Using data from survey of agricultural surplus labor in 2012, which covered three provinces in northern, midwestem and southern parts of China, this paper analyzed the influential factors on agricultural surplus labor professionalization by adoption of a logistic regression model. It showed that agricultural surplus labor shortage could be explained by low-quality professionalization. It was a feasible and effective way to solve the issue of workforce shortage during economic downturn by improving agricultural surplus labor's professionalization.展开更多

Through a mixed-methods approach combining experimental design and qualitative analysis (N = 120), we examine how AI intermediaries influence communication dynamics, relationship building, and decision-making processes. Results indicate that while AMC initially creates barriers to trust formation, it ultimately leads to enhanced communication outcomes and stronger professional relationships when implemented with appropriate transparency and support. The study revealed a 31% improvement in cross-cultural understanding and a 24% increase in negotiation satisfaction rates when using AI-mediated channels with proper transparency measures. These findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of technology-mediated communication and practical applications for organizations implementing AI communication tools.展开更多

文摘Higher education is at the top of the educational hierarchy. With the booming development of the economy and society in China, its scale is also expanding greatly.Professional course teaching is a key component of higher education, and it plays a vital role in cultivating professionalism and even the overall level of students.According to several problems existing in the current teaching practice of professional courses at our universities,in order to improve the teaching quality to meet the requirements in the emerging engineering era, related strategies and approaches for teaching reform are proposed as follows.Firstly,we advance the traditional classroom teaching into the modern one with equal double-subjects of teachers and students to cultivate the active and comprehensive learning ability of students.Secondly, the scientific research practice-oriented teaching method is introduced, and it contributes to connecting theory with engineering practice for students.Thirdly, the diversified course assessment system is explored, and a closed-loop quality control strategy is discussed on the basis of a questionnaire survey and face-to-face interview.By questionnaires and final assessments,it is clear that teaching qualities of related professional courses are satisfactory in recent years, and the methods and strategies can be widely applied to the teaching practice of other courses.
文摘This study examined the relationships among workplace spirituality, mindfulness, mental well-being,and organizational commitment in professional female dancers.A total of 424 dancers from the United States participated in the survey.Structural equation modeling indicated that workplace spirituality was positively associated with both mental well-being and organizational commitment, whereas mindfulness was significantly related only to organizational commitment.Mental well-being was a significant predictor of organizational commitment and mediated the relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational commitment, but not between mindfulness and commitment. These results suggest that workplace spirituality functions as a psychological resource that enhances emotional health and strengthens organizational engagement.Thesefindings are consistent with self-determination theory, highlighting the role of value congruence and intrinsic purpose in sustaining motivation in high-performance contexts. Moreover, the studyfindings underscore the importance of fostering spiritually supportive work environments to promote psychological well-being and long-term organizational commitment.

文摘Cultivation metaphors that compare teachers and students to gardeners and plants, respectively, have a long presence in the field of education. While such metaphors can be used to represent learner-centered pedagogies in which a teacher fosters the growth of their students, there is also a darker side to cultivation metaphors. For instance,Zipory(2020)argues that characteristics of agriculture’s grain economy-like repetitiveness, coercion, and lack of diversity-can be imposed onto education.Following Zipory’s call for the forest to serve as a more apt metaphorical trajectory for education,I propose using the forest garden as a middle ground between the traditional garden and the natural forest. To highlight the potential usefulness of the forest garden metaphor in education,I explore its application as related to teacher professional development(PD),specifically content and language integrated learning(CLIL)PD.By reflecting on the design and outcomes of Project SCILLA,a CLIL PD program for Kazakhstani university instructors,as well as CLIL PD more broadly,I demonstrate how the forest garden metaphor conceptualizes the relationships and power dynamics between and across various stakeholders in education in response to global rhetoric, national and local policies, and interpersonal interactions.By emulating the sustainable forest garden’s principles of planning and intentionality, localization, interconnectedness, diversity, creativity, and growth from decay, stakeholders can(re)shape the policies and practices of multilingual, multicultural education systems. In addition, education researchers can use a metaphorical forest garden lens to better appreciate the complexities at play within dynamic educational landscapes.
文摘Ethical approval is the first essential step for medical master’s students to officially initiate research. This article discusses the ethical issues encountered in various types of research projects conducted by professional master’s students, the preparation of ethical application materials, conflicts between the timing of ethical applications and the clinical training rotation schedules, and the continuity of ethical applications among students within the same cohort and across different cohorts.

文摘The integrated development of nursing education and innovation&entrepreneurship education is a crucial approach to cultivating high-quality nursing professionals and advancing the discipline of nursing. This paper discusses the main issues currently faced in the integration process and provides reform suggestions from six aspects:curriculum system, teaching methods, practical teaching platforms, project competitions, faculty development, and evaluation systems. These explorations aim to offer theoretical support and practical references for promoting the deep integration of nursing education and innovation&entrepreneurship education, ultimately enhancing students’innovation and entrepreneurial capabilities.
文摘This study investigates the effects of AI-mediated communication (AMC) on trust-building and negotiation outcomes in professional remote collaboration settings. These findings contribute to the theoretical understanding of technology-mediated communication and practical applications for organizations implementing AI communication tools.
