文摘Accurate retrieval of atmospheric vertical profiles is critical for improving weather prediction and climate monitoring. However, the complexity of atmospheric processes in cloudy regions poses challenges compared to those of clear sky scenarios. This study presents a novel framework that integrates Bayesian optimization and machine learning approaches to retrieve atmospheric vertical profiles—including temperature, humidity, ozone concentration, cloud fraction, ice water content(IWC),and liquid water content(LWC)—from hyperspectral infrared observations.Specifically,a Bayesian method was used to refine ERA5 reanalysis data by minimizing brightness temperature(BT)discrepancies against FY-4B Geostationary Interferometric Infrared Sounder(GIIRS)observations, generating a high-quality profile database(~2.8 million profiles)across diverse weather systems. The optimized profiles improve radiative consistency, reducing BT biases from>40 K to<10 K in cloudy regions. To further overcome the limitations of the Bayesian method,we developed a Transformer-Resnet hybrid model(TERNet),which achieved superior performance with RMSE values of 1.61 K(temperature),5.77%(humidity),and 2.25×10^(–6)/6.09×10^(–6)kg kg^(–1)(IWC/LWC)across the entire vertical levels in all-sky conditions. The TERNet outperforms both ERA5 in cloud parameter retrieval and the GIIRS L2 product in thermodynamic profiling.Independent verification with radiosonde and Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observations(CALIPSO)datasets confirms the framework's reliability across various meteorological regimes. This work demonstrates the capability of combining physics-informed Bayesian methods with data-driven machine learning to fully exploit hyperspectral IR data.

文摘The protein corona formation has been reported to influence the liposomes’behavioral performance in vivo.Accordingly, the effect of physiologically relevant inorganic ion pairs(sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, magnesium chloride, and magnesium sulfate)was investigated.Bovine serum albumin(BSA)was selected as the model protein.Parameters including particle size and zeta potential were assessed, while various spectroscopic techniques were utilized to elucidate the changes in BSA during its interaction with liposomes. The particle size and light intensity distribution changes indicated that the introduction of inorganic pairs, especially the metal cations, could significantly influence both the adsorption of BSA and the aggregation of particles.Furthermore, spectral characterization elucidated that BSA exhibited more extended peptide chains with enhanced exposure to hydrophobic acid amino residues upon adding ion pairs.Electrostatic adsorption and chelation insertion were proposed as metal ion binding modes and the corresponding BSA corona formation. In the electrostatic adsorption mode, sodium ions can enhance the electrostatic interactions, facilitating the“connection”between BSA and liposomes.Magnesium ions can induce stronger hydrophobic interactions through chelation, effectively“drag”BSA segments into the lipid bilayer. This work highlighted important physiological factors for protein-liposome interaction and provided rational model constructions to lay the foundation for further relevant studies.

文摘Head-splitting is a prevalent physiological disorder in cabbage that causes substantial economic losses. However, the genetic factors and molecular mechanisms underlying head-splitting resistance remain largely unexplored. This study identified a genomic region(q NLQ3.1) for head-splitting resistance on chromosome C03 through the combination of QTLseq and GPS analysis in an F_(2) population derived from hybridizing two cabbage inbred lines,‘Dazhengfu'(ZF,susceptible) and ‘103'(resistant).Traditional genetic linkage analysis narrowed q NLQ3.1 to a 74.6 kb region.Furthermore, comparative analysis of the two parental lines using transcriptomic and metabolic profiling demonstrated the crucial role of hormones in regulating head-splitting resistance.Bol028000,encoding a homologue of Arabidopsis Cytokinin Response Factor 3(CRF3),emerged as a promising candidate for head-splitting resistance and was subsequently validated through Sanger sequencing and quantitative RT-PCR(qRT-PCR).Subcellular localisation analysis revealed that Bol028000 was mainly expressed in the nucleus.Additionally, one kompetitive allele-specific PCR(KASP) marker from Bol028000 was developed and utilized to screen 42 inbred lines. These findings enhance the theoretical understanding of head-splitting resistance and provide valuable insights for the molecular breeding of head-splitting resistant cabbages.

文摘Background:Exposure to environmental vulnerability poses significant threats to adolescent suicidal ideation, while individual resilience can mitigate these adverse effects with notable gender commonalities and differences. However, research examining how these factors co-configure at the individual level remains limited, particularly from a gender-specific perspective. Thus, the present study aims to adopt a person-centered analytic approach to identify gender-specific configurations of environmental vulnerability and individual resilience associated with suicidal ideation among Chinese adolescents. Methods:Data were collected from 2616 Chinese primary and secondary school students(aged 10–17;1223 girls).Participants completed validated scales measuring environmental vulnerability, individual resilience, and suicidal ideation.Latent profile analysis(LPA)was conducted separately by gender. Results:Gender differences were prominent:males exhibited higher resilience and lower suicidal ideation, while females reported higher environmental vulnerability and elevated levels of suicidal ideation.LPA identified three distinct profiles for males:Low Vulnerable–High Protective–Low Risk(LHL),Medium Vulnerable–Low Protective–Low Risk(MLL),and High Vulnerable–Low Protective–High Risk(HLH).Four profiles emerged for females:LHL,MLL,Medium Vulnerable–Low Protective–Medium Risk(MLM),and HLH.Crucially, within the HLH profile, males exhibited particularly deficient humor(η^(2)=0.19)and confidence(η^(2)=0.16),while females formed a distinct subgroup characterized by severe academic and family stressors(η^(2)=0.30–0.36).Conclusion:The study underscores developing gender-specific mental health interventions using a nuanced,person-centered approach that considers both environmental risk and individual resilience factors, which allows for targeted suicide prevention strategies addressing the unique needs of male and female adolescents.
文摘In order to eliminate the meshing interference between the flexspline and circular spline after the taper deformation of the flexspline, the radial deformation difference method, major and minor axis fitting method, and ellipse fitting method are used to modify the tooth thickness of the flexspline and analyze the performance indexes such as the assembly stress, transmission error, and fatigue life.Firstly, the conjugate tooth profile is solved based on the quadruple-circular-arc tooth profile and modified kinematic method. Then, based on the finite element radial deformation of the flexspline, the principle and characteristics of three modification methods are analyzed, and the modification amount of each section of the flexspline tooth is calculated. Finally, the influence of the three modification methods on the performance of the harmonic drive is compared. The results show that the radial deformation difference method can initially determine the modification amount. The minimum static assembly stress is 406.22 MPa by the major and minor axis fitting method. The ellipse fitting method has the best dynamic performance, small transmission error fluctuation,a peak-to-peak value of 3.060",and a maximum fatigue life of 10^(7.558)cycles.
文摘Objective:To evaluate and compare coagulation and hematological parameters in hypertensive and normotensive pregnant women. Methods:This present cross-sectional study was carried out in the Departments of Pathology and Obstetrics&Gynaecology at Dr.D.Y.Patil Medical College,Hospital&Research Centre,Pimpri,Pune,India from September 2023 to March 2025.Hematological parameters[platelet count, mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet distribution width(PDW)]were analyzed using an automated hematology analyzer, while coagulation parameters[prothrombin time(PT)/international normalised ratio, activated partial thromboplastin time(aPTT),and D-dimer]were assessed by standard automated assays. Results were compared between normotensive and hypertensive groups and correlated with disease severity. Results:The study included 212 antenatal females, with 106 normotensive pregnant women and 106 hypertensive women.Hypertensive women include cases of gestational hypertension(n=55);mild preeclampsia(n=39),and severe preeclampsia(n=12).A significant progressive decrease in platelet count and significant increases in MPV,PDW,PT,aPTT,and D-dimer levels were associated with increasing severity of pregnancy-induced hypertension(P<0.001).Women with severe preeclampsia had the lowest mean platelet counts and the highest coagulation parameter values compared to women with gestational hypertension, mild preeclampsia, and normotensive pregnancies. These findings indicate enhanced platelet activation, endothelial dysfunction, and activation of the coagulation–fibrinolytic system with worsening disease severity. Conclusions:Significant hematologic and coagulation abnormalities were present in women with pregnancy-induced hypertension. For better maternal-fetal outcomes and early management, routine monitoring is essential.

文摘Small extracellular vesicles(sEVs)membrane protein profile(sEVpp)is a novel biomarker for cancer, and it can reveal the in-depth phenotype information. The point-of-care testing(POCT)of sEVpp holds great significance for mass screening of cancer,so the cost-effective and simple detection methods of sEVpp are urgently demanded.Herein,we constructed a paper-based multichannel sEVpp POCT device(sEVpp-PAD)enabled by functional DNA probes and metal-organic framework(MOF).The core components are aptamer/MOF-modified paper chips. The modified aptamers can immunocapture the sEV expressing corresponding proteins, while the modified MOF can provide abundant sites for aptamer-modification,reduce the nonspecific protein absorption, and act as reference for ratiometric detection.Simply powered by two syringes, the sEVpp-PAD can efficiently capture sEVs expressing corresponding protein from cell culture media and sera.Furthermore,a detection probe(DP)consisted of CD63 aptamer and G-quadruplex was developed for the colorimetric detection of captured sEVs.Utilizing this device, the sEVpp in various hepatocellular carcinoma cell culture medium and, more importantly,in human sera can be accurately determined, only with$2 device,$0.2 detection reagents and 1.8 h procedure. This simple strategy for sEVpp detection can innovatively promote the POCT and subtyping of cancer based on sEV-related liquid biopsy.

文摘Translation is a crucial step in gene expression.Over the past decade, the development and application of ribosome profiling(Ribo-seq)have significantly advanced our understanding of translational regulation in vivo. However, the analysis and visualization of Ribo-seq data remain challenging.Despite the availability of various analytical pipelines, improvements in comprehensiveness, accuracy, and user-friendliness are still necessary. In this study,we develop RiboParser/RiboShiny,a robust framework for analyzing and visualizing Ribo-seq data.Building on published methods,we optimize ribosome structure-based and start/stopbased models to improve the accuracy and stability of P-site detection, even in species with a high proportion of leaderless transcripts.Leveraging these improvements,RiboParser offers comprehensive analyses, including quality control,gene-level analysis,codon-level analysis, and the analysis of Ribo-seq variants.Meanwhile,RiboShiny provides a user-friendly and adaptable platform for data visualization, facilitating deeper insights into the translational landscape.Furthermore, the integration of standardized genome annotation renders our platform universally applicable to various organisms with sequenced genomes. This framework has the potential to significantly improve the precision and efficiency of Ribo-seq data interpretation, thereby deepening our understanding of translational regulation.
文摘Male breast cancer(MBC)is rare, representing 0.5%–1%of all breast cancers, but its incidence is increasing due to improved diagnostics and awareness.MBC typically presents in older men,is human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-negative and estrogen receptor(ER)-positive,and lacks routine screening, leading to delayed diagnosis and advanced disease.Major risk factors include hormonal imbalance, radiation exposure, obesity, alcohol use,and Breast Cancer Gene 1 and 2(BRCA1/2)mutations.Clinically,it may resemble gynecomastia but usually appears as a unilateral, painless mass or nipple discharge.Advances in imaging and liquid biopsy have enhanced early detection.Molecular mechanisms involve hormonal signaling,HER2/epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)pathways, tumor suppressor gene alterations, and epigenetic changes. While standard treatments mirror those for female breast cancer, emerging options such as cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6(CDK4/6),and poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase(PARP)inhibitors,immunotherapy,and precision medicine are reshaping management.Incorporating artificial intelligence, molecular profiling, and male-specific clinical trials is essential to improve outcomes and bridge current diagnostic and therapeutic gaps.

文摘In real industrial microgrids(MGs),the length of the primary delivery feeder to the connection point of the main substation is sometimes long. This reduces the power factor and increases reactive power absorption along the primary delivery feeder from the external network.Besides, the giant induction electro-motors as the working horse of industries requires remarkable amounts of reactive power for electro-mechanical energy conversions. To reduce power losses and operating costs of the MG as well as to improve the voltage quality, this study aims at providing an insightful model for optimal placement and sizing of reactive power compensation capacitors in an industrial MG.In the presented model, the objective function considers voltage profile and network power factor improvement at the MG connection point. Also,it realizes power flow equations within which all operational security constraints are considered.Various reactive power compensation strategies including distributed group compensation, centralized compensation at the main substation, and distributed compensation along the primary delivery feeder are scrutinized.A real industrial MG,say as Urmia Petrochemical plant,is considered in numerical validations. The obtained results in each scenario are discussed in depth. As seen, the best performance is obtained when the optimal location and sizing of capacitors are simultaneously determined at the main buses of the industrial plants,at the main substation of the MG,and alongside the primary delivery feeder. In this way,74.81%improvement in power losses reduction,1.3%lower active power import from the main grid,23.5%improvement in power factor, and 37.5%improvement in network voltage deviation summation are seen in this case compared to the base case.

文摘We investigated the morphology and sedimentary state of an extensive modern canyon system on the northwest continental slope of Palawan Island in the southern South China Sea using multibeam bathymetry data and chirp sub-bottom profiles. The canyon system in Northwest Palawan consists of a fairly large dendritic canyon,a braided canyon, and a set of short, straight, and slope-confined gullies. The erosion state covers 71%of the system.Sediment accumulates downstream of the bend's inner side in the proximal main stem of the dendritic canyon and is eroded in its outer side.In the distal main stem, sediment is deposited inside and outside the bend.In most of the system's tributaries, decreasing slope gradients result in more sediment deposition. There is thick aggradation of sediment waves in the interfluve throughout the system, which exhibit increasing levels of stratification as the slope decreases. The lack of slump scars and headward erosion at the canyon heads,as well as the presence of regular gullies and sediment wave fields, suggest that large areas of unconfined downslope turbidity currents formed the system. We propose that frequent storms in northwestern Palawan triggered these currents by resuspending sediments on the shelf.

文摘BACKGROUND Paternal perinatal depression(PPD)is closely associated with maternal mental health challenges, marital strain, and adverse child developmental outcomes.Despite its significant impact,PPD remains under-recognized in family-centered clinical practice.Concurrently, against the backdrop of rising rates of delayed marriage and China’s Maternity Incentive Policy, the proportion of women giving birth at an advanced maternal age is increasing.Nevertheless, research specifically examining PPD among spouses of older mothers remains critically scarce, both in China and globally.AIM To investigate PPD and its influencing factors in Chinese advanced maternal age families.METHODS This cross-sectional study included 358 participants;it was conducted among fathers of pregnant women of advanced maternal age at five hospitals in the Pearl River Delta region of China from September 2023 to June 2024.Data were collected via a general information questionnaire, the Social Support Rating Scale, and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale.Latent profile analysis and regression mixture models(RMMs)were adopted to analyze the latent PPD types and factors that influenced PPD.RESULTS The incidence of PPD was 16.48%,and three profiles were identified:Low-symptomatic(175 cases,48.89%),monophasic(140 cases,39.10%),and high-symptomatic(43 cases,12.01%).The RMM analysis revealed that first pregnancy, low income(<¥3000/month),part-time work, and a history of abnormal pregnancy were positively associated with the high-symptomatic type(P<0.05).Conversely,high subjective support and support utilization were negatively associated with the high-symptomatic type compared with the low-symptomatic type(P<0.05).Good couple relationships, high objective and subjective support, and high support utilization were negatively associated with monophasic disorder(P<0.05).CONCLUSION PPD incidence is high among Chinese fathers with advanced maternal age partners, and the characteristics of depression are varied.Healthcare practitioners should prioritize individuals with low levels of social support.

文摘Quasi-hemispherical magnetized collisionless shocks have been generated at the SG-II laser facility through the interaction between a laserproduced supersonic plasma flow and a magnetized ambient plasma, exhibiting an angular asymmetric shock profile accompanied by asymmetric ion acceleration. We have conducted test particle simulations using the electromagnetic fields derived from 2D MHD simulations to investigate the asymmetry of ion acceleration. The simulations reproduce the angular asymmetry of the shock and the ion acceleration observed in experiments. The results indicate that shock drift acceleration is the primary mechanism for ion energization in the present quasiperpendicular magnetized shock. The asymmetric shock structure caused by nonuniform ambient plasma forms an asymmetric accelerated electric field, ultimately leading to angular asymmetric ion acceleration, which is consistent with space observations and our experimental results. Our study provides a plausible explanation for the discrepancies reported in previous ion acceleration experiments, and could contribute to understanding of the collisionless shock acceleration.

文摘Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder-related optic neuritis involves various cellular responses to inflammation and degeneration. In most patients, the primary mechanism underlying neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder-related optic neuritis is the interaction of aquaporin-4 antibodies with the aquaporin-4 protein present on astrocytes within posterior optic nerve. This binding subsequently initiates a cascade of events leading to secondary demyelination of the optic nerve, ultimately culminating in optic nerve degeneration.Earlier studies on this disorder primarily used systemic-induced animal models, which often require prior activation of a systemic immune response. This can result in primary demyelination of the optic nerve, complicating the interpretation of experimental results.Such methodologies hinder the ability to isolate immune responses triggered by specific antibodies.Additionally, the lack of a detailed profile of disease progression over time limits our capacity to identify potential intervention windows. Therefore, constructing a targeted optic neuritis animal model induced by specific antibodies and elucidate the disease progression arecrucial for exploring the mechanisms underlying neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder-related optic neuritis. In this study, specific antibodies against aquaporin-4 were precisely injected into the retrobulbar optic nerve of mice to induce a targeted inflammatory response in the posterior optic nerve, resulting in a more representative mouse model of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder-related optic neuritis than current models. The progression of the disease was then dynamically observed from both histological and functional perspectives over the course of 1 month following the induction of inflammation.By the first week, astrocytes were damaged,as evidenced by the loss of aquaporin-4 and glial fibrillary acidic protein, the activation of microglia, and the upregulation of microglia-related cytokines, including tumor necrosis factor,interleukin-6,interleukin-1β,C-X-C motif ligand 10,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor.Starting from the second week, there were signs of optic nerve demyelination and significant damage to axonal fibers and retinal ganglion cell bodies.Visual-evoked potentials and dark adaptation threshold responses in electroretinogram both indicated dysfunction in the visual pathway and retina, while optical coherence tomography revealed thinning of the retinal nerve fiber layer in live mice.In summary,in this study we conducted a dynamic exploration of the occurrence and progression of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder-related optic neuritis triggered by specific antibodies. Our results show pathological changes at various stages and correlate histological and molecular alterations with in vivo structural and functional deterioration. The findings from this study lay an important foundation for further research on neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder-related optic neuritis.
