Background:Research on therapeutic processes has explored the elements that enhance psychotherapy’s effectiveness,particularly the role of common factors across various models.The therapist’s use of directiveness an...Background:Research on therapeutic processes has explored the elements that enhance psychotherapy’s effectiveness,particularly the role of common factors across various models.The therapist’s use of directiveness and support,as common variables,is crucial for effective treatment.Effective therapists adapt their level of directiveness and support according to the treatment phase,the issue being addressed,and the patient’s characteristics.This study examines the importance therapists attribute to directiveness and support,as well as its relationship with theoretical orientation,access to research publications,and stance on the similar effectiveness of different psychotherapeutic models.It aims to determine whether therapists’attributions regarding this variable are in line with the importance it is given in process research.Methods:Responses from 69 psychotherapists to the Psychotherapeutic Effectiveness Attribution Questionnaire(PEAQ-12),which assesses the importance therapists place on key psychotherapeutic process variables,including the directiveness and support provided,were analyzed.Theoretical orientations,ages,and experience levels were considered.Non-parametric tests,contingency tables,χ^(2)tests,t-tests,and ANOVAs were used to assess the variation in responses.Results:Common factors were often identified as key contributors to therapeutic healing,though these differences were not statistically significant(χ^(2)(2,N=67)=3.701,p=0.157).For the“directiveness and support from the therapist”variable,significant differences were observed:Cognitive-behavioral therapists valued directiveness and support more than psychodynamic therapists(t(20)=−3.569,p=0.002;Cohen’s d=1.18).Therapists who view cognitive-behavioral therapies as most effective also rated this variable higher(t(38)=3.816,p<0.001;Cohen’s d=1.21).Those regularly accessing specialized psychotherapy research publications valued this variable less than those who do so occasionally(t(64)=−2.693,p=0.009;Cohen’s d=0.65).Therapists who support the similar effectiveness of different models tend to favor common factors,including directiveness and support(χ^(2)(2,N=66)=12.522,p=0.002).Conclusions:Therapists express doubts about the factors influencing psychotherapy’s effectiveness,reflecting the ongoing debate.They align their views on the importance of directiveness and support with their theoretical orientation and positioning on the similar effectiveness of psychotherapies.The importance of analyzing therapists’attributions about the factors responsible for therapeutic change is emphasized,which will impact clinical practice.Advocacy for therapist flexibility and adaptation of therapy to the patient’s needs,including the level of directiveness and support provided,has been shown to be essential for effective psychotherapy.展开更多
Purpose:In studies of the research process,the association between how researchers conceptualize research and their strategic research agendas has been largely overlooked.This study aims to address this gap.Design/met...Purpose:In studies of the research process,the association between how researchers conceptualize research and their strategic research agendas has been largely overlooked.This study aims to address this gap.Design/methodology/approach:This study analyzes this relationship using a dataset of more than 8,500 researchers across all scientific fields and the globe.It studies the associations between the dimensions of two inventories:the Conceptions of Research Inventory(CoRI)and the Multi-Dimensional Research Agenda Inventory—Revised(MDRAI-R).Findings:The findings show a relatively strong association between researchers’conceptions of research and their research agendas.While all conceptions of research are positively related to scientific ambition,the findings are mixed regarding how the dimensions of the two inventories relate to one another,which is significant for those seeking to understand the knowledge production process better.Research limitations:The study relies on self-reported data,which always carries a risk of response bias.Practical implications:The findings provide a greater understanding of the inner workings of knowledge processes and indicate that the two inventories,whether used individually or in combination,may provide complementary analytical perspectives to research performance indicators.They may thus offer important insights for managers of research environments regarding how to assess the research culture,beliefs,and conceptualizations of individual researchers and research teams when designing strategies to promote specific institutional research focuses and strategies.Originality/value:To the best of the authors’knowledge,this is the first study to associate research agendas and conceptions of research.It is based on a large sample of researchers working worldwide and in all fields of knowledge,which ensures that the findings have a reasonable degree of generalizability to the global population of researchers.展开更多

It has gradually become a relativel...As an important branch of human geography, transportation geography has experienced three periods of evolution: foundation, systematization, and rapid development of the discipline. It has gradually become a relatively mature discipline. During the period 1930– 1980, the development of transportation geography consisted mainly of the publication of theoretical texts. During 1980–2000, it gradually became a systematic discipline. Since the start of the 21 st century, transportation geography has focused mainly on exploring the impacts of transportation on socio-economic development. Currently, studies on transportation geography have led to significant developments in a number of areas, including transportation theory, facility distribution and planning, transportation flows and network analysis, evaluation of transport modes, transportation planning, and simulation and assessment of urban transportation. Such studies have also enriched human geography research, provided a wider geographical overview and elucidated the development mechanism of transportation, as well as helped to understand the impacts of transport development on socio-economic systems. Some findings obtained by geographers have been widely used in transportation geography and related fields, including the four basic laws of transportation generation, the hub–spoke mode of transport organization, the subordinating and guiding functions of transportation on socio-economic development, regional transport dominance measures, accessibility measures, and spatial organization of port systems.展开更多

Following a connotation, these two factors therefore play a crucial role in defining the alternation of urban space--in particular, that of the centers. The main focus of this research article is on the methodology used in the survey and evaluation of "centralities" as well as their developments over the past four decades (1974-2014) in approaches to urban development that has been developed in Graz.~ The analysis has drawn on the four editions ("evolution") of approaches to urban development as conceived by the city of Graz in order to examine their verbal characteristics in regard to centralities. At the same time, the analysis does not examine presentations of plans which exist in supplementary forms (e.g., explanatory reports and supplemented plans)--it restricts itself solely to the various plans set out in the STEKs.2 The highest degree of accuracy has been applied to the notion of "centralis" in approaches to urban development. The goal of the research project was to depict the modulation of the notion of "centrality" in the urban context as a space-forming dimension. Furthermore, it clearly shows the extent to which the notion of the "centre" (in the widest sense of the word) has become distanced from qualitative, spatial development and at the current time of urban development is experiencing a sort of Renaissance. In the field of "urban development", architectural references in the context of"centrality" have scarcely been researched. This has led to the opening-up of a complex interdisciplinary research field. In order to make the complex architectural determinants of "centrality" more accessible to the participating disciplines, approaches to urban development have been explored in the form of a social and spatial analysis.展开更多

The scope of study is based on full-time final year undergraduate trainee teachers for the Educational Degree Programme doing their school based action research in the states of Kedah, Perlis, and Penang. In the present work, a hydrocracking catalyst suitable f...The upgrading of diesel oil to produce ethylene rich cracking feedstock is an important and promising technical route to reduce the ratio of diesel to gasoline. In the present work, a hydrocracking catalyst suitable for selective hydrocracking of straight run diesel oil to produce high-quality ethylene cracking feedstock at low cost was developed, by optimizing the composition of catalyst support materials, using amorphous silicon aluminum and aluminum oxide with high mesopore content as the main support, and modified Y zeolite with excellent aromatic ring opening selectivity as the acidic component. The catalyst has in-depth characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, N<sub>2</sub>-low temperature adsorption-desorption, NH<sub>3</sub>-temperature-programmed desorption, and IR techniques. And its catalytic cracking straight run diesel oil performance was evaluated. The results show that the prepared catalyst has high polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon ring opening cracking selectivity. However, alkanes retained in diesel distillates can achieve the goal of producing more ethylene cracking feedstocks with low BMCI value under low and moderate pressure conditions. This work may shed significant technical insight for oil refining transformation.展开更多

Cubital tunnel syndrome(CTS)is a chronic condition caused by the compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow.The ulnar nerve is susceptible to entrapment at multiple sites along its path,with the elbow joint being the...Cubital tunnel syndrome(CTS)is a chronic condition caused by the compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow.The ulnar nerve is susceptible to entrapment at multiple sites along its path,with the elbow joint being the most critical.Symptoms typically include numbness in the ulnar nerve distribution area,hand muscle atrophy,and weakness.Patients exhibiting mild symptoms can be treated conservatively,whereas those with moderate to severe symptoms often require surgical intervention.Extensive research has been conducted on the clinical treatment of CTS.The complex etiology of this condition,coupled with the unique anatomical structure of the ulnar nerve,has led to less-than-satisfactory clinical outcomes.Physiotherapy plays an important role in aiding nerve recovery and reducing disability rates.Initiating physiotherapy early can address the cause of the disease,mitigate nerve damage,improve functional impairment due to nerve injury,and enhance the quality of patients’daily activities.However,definitive guidelines for the treatment and evaluation of cubital tunnel syndrome are lacking.This review compiles the various modalities and advancements in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of CTS,drawing from recent domestic and international literature.It summarizes and compares the diagnostic tools currently employed in clinical practice and offers suggestions for physicians and therapists in selecting personalized diagnostic tools for patient assessment.Additionally,the review describes various rehabilitation methods,providing fresh insights for patients with cubital tunnel syndrome who have received conservative or surgical treatment.展开更多

Such studies have also enriched human geography research, provided a wider geographical overview and elucidated the development mechanism of transportation, as well as helped to understand the impacts of transport development on socio-economic systems. Some findings obtained by geographers have been widely used in transportation geography and related fields, including the four basic laws of transportation generation, the hub–spoke mode of transport organization, the subordinating and guiding functions of transportation on socio-economic development, regional transport dominance measures, accessibility measures, and spatial organization of port systems.
文摘Dispersed and peripheral spaces in the urban core are influenced both by the trend towards constant growth as well as social ways of life which are constantly evolving. Following a connotation, these two factors therefore play a crucial role in defining the alternation of urban space--in particular, that of the centers. The main focus of this research article is on the methodology used in the survey and evaluation of "centralities" as well as their developments over the past four decades (1974-2014) in approaches to urban development that has been developed in Graz.~ The analysis has drawn on the four editions ("evolution") of approaches to urban development as conceived by the city of Graz in order to examine their verbal characteristics in regard to centralities. At the same time, the analysis does not examine presentations of plans which exist in supplementary forms (e.g., explanatory reports and supplemented plans)--it restricts itself solely to the various plans set out in the STEKs.2 The highest degree of accuracy has been applied to the notion of "centralis" in approaches to urban development. The goal of the research project was to depict the modulation of the notion of "centrality" in the urban context as a space-forming dimension. Furthermore, it clearly shows the extent to which the notion of the "centre" (in the widest sense of the word) has become distanced from qualitative, spatial development and at the current time of urban development is experiencing a sort of Renaissance. In the field of "urban development", architectural references in the context of"centrality" have scarcely been researched. This has led to the opening-up of a complex interdisciplinary research field. In order to make the complex architectural determinants of "centrality" more accessible to the participating disciplines, approaches to urban development have been explored in the form of a social and spatial analysis.

文摘Renal interstitial fibrosis (RIF) is a common pathological process of chronic kidney disease that progresses toend-stage renal failure. The degree of RIF is closely related to renal function. The study of the pathogenesis of renalinterstitial fibrosis, exploration of effective prevention measures to delay the progress of end stage renal disease andprolong the life of patients is significant. The pathology of RIF has complicated extracellular and intercellularmechanisms, involving many cells and cytokines, resulting in an incomplete mechanistic understanding of thedisease. Finding effective herbs or herbal extracts for prevention and treatment of RIF is crucial because currentmedical approaches do not reliably slow or reverse RIF. 文摘The case study attempts to discover with certainty the competency of accessing, evaluating and applying information in research process acquired by undergraduate trainees of Malaysian Teacher Education Institute in the northern region of Peninsula Malaysia. Considered as highly important skills that trainee teachers have to acquire a comprehensive understanding of information literacy to pursue a research. Yet, it is a pivotal fact indicated by recent researchers that most future teachers often enter teaching without the necessary information literacy skills and knowledge in research process. The scope of study is based on full-time final year undergraduate trainee teachers for the Educational Degree Programme doing their school based action research in the states of Kedah, Perlis, and Penang. The study analyzes problems and issues faced by these trainee teachers tied up to information literacy competency in doing research process. The study investigates trainees' competencies of accessing, evaluating, and applying information ethically in their research process. The findings hope to give insights to stake holders on the ways to move forward in terms of needs, process and outcomes in accordance with the Malaysian National Information Literacy Agenda.

Under the background of information age, agricultural production in western advanced developed countries is gradually developing towards modernization and mechanization, bringing unprecedented development to the local agriculture, but at the same time, it also brings serious pollution to the local ecological environment, energy shortage and other issues, which have caused serious constraints to the development of domestic agriculture. In response to these situations, a large number of relevant researchers began to study new agricultural production methods. Through many efforts, diversified new agriculture emerged as the times require, such as green agriculture and ecological agriculture. The ultimate purpose of these production methods is to gradually realize the transformation from extensive operation to refined production through refined treatment of agricultural production under the condition of effective resources. The main measures to achieve this transformation are mainly through improving the environment, variable inputs and combining with accurate management to ultimately achieve high-quality production of crop products. This precise agricultural production method has been widely recognized and popularized all over the world. Based on this, this paper studies the development status of precision agriculture, studies the development direction of precision agriculture from three aspects, and analyzes the role of precision agriculture technology system for reference by relevant people.
文摘Students' thinking in physics learning has changed from junior high school to senior high school. However, the teaching method of physics in senior high school has not changed with the change of students' thinking mode. As a result, students have difficulties in the process of acceptance and their grades have declined. With the development of curriculum reform, traditional teaching has not adapted to the transition requirements of junior high school. This paper applies the research methods of interview, observation and comparison to dissect students' learning behavior, teachers' teaching behavior, teaching materials and other aspects, trying to find out the reasons for the "gap" in physics classroom teaching in junior and senior high schools, and puts forward the solutions to the problem.

This includes the global processes of magnetospheric substorms, the origin of the southern-northern component of interplanetary magnetic field, quantitative effects of the interplanetary conditions, driving processes of the solar wind, location of the triggering of the expansion phase, and relationship between magnetospheric storms and substorms. Moreover, the research directions in the future have also been discussed.

文摘Aim To develop the practical synthetic route of zanamivir,a drug for AIV treatment.Methods Zanamivir was synthesized by using N-acetylneuraminic acid as the starting material,through an eight-step process including esterification,acylation,cyclization.ring-opening,azide substitution,reduction,and hydrolysis followed by reaction with aminoiminomethanesulfonic acid(AIMSA).Results and conclusion The target compound was synthesized by an improved route,and Was verified by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,LR-MS,HR-MS,elemental analysis and X-ray.The total yield is 10.1%.
文摘The upgrading of diesel oil to produce ethylene rich cracking feedstock is an important and promising technical route to reduce the ratio of diesel to gasoline. In the present work, a hydrocracking catalyst suitable for selective hydrocracking of straight run diesel oil to produce high-quality ethylene cracking feedstock at low cost was developed, by optimizing the composition of catalyst support materials, using amorphous silicon aluminum and aluminum oxide with high mesopore content as the main support, and modified Y zeolite with excellent aromatic ring opening selectivity as the acidic component. The catalyst has in-depth characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, N<sub>2</sub>-low temperature adsorption-desorption, NH<sub>3</sub>-temperature-programmed desorption, and IR techniques. And its catalytic cracking straight run diesel oil performance was evaluated. The results show that the prepared catalyst has high polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon ring opening cracking selectivity. However, alkanes retained in diesel distillates can achieve the goal of producing more ethylene cracking feedstocks with low BMCI value under low and moderate pressure conditions. This work may shed significant technical insight for oil refining transformation.

文摘Cubital tunnel syndrome(CTS)is a chronic condition caused by the compression of the ulnar nerve at the elbow.The ulnar nerve is susceptible to entrapment at multiple sites along its path,with the elbow joint being the most critical.Symptoms typically include numbness in the ulnar nerve distribution area,hand muscle atrophy,and weakness.Patients exhibiting mild symptoms can be treated conservatively,whereas those with moderate to severe symptoms often require surgical intervention.Extensive research has been conducted on the clinical treatment of CTS.The complex etiology of this condition,coupled with the unique anatomical structure of the ulnar nerve,has led to less-than-satisfactory clinical outcomes.Physiotherapy plays an important role in aiding nerve recovery and reducing disability rates.Initiating physiotherapy early can address the cause of the disease,mitigate nerve damage,improve functional impairment due to nerve injury,and enhance the quality of patients’daily activities.However,definitive guidelines for the treatment and evaluation of cubital tunnel syndrome are lacking.This review compiles the various modalities and advancements in the diagnosis and rehabilitation of CTS,drawing from recent domestic and international literature.It summarizes and compares the diagnostic tools currently employed in clinical practice and offers suggestions for physicians and therapists in selecting personalized diagnostic tools for patient assessment.Additionally,the review describes various rehabilitation methods,providing fresh insights for patients with cubital tunnel syndrome who have received conservative or surgical treatment.
