The microstructures of pharmaceutical preparations play a pivotal role in determining their critical quality attributes(CQAs),such as drug release,content uniformity,and stability,which greatly impact the safety and e...The microstructures of pharmaceutical preparations play a pivotal role in determining their critical quality attributes(CQAs),such as drug release,content uniformity,and stability,which greatly impact the safety and efficacy of drugs.Unlike the inherent molecular structures of active pharmaceutical ingredients(APIs)and excipients,the microstructures of pharmaceutical preparations are developed during the formulation process,presenting unique analytical challenges.In this review,we primarily focus on presenting the research methods used to elucidate the microstructures of pharmaceutical preparations,including X-ray imaging(XRI),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM),Raman spectroscopy,infrared(IR)spectroscopy,and rheometer technology.Subsequently,we highlight the applications,advantages,and limitations of these methods.Finally,we discuss the current challenges and future perspectives in this field.This review aims to provide a comprehensive reference for understanding the microstructures of pharmaceutical preparations,offering new insights and potential advancements in their development.展开更多

Following a connotation, these two factors there...Dispersed and peripheral spaces in the urban core are influenced both by the trend towards constant growth as well as social ways of life which are constantly evolving. Following a connotation, these two factors therefore play a crucial role in defining the alternation of urban space--in particular, that of the centers. The main focus of this research article is on the methodology used in the survey and evaluation of ＂centralities＂ as well as their developments over the past four decades （1974-2014） in approaches to urban development that has been developed in Graz.~ The analysis has drawn on the four editions （＂evolution＂） of approaches to urban development as conceived by the city of Graz in order to examine their verbal characteristics in regard to centralities. At the same time, the analysis does not examine presentations of plans which exist in supplementary forms （e.g., explanatory reports and supplemented plans）--it restricts itself solely to the various plans set out in the STEKs.2 The highest degree of accuracy has been applied to the notion of ＂centralis＂ in approaches to urban development. The goal of the research project was to depict the modulation of the notion of ＂centrality＂ in the urban context as a space-forming dimension. Furthermore, it clearly shows the extent to which the notion of the ＂centre＂ （in the widest sense of the word） has become distanced from qualitative, spatial development and at the current time of urban development is experiencing a sort of Renaissance. In the field of ＂urban development＂, architectural references in the context of＂centrality＂ have scarcely been researched. This has led to the opening-up of a complex interdisciplinary research field. Many researchers worked a lot on geologic conditions for lateral sealing of faults,but none of their studies took the effect of internal structures of fault zones on the lateral sealing capacity of faults.Therefore,th...Many researchers worked a lot on geologic conditions for lateral sealing of faults,but none of their studies took the effect of internal structures of fault zones on the lateral sealing capacity of faults.Therefore,the lateral sealing of active faults has rarely been discussed.In this paper,based on the analysis of the composition and structure characteristics of fault fillings,the geological conditions for lateral sealing of active faults and relevant research method were discussed in reference to the lateral sealing mechanisms of inactive fault rocks.It is shown that,in order to satisfy geologically the lateral sealing of active faults,the faults should be antithetic and the faulted strata should be mainly composed of mudstone,so that the displacement pressure of fault fillings is higher than or equal to that of reservoir rocks in oil and gas migration block.Then,a research method for the lateral sealing of active faults was established by comparing the displacement pressure of fillings in the fault with that of reservoir rocks in oil and gas migration block.This method was applied to three antithetic faults(F1,F2 and F3)in No.1 structure of the Nanpu Sag,Bohai Bay Basin.As revealed,the fillings of these three active faults were mostly argillaceous at the stage of natural gas accu-mulation(the late stage of Neogene Minghuazhen Fm sedimentation),and their displacement pressures were higher than that of reservoir rocks in the first member of Paleogene Dongying Fm(F1 and F3)and the Neogene Guantao Fm(F2).Accordingly,they are laterally sealed for natural gas,which is conducive to the accumulation and preservation of natural gas.Industrial gas flow has been produced from the first member of Paleogene Dongying Fm in Well Np101,the Guantao Fm in Well Np1-2 and the first member of Paleogene Dongying Fm in Well Np1,which is in agreement with the analysis result.It is verified that this method is feasible for investigating the lateral sealing of active faults.展开更多

Several theoretica...Legal research methods refer to a general term for disciplined and systematic procedures, approaches, means, techniques, and models used by researchers to acquire novel and reliable legal knowledge. Several theoretical debates on the originality of legal research methods go on as follows: Is one legal research method superior to another? Do legal research methods aim for methodological independence? Are legal research methods objective or subjective? Influenced by scientism, positivism is usually considered to be the only reasonable research method, but since law is different from science, only using positivist research approaches is insufficient for solving legal problems. Strictly speaking, a method that is appropriate for the research subject is a reasonable method. As one of the humanities and social sciences, law has similarities with other disciplines in terms of the scope of research;therefore, its research methods could be borrowed from other disciplines. However, law cannot ignore the development of its own unique research methods while retaining its advantages. Legal research methods are supposed to be objective because they should follow scientific standards and have objective arguments, but inevitably, legal research would be subjective and full of value judgments since it means subjective and creative activities of researchers. Of course, the choice of values should preferably be made in the context of value-freeness to ensure the organic combination of value-freeness and value judgment.展开更多

This review study was designed to map out the research trends through an intensive text analysis of 1,366 research articles （RAs） of applied linguistics during the past 40 years （from 1976 to 2015）. RAs were coded...This review study was designed to map out the research trends through an intensive text analysis of 1,366 research articles （RAs） of applied linguistics during the past 40 years （from 1976 to 2015）. RAs were coded and analyzed by four analysts to identify their content of research, research methods, and statistical procedures. It was found that there has been an increase in the number and the average length of articles. The average length has been on the rise from 8.09 pages in 1976-1985 to 14.38 during 2006-2015. The extensive review of the RAs also revealed a broad range of themes that belonged to 34 research domains. SLA, Technology 8： Language Learning, Language Teaching Methodology, Language Testing, and Psycholinguistics were the most widely researched areas. The qualitative method with 33.97% was the dominant research method in the journals. Regarding the statistical techniques, it was illustrated that descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, ANOVA, and t-test were the most commonly used procedures in the applied linguistic RAs.展开更多

However,WRCC has witnessed a rapid development in terms of con...The study of water resources carrying capacity（WRCC）,a major component of resources and environment carrying capacity（RECC）,began relatively recently. However,WRCC has witnessed a rapid development in terms of concept,calculation methods,and empirical research in recent years. WRCC has become an important criterion for rational development and utilization of regional water resources. This paper first briefly reviews the development process of WRCC. It then evaluates and contrasts the representative research methods of conventional trend（CT）,system dynamics（SD）,multi-objective model analysis（MOMA）,comprehensive evaluation（CE）,and dynamic simulation recursive（DSR）. The results show that although there are various methods of WRCC,the major methods used have become out-of-date and stagnant,and new more sophisticated methods and technologies are lacking. Specifically,our analysis found that the index system,scientific robustness and comprehensiveness of evaluation criteria of current research methods are insufficient and need to be improved. In addition,the dynamic research of WRCC should receive more attention,and it requires further study to make it more applicable to real-world uses. Finally,a set of monitoring and early warning systems should be established and applied in demonstration areas to meet the urgent needs of water resource management in the new era.展开更多

文摘Many researchers worked a lot on geologic conditions for lateral sealing of faults,but none of their studies took the effect of internal structures of fault zones on the lateral sealing capacity of faults.Therefore,the lateral sealing of active faults has rarely been discussed.In this paper,based on the analysis of the composition and structure characteristics of fault fillings,the geological conditions for lateral sealing of active faults and relevant research method were discussed in reference to the lateral sealing mechanisms of inactive fault rocks.It is shown that,in order to satisfy geologically the lateral sealing of active faults,the faults should be antithetic and the faulted strata should be mainly composed of mudstone,so that the displacement pressure of fault fillings is higher than or equal to that of reservoir rocks in oil and gas migration block.Then,a research method for the lateral sealing of active faults was established by comparing the displacement pressure of fillings in the fault with that of reservoir rocks in oil and gas migration block.This method was applied to three antithetic faults(F1,F2 and F3)in No.1 structure of the Nanpu Sag,Bohai Bay Basin.As revealed,the fillings of these three active faults were mostly argillaceous at the stage of natural gas accu-mulation(the late stage of Neogene Minghuazhen Fm sedimentation),and their displacement pressures were higher than that of reservoir rocks in the first member of Paleogene Dongying Fm(F1 and F3)and the Neogene Guantao Fm(F2).Accordingly,they are laterally sealed for natural gas,which is conducive to the accumulation and preservation of natural gas.Industrial gas flow has been produced from the first member of Paleogene Dongying Fm in Well Np101,the Guantao Fm in Well Np1-2 and the first member of Paleogene Dongying Fm in Well Np1,which is in agreement with the analysis result.It is verified that this method is feasible for investigating the lateral sealing of active faults.

文摘Legal research methods refer to a general term for disciplined and systematic procedures, approaches, means, techniques, and models used by researchers to acquire novel and reliable legal knowledge. Several theoretical debates on the originality of legal research methods go on as follows: Is one legal research method superior to another? Do legal research methods aim for methodological independence? Are legal research methods objective or subjective? Influenced by scientism, positivism is usually considered to be the only reasonable research method, but since law is different from science, only using positivist research approaches is insufficient for solving legal problems. Strictly speaking, a method that is appropriate for the research subject is a reasonable method. As one of the humanities and social sciences, law has similarities with other disciplines in terms of the scope of research;therefore, its research methods could be borrowed from other disciplines. However, law cannot ignore the development of its own unique research methods while retaining its advantages. Legal research methods are supposed to be objective because they should follow scientific standards and have objective arguments, but inevitably, legal research would be subjective and full of value judgments since it means subjective and creative activities of researchers. Of course, the choice of values should preferably be made in the context of value-freeness to ensure the organic combination of value-freeness and value judgment.

文摘TCM formulae are the important guidances for clinical application of traditional Chinese medicines,which follow the principles of diagnosis and treatment in TCM.Elucidating the bio-active components of TCM formulae is the key to the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicines.With the rapid development of modern instruments and technology,many new theories,methods and strategies are emerging,which upgrade the research of TCM formulae into a higher level.Only when the medicinal efficacy,bio-active components,function mechanism of TCM formulae are understood,we can guarantee TCM safety and quality control.In this paper,we summarized the latest modern research thoughts and methods on bio-active components of TCM formulae including formula decomposition study,serum pharmacology and serum pharmacochemistry,association analysis,biochro-matography,network pharmacology,metabolomics and proteomics,so as to provide reference for the research and development of TCM in the future.
文摘This review study was designed to map out the research trends through an intensive text analysis of 1,366 research articles （RAs） of applied linguistics during the past 40 years （from 1976 to 2015）. RAs were coded and analyzed by four analysts to identify their content of research, research methods, and statistical procedures. It was found that there has been an increase in the number and the average length of articles. The average length has been on the rise from 8.09 pages in 1976-1985 to 14.38 during 2006-2015. The extensive review of the RAs also revealed a broad range of themes that belonged to 34 research domains. SLA, Technology 8： Language Learning, Language Teaching Methodology, Language Testing, and Psycholinguistics were the most widely researched areas. The qualitative method with 33.97% was the dominant research method in the journals. Regarding the statistical techniques, it was illustrated that descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, ANOVA, and t-test were the most commonly used procedures in the applied linguistic RAs.

文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)are functional RNA molecules which are longer than 200 nucleotides in length that do not encode proteins;instead,they regulate target gene expression at transcriptional,posttranscriptional,and epigenetic levels.LncRNAs play important roles in various biological processes such as dosage compensation,genomic imprinting,cell cycle regulation,and cell differentiation.Although their characterizations have been relatively straightforward with recent advances in modern biology,the functions of lncRNAs are largely unknown.Herein,we discuss the biological functions and research methods of lncRNAs.

文摘The study of water resources carrying capacity（WRCC）,a major component of resources and environment carrying capacity（RECC）,began relatively recently. However,WRCC has witnessed a rapid development in terms of concept,calculation methods,and empirical research in recent years. WRCC has become an important criterion for rational development and utilization of regional water resources. This paper first briefly reviews the development process of WRCC. It then evaluates and contrasts the representative research methods of conventional trend（CT）,system dynamics（SD）,multi-objective model analysis（MOMA）,comprehensive evaluation（CE）,and dynamic simulation recursive（DSR）. The results show that although there are various methods of WRCC,the major methods used have become out-of-date and stagnant,and new more sophisticated methods and technologies are lacking. Specifically,our analysis found that the index system,scientific robustness and comprehensiveness of evaluation criteria of current research methods are insufficient and need to be improved. In addition,the dynamic research of WRCC should receive more attention,and it requires further study to make it more applicable to real-world uses. Finally,a set of monitoring and early warning systems should be established and applied in demonstration areas to meet the urgent needs of water resource management in the new era.

Although China has already established a series of occupational disease prevention programs, occupational health risk assessment （OHRA） strategies continue to be a limitation.
