INTRODUCTION The Seebeck effect is a type of thermoelectric(TE)effect that converts heat into electric current in a closed circuit.Thermopower, based on Seebeck effect,is defined as S=ΔV/ΔT,whereΔV is the open-circuit voltage difference caused by charge carriers diffusing from the hot end to the cold end under an appliedΔT across an electronic conductor.1 To achieve high thermopower, numerous methods have been developed in thermoelectric research, most of which focus on charge and phonon transport properties due to their direct relationships. However, the TE performances are often constrained by the coupled intrinsic properties. To overcome these limitations, researchers have begun exploring new degrees of freedom to enhance thermoelectric conversion efficiency and uncover new physics.Spin,as a crucial degree of freedom in condensed matter, plays a significant role in thermoelectric transport in several key aspects.Various reviews have summarized these diverse effects. 展开更多
