In this research,a methodology named whole-process pollution control(WPPC)is demonstrated that improves the effectiveness of process optimization.This methodology considers waste/emission treatment as a step of the whole production process with respect to the minimization of cost and environmental impact for the whole process.The following procedures are introduced in a WPPC process optimization:①a material and energy flow investigation and optimization based on a systematic understanding of the distribution and physiochemical properties of potential pollutants;②a process optimization to increase the utilization efficiency of different elements and minimize pollutant emissions;and③an evaluation to reveal the effectiveness of the optimization strategies.The production of ammonium paratungstate was chosen for the case study.Two factors of the different optimization schemes-namely the cost-effectiveness factor and the environmental impact indicator-were evaluated and compared.This research demonstrates that by considering the nature of potential pollutants,technological innovations,economic viability,environmental impacts,and regulation requirements,WPPC can efficiently optimize a metal production process. 展开更多

Based on an equivalent two-dimensional Fornasini-Marchsini model for a batch process in industry, a closed-loop robust iterative learning fault-tolerant guaranteed cost control scheme is proposed for batch processes with actuator failures. This paper introduces relevant concepts of the fault-tolerant guaranteed cost control and formulates the robust iterative learning reliable guaranteed cost controller (ILRGCC). A significant advantage is that the proposed ILRGCC design method can be used for on-line optimization against batch-to-batch process uncertainties to realize robust tracking of set-point trajectory in time and batch-to-batch sequences. For the convenience of implementation, only measured output errors of current and previous cycles are used to design a synthetic controller for iterative learning control, consisting of dynamic output feedback plus feed-forward control. The proposed controller can not only guarantee the closed-loop convergency along time and cycle sequences but also satisfy the H∞performance level and a cost function with upper bounds for all admissible uncertainties and any actuator failures. Sufficient conditions for the controller solution are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), and design procedures, which formulate a convex optimization problem with LMI constraints, are presented. An example of injection molding is given to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of the ILRGCC design approach. 展开更多

Based on a nonlinear state predictor (NSP) and a strong tracking filter (STF), a sensor fault tolerant generic model control (FTGMC) approach for a class of nonlinear time-delay processes is proposed. First, the NSP is introduced, and it is used to extend the conventional generic model control (GMC) to nonlinear processes with large input time-delay. Then the STF is adopted to estimate process states and sensor bias, the estimated sensor bias is used to drive a fault detection logic. When a sensor fault is detected, the estimated process states by the STF will be used to construct the process output to form a 'soft sensor', which is then used by the NSP (instead of the real outputs) to provide state predictors. These procedures constitute an active fault tolerant control scheme. Finally, simulation results of a three-tank-system demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

However, despite of the hardware redundancy, sensor faults have often affected the wind turbine normal operation and thus caused energy generation loss. In this paper, aiming at the wind turbine hydraulic pitch system, data-driven design of process monitoring(PM) and diagnosis has been realized in the wind turbine benchmark. Fault tolerant control(FTC) strategies focused on sensor faults have also been presented here, where with the implementation of soft sensor the sensor fault can be handled and the performance of the system is improved. Objective: to study and analyze the effect of whole-course quality control on the quality of nursing work in disinfection supply room. Methods: the nursing management of the disinfection supply room in our hospital from April 2019 to July 2022 was retrospectively analyzed, including routine nursing management (control phase) from April 2019 to December 2020 and whole-course quality control (research phase) from January 2021 to July 2022. The management quality of medical devices in the disinfection supply room, the satisfaction degree of nursing service in the disinfection supply room and the quality of nursing service in the two groups were evaluated and compared. Results: in the research stage, the scores of all aspects of medical device management quality were higher than those of the control group. in the research stage, the excellent and good rate of nursing service satisfaction in the disinfection supply room was higher than that of the control group. in the research group, the scores of all aspects of nursing service quality in the disinfection supply room were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (p 0.05). Conclusion: total quality control can effectively improve the quality of medical device management and nursing service, and improve the satisfaction of nursing service in the disinfection supply room. 展开更多
