跌落指数(GI)对多发脑转移瘤非共面容积调强放射治疗(VMAT)计划靶区相对覆盖率(Re)的综合影响。方法选择2018年1月1日至2023年12月1日南京市溧水区人民医院收治的脑转移瘤患者10例,其中男性4例,女性6例;年龄29~67岁,中位年龄54岁;身体质量指数(BMI)19.03~25.95 kg/m^(2),平均BMI 22.06 kg/m^(2)(标准差2.23 kg/m^(2))。在头部CT图像集上勾画3个不同体积的球形模拟脑转移瘤,直径依次为1 cm(T1)、2 cm(T2)和3 cm(T3),设计5弧非共面单等中心VMAT计划,等中心点到靶区中心的距离(旋转半径R)依次设置为3 cm和5 cm。在计划优化阶段通过调整靶区内最大受照射剂量上限来模拟靶区的剂量梯度变化。通过改变治疗床的角度(θ=0.5°、1.0°、1.5°、2.0°、2.5°、3.0°)模拟旋转摆位误差,不进行子野优化,直接计算剂量分布。计划评价参数包括靶区的Re及GI。采用非参数Kruskal-Wallis和Spearman检验分析θ和GI对靶区Re的影响。结果随着θ的增加,靶区的Re逐渐下降,且对体积较小的靶区的Re影响尤为明显。当R=3 cm,θ由0°增加到3°时,T1、T2和T3的Re分别为89.12%±3.02%、92.42%±1.35%和95.88%±1.71%(Z=8.880,P=0.012)。当R=5 cm,θ由0°增加到3°时,T1、T2和T3的Re分别为79.70%±4.80%、85.93%±4.49%和89.90%±4.24%(Z=14.929,P=0.001)。较小的θ(0.5°)对靶区的Re影响不大(<2%),差异无统计学意义(R=3 cm,Z=4.197,P=0.123;R=5 cm,Z=2.113,P=0.348)。靶区的Re和GI呈线性关系(R=3 cm,θ=3.0°:PT1=0.036,PT2=0.043,PT3=0.012;R=5 cm,θ=2.0°:PT1=0.006,PT2=0.017,PT3=0.044;R=5 cm,θ=2.5°:PT1=0.024,PT2=0.044,PT3=0.031;R=5 cm,θ=3.0°:PT1=0.048,PT2=0.049,PT3=0.049)。结论考虑放射治疗过程中存在摆位误差的情况下,较大的GI可以在一定程度上增加小靶区的Re,建议θ校正阈值设置为0.5°。 展开更多
