文摘After spinal cord injury, impairment of the sensorimotor circuit can lead to dysfunction in the motor, sensory, proprioceptive, and autonomic nervous systems.Functional recovery is often hindered by constraints on the timing of interventions, combined with the limitations of current methods. To address these challenges, various techniques have been developed to aid in the repair and reconstruction of neural circuits at different stages of injury.Notably, neuromodulation has garnered considerable attention for its potential to enhance nerve regeneration, provide neuroprotection, restore neurons, and regulate the neural reorganization of circuits within the cerebral cortex and corticospinal tract. To improve the effectiveness of these interventions, the implementation of multitarget early interventional neuromodulation strategies, such as electrical and magnetic stimulation,is recommended to enhance functional recovery across different phases of nerve injury. This review concisely outlines the challenges encountered following spinal cord injury, synthesizes existing neurostimulation techniques while emphasizing neuroprotection, repair, and regeneration of impaired connections, and advocates for multi-targeted,task-oriented,and timely interventions.

文摘During the oxygen evolution reaction(OER),reconstruction of transition metal sulfides(TMSs)is inevitable. However, the lack of a clear theoretical understanding of this process has impeded the development of effective reconstruction regulation strategies. In this study,we first explored the reconstruction mechanism of CoS_(2)during OER from the perspective of electronic structure and identified two possible pathways:the OH-assisted mechanism and the O-assisted mechanism.Further verification showed that these mechanisms are universally applicable to other TMSs(e.g.,FeS_(2)).Based on the reconstruction mechanism,we investigated the basic reasons for the influence of various regulation strategies, such as vacancy modification and facet engineering,on the reconstruction ability. This verified that the method of analyzing the change in the reconstruction ability of catalysts based on the reconstruction mechanism has a high degree of applicability.Importantly,we proposed a core regulation strategy:the coordination symmetry regulation strategy.Specifically,by breaking the symmetry of the surface coordination environment of TMSs(such as introducing heteroatom doping or strain),the reconstruction process will be facilitated. Our findings provide a comprehensive mechanistic explanation for the reconstruction of TMS catalysts and offer a new idea for the rational design of OER catalysts with controllable reconstruction capacity.

文摘The genus Boechera(Brassicaceae)serves as a model system for studying apomictic reproduction and ecological adaptations, with most species occurring in North America. The rare occurrence of Boechera species outside their typical range provides unique opportunities to investigate genome evolution in extralimital environments. One such species,B.calcarea, has been described from the Chandalaz Mountains in northeastern Asia(Russia). This study aimed to investigate the genome structure and evolutionary history of B.calcarea.However,our analyses reveal that the species does not belong to Boechera.Instead,an integrative approach combining cytogenetic, phylogenetic and repeatome analysis identified the species as a member of one of more ancestral clades in the tribe Arabideae. The diploid Parryodes calcarea(2n=16)exhibits Arabideae-specific chromosomal signatures, including multiple centromere repositionings. These findings clarify the misclassification of P.calcarea as Boechera, leaving Boechera falcata and Borodinia macrophylla as the only representatives of the Boechereae in the Old World. This study highlights the importance of an integrative approach in resolving taxonomic ambiguities and provides new insights into the diversification of the largest cruciferous tribe, the Arabideae.

文摘This study presents a comprehensive phylogenetic analysis on Batrachospermaceae based on key taxonomic identifiers(rbcL,psaA,psbA,and COI-5P)from some genera. To systematically explore the phylogenetic relationships and taxonomy within Batrachospermaceae,we integrated molecular and morphological data, and explored the phylogeny, character evolution, and ancestral geographical origin and provided a theoretical support for the classification and geographic origination of Batrachospermaceae. Our findings reveal distinct relationships within the phylogenetic tree.Notably,10 genera(Sirodotia,Batrachospermum,Tuomeya,Volatus,Lympha,Nothocladus,Torularia,Sheathia,Nocturama, and Petrohua)are closely associated in the rbcL phylogenetic tree.Additionally, four genera(Kumanoa,Hoefkenia,Notohesperus, and Virescentia)exhibit high support ratios, indicating their close interrelations.Other genera, including Paludicola,Visia,Acarposporophycos,Macrosporophycos,Visioidea,Balliopsis, and Psilosiphon, exhibit clustering traits.Furthermore, the multigene sequences provide a robust support for Montagnia that forms a monophyletic group.Ancestral reconstruction of morphological characters identifies nine primitive character states, including whorl, fascicle length, cortical cells, secondary fascicles, the shape of carpogonical branch, spermatangia, carposporophyte, carpogonium and trichogyne, with Visia likely representing ancestral traits in Batrachospermaceae.Furthermore, geographical origin maps suggest a potential common ancestral of Batrachospermaceae origin in the American continent.Additional to conventional analyses, including evolutionary and ancestral reconstruction investigations into key morphological characters,we attempt to reconstruct the biogeography within the Batrachospermaceae, thus contributing to a nuanced understanding of its origin.

文摘AIM:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of decellularized conjunctival stroma(DCS)as a novel biomaterial by comparing its grafting outcomes with amniotic membrane(AM)when used for conjunctival reconstruction after primary pterygium excision.METHODS:This randomized,parallel-controlled study with allocation concealment enrolled 40 patients with primary pterygium.Participants were randomly assigned to two groups using the sealed envelope method:the DCS group(n=20)and the AM group(n=18),receiving DCS and AM grafts respectively.Slit-lamp photography of the operative eyes was performed preoperatively and at 1,3,5,7,10,30,90,and 180d postoperatively.Best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and symptom scores were recorded simultaneously. In vivo confocal microscopy was conducted at 3 and 6mo postoperatively.RESULTS:All participants exhibited improved postoperative symptoms. The mean age was 60±9y(male/female ratio:6/14)in the DCS group and 56±12y(male/female ratio:7/11)in the AM group. The average epithelial healing time was 9.89±3.54d in the DCS group and 8.17±1.34d in the AM group(P=0.084).One recurrence case was observed in each group.Postoperative graft hemorrhage was significantly more severe in the DCS group than in the AM group only at 30d postoperatively(P=0.011).In vivo confocal microscopy revealed conjunctival epithelial cell growth in both groups at 90d postoperatively, while clear corneo-conjunctival cell boundaries were observed until 180d postoperatively.CONCLUSION:DCS used in primary pterygium surgery has a safety profile comparable to AM.It promotes rapid postoperative conjunctival healing, achieves a relatively low pterygium recurrence rate, and yields outcomes similar to AM.DCS provides a novel biomaterial option for conjunctival reconstruction after pterygium excision and the treatment of other conjunctival injuries.

文摘Fracability is a critical indicator for evaluating the exploration and development potential of coalbed methane reservoirs and assessing the effectiveness of hydraulic fracturing stimulation operations. Its core function is to characterize the complexity of the induced fracture network and the resulting effective stimulated volume. In this study,we quantified fracture area and geometric complexity using true triaxial fracturing experiments and computed tomography three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction technology, combined with the box-counting method to calculate the 3D fractal dimension of the fracture surfaces. The results revealed that the total fracture surface area per unit volume of the stimulated reservoir effectively characterized reservoir fracability;specifically, both a larger total fracture surface area and a higher fractal dimension corresponded to better reservoir fracability.Fracture complexity was enhanced by a decrease in the horizontal principal stress difference or an increase in the injection rate.Under optimal conditions of a 3 MPa stress difference and an injection rate of 60 mL/min,fracability improved by 27.6%.Furthermore,liquid carbon dioxide(CO_(2))improved fracability by 50.7%compared to using water as the fracturing fluid,a result attributed to its low viscosity and strong diffusion capacity, which activated a greater number of natural fractures.A fracability evaluation model integrating brittleness, fracture toughness, and dimensionless net pressure was developed using regression analysis, which demonstrated high reliability with a strong determination coefficient(R^(2))of 0.9019.This study clarifies the logical relationships among fracture area, complexity, and fractal dimension, providing a novel method for evaluating the fracability of coal reservoirs.

文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)hold great promise for next-generation energy storage but face challenges such as Zn dendrite growth, side reactions, and limited performance at low temperatures. Here,we propose an electrolyte design strategy that reconstructs the hydrogenbond network through the synergistic effect of glycerol(GL)and methylsulfonamide(MSA),enabling the formation of a(100)-oriented Zn anode. This design significantly broadens the operating current and temperature windows of AZIBs.As a result,Zn||Zn symmetric cells exhibit remarkable cycling stability, achieving 4,000 h at 1 mA cm^(-2)and 600 h at 40 mA cm^(-2)(both at 1 mAh cm^(-2)capacity);even at-20℃,Zn||Zn symmetric cells deliver ultra-stable cycling for over 5,400 h.Furthermore,Zn||VO_(2)full cells retain 77.3%of their capacity after 2,000 cycles at 30°C with a current density of 0.5 A g^(-1)and 85.4%capacity retention after 2,000 cycles at-20°C and 0.25 A g^(-1).These results demonstrate a robust pathway for enhancing the practicality and low-temperature adaptability of AZIBs.

文摘To examine the impact of anthropogenic land reconstruction, particularly the consolidation of small terraces into larger fields,on soil organic carbon(SOC),total nitrogen(TN)dynamics, rice yield, and its components, soil and plant samples were collected from seven newly reconstructed fields in Japanese Andosols in Tochigi,Japan.Samples were obtained from both the former low-and high-elevation sides within each field plot.During harvest season, nine rice plants were randomly selected from each plot(0.675 m^(2),comprising 3 rows and 3 hills per row),collected from a 3-m stretch along both the east(former low side)and west(former high side)ridges.Soil cores were collected from identical plots at two depths(0–15 and 15–30 cm)and combined into one composite sample per layer.Rice plant samples were air-dried for two weeks until reaching constant moisture content, after which stems and ears were separated and weighed to determine biomass, yield, yield components, and nitrogen uptake. This indicated that land reconstruction significantly affected rice yield and its components between the two sides of all field plots.SOC,TN,and their decomposition following land reconstruction showed notable changes, especially in the 15–30 cm subsurface soil layer.Additionally, grain weight demonstrated significant correlation with SOC,TN,and carbon decomposition in both the 0–15 and 15–30 cm layers, indicating that soil fertility to a depth of 30 cm was crucial for rice productivity after land reconstruction.

文摘The moving morphable component(MMC)topology optimization method,as a typical explicit topology optimization method, has been widely concerned. In the MMC topology optimization framework, the surrogate material model is mainly used for finite element analysis at present, and the effectiveness of the surrogate material model has been fully confirmed. However, there are some accuracy problems when dealing with boundary elements using the surrogate material model, which will affect the topology optimization results. In this study,a boundary element reconstruction(BER)model is proposed based on the surrogate material model under the MMC topology optimization framework to improve the accuracy of topology optimization. The proposed BER model can reconstruct the boundary elements by refining the local meshes and obtaining new nodes in boundary elements. Then the density of boundary elements is recalculated using the new node information, which is more accurate than the original model.Based on the new density of boundary elements, the material properties and volume information of the boundary elements are updated.Compared with other finite element analysis methods, the BER model is simple and feasible and can improve computational accuracy. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are verified by comparing it with the optimization results of the original surrogate material model through several numerical examples.
文摘[Significance]In alignment with the national germplasm security strategy, current research efforts are accelerating the adoption of precision breeding in sheep.Within the whole-genome selection, accurate phenotyping of body morphometrics is critical for assessing growth performance and breeding value.Traditional manual measurements are inefficient, prone to human error, and may cause stress to sheep, limiting their suitability for precision sheep management.By summarizing the applications of sheep body size measurement technologies and analyzing their development directions, this paper provides theoretical references and practical guidance for the research and application of non contact sheep body size measurement.[Progress]This review synthesizes progress across three principal methodological paradigms:two-dimensional(2D)image-based techniques,three-dimensional(3D)point cloud-based approaches, and integrated 2D-3D fusion systems.2D methods, employing either handcrafted geometric features or deep learning-based keypoint detector algorithms, are cost-effective and operationally simple but sensitive to variation in imaging conditions and unable to capture critical circumference metrics.3D point-cloud approaches enable precise reconstruction of full animal morphology, supporting comprehensive body-size acquisition with higher accuracy, yet face challenges including high hardware costs, complex data workflows, and sensitivity to posture variability.Hybrid 2D-3D fusion systems combine semantic richness from RGB imagery with geometric completeness from point clouds.Having been effectively validated in other livestock specise,e.g.,cattle and pigs, these fusion systems have demonstrated excellent performance, providing important technical references and practical insights for sheep body size measurement.[Conclusions and Prospects]Firstly, future research should focus on constructing large-scale,high-quality datasets for sheep body size measurement that encompass diverse breeds, growth stages, and environmental conditions, thereby enhancing model robustness and generalization.Secondly, the development of lightweight artificial intelligence models is essential.Techniques such as model compression, quantization, and algorithmic optimization can substantially reduce computational complexity and storage requirements, facilitating deployment in resource-constrained environments.Thirdly, the 3D point cloud processing pipeline should be streamlined to improve the efficiency of data acquisition, filtering, registration, and segmentation, while promoting the integration of low-cost,high-resilience vision systems into practical farming scenarios.Fourthly, specific emphasis should be placed on improving the accuracy of curved-dimensional measurements, such as chest circumference, abdominal circumference, and shank circumference, through advances in pose standardization, refined 3D segmentation strategies, and multimodal data fusion. Finally, the cross-fertilization of sheep body size measurement technologies with analogous methods for other livestock species offers a promising pathway for mutual learning and collaborative innovation, accelerating the industrialization of automated sheep morphometric systems and supporting the development of intelligent,data-driven pasture management practices.

文摘The application of conventional manganese dioxide(MnO_(2))materials in sodium-ion supercapacitors(Na-SCs)is considerably limited by their low conductivity and structural instability.Biomimetic morphology engineering can optimize the electrochemical performance of MnO_(2).Here,based on the metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)-derived method and electrochemical reconstruction,a coral-like MnO_(2)structure integrated with a functional nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)coating is designed for Na-SC application. The bioinspired coral-like structure captures numerous electrolyte ions and increases the Na+concentration on the electrode surface, which is beneficial for optimizing the Na+transport pathway and accelerating the electrode reaction kinetics. Moreover, the coral-like crosslinked structure effectively enhances the mechanical properties, enabling the maintenance of the structure of MnO_(2)-based electrodes during long-term operation.Furthermore,in/ex-situ characterizations are performed to elucidate the mechanism of lattice transformation during electrochemical phase reconstruction.Additionally, the theoretical calculation and simulation results reveal the ion/electron dynamics in the fabricated electrode. The prepared electrode demonstrates excellent capacitance storage ability(340.7 F g^(−1)at 0.5 A g^(−1))and cycling stability(85.1%capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles). The assembled hybrid device exhibits exceptional life-span(82.0%capacitance retention after 10,000 cycles)and exceptional energy density(36.5 Wh kg^(−1)).This study provides a reliable biomimetic morphology design strategy for MnO_(2)cathodes,paving the way for the fabrication of high-performance Na-SCs.

文摘In the context of the coordinated pursuit of"carbon peak and neutrality"objectives, alongside the strategy to establish a robust agricultural nation, the economic and social development of rural areas is undergoing a profound paradigm shift. The traditional rural division of labor pattern, which depends on tangible factors such as land, labor, and capital, has increasingly encountered developmental challenges characterized by diminishing marginal returns and a detrimental cycle of internal competition. The new quality productive force, centered on data, algorithms, green technologies, bioengineering, and clean energy, offers a potential pathway for the rural division of labor system to overcome the"low-level equilibrium".This force is characterized by attributes such as non-exclusivity,replicability,network collaboration, and ecological compatibility. This paper develops a three-dimensional collaborative analytical framework encompassing"technology, institution, and culture".It systematically elucidates the internal logic by which new quality productive forces drive the transformation of the rural division of labor from"quantitative factor matching"to"qualitative structural reorganization"through three principal mechanisms:technology embedding, institutional reconstruction, and cultural coupling.Furthermore, the study proposes corresponding policy recommendations, thereby offering theoretical insights to support the modernization of China s agriculture and rural areas,as well as the development of a strong agricultural country.
文摘Based on the Bismuth-Corlette classification of hilar cholangiocarcinoma, the patients with types I,II,and III can undergo radical resection in the absence of extensive intrahepatic metastasis and vascular invasion[1].Depending on the scope of tumor invasion in bile duct,a combined resection of parts of the liver, hepatic ducts, common bile ducts, regional lymph nodes, and even parts of the duodenum and pancreas is necessary, along with biliary and gastrointestinal reconstructions[2].The surgical plan is complex, involving a large resection area and significant trauma. In recent years, laparoscopic or robot assisted radical resection of hilar cholangiocarcinoma has been applied clinically[3,4].With the advanced laparoscopic equipment, many patients undergo hepatopancreatoduodenectomy successfully[5].The limitations of traditional laparoscopic techniques restrict their wide application in clinical practice. However, the Da Vinci robot has been widely applied due to its clear field of vision and flexible manipulation. However, its utilization in hepato-pancreatoduodenectomy for hilar cholangiocarcinoma is still relatively rare. Here,we report a case with hilar cholangiocarcinoma at clinical stage IIIb who underwent robot-assisted hepato-pancreatoduodenectomy.

文摘We present a prototype for hybrid Compton and positron emission tomography(PET)imaging aimed at enhancing data utilization and enabling concurrent imaging of multiple radiopharmaceuticals. The prototype comprises two detectors that utilize LYSO-SiPM and were available in our laboratory. One detector consists of a 50×50 array of LYSO crystals, each measuring 0.9mm×0.9mm×10mm with 1 mm pitches, whereas the other detector comprises a 25×25 array of LYSO crystals, each measuring 1.9mm×1.9mm×10mm with 2 mm pitches. These detectors are mounted on a rotational stage, which enables them to function as either a Compton camera or a PET detector pair. The 64-channel signals from the SiPMs of each detector are processed through a capacitive multiplexing circuit to yield four position-weighted outputs.Distinct energy windows were used to discriminate Compton events from PET events.Energy resolution and energy-channel relationships were calibrated via multiple sources. The measured average energy resolutions(full widths at half maximum,FWHMs)for the detectors at 511 keV were 17.5%and 15.2%,respectively.The initial experimental results indicate an angular resolution(FWHM)of 8.6◦for the system in Compton imaging mode.A V-shaped tube injected with 18 F solution was clearly reconstructed, which further verified the imaging capabilities of the system in Compton imaging mode. The results of simulation and experimental imaging studies show that the system can detect tumors as small as 1 mm in diameter when working in PET imaging mode.Mouse bone PET imaging was successfully conducted, with the results matching well with the corresponding CT images. This technology holds great potential for advancing the development of physiological function modalities.

文摘Accurate estimation of battery health status plays a crucial role in battery management systems. However, the lack of operational data still affects the accuracy of battery state of health(SOH)estimation. For this reason,a SOH estimation method is proposed based on charging data reconstruction combined with image processing. The charging voltage data is used to train the least squares generative adversarial network(LSGAN),which is validated under different levels of missing data. From a visual perspective, the Gram angle field method is applied to convert one-dimensional time series data into image data. This method fully preserves the time series characteristics and nonlinear evolution patterns, which avoids the difficulties and limited expressive power associated with manual feature extraction. At the same time, the Swin Transformer model is introduced to extract global structures and local details from images, enabling better capture of sequence change trends.Combined with the long short-term memory network(LSTM),this enables accurate estimation of battery SOH.Two different types of batteries are used to validate the test. The experimental results show that the proposed method has good estimation accuracy under different training proportions.

文摘Recycling spent lithium-ion(Li+)batteries is critical for achieving environmental conservation and the strategic recovery of essential resources.Compared with conventional methods for recovering cathode materials, which are energy-intensive and prone to secondary pollution, the direct regeneration approach has emerged as a rapid and highly efficient method, gaining widespread attention in recent years. However, this approach faces major challenges, including degraded electrochemical performances and limited economic value. This study, therefore, proposes a high-value direct regeneration strategy to convert degraded spent LiFePO_(4)(S-LFP)into a gradient manganese(Mn)-doped regenerated LiFe_(0.7)Mn_(0.3)PO_(4)/C(R-LFMP)composite.This method leverages the inherent microcracks and Li vacancies present in S-LFP,likely acting as diffusion channels for the Mn^(2+)/Li^(+)ions.Through a two-step mechanochemical ball-milling and carbothermal reduction process, this approach achieves simultaneous Li replenishment and surface-localised Mn gradient doping with enhanced structural control.Notably, the R-LFMP exhibits an exceptional electrochemical performance. At 0.1 C,it delivers a discharge capacity of 161.4 mA h g^(−1)and an energy density of 563.5 Wh kg^(−1)(representing a 60.5%improvement over S-LFP).Additionally,it maintains 83%capacity retention after 900 cycles at 0.5C,a considerable enhancement compared to commercial LFMP(62%).Furthermore,the regenerated cathode material generates a net profit of$7.102 kg^(−1),surpassing the profitability of conventional recycling methods by 90%.Overall,this study introduces a transformative and sustainable LFP regeneration technology, achieving breakthroughs in electrochemical restoration and high-value recycling, while paving the way for the closed-loop utilisation of LFP-based energy storage systems.

文摘Economical, stable, and corrosion-resistant catalytic electrodes are still urgently needed for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in water and seawater.Herein,a mild electroless plating strategy is used to achieve large-scale preparation of the“integrated”phosphorus-based precatalyst(FeP-NiP)on nickel foam(NF),which is in situ reconstructed into a highly active and corrosion-resistant(Fe)NiOOH phase for OER.The interaction between phosphate anions(PO_(x)^(y-))and iron ions(Fe^(3+))tunes the electronic structure of the catalytic phase to further enhance OER kinetics. The integrated FeP-NiP@NF electrode exhibits low overpotentials for OER in alkaline water/seawater,requiring only 275/289,320/336,and 349/358 mV to reach 0.1,0.5,and 1.0 A cm^(−2),respectively.The in situ reconstructed PO_(x)^(y-)anion electrostatically repels Cl−in seawater electrolytes, allowing stable operation for over 7 days at 1.0 A cm^(−2) in extreme electrolytes(1.0 M KOH+seawater and 6.0 M KOH+seawater),demonstrating industrial-level stability. This study overcomes the complex synthesis limitations of P-based materials through innovative material design, opening new avenues for electrochemical energy conversion.

文摘The angular dependence of magnetoresistance(MR)in antiferromagnetic half-Heusler HoAuSn single crystals has been systematically studied.Negative MR,as large as~99%,is observed at 9 T,is not restricted to the specific configuration of applied magnetics fields and current and can persist up to 20 K,much higher than the Ne'el temperature(T_(N)≈1.9 K).Experiments and first-principles calculations suggest that the observed large negative MR is derived from a magnetic field that reconstructs the band structure and induces a Weyl point, which changes the carrier concentration.

文摘BACKGROUND Inguinal hernias are common after surgery.Tension-free repair is widely accepted as the main method for managing inguinal hernias.Adequate exposure, coverage, and repair of the myopectineal orifice(MPO)are necessary. However, due to differences in race and sex, people’s body shapes vary.According to European guidelines, the patch should measure 10 cm×15 cm.If any part of the MPO is dissected, injury to the nerves, vascular network,or organs may occur during surgery, thereby leading to inguinal discomfort, pain, and seroma formation after surgery. Therefore, accurate localization and measurement of the boundary of the MPO are crucial for selecting the optimal patch for inguinal hernia repair.AIM To compare the size of the MPO measured on three-dimensional multislice spiral computed tomography(CT)with that measured via laparoscopy and explore the relevant factors influencing the size of the MPO.METHODS Clinical data from 74 patients who underwent laparoscopic tension-free inguinal hernia repair at the General Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Science and Technology between September 2022 and July 2024 were collected and analyzed retrospectively.Transabdominal preperitoneal was performed.Sixty-four males and 10 females, with an average age of 58.30±12.32 years, were included. The clinical data of the patients were collected. The boundary of the MPO was measured on three-dimensional CT images before surgery and then again during transabdominal preperitoneal. All the preoperative and intraoperative data were analyzed via paired t-tests.A t-test was used for comparisons of age, body mass index, and sex between the groups. In the comparative analysis,a P value less than 0.05 indicated a significant difference.RESULTS The boundaries of the MPO on 3-dimensional CT images measured 7.05±0.47 cm and 6.27±0.61 cm,and the area of the MPO was 19.54±3.33 cm^(2).The boundaries of the MPO during surgery were 7.18±0.51 cm and 6.17±0.40 cm.The errors were not statistically significant. However, the intraoperative BD(the width of the MPO,P=0.024,P<0.05)and preoperative AC(the length of the MPO,P=0.045,P<0.05)significantly differed according to sex.The AC and BD measurements before and during surgery were not significantly different according to age, body mass index, hernia side or hernia type(P>0.05).CONCLUSION The application of this technology can aid in determining the most appropriate dissection range and patch size.
