With the development and changes of society and the further iteration and renewal of parents’concepts,the importance and influence of future career planning of primary school students have become increasingly promine...With the development and changes of society and the further iteration and renewal of parents’concepts,the importance and influence of future career planning of primary school students have become increasingly prominent.Parental expectation is a very important part of influencing proactive personality,and it is also an important part of improving career adaptability,personal quality and comprehensive ability.This study explores the relationship between parents’expectation,proactive personality and career adaptability of primary school students.This paper deeply analyzes the influence of proactive personality on career adaptability,so as to provide theoretical support for improving the career adaptability of primary school students.In this study,the Chinese version of“Career Resilience”,“Parental Expectation Questionnaire”and“Proactive Personality Measurement”(PPS)were used as research tools to conduct psychological measurement on 287 students in grade 5 and 6 of a primary school in Beijing.SPSS29.0 and Process statistical software were used to explore the status quo and relationship of proactive personality,parents’expectation and career adaptability of primary school students.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The correlation analysis results between parental expectation and proactive personality are significant,and there is a significant positive correlation.(2)The correlation analysis results between parents’expectations and career adaptability are significant,and there is a significant positive correlation.(3)The correlation analysis results between career adaptability and proactive personality were significant,showing a significant positive correlation.(4)Both parents’expectation and proactive personality have significant direct and positive effects on career adaptability,and proactive personality plays a partial mediating role between parents’expectation and career adaptability.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the lifestyle and myopia among primary school students in urban areas of Fujian with the context of myopia prevention and control measures,aiming to provide scientific evidence for identifying...Objective:To investigate the lifestyle and myopia among primary school students in urban areas of Fujian with the context of myopia prevention and control measures,aiming to provide scientific evidence for identifying high-risk myopia population and formulating effective intervention strategies.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted from October to November 2023,enrolling 811 fourth-grade students from three primary schools in three cities across Fujian.Personal information and lifestyle-related pattern were collected using customized questionnaire.Participants underwent comprehensive ophthalmic assessments including distance visual acuity tests and refractive examinations.Logistic regression analysis was used to assess the impact of lifestyle on the onset of myopia.Results:The prevalence of myopia among fourth-grade students in urban primary schools in Fujian was 46.4%.Only 25.8%students engaged in outdoor activities for more than 2 hours daily,while63.3%participated in outdoor activities during class breaks.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that outdoor activities during class breaks(OR=0.646(95%confidence interval(CI):0.473-0.881),P=0.006)and daily time spent outdoors(2-3 hours,OR=0.682(95%CI:0.466-0.993),P=0.047;more than 3 hours,OR=0.403(95%CI:0.192-0.796),P=0.01)were independent protective factors against myopia.Lifestyle significantly enhanced the predictive performance for myopia(P=0.01).Additionally,parental myopia(one parent with myopia,OR=2.247(95%CI:1.612-3.145),P<0.001;both parents with myopia,OR=4.824(95%CI:3.262-7.204),P<0.001)emerged as a key risk factor for myopia.Conclusions:There is considerable scope for improving the lifestyle of primary school students in urban areas of Fujian.Lifestyle is strongly associated with myopia onset,highlighting the need for schools and families to actively encourage students to engage in more outdoor activities and take breaks outdoors to prevent and control myopia.Students with parents,especially both parents,having myopia should be considered as a key target group for myopia prevention efforts.展开更多

The development of interest can improve the efficiency and quality of students’learning activities.Previous research mainly explored professional interest,but less on subject interest.This study designed and validate...The development of interest can improve the efficiency and quality of students’learning activities.Previous research mainly explored professional interest,but less on subject interest.This study designed and validated a subject interest questionnaire for primary school students to assess their potential to predict academic performance and offer reference for educational assessment and counseling.A sample of 545 students from two primary schools in Beijing was selected.The questionnaire consisted of 138 questions involving eight major courses,such as Chinese,mathematics and English.Through analysis,questions with good discrimination and social desirability were screened out,and nine questions of each sub-scale were finally retained.According to the result,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire reached an acceptable level.Further analysis of exploratory and confirmatory factors revealed that the subject interest can be summarized into two dimensions:“humanities-related factor”and“mathematics-related factor”.The two dimensions are consistent with the“human and material dimensions”proposed by ACT.As a preliminary exploration,this study lays a foundation for further research on the relationship between subject interest and basic interest and provides a practical evaluation tool for primary education.展开更多

Methods: data of poor eyesight, permanent dental caries, nutritional status and blood pressure of primary and secondary school students in Sheyang County in 2020 were analyzed statistically. Results: the detection rate of various common diseases in primary and secondary school students was 70.01% with low vision, 16.25% with overweight, 15.59% with obesity, 13.52% with high blood pressure, 9.77% with permanent caries, 3.51% with mild wasting, 3.23% with moderate and severe wasting and 0.22% with growth retardation. From primary school, junior high school to senior high school, myopia showed a linear increasing trend and obesity showed a fluctuating decreasing trend (P 0.001). The detection rates of poor eyesight, permanent tooth caries, growth retardation and high blood pressure in female students are higher than those in male students, and the detection rates of mild emaciation, moderate and severe emaciation, overweight and obesity in male students are higher than those in female students (p 0.01). Conclusion: common diseases such as poor eyesight, overweight, obesity, high blood pressure and permanent tooth caries are prominent among primary and secondary school students in Sheyang County. According to the characteristics of different populations, prevention and control measures should be taken to effectively reduce the incidence of common diseases among students.展开更多

Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of a varicella outbreak in X Primary School in 2024,evaluate the protective efficacy of varicella vaccine,summarize the characteristics of varicella outbreaks,a...Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of a varicella outbreak in X Primary School in 2024,evaluate the protective efficacy of varicella vaccine,summarize the characteristics of varicella outbreaks,and provide references for the prevention and control of infectious diseases in schools and emergency response.Methods:Symptoms of all ill students were analyzed to clarify the epidemiological characteristics,and the Cox regression model was used to analyze the protective efficacy of varicella vaccine.Results:The varicella epidemic lasted for one month,involving 3 classes in 2 grades.A total of 16 varicella cases were identified in the school,with an attack rate of 1.78%.The vaccination status of 142 students was analyzed for vaccine protective efficacy.Comparison with unvaccinated students showed that the protective efficacy of 1 dose of varicella vaccine was not significant,while the protective efficacy of 2 doses of varicella vaccine was 82.10%.Conclusion:Vaccination with 2 doses of varicella vaccine provides the best protective effect.Timely isolation of ill students after the outbreak can effectively control large-scale varicella outbreaks.展开更多

Introduction:Myopia prevalence is rising globally,with particularly high rates observed in East Asia.This study evaluated the prevalence and associated factors of myopia among primary and secondary school students in ...Introduction:Myopia prevalence is rising globally,with particularly high rates observed in East Asia.This study evaluated the prevalence and associated factors of myopia among primary and secondary school students in Zhejiang Province,China.Methods:A total of 192,704 students from 521 primary and secondary schools in Zhejiang Province were enrolled through multistage stratified cluster sampling as participants in the School-Based Chinese Adolescents’Health Survey(SCAHS)in 2023.All participants underwent comprehensive ophthalmic examinations.Demographic characteristics,parental myopia status,visual and lifestyle behaviors,and dietary habits were collected through structured questionnaires.Results:The overall myopia prevalence among primary and secondary school students in Zhejiang Province was 68.87%,with a high myopia prevalence of 5.82%.Multilevel logistic regression analysis demonstrated that female sex,parental myopia,higher body mass index(BMI),an advanced school stage,homework duration≥3 hours per day,and prolonged sedentary behavior were significantly associated with increased myopia risk.Conversely,residence in suburban counties,outdoor rest after class,outdoor exercise≥3 hours per day,and vegetable intake≥twice per day were associated with reduced myopia risk.Notably,consuming a meat and egg-based breakfast[odds ratio(OR)=0.96,95%confidence interval(CI):0.92,0.99]emerged as a protective factor against myopia.Conclusions:Myopia prevalence remains high among primary and secondary school students in Zhejiang Province,China.Future prevention efforts should prioritize early screening and targeted interventions for high-risk children and adolescents.展开更多

文摘The development of information technology, especially the rise of online teaching platforms, has changed the way people read and the methods they use. Under this influence, primary school students’ independent reading has also been changed. However, due to limited self-control and understanding, primary school students face certain difficulties when using online teaching platforms for independent reading. Advantages and disadvantages of distance learning based on the network teaching platform were summarized in this paper. A one-year experiment study was carried out on our school fifth-grade students in independent reading using WeChat campus platform considering their current situation and existing problems of independent reading. In experiment study an independent reading mode was introduced. The results show that this reading mode can significantly improve students’ independent reading ability.

文摘In today’s era,shadow education is becoming an important form of education in the education system.The pursuit of shadow education among parents and the dependence of students on it heightens its value.However,with the continuous development of shadow education,its profit-seeking nature has begun to appear,and many educational problems are surfacing in the development process.This paper studies shadow education on the basis of Marx’s educational theories,such as the theory of all-round development and game theory.It analyzes the implications of shadow education which are not conducive to social or personal development,in order to continuously improve shadow education,provide better assistance for mainstream school education,and promote the comprehensive development of primary school students.
文摘Mental health is an important issue that the society has paid close attention to in recent years. It represents whether an individual has a complete and sound personality in social life, and whether he has the ability to maintain a harmonious and stable communication relationship with the society and the crowd. In 2012, Chinas Ministry of Education again emphasized the important development requirements of establishing a perfect mental health education system in primary and secondary schools. Primary and secondary school students are in a critical period of psychological and physiological development, and their development of thinking and psychology directly affects their development in many aspects, such as study and life, interpersonal relationship and self-cognition. Based on this, this paper, starting from the defects of mental health education at this stage, explores the establishment of innovative new mental health education system in depth, and explores from multidimensional angles to ensure that the mental health education model of rural primary and middle school students can be continuously improved.
文摘Objective: to investigate and analyze the incidence of common diseases among primary and secondary school students in Sheyang County, and to provide scientific basis for making reasonable prevention and treatment measures for common diseases among primary and secondary school students. Methods: data of poor eyesight, permanent dental caries, nutritional status and blood pressure of primary and secondary school students in Sheyang County in 2020 were analyzed statistically. Results: the detection rate of various common diseases in primary and secondary school students was 70.01% with low vision, 16.25% with overweight, 15.59% with obesity, 13.52% with high blood pressure, 9.77% with permanent caries, 3.51% with mild wasting, 3.23% with moderate and severe wasting and 0.22% with growth retardation. From primary school, junior high school to senior high school, myopia showed a linear increasing trend and obesity showed a fluctuating decreasing trend (P 0.001). The detection rates of poor eyesight, permanent tooth caries, growth retardation and high blood pressure in female students are higher than those in male students, and the detection rates of mild emaciation, moderate and severe emaciation, overweight and obesity in male students are higher than those in female students (p 0.01). Conclusion: common diseases such as poor eyesight, overweight, obesity, high blood pressure and permanent tooth caries are prominent among primary and secondary school students in Sheyang County. According to the characteristics of different populations, prevention and control measures should be taken to effectively reduce the incidence of common diseases among students.
文摘For English education primary school,English vocabulary teaching should be attach importance to because in the traditional class of English vocabulary teaching,teachers just fill young minds with knowledge points of each word in a 35-minute class yet fail to lay emphasis of learners’meaningful learning and autonomic learning as well as their very limited attention spans.To support traditional English vocabulary teaching classes,the research proposes the theme-based English vocabulary micro-lectures designed on the basis of experiential learning theory and constructivist learning theory as well as the analyses of target users of high-level students in the primary school.After application of the micro-lectures into practice,the research assesses the effect of the micro-lectures on the learners and then makes suggestions for design principles of theme-based vocabulary micro-lectures about selection of contents and vocabulary themes,supplementary teaching activities and teacher interaction in the micro-lectures for high-level students in the primary school.Also,the designers should make multi-level English vocabulary micro-lectures according to learners’English proficiency and increase repetition rates of vocabularies in the micro-lectures.
文摘Objective:To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of a varicella outbreak in X Primary School in 2024,evaluate the protective efficacy of varicella vaccine,summarize the characteristics of varicella outbreaks,and provide references for the prevention and control of infectious diseases in schools and emergency response.Methods:Symptoms of all ill students were analyzed to clarify the epidemiological characteristics,and the Cox regression model was used to analyze the protective efficacy of varicella vaccine.Results:The varicella epidemic lasted for one month,involving 3 classes in 2 grades.A total of 16 varicella cases were identified in the school,with an attack rate of 1.78%.The vaccination status of 142 students was analyzed for vaccine protective efficacy.Comparison with unvaccinated students showed that the protective efficacy of 1 dose of varicella vaccine was not significant,while the protective efficacy of 2 doses of varicella vaccine was 82.10%.Conclusion:Vaccination with 2 doses of varicella vaccine provides the best protective effect.Timely isolation of ill students after the outbreak can effectively control large-scale varicella outbreaks.

文摘Introduction:Myopia prevalence is rising globally,with particularly high rates observed in East Asia.This study evaluated the prevalence and associated factors of myopia among primary and secondary school students in Zhejiang Province,China.Methods:A total of 192,704 students from 521 primary and secondary schools in Zhejiang Province were enrolled through multistage stratified cluster sampling as participants in the School-Based Chinese Adolescents’Health Survey(SCAHS)in 2023.All participants underwent comprehensive ophthalmic examinations.Demographic characteristics,parental myopia status,visual and lifestyle behaviors,and dietary habits were collected through structured questionnaires.Results:The overall myopia prevalence among primary and secondary school students in Zhejiang Province was 68.87%,with a high myopia prevalence of 5.82%.Multilevel logistic regression analysis demonstrated that female sex,parental myopia,higher body mass index(BMI),an advanced school stage,homework duration≥3 hours per day,and prolonged sedentary behavior were significantly associated with increased myopia risk.Conversely,residence in suburban counties,outdoor rest after class,outdoor exercise≥3 hours per day,and vegetable intake≥twice per day were associated with reduced myopia risk.Notably,consuming a meat and egg-based breakfast[odds ratio(OR)=0.96,95%confidence interval(CI):0.92,0.99]emerged as a protective factor against myopia.Conclusions:Myopia prevalence remains high among primary and secondary school students in Zhejiang Province,China.Future prevention efforts should prioritize early screening and targeted interventions for high-risk children and adolescents.
