文摘In a rapid cycling synchrotron(RCS),the magnetic field is synchronized with the beam energy, creating a highly dynamic magnetic environment.A ceramic chamber with a shielding layer(RF shield),composed of a series of copper strips connected to a capacitor at either end,is typically employed as a vacuum chamber to mitigate eddy current effects and beam coupling impedance.Consequently, the ceramic chamber exhibits a thin-walled multilayered complex structure.Previous theoretical studies have suggested that the impedance of such a structure has a negligible impact on the beam. However, recent impedance measurements of the ceramic chamber in the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)RCS revealed a resonance in the low-frequency range, which was confirmed by further theoretical analysis as a source of beam instability in the RCS.Currently, the magnitude of this impedance cannot be accurately assessed using theoretical calculations. In this study,we used the CST Microwave Studio to confirm the impedance of the ceramic chamber.Further simulations covering six different types of ceramic chambers were conducted to develop an impedance model in the RCS.Additionally, this study investigates the resonant characteristics of the ceramic chamber impedance, finding that the resonant frequency is closely related to the capacitance of the capacitors. This finding provides clear directions for further impedance optimization and is crucial for achieving a beam power of 500 kW for the CSNS Phase-Ⅱ project(CSNS-Ⅱ).However,careful attention must be paid to the voltage across the capacitors.

文摘This study investigated the effects of periodic high-frequency stress disturbances on the creep behavior of sandstone and analyzed the microstructural changes using nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)technology.High-frequency disturbance creep experiments were conducted on sandstone under different disturbance frequencies, disturbance cycles and loading stresses, and the following findings were obtained.Firstly, with the increase of loading stress and disturbance cycles, the total porosity increments, and damage value of sandstone increase, while the fractal dimension of sandstone pore structure presents the opposite trend.Secondly, during the disturbance creep process, the volumes of all three types of pores increase, but the proportion of micropores(T_(2)<10 ms)decreases, while the proportion of mesopores(10 ms<T_(2)<100 ms)and macropores(T_(2)>100 ms)increases.Thirdly, the fractal dimension difference has a good linear relationship with the damage, strain and porosity increment of sandstone during the disturbance creep process. Finally, the higher the disturbance frequency, the smaller the creep strain and creep strain rate during the steady-state creep stage. The study offers valuable theoretical insights for understanding rock creep behavior in complex stress environments.
文摘This study explores theoretical insights and experimental results on monitoring load-carrying capacity degradation in bridge spans through frequency analysis.Experiments were conducted on real bridge structures, including the Binh Thuan Bridge, focusing on analyzing the power spectral density(PSD)of vibration signals under random traffic loads.Detailed digital models of various bridge spans with different structural designs and construction periods were developed to ensure diversity. The study utilized PSD to analyze the vibration signals from the bridge spans under various loading conditions, identifying the vibration frequencies and the corresponding response regions. The research correlated the observed frequency changes of PSD with the actual deterioration of the bridges over time, identifying patterns that indicate a reduction in stiffness.Experiments demonstrated that frequency changes, particularly in high-frequency regions, are directly related to a reduction in the stiffness of bridge spans. This supports the hypothesis that natural frequencies can serve as effective indicators of structural damage.Furthermore, the emergence and shift of resonant frequency regions provide valuable insights into the extent of damage in actual bridge spans, highlighting the potential for using changes in resonant frequency regions as a new tool for structural damage detection.

文摘To clarify fluid flow mechanisms and establish effective development conditions in continental shale oil reservoirs,a high-temperature,high-pressure steady-state flow system integrated with nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)technology has been developed. The apparatus combines sample evacuation, rapid pressurization and saturation, and controlled displacement, enabling systematic investigation of single-phase shale oil flow under representative reservoir conditions.Related experiments allow proper quantification of the activation thresholds and relative contributions of different pore types to flow.A movable fluid index(MFI),defined using dual T_(2) cutoff values,is introduced accordingly and linked to key flow parameters. The results reveal distinct multi-scale characteristics of single-phase shale oil transport, namely micro-scale graded displacement and macro-scale segmented nonlinear behavior. As the injection-production pressure difference increases, flow pathways are activated progressively, beginning with fractures, followed by large and then smaller macropores, leading to a pronounced enhancement in apparent permeability.Although mesopores and micropores contribute little to direct flow, their indirect influence becomes increasingly important, and apparent permeability gradually approaches a stable limit at higher pressure difference. It is also shown that the MFI exhibits a strong negative correlation with the starting pressure gradient and a positive correlation with apparent permeability, providing a rapid and reliable indicator of shale oil flow capacity.Samples containing through-going fractures display consistently higher MFI values and superior flowability compared with those dominated by laminated fractures, highlighting the pivotal role of well-connected fracture networks generated by large-scale hydraulic fracturing in improving shale oil production.
文摘Rectal mucinous adenocarcinoma(RMAC)is a relatively rare but highly aggressive type of tumour, and its early diagnosis and accurate staging are highly important for disease prognosis. With the continuous development of medical imaging technology,MRI,a noninvasive imaging tool,is increasingly being used to diagnose rectal cancer.Although there have been several studies on the application of MRI in rectal cancer, there is still a lack of systematic summaries regarding the specific types, imaging characteristics, diagnostic challenges, and potential solutions for RMAC.In this review,we aim to summarize the MRI characteristics of RMAC,explore the current research status and application prospects of emerging technologies in this field, and provide references for clinical practice.

文摘Background:Brain volume measurement serves as a critical approach for assessing brain health status.Considering the close biological connection between the eyes and brain, this study aims to investigate the feasibility of estimating brain volume through retinal fundus imaging integrated with clinical metadata, and to offer a cost-effective approach for assessing brain health. Methods:Based on clinical information, retinal fundus images, and neuroimaging data derived from a multicenter,population-based cohort study, the Kai Luan Study,we proposed a cross-modal correlation representation(CMCR)network to elucidate the intricate co-degenerative relationships between the eyes and brain for 755 subjects.Specifically, individual clinical information, which has been followed up for as long as 12 years, was encoded as a prompt to enhance the accuracy of brain volume estimation.Independent internal validation and external validation were performed to assess the robustness of the proposed model.Root mean square error(RMSE),peak signal-tonoise ratio(PSNR),and structural similarity index measure(SSIM)metrics were employed to quantitatively evaluate the quality of synthetic brain images derived from retinal imaging data. Results:The proposed framework yielded average RMSE,PSNR,and SSIM values of 98.23,35.78 d B,and 0.64,respectively,which significantly outperformed 5 other methods:multi-channel Variational Autoencoder(mcVAE),Pixelto-Pixel(Pixel2pixel),transformer-based U-Net(Trans UNet),multi-scale transformer network(MT-Net),and residual vision transformer(ResViT).The two-(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)visualization results showed that the shape and texture of the synthetic brain images generated by the proposed method most closely resembled those of actual brain images. Thus, the CMCR framework accurately captured the latent structural correlations between the fundus and the brain. The average difference between predicted and actual brain volumes was 61.36 cm~3,with a relative error of 4.54%.When all of the clinical information(including age and sex, daily habits, cardiovascular factors, metabolic factors, and inflammatory factors)was encoded, the difference was decreased to 53.89 cm~3,with a relative error of 3.98%.Based on the synthesized brain magnetic resonance images from retinal fundus images, the volumes of brain tissues could be estimated with high accuracy. Conclusion:This study provides an innovative, accurate, and cost-effective approach to characterize brain health status through readily accessible retinal fundus images.

文摘Surface acoustic wave(SAW)resonators offer distinct advantages for coupling to semiconductor qubits, including low loss, high stability, and compatibility with magnetic fields. However, the integration of SAW resonators with double quantum dots(DQDs)that host charge and spin qubits remains largely unexplored. In this work,we propose a flip-chip architecture that enables three-dimensional integration of a semiconductor DQD with a SAW resonator.Taking experimental feasibility into account,we estimate the coupling strength between a DQD and a SAW resonator. The results suggest that the strong coupling regime can be reached in our design. This study provides theoretical insight and practical guidance for experimental exploration of phonon–electron coupling in hybrid SAW-DQD quantum systems.

文摘Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is one of the most widely used diagnostic techniques.Iron oxide nanoparticles,as a promising kind of contrast agents, have attracted intense research interest due to their low toxicity and superparamagnetism. However,it is still a great challenge to prepare ideal iron oxide based contrast agents with high uniformity, excellent water solubility and biocompatibility. In this paper,a novel water-soluble polymer ligand pentaerythritol tetrakis 3-mercaptopropionate-poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone)(PTMP-PVP)was used as a capping reagent to prepare iron oxide nanoparticles MIONs@PTMP-PVP through one-step co-precipitation of iron precursors in aqueous solution at 100℃.The obtained nanoparticles MIONs@PTMP-PVP had a small size and narrow size distribution, and they were found to be biocompatible as determined through CCK-8 assay and histology analysis. In vivo MRI study demonstrated that the obtained MIONs@PTMP-PVP can be potentially used as an effective T_(2)-weighted MRI contrast agent.

文摘AIM:To study the relationships between amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(ALFF)changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in patients with primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and analyze the diagnostic value of ALFF.METHODS:Twenty-four POAG patients and 24 healthy controls(HCs)underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI).Nonparametric rank-sum tests were used to compare the ALFF values in the slow-4 and slow-5 bands, and Spearman or Pearson correlation analysis was used to assess the correlation between ALFF changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in POAG patients.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were used to evaluate the diagnostic performance of the ALFF.RESULTS:There were 16 males in POAG patients(median age 48y)and 12 males in HCs(median age 39y).Compared with HCs,POAG patients presented increased or decreased ALFF values in different brain regions, and similar changes were observed in mild POAG patients. The ALFF values were correlated with retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)thickness, inner limiting membrane-retinal pigment epithelium thickness changes and the degree of visual field defects.Analysis of the diagnostic value of the ALFF via ROC curves revealed that the right medial frontal gyrus[area under the curve(AUC)=0.9063]and superior frontal gyrus(AUC=0.9097)had better diagnostic value than did the optic disc area(AUC=0.8019),visual field index(VFI%,AUC=0.8988)and macular parameters.CONCLUSION:POAG patients present altered cortical function that is significantly correlated with the optic nerve and retinal thickness and had good diagnostic value, which may reflect the underlying neuropathological mechanism of POAG.

文摘Distributions of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)relaxation times provide detailed information about the water in wood. This study documents the water dynamics analysis of T_(2)and T_(1)distributions for saturated delignified sapwood(DSW),delignified heartwood(DHW)and lignocellulose(LC)samples at different temperatures. Results indicate that below the freezing point of bulk water, free water freezes, causing its signal to disappear from the distribution. Then, the low temperature distributions of the unfrozen bound water contain more information about its components, with DSW,DHW and LC containing two distinct states of bound water(OH bound water(B-water)and more freely bound water(C-water)).Furthermore,it was observed that within the temperature range of−3°C to−60°C,B-water in DSW,DHW and LC maintained a higher unfrozen water content(UWC)value than C-water,and the T_(1)/T_(2)ratios for B-water were consistently higher than that for C-water,indicating that B-water has a greater antifreeze capacity.T_(2)and T_(1)distributions offer different kinds of information about water components, and all peaks within the distribution have been assigned.

文摘Hyperpolarization of nuclear spins is crucial for advancing nuclear magnetic resonance and quantum information technologies,as nuclear spins typically exhibit extremely low polarization at room temperature due to their small gyromagnetic ratios.A promising approach to achieving high nuclear spin polarization is transferring the polarization of electrons to nuclear spins. The nitrogen-vacancy(NV)center in diamond has emerged as a highly effective medium for this purpose, and various hyperpolarization protocols have been developed.Among these, the pulsed polarization(PulsePol)method has been extensively studied due to its robustness against static energy shifts of the electron spin.In this work,we present a novel polarization protocol and uncover a family of magic sequences for hyperpolarizing nuclear spins, with PulsePol emerging as a special case of our general approach.Notably,we demonstrate that some of these magic sequences exhibit significantly greater robustness compared to the PulsePol protocol in the presence of finite half𝜋pulse duration of the protocol,Rabi and detuning errors. This enhanced robustness positions our protocol as a more suitable candidate for hyper-polarizing nuclear spins species with large gyromagnetic ratios and also ensures better compatibility with high-efficiency readout techniques at high magnetic fields.Additionally, the generality of our protocol allows for its direct application to other solid-state quantum systems beyond the NV center.

文摘The brain atlas,or parcellation-delineating spatial partitions, organizes the brain's structure and function[1].The spatial arrangements of highly heterogeneous landscapes represent specialized functional regions for investigating their interactions.Early efforts to parcellate the mammalian brain, using histological cytoarchitecture and myeloarchitecture,as well as recent in vivo magnetic resonance imaging(MRl)[2,3],have primarily involved cortical areas, subcortical structures, and cerebellar nuclei.Human brain parcellations primarily focus on grey matter(GM),which purposefully excludes white matter(WM),hindering the development of next-generation brain atlases.
文摘Conventional multilevel inverters often suffer from high harmonic distortion and increased design complexity due to the need for numerous power semiconductor components, particularly at elevated voltage levels.Addressing these shortcomings, thiswork presents a robust 15-level PackedUCell(PUC)inverter topology designed for renewable energy and grid-connected applications. The proposed systemintegrates a sensor less proportional-resonant(PR)controller with an advanced carrier-based pulse width modulation scheme. This approach efficiently balances capacitor voltage, minimizes steady-state error, and strongly suppresses both zero and third-order harmonics resulting in reduced total harmonic distortion and enhanced voltage regulation.Additionally,a novel switching algorithm simplifies the design and implementation, further lowering voltage stress across switches.Extensive simulation results validate the performance under various resistive and resistive-inductive load conditions, demonstrating compliance with IEEE-519 THD standards and robust operation under dynamic changes. The proposed sensorless PR-controlled 15-PUC inverter thus offers a compelling,cost-effective solution for efficient power conversion in next-generation renewable energy systems.
