Integrating just-in-time expansion primitives and an adaptive variable-step-size mechanism for feasible path planning of finite-wing UAVs

Path planning is crucial for autonomous flight of fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs).However,due to the high-speed flight and complex control of fixed-wing UAVs,ensuring the feasibility and safety of planned paths in complex environments is challenging.This paper proposes a feasible path planning algorithm named Closed-loop Radial Ray A^(*)(CL-RaA^(*)).The core components of the CL-RaA^(*)include an adaptive variable-step-size path search and a just-in-time expansion primitive.The former enables fast path search in complex environments,while the latter ensures the feasibility of the generated paths.By integrating these two components and conducting safety checks on the trajectories to be expanded,the CL-RaA^(*)can rapidly generate safe and feasible paths that satisfy the differential constraints that comprehensively consider the dynamics and control characteristics of six-degree-of-freedom fixed-wing UAVs.The final performance tests and simulation validations demonstrate that the CL-RaA^(*)can generate safe and feasible paths in various environments.Compared to feasible path planning algorithms that use the rapidlyexploring random trees,the CL-RaA^(*)not only ensures deterministic planning results in the same scenarios but also generates smoother feasible paths for fixed-wing UAVs more efficiently.In environments with dense grid obstacles,the feasible paths generated by the CL-RaA^(*)are more conducive to UAV tracking compared to those planned using Dubins curves. 展开更多

A variable parameter self-adaptive control strategy based on driving condition identification is proposed to take full advantage of the fuel saving potential of the plug-in hybrid electric bus(PHEB).Firstly,the principal component analysis(PCA)and the fuzzy c-means clustering(FCM)algorithm is used to construct the comprehensive driving cycle,congestion driving cycle,urban driving cycle and suburban driving cycle of Chinese urban buses.Secondly,an improved particle swarm optimization(IPSO)algorithm is proposed,and is used to optimize the control parameters of PHEB under different driving cycles,respectively.Then,the variable parameter self-adaptive control strategy based on driving condition identification is given.Finally,for an actual running vehicle,the driving condition is identified by relevance vector machine(RVM),and the corresponding control parameters are selected to control the vehicle.The simulation results show that the fuel consumption of using the variable parameter self-adaptive control strategy is reduced by 4.2% compared with that of the fixed parameter control strategy,and the feasibility of the variable parameter self-adaptive control strategy is verified. 展开更多

Based on the theoretical and experimental investigation of a thin silicon layer(TSL) with linear variable doping(LVD) and further research on the TSL LVD with a multiple step field plate(MSFP),a breakdown voltage(BV) model is proposed and experimentally verified in this paper.With the two-dimensional Poisson equation of the silicon on insulator(SOI) device,the lateral electric field in drift region of the thin silicon layer is assumed to be constant.For the SOI device with LVD in the thin silicon layer,the dependence of the BV on impurity concentration under the drain is investigated by an enhanced dielectric layer field(ENDIF),from which the reduced surface field(RESURF) condition is deduced.The drain in the centre of the device has a good self-isolation effect,but the problem of the high voltage interconnection(HVI) line will become serious.The two step field plates including the source field plate and gate field plate can be adopted to shield the HVI adverse effect on the device.Based on this model,the TSL LVD SOI n-channel lateral double-diffused MOSFET(nLDMOS) with MSFP is realized.The experimental breakdown voltage(BV) and specific on-resistance(R on,sp) of the TSL LVD SOI device are 694 V and 21.3 ·mm 2 with a drift region length of 60 μm,buried oxide layer of 3 μm,and silicon layer of 0.15 μm,respectively. 展开更多

Nano-volt magnetic resonance sounding(MRS) signals are sufficiently weak so that during the actual measurement, they are affected by environmental electromagnetic noise, leading to inaccuracy of the extracted characteristic parameters and hindering effective inverse interpretation. Considering the complexity and non-homogeneous spatial distribution of environmental noise and based on the theory of adaptive noise cancellation, a model system for noise cancellation using multi-reference coils was constructed to receive MRS signals. The feasibility of this system with theoretical calculation and experiments was analyzed and a modified sigmoid variable step size least mean square(SVSLMS) algorithm for noise cancellation was presented. The simulation results show that, the multi-reference coil method performs better than the single one on both signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) improvement and signal waveform optimization after filtering, under the condition of different noise correlations in the reference coils and primary detecting coils and different SNRs. In particular, when the noise correlation is poor and the SNR<0, the SNR can be improved by more than 8 dB after filtering with multi-reference coils. And the average fitting errors for initial amplitude and relaxation time are within 5%. Compared with the normalized least mean square(NLMS) algorithm and multichannel Wiener filter and processing field test data, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified. 展开更多

The problem of inter symbol interference( ISI) in wireless communication systems caused by multipath propagation when using high order modulation like M-Q AMis solved. Since the wireless receiver doesn't require a training sequence,a blind equalization channel is implemented in the receiver to increase the throughput of the system. To improve the performances of both the blind equalizer and the system,a joint receiving mechanismincluding variable step size( VSS) modified constant modulus algorithms( MC-MA) and modified decision directed modulus algorithms( MD DMA) is proposed to ameliorate the convergence speed and mean square error( MSE) performance and combat the phase error when using high order QAM modulation. The VSS scheme is based on the selection of step size according to the distance between the output of the equalizer and the desired output in the constellation plane. Analysis and simulations showthat the performance of the proposed VSS-MCMA-MD DMA mechanismis better than that of algorithms with a fixed step size. In addition,the MCMA-MDDMA with VSS can performthe phase recovery by itself. 展开更多

Forward modeling of elastic wave propagation in porous media has great importance for understanding and interpreting the influences of rock properties on characteristics of seismic wavefield. However,the finite-difference forward-modeling method is usually implemented with global spatial grid-size and time-step; it consumes large amounts of computational cost when small-scaled oil/gas-bearing structures or large velocity-contrast exist underground. To overcome this handicap,combined with variable grid-size and time-step,this paper developed a staggered-grid finite-difference scheme for elastic wave modeling in porous media. Variable finite-difference coefficients and wavefield interpolation were used to realize the transition of wave propagation between regions of different grid-size. The accuracy and efficiency of the algorithm were shown by numerical examples. The proposed method is advanced with low computational cost in elastic wave simulation for heterogeneous oil/gas reservoirs. 展开更多

In order to improve the problem that the filtered-x least mean square(FxLMS)algorithm cannot take into account the convergence speed,steady-state error during active noise control.A piecewise variable step size FxLMS algorithm based on logarithmic function(PLFxLMS)is proposed,and the genetic algorithm are introduced to optimize the parameters of logarithmic variable step size FxLMS(LFxLMS),improved logarithmic variable step size Films(IFxLMS),and PLFxLMS algorithms.Bandlimited white noise is used as the input signal,FxLMS,LFxLMS,ILFxLMS,and PLFxLMS algorithms are used to conduct active noise control simulation,and the convergence speed and steady-state characteristic of four algorithms are comparatively analyzed.Compared with the other three algorithms,the PLFxLMS algorithm proposed in this paper has the fastest convergence speed,and small steady-state error.The PLFxLMS algorithm can effectively improve the convergence speed and steady-state error of the FxLMS algorithm that cannot be controlled at the same time,and achieve the optimal effect. 展开更多

The PID is currently adapted to control the welding wire feed mechanism, although the fuzzy PID has advantage of fast response and adaptation, the precision of fuzzy PID is lower. Accordingly, the fuzzy self-adaptive PID controller was proposed through changing fuzzy input variables and output variables based on variable universe, simple furwtion is adopted as scaling factor, the fuzzy PID controller parameters are adjusted to improve the precision and adjustment range. Simulation results show that control effects of fuzzy self-adaptive PID adopted by the welding wire feed mechanism have good adaptive ability and robustness based on variable universe, the welding experiments indicate that the welding quality met the requirements actually. 展开更多

A new normalized least mean square(NLMS) adaptive filter is first derived from a cost function, which incorporates the conventional one of the NLMS with a minimum-disturbance(MD)constraint. A variable regularization factor(RF) is then employed to control the contribution made by the MD constraint in the cost function. Analysis results show that the RF can be taken as a combination of the step size and regularization parameter in the conventional NLMS. This implies that these parameters can be jointly controlled by simply tuning the RF as the proposed algorithm does. It also demonstrates that the RF can accelerate the convergence rate of the proposed algorithm and its optimal value can be obtained by minimizing the squared noise-free posteriori error. A method for automatically determining the value of the RF is also presented, which is free of any prior knowledge of the noise. While simulation results verify the analytical ones, it is also illustrated that the performance of the proposed algorithm is superior to the state-of-art ones in both the steady-state misalignment and the convergence rate. A novel algorithm is proposed to solve some problems. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

A self-adaptive precise algorithm in the time domain was employed to solve 2-D nonlinear coupled heat and moisture transfer problems. By expanding variables at a discretized time interval, the variations of variables can be described more precisely,and a nonlinear coupled initial and boundary value problem was converted into a series of recurrent linear boundary value problems which are solved by FE technique. In the computation, no additional assumption and the nonlinear iteration are required, and a criterion for self-adaptive computation is proposed to maintain sufficient computing accuracy for the change sizes of time steps. In the numerical comparison, the variations of material properties with temperature, moisture content, and both temperature and moisture content are taken into account, respectively. Satisfactory results have been obtained, indicating that the proposed approach is capable of dealing with complex nonlinear problems. 展开更多

Most large-scale systems including self-adaptive systems utilize feature models(FMs)to represent their complex architectures and benefit from the reuse of commonalities and variability information.Self-adaptive systems(SASs)are capable of reconfiguring themselves during the run time to satisfy the scenarios of the requisite contexts.However,reconfiguration of SASs corresponding to each adaptation of the system requires significant computational time and resources.The process of configuration reuse can be a better alternative to some contexts to reduce computational time,effort and error-prone.Nevertheless,systems’complexity can be reduced while the development process of systems by reusing elements or components.FMs are considered one of the new ways of reuse process that are able to introduce new opportunities for the reuse process beyond the conventional system components.While current FM-based modelling techniques represent,manage,and reuse elementary features to model SASs concepts,modeling and reusing configurations have not yet been considered.In this context,this study presents an extension to FMs by introducing and managing configuration features and their reuse process.Evaluation results demonstrate that reusing configuration features reduces the effort and time required by a reconfiguration process during the run time to meet the required scenario according to the current context. 展开更多

Attribute reduction is an important process in rough set theory.Finding minimum attribute reduction has been proven to help the user-oriented make better knowledge discovery in some cases.In this paper,an efficient minimum attribute reduction algorithm is proposed based on the multilevel evolutionary tree with self-adaptive subpopulations.A model of multilevel evolutionary tree with self-adaptive subpopulations is constructed,and interacting attribute sets are better decomposed into subsets by the self-adaptive mechanism of elitist populations.Moreover it can self-adapt the subpopulation sizes according to the historical performance record so that interacting attribute decision variables are captured into the same grouped subpopulation,which will be extended to better performance in both quality of solution and competitive computation complexity for minimum attribute reduction.The conducted experiments show the proposed algorithm is better on both efficiency and accuracy of minimum attribute reduction than some representative algorithms.Finally the proposed algorithm is applied to magnetic resonance image(MRI)segmentation,and its stronger applicability is further demonstrated by the effective and robust segmentation results. 展开更多

近年来,超宽带(Ultra-wideband,UWB)通信技术已成为室内高速数据传输的一种有效解决方案。由于其无线传输中信道多径密集的特点,因此对信道的精确估计是保证通信质量的重点。针对基于分段压缩感知(Segmented Compressed Sensing,SCS)的... 近年来,超宽带(Ultra-wideband,UWB)通信技术已成为室内高速数据传输的一种有效解决方案。由于其无线传输中信道多径密集的特点,因此对信道的精确估计是保证通信质量的重点。针对基于分段压缩感知(Segmented Compressed Sensing,SCS)的信道估计进行研究,提出了一种基于分段压缩感知的变步长稀疏度自适应匹配追踪(Variable Step-Sparsity Adaptive Matching Pursuit,VS-SAMP)算法。与传统的正交匹配追踪(Orthogonal Matching Pursuit,OMP)算法以及加权正交匹配跟踪(Weighted Orthogonal Matching Pursuit,WOMP)算法相比,VS-SAMP算法能够在分段后稀疏度分配未知的情况下,通过变步长稀疏度自适应匹配追踪算法对信号重构,从而对信道估计精度和迭代计算速度均有提升。信道估计的相关系数提升0.04,迭代次数在段数为6时约减少6次,相比WOMP算法提升了1/8。 展开更多

为减少建筑给排水系统能耗,以给排水中的生活供水为对象,围绕变频调速技术在给排水机电设备节能运行参数调控应用展开研究,提出一种阶梯恒压控制策略的优化方案。通过构建系统数学模型,动态设定不同流量区间下的最佳运行压力,以减少富... 为减少建筑给排水系统能耗,以给排水中的生活供水为对象,围绕变频调速技术在给排水机电设备节能运行参数调控应用展开研究,提出一种阶梯恒压控制策略的优化方案。通过构建系统数学模型,动态设定不同流量区间下的最佳运行压力,以减少富余扬程,实现供水量与能耗的精准匹配。为验证研究所提出的优化方案的优化效果,结合某住宅小区采集2024年7月29日的实际用水数据,搭建仿真实验平台进行验证。模拟结果表明,优化后系统高峰用水量降至38.23m^(3)/h,全天能耗显著降低,节能效果达到预期,为公共建筑给排水系统的精细化节能运行提供了可行路径。 展开更多
