The visible/near-infrared spectroscopy(VIS/NIRS) wavelength and abundance values can directly reflect the concentrations of chemical substances, and the measurement of meat traits by VIS/NIRS is similar to the processing of genomic selection data by summing all ‘polygenic effects' associated with spectral feature peaks. Therefore, it is meaningful to investigate the incorporation of VIS/NIRS information into GS models to establish an efficient and low-cost breeding model. In this study, we measured 6 meat quality traits in 359Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire pigs from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, and genotyped them with high-density SNP chips. According to the completeness of the information for the target population, we proposed 4breeding strategies applied to different scenarios: Ⅰ, only spectral and genotypic data exist for the target population;Ⅱ, only spectral data exist for the target population;Ⅲ, only spectral and genotypic data but with different prediction processes exist for the target population;and Ⅳ, only spectral and phenotypic data exist for the target population. The 4 scenarios were used to evaluate the genomic estimated breeding value(GEBV) accuracy by increasing the VIS/NIR spectral information. In the results of the 5-fold cross-validation, the genetic algorithm showed remarkable potential for preselection of feature wavelengths. The breeding efficiency of Strategies Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and Ⅳ was superior to that of traditional GS for most traits, and the GEBV prediction accuracy was improved by 32.2, 40.8 and 15.5%, respectively on average. Among them, the prediction accuracy of Strategy Ⅱ for fat(%) even improved by 50.7% compared to traditional GS. The GEBV prediction accuracy of Strategy Ⅰ was nearly identical to that of traditional GS, and the fluctuation range was less than 7%. Moreover, the breeding cost of the 4 strategies was lower than that of traditional GS methods, with Strategy Ⅳ being the lowest as it did not require genotyping. Our findings demonstrate that GS methods based on VIS/NIRS data have significant predictive potential and are worthy of further research to provide a valuable reference for the development of effective and affordable breeding strategies.展开更多

文摘This study investigated the physicochemical properties, enzyme activities, volatile flavor components, microbial communities, and sensory evaluation of high-temperature Daqu(HTD)during the maturation process, and a standard system was established for comprehensive quality evaluation of HTD.There were obvious changes in the physicochemical properties, enzyme activities, and volatile flavor components at different storage periods, which affected the sensory evaluation of HTD to a certain extent. The results of high-throughput sequencing revealed significant microbial diversity, and showed that the bacterial community changed significantly more than did the fungal community.During the storage process, the dominant bacterial genera were Kroppenstedtia and Thermoascus. The correlation between dominant microorganisms and quality indicators highlighted their role in HTD quality.Lactococcus,Candida,Pichia,Paecilomyces, and protease activity played a crucial role in the formation of isovaleraldehyde.Acidic protease activity had the greatest impact on the microbial community.Moisture promoted isobutyric acid generation.Furthermore, the comprehensive quality evaluation standard system was established by the entropy weight method combined with multi-factor fuzzy mathematics.Consequently, this study provides innovative insights for comprehensive quality evaluation of HTD during storage and establishes a groundwork for scientific and rational storage of HTD and quality control of sauce-flavor Baijiu.

文摘The high labor demand during rice seedling cultivation and transplantation poses a significant challenge in advancing machine-transplanted rice cultivation. This problem may be solved by increasing the seeding rate during seedling production while reducing the number of seedling trays. This study conducted field experiments from 2021 to 2022,using transplanting seedling ages of 10 and 15 days to explore the effects of 250,300,and 350 g/tray on the seedling quality, mechanical transplantation quality, yields, and economic benefits of rice. The commonly used combination of 150 g/tray with a 20-day seedling age in rice production was used as CK.The cultivation of seedlings under a high seeding rate and short seedling age significantly affected seedling characteristics, but there was no significant difference in seedling vitality compared to CK.The minimum number of rice trays used in the experiment was observed in the treatment of 350-10(300 g/tray and 10-day seedling age),only 152-155 trays ha^(-1),resulting in a 62%reduction in the number of trays needed.By increasing the seeding rate of rice, missed holes during mechanical transplantation decreased by 2.8 to 4%.The treatment of 300-15(300 g/tray and 15-day seedling age)achieved the highest yields and economic gains. These results indicated that using crop straw boards can reduce the application of seedling trays. On that basis, rice yields can be increased by raising the seeding rate and shortening the seedling age of rice without compromising seedling quality.

文摘The principle of genomic selection(GS) entails estimating breeding values(BVs) by summing all the SNP polygenic effects. Our findings demonstrate that GS methods based on VIS/NIRS data have significant predictive potential and are worthy of further research to provide a valuable reference for the development of effective and affordable breeding strategies.

文摘Power quality is a crucial area of research in contemporary power systems, particularly given the rapid proliferation of intermittent renewable energy sources such as wind power. This study investigated the relationships between power quality indices of system output and PSD by utilizing theories related to spectra,PSD,and random signal power spectra. The relationship was derived, validated through experiments and simulations, and subsequently applied to multi-objective optimization.Various optimization algorithms were compared to achieve optimal system power quality. The findings revealed that the relationships between power quality indices and PSD were influenced by variations in the order of the power spectral estimation model. An increase in the order of the AR model resulted in a 36%improvement in the number of optimal solutions.Regarding optimal solution distribution,NSGA-II demonstrated superior diversity, while MOEA/D exhibited better convergence. However, practical applications showed that while MOEA/D had higher convergence,NSGA-II produced superior optimal solutions, achieving the best power quality indices(THDi at 4.62%,d%at 3.51%,and cosφat 96%).These results suggest that the proposed method holds significant potential for optimizing power quality in practical applications.

文摘Osteoporosis represents a prevalent and debilitating comorbidity in patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM),which is characterized by suppressed osteoblast function and disrupted bone microarchitecture. In this study,we utilized male C57BL/6 J mice to investigate the role of SIRT3 in T2DM.Decreased SIRT3 expression and impaired mitochondrial quality control mechanism are observed in both in vitro and in vivo models of T2DM.Mechanistically,SIRT3 suppression results in hyperacetylation of FOXO3,hindering the activation of the PINK1/PRKN mediated mitophagy pathway and resulting in accumulation of dysfunctional mitochondria.Genetical overexpression or pharmacological activation of SIRT3 restores deacetylation status of FOXO3,thus facilitating mitophagy and ameliorating osteogenic impairment in T2DM.Collectively,our findings highlight the fundamental regulatory function of SIRT3 in mitochondrial quality control, crucial for maintaining bone homeostasis in T2DM.These insights not only enhance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetic osteoporosis but also identify SIRT3 as a promising therapeutic target for diabetic osteoporosis.

文摘To explore water level variations and their dynamic influence on the water quality of Huayang Lakes, the water level from 1967 to 2023 and water quality from 2015 to 2023 were analyzed using the Mann–Kendall trend test, box plots, and violin plots. The results show a notable hydrological rhythm of water level alternation between dry and flood seasons in Huayang Lakes, with an average water level of 12.82 m and a monthly range of 11.21–17.24m.Since 2017,the water level of Huayang Rivers has shown a decreasing trend of–0.02 m/a.Total phosphorus(TP)has become the primary pollutant. The TP concentrations in Longgan Lake(the largest lake)during the dry, rising, flood, and retreating seasons from 2015 to 2023were 0.083,0.061,0.050,and 0.059 mg/L,respectively.The effect of water level on TP was mainly observed during the low-water period. When the water level in the dry season rose to 12.25 and 13.00 m,the percentage of TP exceeding 0.1 mg/L in Longgan Lake decreased to 55.8%and 33.3%,respectively.During the dry season, wind and wave disturbances caused the release of endogenous phosphorus in Huayang Lakes. This led to drastic fluctuations in TP concentration, reducing the correlation between water level and TP.When external control is limited, the water level during the dry season should be maintained between 12.25 and 13.0 m.Additionally,it is necessary to accelerate the restoration of submerged macrophyte species(such as Hydrilla verticillata and Vallisneria natans)in the Huayang Rivers.
