Rescaled Range Analysis(R/S analysis) was employed to investigate the chaos characteristic of N_2/O_2 ratio from a surface borehole in 10416 working face gob, Yangliu Colliery, China. The simulation results show that there is always a circular ‘‘dissipation zone" around the drainage borehole and an elliptic ‘‘spontaneous combustion zone" in deep gob. Little influence was found on spontaneous combustion zone on the intake side of the gob but the width of spontaneous combustion zone in middle gob is enlarged, while the depth of spontaneous combustion zone near the return side is reduced. The R/S analysis indicates that the influence of surface borehole on spontaneous combustion can be divided into two stages by the chaos feature of N_2/O_2: safety drainage stage and spontaneous combustion initiating stage. It can be concluded that the methane drainage from gob through surface borehole can intervene in the distribution of spontaneous combustion zone in gob and the chaos feature of N_2/O_2 from surface borehole can effectively reflect coal spontaneous combustion condition in gob.展开更多

The evaluation results are obtained by analyzing shut-in water hammer pressure signal. The field-sampled water hammer signal is often disturbed by noise interference. Noise interference exists in various pumping stages during water hammer diagnostics, with significantly different frequency range and energy distribution. Clarifying the differences in frequency range and energy distribution between effective water hammer signals and noise is the basis of setting specific filtering parameters, including filtering frequency range and energy thresholds. Filtering specifically could separate the effective signal and noise, which is the key to ensuring the accuracy of water hammer diagnosis. As an emerging technique, there is a lack of research on the frequency range and energy distribution of effective signals in water hammer diagnostics. In this paper, the frequency range and energy distribution characteristics of field-sampled water hammer signals were clarified quantitatively and qualitatively for the first time by a newly proposed comprehensive water hammer segmentation-energy analysis method. The water hammer signals were preprocessed and divided into three segments, including pre-shut-in, water hammer oscillation, and leak-off segment. Then, the three segments were analyzed by energy analysis and correlation analysis. The results indicated that, one aspect, the frequency range of water hammer oscillation spans from 0 to 0.65 Hz, considered as effective water hammer signal. The pre-shut-in and leak-off segment ranges from 0 to 0.35 Hz and 0-0.2 Hz respectively. Meanwhile, odd harmonics were manifested in water hammer oscillation segment, with the harmonic frequencies ranging approximately from 0.07 to 0.75 Hz. Whereas integer harmonics were observed in pre-shut-in segment, ranging from 6 to 40 Hz. The other aspect, the energy distribution of water hammer signals was analyzed in different frequency ranges. In 0-1 Hz, an exponential decay was observed in all three segments. In 1-100 Hz, a periodical energy distribution was observed in pre-shut-in segment, an exponential decay was observed in water hammer oscillation, and an even energy distribution was observed in leak-off segment. In 100-500 Hz, an even energy distribution was observed in those three segments, yet the highest magnitude was noted in leak-off segment. In this study, the effective frequency range and energy distribution characteristics of the field-sampled water hammer signals in different segments were sufficiently elucidated quantitatively and qualitatively for the first time, laying the groundwork for optimizing the filtering parameters of the field filtering models and advancing the accuracy of identifying downhole event locations.展开更多

The mid-frequency dynamic response of the framework-plate structure with uncertainties is studied based on the hybrid FE-SEA method and the Monte Carlo(MC)simulation is performed so as to provide a benchmark comparison with the hybrid method. The energy response of the framework-plate structure matches well with the MC simulation results, which validates the effectiveness of the hybrid FE-SEA method considering both the complexity of the vibro-acoustic structure and the uncertainties in mid-frequency vibro-acousitc analysis. Based on the hybrid method, a vibroacoustic model of a construction machinery cab with random properties is established, and the excitations of the model are measured by experiments. The responses of the sound pressure level of the cab and the vibration power spectrum density of the front windscreen are calculated and compared with those of the experiment. At middle frequencies, the results have a good consistency with the tests and the prediction error is less than 3. 5dB.展开更多

We sampled tree vegetation using the Point Centered Quarter (PCQ) method while understory vegetation was sampled in 1.5-m circular quadrats. Cedrus deodara is the national symbol of Pakistan and was dominant in the sampled communities. Because environmental variables determine vegetation types, we analyzed and evaluated edaphic and topographic factors. DCA-Ordination showed the major gradient as an amalgam of elevation (p〈0.05) and slope (p〈0.01) as the topographic factors correlated with species distribution. Soil variables were the factors of environmental significance along DCA axes. However, among these factors, Mg2+ , K + and N2+ contributed not more than 0.054% 0.20% and 0.073%, respectively, to variation along the first ordination axis. We conclude that the principal reason for weak or no correlation with many edaphic variables was the anthropogenic disturbance of vegetation. The understory vegetation was composed of perennial herbs in most communities and was most dense under the tree canopy. The understory vegetation strongly regulates tree seedling growth and regeneration patterns. We recommend further study of the understory vegetation using permanent plots to aid development of forest regeneration strategies.展开更多

When finding out all the dimensionless variables governing this kind of flow, their physical meanings are subsequently elucidated. Then, a numerical approach of sensitivity analysis is adopted to quantify their corresponding dominance degree among the similarity parameters. In this way, we may finally identify major scaling law in different parameter range and demonstrate the respective effects of viscosity, permeability and injection rate.展开更多

Taking the development of DUS Test Guideline of Ranunculus asiaticus L. as an example, this paper applied statistic-based approaches for the analyses of quantitative characteristics. We selected 9 quantitative characteristics from 18 pre-selected characteristics, based on within-variety uniformity, stability between different growing cycles, and correlation among characteristics, by the analyses of coefficient of variation, paired-samples t-test and partial correlation. The expression ranges of the 9 selected quantitative characteristics were divided into different states using descriptive statistics and distribution frequency of varieties. Eight of the 9 selected quantitative characteristics were categorized as standard characteristics as they showed one peak in distribution frequency of 120 varieties in various expressions of the characteristics, whereas, plant height can be categorized as grouping characteristic since it gave two peaks, and can group the varieties into pot and cut varieties. Finally, box-plot was applied to visually select the example varieties, and varieties 7, 12, and 28 were determined as the example varieties for plant height. The methods described in this paper are effective for the selection of quantitative characteristics, division of expression ranges, and selection of example varieties in Ranunculus asiaticus L. for DUS test, and may also be interest for other plant genera.展开更多

文摘Anthropogenic climate change is altering species distributions globally. While species distributions are expected to shift to higher latitudes and elevations under global warming, empirical evidence on distribution shifts is mixed, and factors mediating the direction and magnitude of range shifts remain unclear.Using a dataset of 132new provincial records for 96 resident bird species from 2000 to 2023,we measured geographic distance, latitudinal shift, and temperature shift from each new record to the historical range for each species to test for poleward shifts. We assessed taxonomic variation in the magnitude of range shifts and used phylogenetic generalized linear mixed models to quantify relationships between species traits and the extent of range shifts. Our results revealed that new records occurred at a mean geographic distance of 420 km from historical ranges, with mean latitudinal shifts of+1.68°(poleward)and temperature shifts of-1.33℃(toward colder climates). The magnitude of geographic range shifts was strongly constrained by phylogenetic relatedness.Habitat breadth, habitat openness, and centroid latitude of historical ranges emerged as significant predictors of range shifts. Our results suggest that resident bird species'geographic ranges in China are shifting poleward, but the magnitude of these shifts is non-random across lineages.Species with broader habitat preferences and those from warmer climates are more likely to shift farther from their historical ranges and toward higher latitudes. This study emphasizes taxonomic variation in species range shifts and highlights the need for species-and site-specific conservation strategies under global warming.

文摘Water hammer diagnostics is an important fracturing diagnosis technique to evaluate fracture locations and other downhole events in fracturing. In this study, the effective frequency range and energy distribution characteristics of the field-sampled water hammer signals in different segments were sufficiently elucidated quantitatively and qualitatively for the first time, laying the groundwork for optimizing the filtering parameters of the field filtering models and advancing the accuracy of identifying downhole event locations.

文摘This paper proposes a reliability evaluation model for a multi-dimensional network system, which has potential to be applied to the internet of things or other practical networks.A multi-dimensional network system with one source element and multiple sink elements is considered first. Each element can con-nect with other elements within a stochastic connection ranges. The system is regarded as successful as long as the source ele-ment remains connected with all sink elements. An importance measure is proposed to evaluate the performance of non-source elements.Furthermore,to calculate the system reliability and the element importance measure,a multi-valued decision diagram based approach is structured and its complexity is analyzed. Finally,a numerical example about the signal transfer station system is illustrated to analyze the system reliability and the ele-ment importance measure.

文摘To take into account the influence of uncetainties on the dynamic response of the vibro-acousitc structure, a hybrid modeling technique combining the finite element method(FE)and the statistic energy analysis(SEA) is proposed to analyze vibro-acoustics responses with uncertainties at middle frequencies. At middle frequencies, the results have a good consistency with the tests and the prediction error is less than 3. 5dB.

文摘We investigated the composition of plant communities to quantify their relationships with environmental parameters in the Chitral Hindukush range of Pakistan. We recommend further study of the understory vegetation using permanent plots to aid development of forest regeneration strategies.

文摘The similarity criterion for water flooding reservoir flows is concerned with in the present paper. When finding out all the dimensionless variables governing this kind of flow, their physical meanings are subsequently elucidated. Then, a numerical approach of sensitivity analysis is adopted to quantify their corresponding dominance degree among the similarity parameters. In this way, we may finally identify major scaling law in different parameter range and demonstrate the respective effects of viscosity, permeability and injection rate.

文摘Selection of quantitative characteristics, division of their expression ranges, and selection of example varieties are key issues on developing DUS Test Guidelines, which are more crucial for quantitative characteristics since their expressions vary in different degrees. The methods described in this paper are effective for the selection of quantitative characteristics, division of expression ranges, and selection of example varieties in Ranunculus asiaticus L. for DUS test, and may also be interest for other plant genera.

文摘The plunger component is a key part of the plunger pump in the aircraft hydraulic system.Neck-spinning process is commonly used to fabricate plunger components,of which the quality of the spinning process significantly affects the performance of plunger pumps. One of the bottlenecks faced by the industry in the spinning process is to choose a suitable neck-spinning process so as to ensure the quality of plunger components. It is necessary to propose a reliable method to optimize the process parameters which affect the neck-spinning quality of plunger components. In this study,a calculable finite element analysis(FEA)model is established to simulate the threeroller neck-spinning process of the plunger component, which includes six typical slipper structures, two roller structures, and two spinning parameters. The FEA model is then validated by comparing the simulated spinning forces with the corresponding experimental results. The influence of the process conditions on the neck-spinning quality is investigated. And the orthogonal simulation results are analyzed by a combination of range method and fuzzy mathematical analysis method to recommend a reasonable slipper structure, roller structure and neck-spinning parameters. This study provides a promising method to improve the manufacturing quality of the typical plunger components.

文摘An evaluation index is a prerequisite for the scientific evaluation of a public meteorological service. This paper aims to explore a technical method for determining and screening evaluation indicators.Based on public satisfaction survey data obtained in Wafangdian,China in 2010,this study investigates the suitability of fuzzy clustering analysis method in establishing an evaluation index.Through quantitative analysis of multilayer fuzzy clustering of various evaluation indicators, correlation analysis indicates that if the results of clustering were identical for two evaluation indicators in the same sub-evaluation layer, then one indicator could be removed,or the two indicators merged. For evaluation indicators in different sub-evaluation layers, although clustering reveals attribute correlations, these indicators may not be substituted for one another.Analysis of the applicability of the fuzzy clustering method shows that it plays a certain role in the establishment and correction of an evaluation index.

文摘Control parameter optimization is an efficient way to improve the endurance of underwater gliders(UGs),which influences their gliding efficiency and energy consumption. This paper analyzes the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle and proposes a segmented control strategy of Petrel-L.The optimization of this strategy is established based on the gliding range model of UG,which is solved based on the approximate model, and the variations of the optimal control parameters with the hotel load are obtained. The optimization results indicate that the segmented control strategy can significantly increase the gliding range when the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle is reached, and the increase rate is influenced by the hotel load. The gliding range of the underwater glider can be increased by 10.47%at a hotel load of 0.5 W.The optimal matching analysis adopted in this study can be applied to other UGs to realize endurance improvement.

文摘Analyses of the soil moisture evolution trend and the influence of different types of radiation on soil moisture are of great significance to the simulation and prediction of soil moisture. In this paper, soil moisture(2–60 cm) and various radiation data from 2014–2015 at the A’rou superstation were selected. The radiation data include the net radiation(NR),shortwave and longwave radiation(SR and LR).Using adaptive fractal analysis(AFA),the long-range correlation(LRC) of soil moisture and long-range cross correlation(LRCC) between moisture and three types of radiation were analyzed at different timescales and soil depths. The results show that:(1) Persistence of soil moisture and consistency between soil moisture and radiation mutate at 18-d and 6-d timescales, respectively. The timescale variation of soil moisture persistence is mainly related to the influence process of radiation on soil moisture;(2) Both the soil moisture persistence and soil moisture-radiation consistency vary substantially with soil depth. The soil depth variation of soil moisture persistence is related to the influence intensity of radiation;(3) From 2–6 day timescales,LR displays the strongest influence on soil moisture at depths of 2–10 cm through negative feedback of radiation on the soil temperature. The influence intensity decreases with depth from 2–15 cm.Therefore, the soil moisture persistence is weak and increases with depth from 2–15 cm;and(4) At more than 6 day timescales,SR and NR display a stronger influence on the soil moisture persistence at depths of 2–40 cm through positive feedback of radiation on the soil temperature, especially at depths of 2–10 cm.This influence also weakens with depth. The soil moisture persistence at depths of 2–10 cm is the weakest and increases with depth from 2–40 cm.The research results are instructive for determining timescales and soil depths related to soil water in hydrological models.

文摘In this paper,a novel intensifying-flux variable flux-leakage interior permanent magnet(IFVF-IPM)machine is proposed,in which flux barriers were designed deliberately between the adjacent poles to obtain intensifying-flux effect and variable flux-leakage property. The rotor topology and design principles of the proposed machine are also introduced. Then,a multi-objective optimization method is adopted based on the sensitivity analysis, and some design variables of IFVF-IPM machine with strong sensitivity are selected to optimization progress by using the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-Ⅱ(NSGA-Ⅱ).Moreover,the electromagnetic characteristics of conventional IPM machine, conventional IFVF-IPM machine(CIFVF-IPM)and the novel IFVF-IPM machine are compared based on the finite element analysis(FEA)method which includes flux linkage, inductances characteristic,torque-speed envelops and power characteristic,as well as evaluation of the risk of irreversible demagnetization. Finally, the experiment results show that the IFVF-IPM machine has a better performance in flux weakening capability for wide speed range and a lower risk of irreversible demagnetization, which indicates the validity and feasibility of the proposed machine.
