However, a great number of students raise many questions about the difference between the two systems, and feel highly confused about choosing adult higher education or higher education' s self-study exam currently. A Hybrid Deep Learning Approach for Real-Time Cheating Behaviour Detection in Online Exams Using Video Captured Analysis

Online examinations have become a dominant assessment mode,increasing concerns over academic integrity.To address the critical challenge of detecting cheating behaviours,this study proposes a hybrid deep learning approach that combines visual detection and temporal behaviour classification.The methodology utilises object detection models—You Only Look Once(YOLOv12),Faster Region-based Convolutional Neural Network(RCNN),and Single Shot Detector(SSD)MobileNet—integrated with classification models such as Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN),Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(Bi-GRU),and CNN-LSTM(Long Short-Term Memory).Two distinct datasets were used:the Online Exam Proctoring(EOP)dataset from Michigan State University and the School of Computer Science,Duy Tan Unievrsity(SCS-DTU)dataset collected in a controlled classroom setting.A diverse set of cheating behaviours,including book usage,unauthorised interaction,internet access,and mobile phone use,was categorised.Comprehensive experiments evaluated the models based on accuracy,precision,recall,training time,inference speed,and memory usage.We evaluate nine detector-classifier pairings under a unified budget and score them via a calibrated harmonic mean of detection and classification accuracies,enabling deployment-oriented selection under latency and memory constraints.Macro-Precision/Recall/F1 and Receiver Operating Characteristic-Area Under the Curve(ROC-AUC)are reported for the top configurations,revealing consistent advantages of object-centric pipelines for fine-grained cheating cues.The highest overall score is achieved by YOLOv12+CNN(97.15%accuracy),while SSD-MobileNet+CNN provides the best speed-efficiency trade-off for edge devices.This research provides valuable insights into selecting and deploying appropriate deep learning models for maintaining exam integrity under varying resource constraints. 展开更多

The rapid shift to online education has introduced significant challenges to maintaining academic integrity in remote assessments,as traditional proctoring methods fall short in preventing cheating.The increase in cheating during online exams highlights the need for efficient,adaptable detection models to uphold academic credibility.This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of various deep learning models for cheating detection in online proctoring systems,evaluating their accuracy,efficiency,and adaptability.We benchmark several advanced architectures,including EfficientNet,MobileNetV2,ResNet variants and more,using two specialized datasets(OEP and OP)tailored for online proctoring contexts.Our findings reveal that EfficientNetB1 and YOLOv5 achieve top performance on the OP dataset,with EfficientNetB1 attaining a peak accuracy of 94.59% and YOLOv5 reaching a mean average precision(mAP@0.5)of 98.3%.For the OEP dataset,ResNet50-CBAM,YOLOv5 and EfficientNetB0 stand out,with ResNet50-CBAMachieving an accuracy of 93.61% and EfficientNetB0 showing robust detection performance with balanced accuracy and computational efficiency.These results underscore the importance of selectingmodels that balance accuracy and efficiency,supporting scalable,effective cheating detection in online assessments. 展开更多

专科医院住院医师年度业务水平测试与结业理论考核的相关性分析

目的探讨专科医院住院医师规范化培训(简称住培)年度业务水平测试与结业考核之间的关系,提升培训质量。方法对2019级和2020级眼科和耳鼻咽喉科专业住院医师年度业务水平测试成绩和结业理论考核成绩进行相关性分析。结果2019级(n=41)、2... 目的探讨专科医院住院医师规范化培训(简称住培)年度业务水平测试与结业考核之间的关系,提升培训质量。方法对2019级和2020级眼科和耳鼻咽喉科专业住院医师年度业务水平测试成绩和结业理论考核成绩进行相关性分析。结果2019级(n=41)、2020级(n=47)住院医师在性别、专业、学历、招录来源方面差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);纳入分析的总体住院医师的年度业务水平测试成绩和结业理论考核成绩呈正相关(R2=0.395,P<0.05);相关性分析显示,招录来源、学历是影响年度业务水平测试成绩的相关因子(P<0.05),而多因素分析证实学历是唯一独立相关因素;性别则是影响结业理论考核成绩的独立相关因素(P<0.05)。结论专科医院住院医师年度业务水平测试对结业理论考核具有显著预测评估作用,提高年度业务水平测试重视程度,并有效利用其对结业考核的预测预警作用,将有助于提升住院医师的培训质量。 展开更多

体格检查联合X线平片在诊断老年肩袖损伤中的应用

目的分析体格检查联合X线平片在诊断老年肩袖损伤中的应用。方法选取2022年1月至2024年1月河北燕达医院收治的疑似单侧肩袖损伤且拟行关节镜手术治疗的212例老年患者为观察对象,以肩关节镜探查为肩袖损伤诊断金标准,将老年患者分为损伤... 目的分析体格检查联合X线平片在诊断老年肩袖损伤中的应用。方法选取2022年1月至2024年1月河北燕达医院收治的疑似单侧肩袖损伤且拟行关节镜手术治疗的212例老年患者为观察对象,以肩关节镜探查为肩袖损伤诊断金标准,将老年患者分为损伤组与未损伤组,比较两组Hug-up试验等体格检查及X线平片检查情况差异。采用Kappa一致性检验评估体格检查及X线平片对肩袖损伤的诊断价值。采用SPSS 23.0软件进行数据分析。根据数据类型,组间比较分别采用t检验及χ^(2)检验。结果剔除4例资料不可用病例,最终入组208例老年患者,关节镜检查显示有181例(87.02%)诊断为肩袖损伤,其中172例(95.03%,172/181)为冈上肌腱损伤。损伤组Hug-up试验阳性率及改良Hug-up试验阳性率、X线平片阳性率均显著高于未损伤组,差异均有统计学意义[159(87.85%)和15(55.56%),158(87.29%)和13(48.15%),162(89.50%)和7(25.93%);均P<0.05]。Kappa一致性检验显示,Hug-up试验、改良Hug-up试验及X线平片对肩袖损伤的诊断Kappa系数为0.286、0.291、0.535(均P<0.05),3项联合检查(串联)与金标准的一致性良好(Kappa系数为0.621,P<0.05),准确率为88.46%(184/208),灵敏度为87.29%(158/181),特异度为96.30%(26/27)。结论Hug-up试验、改良Hug-up试验及X线平片联合检查诊断老年肩袖损伤的准确性良好,应用价值较高。 展开更多

BACKGROUND System based practice(SBP) milestones require trainees to effectively navigate the larger health care system for optimal patient care. In gastroenterology training programs, the assessment of SBP is difficult due to high volume, high acuity inpatient care, as well as inconsistent direct supervision. Nevertheless,structured assessment is required for training programs. We hypothesized that objective structured clinical examination(OSCE) would be an effective tool for assessment of SBP.AIM To develop a novel method for SBP milestone assessment of gastroenterology fellows using the OSCE.METHODS For this observational study, we created 4 OSCE stations: Counseling an impaired colleague, handoff after overnight call, a feeding tube placement discussion, and giving feedback to a medical student on a progress note. Twentysix first year fellows from 7 programs participated. All fellows encountered identical case presentations. Checklists were completed by trained standardized patients who interacted with each fellow participant. A report with individual and composite scores was generated and forwarded to program directors to utilize in formative assessment. Fellows also received immediate feedback from a faculty observer and completed a post-session program evaluation survey.RESULTS Survey response rate was 100%. The average composite score across SBP milestones for all cases were 6.22(SBP1), 4.34(SBP2), 3.35(SBP3), and 6.42(SBP4)out of 9. The lowest composite score was in SBP 3, which asks fellows to advocate for cost effective care. This highest score was in patient care 2, which asks fellows to develop comprehensive management plans. Discrepancies were identified between the fellows’ perceived performance in their self-assessments and Standardized Patient checklist evaluations for each case. Eighty-seven percent of fellows agreed that OSCEs are an important component of their clinical training,and 83% stated that the cases were similar to actual clinical encounters. All participating fellows stated that the immediate feedback was "very useful." One hundred percent of the fellows stated they would incorporate OSCE learning into their clinical practice.CONCLUSION OSCEs may be used for standardized evaluation of SBP milestones. Trainees scored lower on SBP milestones than other more concrete milestones. Training programs should consider OSCEs for assessment of SBP. 展开更多

The main objective of this research is to provide a solution for online exam systems by using face recognition to authenticate learners for attending an online exam. More importantly, the system continuously (with short time intervals), checks for learner identity during the whole exam period to ensure that the learner who started the exam is the same one who continued until the end and prevent the possibility of cheating by looking at adjacent PC or reading from an external paper. The system will issue an early warning to the learners if suspicious behavior has been noticed by the system. The proposed system has been presented to eight e-learning instructors and experts in addition to 32 students to gather feedback and to study the impact and the benefit of such system in e-learning environment. 展开更多
