However, it is very difficult to improve the environmental quality ...The environmental problems in the seriously polluted cities in China have been paid attention to by policy makers and foreign and domestic scholars. However, it is very difficult to improve the environmental quality fundamentally due to its complexity, for example the formation of the seriously deteriorated environment. It is considered that the terminal harnessing is an important way,but the spread of high level terminal treatment is restricted by the limit of funds and technological level. Therefore, the way for a sustainable development of the seriously polluted cities should be multiple sided, which is to correlate the operation of environmental protection with the operation of city construction. To achieve an identity of these opposites, measures should be taken during economic development and environmental protection in every developing stage. In this paper, the authors take Benxi City as a case study.展开更多

There is a significant loss of nutrients, which occurs during biochar preparation before biochar is returned to soil,thereby seriously undermining biochar's efficacy. Therefore, the transformation mechanisms of biochar p H,mass, nutrients and metals during pyrolysis under different atmospheres and temperatures were studied such that the best method for biochar preparation could be developed. Several conclusions can be reached:(1) a CO2 atmosphere is better than a N2 atmosphere for biochar preparation, although preparation in a CO2 atmosphere is not a common practice for biochar producers;(2) 350 ℃is the best temperature for biochar preparation because the amount of nutrient loss is notably low based on the premise of straw transferred into biochar; and(3) transforming mechanisms of pH, N, P and K are also involved in the biochar preparation process.展开更多
In limited feedback-based CloudRAN(C-RAN) systems,the inter-cluster and intra-cluster interference together with the quantification error can seriously deteriorates the system spectral efficiency.We,in this paper,prop...In limited feedback-based CloudRAN(C-RAN) systems,the inter-cluster and intra-cluster interference together with the quantification error can seriously deteriorates the system spectral efficiency.We,in this paper,propose an efficient three-phase framework and corresponding algorithms for dealing with this problem.Firstly,a greedy scheduling algorithm based on the lower bound of the ergodic rate is performed for generating an elementary cluster in the first phase.And then the elementary cluster is divided into many small clusters according to the following proposed algorithms based on the short term instantaneous information in the second phase.In the end,based on the limited feedback two zero-forcing(ZF) precoding strategies are adopted for reducing the intra-cluster interference in the third phase.The provided Monte Carlo simulations show the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms in the respect of system spectral efficiency and average user rate.展开更多

In the scheme, ...An ultra-wide and flat optical frequency comb(OFC) generation scheme using multiple continuous wave(CW) light sources based on electro-absorption modulator(EAM) and frequency modulator(FM) is proposed. In the scheme, each CW light source is broadened and modulated by the first EAM and FM, respectively. The second EAM is introduced to flatten the ultra-wide OFC lines. By setting the wavelength spacing of light sources equal to the bandwidth of sub-OFC, an ultra-wide OFC can be obtained. Principle analysis and simulation for the scheme are performed. The results show that in the case of a single light source, a tunable and flat OFC is obtained. With the increase of light sources, the bandwidth of the generated ultra-wide OFC expands rapidly. In the case of 28 light sources, a 22 GHz ultra-wide OFC with bandwidth of 16.52 THz can be generated.展开更多
