According to the property of the moment generating function, the distribution characteristics of the noncoherent integrated signals with or without target presence were derived under the circumstance with noncorrelated Gaussian distribution noises. The loss of noncoherent integration was due to improper selection of integration range of cell numbers. A multi channel noncoherent integration detection scheme where the integration number in each channel va ries was proposed to solve this problem. The quality of this method for detection of various targets was evaluated. A comparison of fixed integration range cell number detection and multichannel inte gration detection for a high range resolution profile was presented. Simulation results indicated that the principle of the method was correct and performed well for unknown physical dimension targets. The method required little prior knowledge about target and was convenient for practical implementa tion.展开更多

Uncertainties that affect aircraft motions cause difficulty in an accurate prediction of the trajec...Conflict Detection and Resolution(CD&R) is the key to ensure aviation safety based on Trajectory Prediction(TP). Uncertainties that affect aircraft motions cause difficulty in an accurate prediction of the trajectory, especially in the context of four-dimensional(4D) Trajectory-Based Operation(4DTBO), which brings the uncertainty of pilot intent. This study draws on the idea of time geography, and turns the research focus of CD&R from TP to an analysis of the aircraft reachable space constrained by 4D waypoint constraints. The concepts of space–time reachability of aircraft and space–time potential conflict space are proposed. A novel pre-CD&R scheme for multiple aircraft is established. A key advantage of the scheme is that the uncertainty of pilot intent is accounted for via a Space-Time Prism(STP) for aircraft. Conflict detection is performed by verifying whether the STPs of aircraft intersect or not, and conflict resolution is performed by planning a conflict-free space–time trajectory avoiding intersection. Numerical examples are presented to validate the efficiency of the proposed scheme.展开更多
We present systematic investigations on the physics,detection performance and inversion of logging-while-drilling extradeep azimuthal resistivity measurements(EDARM).First,the definitions of EDRAM measurements are dis...We present systematic investigations on the physics,detection performance and inversion of logging-while-drilling extradeep azimuthal resistivity measurements(EDARM).First,the definitions of EDRAM measurements are discussed,followed by the derivation of the attenuation and phase-shift geometrical factors to illustrate the relative contributions of formation units to the observed signals.Then,a new definition of detection depth,which considers the uncertainty of inversion results caused by the data noise,is proposed to quantify the detection capability of ED ARM.Finally,the B ayesian theory associated with Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling is introduced for fast processing of EDARM data.Numerical results show that ED ARM is capable of detecting the azimuth and distance of remote bed boundaries,and the detection capability increases with increasing spacing and resistivity contrast.The EDARM tool can accommodate a large range of formation resistivity and is able to provide the resistivity anisotropy at arbitrary relative dipping angles.In addition,multiple bed boundaries and reservoir images near the borehole are readily obtained by using the Bayesian inversion.展开更多
The exploration of building detection plays an important role in urban planning,smart city and military.Aiming at the problem of high overlapping ratio of detection frames for dense building detection in high resoluti...The exploration of building detection plays an important role in urban planning,smart city and military.Aiming at the problem of high overlapping ratio of detection frames for dense building detection in high resolution remote sensing images,we present an effective YOLOv3 framework,corner regression-based YOLOv3(Correg-YOLOv3),to localize dense building accurately.This improved YOLOv3 algorithm establishes a vertex regression mechanism and an additional loss item about building vertex offsets relative to the center point of bounding box.By extending output dimensions,the trained model is able to output the rectangular bounding boxes and the building vertices meanwhile.Finally,we evaluate the performance of the Correg-YOLOv3 on our self-produced data set and provide a comparative analysis qualitatively and quantitatively.The experimental results achieve high performance in precision(96.45%),recall rate(95.75%),F1 score(96.10%)and average precision(98.05%),which were 2.73%,5.4%,4.1%and 4.73%higher than that of YOLOv3.Therefore,our proposed algorithm effectively tackles the problem of dense building detection in high resolution images.展开更多

Secondly, when the detection probability is completely unknown, its probability density function is modeled with a beta distribution, and its posterior probability distribution with the radar observation is derived based on the Bayesian theory. Finally simulation results show that the cued search algorithm with a known RCS fluctuant model can achieve the best performance, and the algorithm with the detection probability modeled as a beta distribution is better than that with a random selected detection probability because the model parameters can be updated by the radar observation to approach to the real value of the detection probability.展开更多

By capturing and analyzing a large number of Beacon frames from different vendor's access points (APs), we summarize the relevant fields and information elements in a Beacon frame, and present their values or status when an AP is set to every specific security mechanism. A detection algorithm of WLAN security mechanisms is proposed based on the experimental study result and the pseudo code of a reference implementation for the algorithm is designed. The validity of the algorithm is illustrated by examples, which shows it can detect every WLAN security mechanism accurately.展开更多
Small-object detection has long been a challenge.High-megapixel cameras are used to solve this problem in industries.However,current detectors are inefficient for high-resolution images.In this work,we propose a new m...Small-object detection has long been a challenge.High-megapixel cameras are used to solve this problem in industries.However,current detectors are inefficient for high-resolution images.In this work,we propose a new module called Pre-Locate Net,which is a plug-and-play structure that can be combined with most popular detectors.We inspire the use of classification ideas to obtain candidate regions in images,greatly reducing the amount of calculation,and thus achieving rapid detection in high-resolution images.Pre-Locate Net mainly includes two parts,candidate region classification and behavior classification.Candidate region classification is used to obtain a candidate region,and behavior classification is used to estimate the scale of an object.Different follow-up processing is adopted according to different scales to balance the variance of the network input.Different from the popular candidate region generation method,we abandon the idea of regression of a bounding box and adopt the concept of classification,so as to realize the prediction of a candidate region in the shallow network.We build a high-resolution dataset of aircraft and landing gears covering complex scenes to verify the effectiveness of our method.Compared to state-of-the-art detectors(e.g.,Guided Anchoring,Libra-RCNN,and FASF),our method achieves the best m AP of 94.5 on 1920×1080 images at 16.7 FPS.展开更多

After ultrasonic extraction for the textile sampl...This paper reported a new analytical method for the simultaneous determination of seven benzotriazole ultraviolet absorbers and seven antibacterial agents in textiles. After ultrasonic extraction for the textile samples in methanol, the solutions were analyzed by ultra-high performance liquid chromotagraphy/orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC/Orbitrap HRMS). It showed that a good chromatographic separation for these target compounds was achieved by a Hypersil GOLD column (100 mm × 2.1 mm × 1.9 μm) with a gradient elution of methanol and 0.1% aqueous formic acid solution (containing 0.5 mmol/L ammonium acetate). Triclosan and 4-chloro-3,5-dimethyl phenol (PCMX) were detected by the orbitrap HRMS in an electrospray ionization (ESI) negative mode while the other twelve target compounds were detected by orbitrap HRMS in ESI positive mode. Full scan experiment was performed over the range from m/z 100 to m/z 500. These target compounds were routinely detected with mass accuracy below 2 × 10-6 (2 ppm) at the optimized conditions. The results showed that the limits of detection (LODs) were in the range from 0.1 to 0.3 μg/kg. The blank samples were spiked at three levels and their average recoveries varied from 80.5% to 96.3% while the relative standard deviation (RSD) changed from 3.2% to 9.9%. The present method was also applied for the determination of those ultraviolet absorbers and antibacterial agents in the commercial textiles.展开更多

METHODS: Polyp detection rates and measures of performance were c...AIM: To compare high resolution colonoscopy (Olympus Lucera) with a megapixel high resolution system (Pentax HiLine) as an in-service evaluation. METHODS: Polyp detection rates and measures of performance were collected for 269 colonoscopy procedures. Five colonoscopists conducted the study over a three month period, as part of the United Kingdom bowel cancer screening program. RESULTS:There were no differences in procedure duration (x^2 p = 0.98), caecal intubation rates (x^2 P = 0.67), or depth of sedation (x^2 P = 0.64). Mild discomfort was more common in the Pentax group (x^2 p = 0.036). Adenoma detection rate was significantly higher in the Pentax group (x^2 test for trend P = 0.01). Most of the extra polyps detected were flat or sessile adenomas. CONCLUSION: Megapixel definition colonoscopes improve adenoma detection without compromising other measures of endoscope performance. Increased polyp detection rates may improve future outcomes in bowel cancer screening programs.展开更多

Compared with some other methods, the experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and has a high accuracy, precision, recall rate and area under curve (AUC) value at the same time, and offers a discriminative and stable recognition performance.展开更多

High-resolution video transmission requires a substantial amount of bandwidth.In this paper,we present a novel video processing methodology that innovatively integrates region of interest(ROI)identification and super-...High-resolution video transmission requires a substantial amount of bandwidth.In this paper,we present a novel video processing methodology that innovatively integrates region of interest(ROI)identification and super-resolution enhancement.Our method commences with the accurate detection of ROIs within video sequences,followed by the application of advanced super-resolution techniques to these areas,thereby preserving visual quality while economizing on data transmission.To validate and benchmark our approach,we have curated a new gaming dataset tailored to evaluate the effectiveness of ROI-based super-resolution in practical applications.The proposed model architecture leverages the transformer network framework,guided by a carefully designed multi-task loss function,which facilitates concurrent learning and execution of both ROI identification and resolution enhancement tasks.This unified deep learning model exhibits remarkable performance in achieving super-resolution on our custom dataset.The implications of this research extend to optimizing low-bitrate video streaming scenarios.By selectively enhancing the resolution of critical regions in videos,our solution enables high-quality video delivery under constrained bandwidth conditions.Empirical results demonstrate a 15%reduction in transmission bandwidth compared to traditional super-resolution based compression methods,without any perceivable decline in visual quality.This work thus contributes to the advancement of video compression and enhancement technologies,offering an effective strategy for improving digital media delivery efficiency and user experience,especially in bandwidth-limited environments.The innovative integration of ROI identification and super-resolution presents promising avenues for future research and development in adaptive and intelligent video communication systems.展开更多

However, in the presence of unexpected modeling errors, the resolution behavior of the FOC-RARE also deteriorate significantly as SOS-RARE, even for a known array covariance matrix. For this reason, the angle resolution capability of the FOC-RARE was theoretically analyzed. Firstly, the explicit formula for the mathematical expectation of the FOC-RARE spatial spectrum was derived through the second-order perturbation analysis method. Then, with the assumption that the unexpected modeling errors were drawn from complex circular Gaussian distribution, the theoretical formulas for the angle resolution probability of the FOC-RARE were presented. Numerical experiments validate our analytical results and demonstrate that the FOC-RARE has higher robustness to the unexpected modeling en'ors than that of the SOS-RARE from the resolution point of view.展开更多

High-resolution approaches such as multiple signal classification and estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT) are currently employed widely in multibeam echo-sounder(MBES)syste...High-resolution approaches such as multiple signal classification and estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT) are currently employed widely in multibeam echo-sounder(MBES)systems for sea floor bathymetry,where a uniform line array is also required.However,due to the requirements in terms of the system coverage/resolution and installation space constraints,an MBES system usually employs a receiving array with a special shape,which means that high-resolution algorithms cannot be applied directly.In addition,the short-term stationary echo signals make it difficult to estimate the covariance matrix required by the high-resolution approaches,which further increases the complexity when applying the high-resolution algorithms in the MBES systems.The ESPRIT with multiple-angle subarray beamforming is employed to reduce the requirements in terms of the signal-to-noise ratio,number of snapshots,and computational effort.The simulations show that the new processing method can provide better fine-structure resolution.Then a highresolution bottom detection(HRBD) algorithm is developed by combining the new processing method with virtual array transformation.The application of the HRBD algorithm to a U-shaped array is also discuss.The computer simulations and experimental data processing results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.展开更多

文摘This paper studies a detection method of targets of high resolution radar operating at the band of millimeter-wave(32-38GHz) under the background of the clutters, and proposes a new nonparametric detection method, which not only does less computation, but also is able to detect multiple extended targets radially distributed along distance "corridor", based on the position (range) correlation information of one-dimensional range images(or called range profiles) of high resolution radar targets. The experimental results, on the real echo data of tank illuminated by the millimeter-wave stepped frequency high resolution radar, have certified that such a method presented in this paper is a very effective detection method for multiple extended targets.

文摘Security mechanism detection is not only an important content of vulnerabilities evaluation but also the foundation of key strength test for wireless local area network (WLAN). This paper analyzes the specifications of WLAN security mechanisms and points out the defects in design of security mechanisms detection algorithm based on the standards. By capturing and analyzing a large number of Beacon frames from different vendor's access points (APs), we summarize the relevant fields and information elements in a Beacon frame, and present their values or status when an AP is set to every specific security mechanism. A detection algorithm of WLAN security mechanisms is proposed based on the experimental study result and the pseudo code of a reference implementation for the algorithm is designed. The validity of the algorithm is illustrated by examples, which shows it can detect every WLAN security mechanism accurately.

文摘Small-object detection has long been a challenge.High-megapixel cameras are used to solve this problem in industries.However,current detectors are inefficient for high-resolution images.In this work,we propose a new module called Pre-Locate Net,which is a plug-and-play structure that can be combined with most popular detectors.We inspire the use of classification ideas to obtain candidate regions in images,greatly reducing the amount of calculation,and thus achieving rapid detection in high-resolution images.Pre-Locate Net mainly includes two parts,candidate region classification and behavior classification.Candidate region classification is used to obtain a candidate region,and behavior classification is used to estimate the scale of an object.Different follow-up processing is adopted according to different scales to balance the variance of the network input.Different from the popular candidate region generation method,we abandon the idea of regression of a bounding box and adopt the concept of classification,so as to realize the prediction of a candidate region in the shallow network.We build a high-resolution dataset of aircraft and landing gears covering complex scenes to verify the effectiveness of our method.Compared to state-of-the-art detectors(e.g.,Guided Anchoring,Libra-RCNN,and FASF),our method achieves the best m AP of 94.5 on 1920×1080 images at 16.7 FPS.
文摘This paper reported a new analytical method for the simultaneous determination of seven benzotriazole ultraviolet absorbers and seven antibacterial agents in textiles. After ultrasonic extraction for the textile samples in methanol, the solutions were analyzed by ultra-high performance liquid chromotagraphy/orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC/Orbitrap HRMS). It showed that a good chromatographic separation for these target compounds was achieved by a Hypersil GOLD column (100 mm × 2.1 mm × 1.9 μm) with a gradient elution of methanol and 0.1% aqueous formic acid solution (containing 0.5 mmol/L ammonium acetate). Triclosan and 4-chloro-3,5-dimethyl phenol (PCMX) were detected by the orbitrap HRMS in an electrospray ionization (ESI) negative mode while the other twelve target compounds were detected by orbitrap HRMS in ESI positive mode. Full scan experiment was performed over the range from m/z 100 to m/z 500. These target compounds were routinely detected with mass accuracy below 2 × 10-6 (2 ppm) at the optimized conditions. The results showed that the limits of detection (LODs) were in the range from 0.1 to 0.3 μg/kg. The blank samples were spiked at three levels and their average recoveries varied from 80.5% to 96.3% while the relative standard deviation (RSD) changed from 3.2% to 9.9%. The present method was also applied for the determination of those ultraviolet absorbers and antibacterial agents in the commercial textiles.

文摘AIM: To compare high resolution colonoscopy (Olympus Lucera) with a megapixel high resolution system (Pentax HiLine) as an in-service evaluation. METHODS: Polyp detection rates and measures of performance were collected for 269 colonoscopy procedures. Five colonoscopists conducted the study over a three month period, as part of the United Kingdom bowel cancer screening program. RESULTS:There were no differences in procedure duration (x^2 p = 0.98), caecal intubation rates (x^2 P = 0.67), or depth of sedation (x^2 P = 0.64). Mild discomfort was more common in the Pentax group (x^2 p = 0.036). Adenoma detection rate was significantly higher in the Pentax group (x^2 test for trend P = 0.01). Most of the extra polyps detected were flat or sessile adenomas. CONCLUSION: Megapixel definition colonoscopes improve adenoma detection without compromising other measures of endoscope performance. Increased polyp detection rates may improve future outcomes in bowel cancer screening programs.

文摘The specification of authorization policies in access control models proposed so far cannot satisfy the requirements in workflow management systems(WFMSs).Furthermore,existing approaches have not provided effective conflict detection and resolution methods to maintain the consistency of authorization polices in WFMSs.To address these concerns,we propose the definition of authorization policies in which context constraints are considered and the complicated requirements in WFMSs can be satisfied.Based on the definition,we put forward static and dynamic conflict detection methods for authorization policies.By defining two new concepts,the precedence establishment rule and the conflict resolution policy,we provide a flexible approach to resolving conflicts.

文摘A numerical simulation model of plenoptic sensor aberration wavefront detection is established to simulate and analyze the detection performance of plenoptic sensor aberration wavefront for different turbulence intensities.The results show that the plenoptic sensor can achieve better distortion wavefront detection,and its wavefront detection accuracy improves with turbulence intensity.The unique optical structure design of the plenoptic sensor makes it more suitable for aberration wavefront detection in strong turbulent conditions.The wavefront detection performance of the plenoptic sensor is not only related to its wavefront reconstruction algorithm but also closely related to its structural parameter settings.The influence of structural parameters on the wavefront detection accuracy of plenoptic sensors under different turbulence intensities is simulated and analyzed.The variation law of wavefront detection accuracy and structural parameters under different turbulence intensities is summarized to provide a reference for the structural design and parameter optimization of plenoptic sensors.

文摘In this paper, we focus on low-resolution human detection and propose a partial least squares-canonical correlation analysis (PLS-CCA) for outdoor video surveillance. The analysis relies on heterogeneous features fusion-based human detection method. The proposed method can not only explore the relation between two individual heterogeneous features as much as possible, but also can robustly describe the visual appearance of humans with complementary information. Compared with some other methods, the experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and has a high accuracy, precision, recall rate and area under curve (AUC) value at the same time, and offers a discriminative and stable recognition performance.
文摘Frame resolution and physical layer (PHY) protocol type detection are the basis of research and development of intrusion prevention systems for IEEE 802.11 wireless network. Aiming at the problems which cannot be solved by the specifications export, this paper proposed a MAC frame analytical method and a PHY protocol type detection algorithm based on parsing the IEEE 802.11packets captured by the library Libpcap. The packet structure and the length of the frame preamble (18 or 26 bytes) are presented. Then the methods of transforming byte-order and resolving sub-fields are given. A detection algorithm of PHY protocol type is proposed based on the experiments and examples are given to verify these methods. This work can be a reference for the R & D related to link layer frame analysis.

文摘High-resolution video transmission requires a substantial amount of bandwidth.In this paper,we present a novel video processing methodology that innovatively integrates region of interest(ROI)identification and super-resolution enhancement.Our method commences with the accurate detection of ROIs within video sequences,followed by the application of advanced super-resolution techniques to these areas,thereby preserving visual quality while economizing on data transmission.To validate and benchmark our approach,we have curated a new gaming dataset tailored to evaluate the effectiveness of ROI-based super-resolution in practical applications.The proposed model architecture leverages the transformer network framework,guided by a carefully designed multi-task loss function,which facilitates concurrent learning and execution of both ROI identification and resolution enhancement tasks.This unified deep learning model exhibits remarkable performance in achieving super-resolution on our custom dataset.The implications of this research extend to optimizing low-bitrate video streaming scenarios.By selectively enhancing the resolution of critical regions in videos,our solution enables high-quality video delivery under constrained bandwidth conditions.Empirical results demonstrate a 15%reduction in transmission bandwidth compared to traditional super-resolution based compression methods,without any perceivable decline in visual quality.This work thus contributes to the advancement of video compression and enhancement technologies,offering an effective strategy for improving digital media delivery efficiency and user experience,especially in bandwidth-limited environments.The innovative integration of ROI identification and super-resolution presents promising avenues for future research and development in adaptive and intelligent video communication systems.
文摘The conflict detection and resolution in collaborative design is a key issue to maintain multi disciplinary design consistency. This paper proposes a new method for conflict detection and resolution based on constraint satisfaction technique. The representation of design constraint, the interval arithmetic of the constraint satisfaction problem CSP and the conflict resolution strategy based on constraint relaxation and adjustment are introduced. A constraint satisfaction based conflict detection and resolution tool CSCDR is then developed. It can help collaborative designers to detect and resolve the conflicts in time in the early stage of the design process so that the unnecessary design iteration and repeated negotiation are avoided and the design efficiency is then much improved. A design case illustrates the effectiveness of CSCDR.

文摘Compared to the rank reduction estimator (RARE) based on second-order statistics (called SOS-RARE), the RARE employing fourth-order cumulants (referred to as FOC-RARE) is capable of dealing with more sources and mitigating the negative influences of the Gaussian colored noise. However, in the presence of unexpected modeling errors, the resolution behavior of the FOC-RARE also deteriorate significantly as SOS-RARE, even for a known array covariance matrix. For this reason, the angle resolution capability of the FOC-RARE was theoretically analyzed. Firstly, the explicit formula for the mathematical expectation of the FOC-RARE spatial spectrum was derived through the second-order perturbation analysis method. Then, with the assumption that the unexpected modeling errors were drawn from complex circular Gaussian distribution, the theoretical formulas for the angle resolution probability of the FOC-RARE were presented. Numerical experiments validate our analytical results and demonstrate that the FOC-RARE has higher robustness to the unexpected modeling en'ors than that of the SOS-RARE from the resolution point of view.

文摘Combined with the printing application,an image registration method based on the multi-resolution morphology contour detection was proposed.First,a direction based multi-resolution gray morphology in the scheme was proposed to realize the contour extraction.Then,based on the contour features,the subspace image registration was proposed to deal with issues of the computing complexity appeared in the traditional image registration methods.The proposed image registration was efficiently applied in the defect inspection of printing images.

文摘High-resolution approaches such as multiple signal classification and estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques(ESPRIT) are currently employed widely in multibeam echo-sounder(MBES)systems for sea floor bathymetry,where a uniform line array is also required.However,due to the requirements in terms of the system coverage/resolution and installation space constraints,an MBES system usually employs a receiving array with a special shape,which means that high-resolution algorithms cannot be applied directly.In addition,the short-term stationary echo signals make it difficult to estimate the covariance matrix required by the high-resolution approaches,which further increases the complexity when applying the high-resolution algorithms in the MBES systems.The ESPRIT with multiple-angle subarray beamforming is employed to reduce the requirements in terms of the signal-to-noise ratio,number of snapshots,and computational effort.The simulations show that the new processing method can provide better fine-structure resolution.Then a highresolution bottom detection(HRBD) algorithm is developed by combining the new processing method with virtual array transformation.The application of the HRBD algorithm to a U-shaped array is also discuss.The computer simulations and experimental data processing results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
