Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al alloy with fine-grainedβphases was fabricated by friction stir processing with opti-mized processing parameters.The superplastic behavior of the specimens was investigated by tensile deformation at different strain rates and temperatures,and an optimal superplastic elongation of 634%was achieved at 700℃ and 3×10^(-4)/s.An annealing treatment at 650℃ for 60 min showed a mi-crostructure withαprecipitates distributed in theβmatrix in the friction stir specimen.Such pre-heat treatment improves the superplasticity of the specimen,achieving an elongation of up to 807%at 750℃ and 3×10^(-4)/s.The influences of tensile temperatures and strain rates on the microstructural evolution,such as grain size variation,grain morphology,and phase transformations,were discussed.The super-plastic deformation behavior of fine-grained Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al alloy is controlled by grain boundary sliding and accompanied by dynamic phase transformation and recrystallization. 展开更多

The hot deformation characteristics of induction quenched Zr-Sn-Nb-Fe-Cr alloy forged rod in the temperature range of 600–900°C and strain rate range of 0.001–1 s^(-1)were studied by Gleeble3800 uniaxial hot compression experiment.The results show that the flow stress decreases with the decrease in strain rate and the increase in deformation temperature in the true stress-true strain curve of Zr-Sn-Nb-Fe-Cr alloy forged rod.Moreover,the hot deformation characteristics of the material can be described by the hyperbolic sine constitutive equation.Under the experimental conditions,the average thermal activation energy(Q)of the alloy was 412.9105 kJ/mol.The microstructure analysis of the processing map and the sample after hot compression shows that the optimum hot working parameters of the alloy are 795–900°C,0.001–0.0068 s^(-1),at the deformation temperature of 600–900°C,and the strain rate of 0.001–1 s^(-1). 展开更多

DeepSeek Chinese artificial intelligence(AI)open-source model,has gained a lot of attention due to its economical training and efficient inference.DeepSeek,a model trained on large-scale reinforcement learning without supervised fine-tuning as a preliminary step,demonstrates remarkable reasoning capabilities of performing a wide range of tasks.DeepSeek is a prominent AI-driven chatbot that assists individuals in learning and enhances responses by generating insightful solutions to inquiries.Users possess divergent viewpoints regarding advanced models like DeepSeek,posting both their merits and shortcomings across several social media platforms.This research presents a new framework for predicting public sentiment to evaluate perceptions of DeepSeek.To transform the unstructured data into a suitable manner,we initially collect DeepSeek-related tweets from Twitter and subsequently implement various preprocessing methods.Subsequently,we annotated the tweets utilizing the Valence Aware Dictionary and sentiment Reasoning(VADER)methodology and the lexicon-driven TextBlob.Next,we classified the attitudes obtained from the purified data utilizing the proposed hybrid model.The proposed hybrid model consists of long-term,shortterm memory(LSTM)and bidirectional gated recurrent units(BiGRU).To strengthen it,we include multi-head attention,regularizer activation,and dropout units to enhance performance.Topic modeling employing KMeans clustering and Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA),was utilized to analyze public behavior concerning DeepSeek.The perceptions demonstrate that 82.5%of the people are positive,15.2%negative,and 2.3%neutral using TextBlob,and 82.8%positive,16.1%negative,and 1.2%neutral using the VADER analysis.The slight difference in results ensures that both analyses concur with their overall perceptions and may have distinct views of language peculiarities.The results indicate that the proposed model surpassed previous state-of-the-art approaches. 展开更多

An Adaptive Cooperated Shuffled Frog-Leaping Algorithm for Parallel Batch Processing Machines Scheduling in Fabric Dyeing Processes

Fabric dyeing is a critical production process in the clothing industry and heavily relies on batch processing machines(BPM).In this study,the parallel BPM scheduling problem with machine eligibility in fabric dyeing is considered,and an adaptive cooperated shuffled frog-leaping algorithm(ACSFLA)is proposed to minimize makespan and total tardiness simultaneously.ACSFLA determines the search times for each memeplex based on its quality,with more searches in high-quality memeplexes.An adaptive cooperated and diversified search mechanism is applied,dynamically adjusting search strategies for each memeplex based on their dominance relationships and quality.During the cooperated search,ACSFLA uses a segmented and dynamic targeted search approach,while in non-cooperated scenarios,the search focuses on local search around superior solutions to improve efficiency.Furthermore,ACSFLA employs adaptive population division and partial population shuffling strategies.Through these strategies,memeplexes with low evolutionary potential are selected for reconstruction in the next generation,while thosewithhighevolutionarypotential are retained to continue their evolution.Toevaluate the performance of ACSFLA,comparative experiments were conducted using ACSFLA,SFLA,ASFLA,MOABC,and NSGA-CC in 90 instances.The computational results reveal that ACSFLA outperforms the other algorithms in 78 of the 90 test cases,highlighting its advantages in solving the parallel BPM scheduling problem with machine eligibility. 展开更多

Artificial Intelligence-Powered Legal Document Processing for Medical Negligence Cases: A Critical Review

This critical review looks at the assessment of the application of artificial intelligence in handling legal documents with specific reference to medical negligence cases with a view of identifying its transformative potentialities, issues and ethical concerns. The review consolidates findings that show the impact of AI in improving the efficiency, accuracy and justice delivery in the legal profession. The studies show increased efficiency in speed of document review and enhancement of the accuracy of the reviewed documents, with time efficiency estimates of 60% reduction of time. However, the review also outlines some of the problems that continue to characterize AI, such as data quality problems, biased algorithms and the problem of the opaque decision-making system. This paper assesses ethical issues related to patient autonomy, justice and non-malignant suffering, with particular focus on patient privacy and fair process, and on potential unfairness to patients. This paper’s review of AI innovations finds that regulations lag behind AI developments, leading to unsettled issues regarding legal responsibility for AI and user control over AI-generated results and findings in legal proceedings. Some of the future avenues that are presented in the study are the future of XAI for legal purposes, utilizing federated learning for resolving privacy issues, and the need to foster adaptive regulation. Finally, the review advocates for Legal Subject Matter Experts to collaborate with legal informatics experts, ethicists, and policy makers to develop the best solutions to implement AI in medical negligence claims. It reasons that there is great potential for AI to have a deep impact on the practice of law but when done, it must do so in a way that respects justice and on the Rights of Individuals. 展开更多

Background The diverse types and processing methods of grains intricately influence the sites and digestibility of starch digestion,thereby impacting energy utilization.This study aimed to explore the impact of grain variety and processing methods on the net energy(NE)in dairy goats,analyzing these effects at the level of nutrient digestion and metabolism.Methods Eighteen castrated Guanzhong dairy goats(44.25±3.59 kg BW)were randomly divided into 3 groups,each consisting of 6 replicates.The substitution method was employed to determine the NE values of the dry-rolled corn(DRC),dry-rolled wheat(DRW)or steam-flaked corn(SFC,360 g/L).Briefly,two phases were performed.Throughout the basal phase,all goats were fed the same basal diet.In the substitution phase,30%of the basal diet was replaced with DRC,DRW and SFC,respectively.Results In this study,the NE values of the DRC,DRW and SFC were 7.65,7.54 and 7.44 MJ/kg DM,respectively.Compared to the DRC group,the DRW group showed increased digestibility of starch and crude protein(CP).Similarly,the SFC group exhibited increased organic matter(OM)and starch digestibility and a trend towards higher dry matter(DM)digestibility,reduced fecal OM and starch content.Additionally,fecal volatile fatty acid(VFA)concentrations decreased in goats fed SFC.Correspondingly,digestible energy(DE)in the DRW and SFC groups tended to be higher than in the DRC group.DRW increased total VFA concentration compared to DRC,while SFC increased the proportion of propionate and decreased the acetate-to-propionate ratio in the rumen.Both the DRW and SFC diets elevated serum glucose levels.Furthermore,heat increment(HI)and gaseous energy(Gas E)related to fermentation were significantly higher in the DRW and SFC groups compared to the DRC group.Conclusion Our findings indicated that DRW and SFC increased rumen starch fermentation in goats,thereby improving total tract starch digestion and DE.However,DRW and SFC failed to improve NE value due to increased heat and gas energy production from fermentation.Therefore,excessively refined grains processing in the diet of dairy goats does not effectively improve energy efficiency. 展开更多

Influence of processing history on microstructure,mechanical properties,and electrical conductivity of Cu−0.7Mg alloy

The effects of forward extrusion as well as extrusion combined with reversible torsion(KoBo extrusion),followed by additional deformation via the MaxStrain module of the Gleeble thermomechanical simulator,on the microstructure,mechanical properties,and electrical conductivity of a Cu−0.7Mg(wt.%)alloy,were investigated.The simulation results highlighted the critical influence of processing history on determining the equivalent strain distribution.The sample subjected to forward extrusion at 400℃and subsequent MaxStrain processing(FM sample),possessed 76%lower grain size compared to the sample processed solely with MaxStrain(AM sample).Likewise,the KoBo-extruded and MaxStrain-processed sample(KM sample)exhibited 66%smaller grain size compared to the AM sample.Tensile test results revealed that the AM,FM,and KM samples,respectively,possessed 251%,288%,and 360%higher yield strength,and 95%,121%,and 169%higher tensile strength compared to the initial annealed alloy,as a result of grain refinement as well as deformation strengthening.Finally,the electrical conductivity measurements revealed that AM,FM,and KM samples,respectively,possessed electrical conductivity values of 37.9,35.6,and 32.0 MS/m,which,by considering their mechanical properties,makes them eligible to be categorized as high-strength and high-conductivity copper alloys. 展开更多

Breakage is an important step in the resource processing chain.However,the mechanical crushing methods commonly used today suffer from low energy efficiency and high dust levels.Promoting environmental protection and improving energy efficiency are crucial to advancing China’s circular economy.Mining companies are actively exploring novel and innovative technologies to significantly cut down on operating costs and minimize emissions of dust and pollutants generated during processing.Recently,high voltage pulse discharge(HVPD)technology has received widespread attention and has been reported to have good application prospects in resource processing.This paper presents an extensive review of the operational principles of HVPD and the unique characteristics it engenders,such as non-polluting,selective material fragmentation,pre-weakening,pre-concentration,and enhanced permeability of coal seams.Additionally,this review explores the potential and obstacles confronting HVPD in industrial contexts,offering fresh insights for HVPD optimization and providing guidance and prospects for industrial deployment and further development. 展开更多

Achieving excellent strength-ductility synergy of wire-arc additive manufactured Mg-Gd-Y-Zr alloy via friction stir processing

Friction stir processing(FSP)was applied to wire-arc additively manufactured(WAAM)Mg-9.54Gd-1.82Y-0.44Zr(GW92K)alloy to address coarse microstructure and porosity defects inherent to layer-by-layer deposition.FSP induced complete dissolution of the coarse Mg_(5)(Gd,Y)eutectic network(initial size:3.3±0.5μm)and triggered dynamic recrystallization,achieving a 69.5%grain refinement from 16.4μm(WAAMed)to 5.0μm(FSPed).This microstructural transformation enhanced ultimate tensile strength(UTS)by 32%(217±3 MPa→286±2 MPa),yield strength(YS)by 46%(124±2 MPa→182±7 MPa),and elongation(EL)by 35%(9.7±1.1%→13.1±1.4%).Quantitative analysis via Hall-Petch relationship confirmed that grain refinement contributed~50 MPa(79%)of the total YS increment,while nano-precipitation(β/βphases<20 nm)effects accounted for the remaining~13 MPa.The simultaneous strength-ductility enhancement originates from FSP-induced defect elimination(porosity reduction:1.75%→0.18%)and dual-phase grain boundary pinning by Zr particles andβ-Mg_(5)(Gd,Y)precipitates.These findings establish FSP as a viable post-treatment for overcoming WAAM limitations in high-performance Mg-RE alloy fabrication. 展开更多

Sequential processing(SqP)of the active layer offers independent optimization of the donor and acceptor with more targeted solvent design,which is considered the most promising strategy for achieving efficient organic solar cells(OSCs).In the SqP method,the favorable interpenetrating network seriously depends on the fine control of the bottom layer swelling.However,the choice of solvent(s)for both the donor and acceptor have been mostly based on a trial-and-error manner.A single solvent often cannot achieve sufficient yet not excessive swelling,which has long been a difficulty in the high efficient SqP OSCs.Herein,two new isomeric molecules are introduced to fine-tune the nucleation and crystallization dynamics that allows judicious control over the swelling of the bottom layer.The strong non-covalent interaction between the isomeric molecule and active materials provides an excellent driving force for optimize the swelling-process.Among them,the molecule with high dipole moment promotes earlier nucleation of the PM6 and provides extended time for crystallization during SqP,improving bulk morphology and vertical phase segregation.As a result,champion efficiencies of 17.38%and 20.00%(certified 19.70%)are achieved based on PM6/PYF-T-o(all-polymer)and PM6/BTP-eC9 devices casted by toluene solvent. 展开更多

Research on strength-ductility and fracture behavior of ultra-fine bio-magnesium alloys via double-sided friction stir processing using liquid CO_(2) cooling

Bio-magnesium(Mg)alloys exhibit excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability,making them highly promising for implant applications.However,their limited strength-ductility balance remains a critical challenge restricting widespread use.In this study,ultra-fine-grained and homogeneous Mg alloys were fabricated using double-sided friction stir processing(DS-FSP)with liquid CO_(2) rapid cooling,leading to a significant enhancement in the strength-ductility synergy of the stirred zone.The results demonstrate that DS-FSP samples exhibit simultaneous improvements in ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and elongation,reaching 334.1±15 MPa and 28.2±7.3%,respectively.Compared to the non-uniform fine-grained microstructure obtained through single-sided friction stir processing,DS-FSP generates a uniform ultra-fine-grained structure,fundamentally altering the fracture behavior and mechanisms of Mg alloys.The DS-FSP samples exhibit irregular fracture patterns due to variations in basal slip system activation among different grains.In contrast,single-sided friction stir processing samples,characterized by a fine-grained yet heterogeneous microstructure,display flat shear fractures dominated by high-density dislocation initiation induced by twin formation,with fracture propagation dictated by the non-uniform texture.By achieving an ultra-fine grain size and homogeneous texture,DS-FSP effectively modifies the fracture mechanisms,thereby enhancing the strength-ductility balance of bio-magnesium alloys. 展开更多
