A single-machine scheduling with preventive periodic maintenance activities in a remanufacturing system including resumable and non-resumable jobs is studied.The objective is to find a schedule to minimize the makespa...A single-machine scheduling with preventive periodic maintenance activities in a remanufacturing system including resumable and non-resumable jobs is studied.The objective is to find a schedule to minimize the makespan and an LPT-LS algorithm is proposed.Non-resumable jobs are first scheduled in a machine by the longest processing time(LPT) rule,and then resumable jobs are scheduled by the list scheduling(LS) rule.And the worst-case ratios of this algorithm in three different cases in terms of the value of the total processing time of the resumable jobs(denoted as S2) are discussed.When S2 is longer than the spare time of the machine after the non-resumable jobs are assigned by the LPT rule,it is equal to 1.When S2 falls in between the spare time of the machine by the LPT rule and the optimal schedule rule,it is less than 2.When S2 is less than the spare time of the machine by the optimal schedule rule,it is less than 2.Finally,numerical examples are presented for verification.展开更多

In response to problems in the centralized storage of personal resumes on third-party recruitment platforms,such as inadequate privacy protection,inability of individuals to accurately authorize downloads,and inabilit...In response to problems in the centralized storage of personal resumes on third-party recruitment platforms,such as inadequate privacy protection,inability of individuals to accurately authorize downloads,and inability to determine who downloaded the resume and when,this study proposes a blockchain-based framework for secure storage and sharing of resumes.Users can employ an authorized access mechanism to protect their privacy rights.The proposed framework uses smart contracts,interplanetary file system,symmetric encryption,and digital signatures to protect,verify,and share resumes.Encryption keys are split and stored in multiple depositories through secret-sharing technology to improve the security of these keys.Corresponding key escrow incentives are implemented using smart contracts to automatically verify the correctness of keys and encourage the active participation of honest key escrow parties.This framework combines blockchain and searchable symmetric encryption technology to realize multikeyword search using inverted indexing and Bloom filters and verify search results on the chain.Escrow search service fees are charged through contracts.Only after the search results are verified can the search service provider obtain the search fee,thus ensuring fair and efficient search for encrypted resumes.The framework is decentralized,secure,and tamper-evident,and achieves controlled sharing while protecting personal privacy and information security.展开更多

We numerically investigate the normalized localization length of two-side rough nanowires as functions of energy,magnetic field and correlation strength by using modular recursive Green's function method.It is fou...We numerically investigate the normalized localization length of two-side rough nanowires as functions of energy,magnetic field and correlation strength by using modular recursive Green's function method.It is found that in the absence of correlation,while in the presence of magnetic field,the localization length increases linearly for two-side roughness,which is different to diverging exponentially for one-side roughness.Moreover,the localization of electrons is suppressed in the low energy region,but enhanced in the high energy region.In the presence of correlation,especially,an exponential enhancement in the localization length resumes in high energy region,in contrast to that in low energy region,the long-range correlations abnormally enhance the localization of electrons.A competitive mechanism is proposed to explain this behavior.展开更多
