Ilmenite is an essential mineral for the extraction of titanium.Conventional physical separation methods have difficulty recovering fine ilmenite,and dressing plants have begun applying flotation to recover ilmenite.The interaction of reagent groups with Ti and Fe sites on the ilmenite surface dramatically influences the ilmenite flotation.However,the investigation on Fe sites has received more attention because the activity of Ti is lower than that of Fe.For the activators on ilmenite flotation,most are metal ions but typically lead ions.The metal ions of activators promote ilmenite flotation by increasing the active sites on the ilmenite surface.Combined reagents have a better selective separation of ilmenite than single reagents due to their synergistic effect.Combining the lead ion(Pb^(2+))and the benzyl hydroxamic acid(BHA)into a Pb-BHA complex has a marked effect on ilmenite flotation,which puts forward a new idea of developing combined reagents for ilmenite flotation.This review considers reagent types and action mechanisms in ilmenite flotation.On the basis of the analysis of previous research,a brief future outlook of reagent types and action mechanisms in ilmenite flotation is also proposed in this study. 展开更多

Reutilization of Remaining Reagents of Several Tumor Items in Roche e801 Electrochemiluminescence

Objective: to reduce the cost of Roche cobase801 luminescent reagent used in the department and study the feasibility of combining the residual reagents of seven different Roche tumor markers. Methods: the sera of 20 hospitalized patients on the same day were collected, and 3-4 reagent bottle of the same item and batch number with reagent interface test number of 0 were collected and mixed into 1 bottle. The results of 20 samples of new reagents and mixed reagents were tested on Roche cobase801, and the test results of the two reagents were compared and analyzed. The quality control of original new reagents and combined reagents was monitored simultaneously using Roches tumor marker controls, PreciControlTumorMarkerLevel1 and PreciControlTumorMarkerLevel2. Results: by detecting AFP (alpha-fetoprotein) \TPSA (total prostate specific antigen) \CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) \CA19-9 (carbohydrate antigen 19-9)\FPSA (free prostate specific antigen) \CA125 (carbohydrate antigen 125)\CA15-3 (carbohydrate antigen 15-3), there was no significant difference between the remaining combined reagent and the original new reagent (p > 0.05). The quality control of the combined reagent with the remaining amount is under control. Conclusion: the residual reagents of Roche cobase801 are well preserved. After 3-4 boxes of the same batch of residual reagents are combined, the quality control can be used as the original reagents under controlled conditions, which can ensure the accuracy of detection results. 展开更多

Effects of size distribution (particle size and content of fine fraction (<10μm)) on scheelite flotation were studied using flotation tests and theoretical calculations. The results show that particle size influences the scheelite recovery and the performance of combined reagents. The scheelite recovery is lowered by adding fine particles (<10μm) into the pulp containing coarse particles. Extended DLVO (EDLVO) theory confirms that the fine fractions (<10μm) could interface with the coarse fractions. The interaction energy and fluid forces are relative to the particle size, which might explain why the fine fractions influence the scheelite flotation. The highest recovery of scheelite using combined reagents as collector and optimum ratio of combined reagents were determined by scheelite particle size and reagent performance. However, the optimum adding order was only determined by reagent performance, which has nothing to do with particle size. 展开更多

In order to overcome the difficulty of extracting gold from gold-bearing sulfide ore by cyanide process flotation was adopted based on mineralogical analysis Mineralogy shows that gold particles are of superfine structure and mainly enclosed by sulfide ores. Primary gold-bearing sulfide ore is fine-grained pyrite and arsenopyrite. The paper describes the effects of ratios and dosage of activators and collectors on the recovery and grade of gold concentrate. A proper flotation flowsheet was then proposed based on experimental condition and closedcircuit test. The gold concentrate with the gold grade of25.14 g ton-1and the recovery of 86.94 % is obtained after one rougher, three cleaners, and four scavengers from fine grinding flotation process. Furthermore, the mechanisms of combined activators and combined collectors were studied by thermodynamic calculation, and structure-activity relationship of flotation reagent was also explained 展开更多
