Objective:To explore the application effectiveness of the“Six-Step”Scenario-Based Teaching Method in operating room nursing education.Methods:Seventy nursing students undergoing clinical training in the operating ro...Objective:To explore the application effectiveness of the“Six-Step”Scenario-Based Teaching Method in operating room nursing education.Methods:Seventy nursing students undergoing clinical training in the operating room of a certain hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were selected.They were randomly divided into an observation group(n=35)and a control group(n=35)using a random number table.The control group received traditional“mentor-apprentice”on-the-job training,while the observation group underwent the“six-step”scenario-based teaching method.The two groups were compared on final assessment scores,comprehensive competency,surgical nursing emergency response ability,and teaching satisfaction indicators.Results:The observation group achieved significantly higher final assessment scores(85.54±5.05)than the control group(78.63±4.75);After instruction,the observation group scored significantly higher than the control group in:mastery of basic duties and procedures(4.22±0.30 vs.3.98±0.30),understanding of surgical nursing essentials(4.39±0.19 vs.3.98±0.30),proficiency in surgical assistance(4.11±0.33 vs.3.98±0.30),aseptic awareness(4.32±0.24 vs.3.98±0.30),risk awareness(4.22±0.17 vs.3.98±0.30),and occupational safety awareness(4.01±0.23 vs.3.98±0.30).(4.01±0.23),which were significantly higher than the control group’s scores(3.36±0.28),(3.14±0.27),(3.29±0.24),(3.53±0.36),(3.17±0.25),and(3.51±0.18),respectively.Students in the observation group scored significantly higher than the control group in emergency hands-on skills(24.53±1.85 points),surgical coordination skills(27.65±1.87 points),emergency coordination skills(25.34±1.83 points),and patient condition observation skills(24.34±1.79 points)were significantly higher than those of the control group(20.78±1.74 points,26.31±1.95 points,22.92±1.69 points,and 21.58±1.77 points,respectively).The satisfaction rate with operating room nursing education among students in the observation group(97.00%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(77.00%).All differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:The“Six-Step”Scenario-Based Teaching Method effectively enhances operating room students’mastery of theoretical knowledge,practical skills,and core comprehensive abilities,while significantly improving their teaching satisfaction.It warrants promotion and application in operating room nursing education.展开更多

Based on von Mises yield criterion and perfect elasto-plasticity model, a series of finite element models of the joint...A type of hollow cylinder joints connected with H-shaped beams is proposed for spatial structures. Based on von Mises yield criterion and perfect elasto-plasticity model, a series of finite element models of the joints is established, in which the effect of geometric nonlinearity is taken into account. Then mechanical behavior and load-carrying capacity of the joints were investigated, which were subjected to axial load, in- and out-plane bending moments, and their combinations. The results show that the ultimate loads of the joints are determined by the maximum displacement. Furthermore, the case of one joint connected with multiple beams was discussed. Experiments on a set of typical full-scale joints were conducted to understand the structural behavior and the failure mechanism of joint, and also to validate the finite element models. Finally, the practical calculation method was established through finite elements analysis (FEA) results and numerical fitting. The results show that the joints are more ductile and materially economical than welded hollow spherical joints, and the practical calculation method can provide a reference for direct design and the revision of relevant design codes.展开更多

Objective: to explore the specific application effect of clinical pathway teaching method in clinical teaching of endocrinology department, improve the clinical teaching mode of endocrinology department, improve the c...Objective: to explore the specific application effect of clinical pathway teaching method in clinical teaching of endocrinology department, improve the clinical teaching mode of endocrinology department, improve the clinical teaching effect, cultivate a large number of high-quality clinical medical talents of endocrinology department, and make contributions to the development of endocrinology nursing industry in China. Methods: from June 2018 to June 2021, a total of 86 interns who practiced in the department of endocrinology in our hospital were taken as observation objects, and 86 interns were divided into two groups with the same number. The interns who received routine clinical teaching methods were divided into the control group, and the interns who received clinical pathway teaching methods were divided into the observation group. During clinical teaching in the department of endocrinology, the theoretical knowledge and professional skills of interns were regularly examined. The clinical level of the two groups of interns was compared, and the satisfaction of the two groups of interns to the teaching teachers was investigated by questionnaire. Then, the clinical teaching mode and method of endocrinology department were innovated and optimized to improve the professional level of clinical interns and the clinical teaching level of medical teachers. Results: by comparing the theoretical knowledge, case handling ability and basic operation of the two groups of interns at different stages, it can be seen that the clinical interns in endocrinology department who received clinical pathway teaching method have more solid theoretical knowledge, and their case handling ability and basic operation skills have been obviously improved, which is higher than that of the control group interns who received routine teaching. From the results of the questionnaire survey, it can be seen that the scores of the interns in the observation group to the teachers in the control group are much higher, and the satisfaction of the teachers in the observation group to the interns in the observation group is higher than that in the control group. The satisfaction score of interns in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. Conclusion: there is a huge talent gap in endocrinology department. In order to improve the medical and nursing quality of endocrinology department, it is necessary to speed up the training of interns. The clinical teaching method can effectively improve the professional level of medical interns in endocrinology department, and the clinical pathway teaching method can promote the balanced improvement of theoretical knowledge and professional skills of interns, strengthen the interns' case handling ability and basic operation skills, and effectively meet the demand of medical talents in endocrinology department of hospitals. It is suggested that clinical pathway teaching method should be used reasonably in future clinical teaching.展开更多

He believes that only literal translation can reflect Chinese medical concepts accurately. The so-called ＂word-for-word＂ translation is actually ＂English-word-for- Chinese-character＂ translation. First, the authors of the dictionary made a list of Single Characters with English Equivalents, and then they gave each character of the medical term an English equivalent according to the list. Finally, they made some minor modifications to make the rendering grammatically smoother. Many English terms thus produced are confusing. The defect of the word-for-word literal translation stems from the erroneous idea that a single character constitutes the basic element of meaning corresponding to the notion of ＂word＂ in English, and the meaning of a disyllabic or polysyllabic Chinese word is the simple addition of the constituent characters. Another big mistake is the negligence of the polysemy of Chinese characters. One or two English equivalents can by no means cover all the various meanings of a single character which is a polysemous monosyllabic word. Various examples were cited from this dictionary to illustrate the mistakes.展开更多

Background: Handling of medicines is a day-to-day activity by patients and many health care providers. However, multiple studies have brought to light inappropriate disposal methods for expired and unused medication (...Background: Handling of medicines is a day-to-day activity by patients and many health care providers. However, multiple studies have brought to light inappropriate disposal methods for expired and unused medication (EUM). Improper disposal of expired and unused medicines is hazardous both to humans and the environment. Objective: This sought to measure patients’ knowledge, attitude, and practices on disposal methods of EUM. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out among 384 patients at three outpatient pharmacies at the University Teaching Hospitals (UTHs). The structured questionnaire was used to collect data and STAT version 15.1 was used to analyse the data. Results: 384 respondents participated in this study and, at some point, had EUM. In this study, 356 (92.7%) of the participants reported that they had never heard of a drug take-back system. Most of the participants 285 (74.2%) and 239 (62.2%) kept and donated their unused medicine, respectively. Additionally, 244 (63.5%), 212 (55.2%), and 176 (44.8%) of the participants disposed of expired medicines in the bin or garbage, flushed them in toilets or sinks, or burned them, respectively. Occupation was significantly associated with unsafe disposal of unused medicine [P-value = 0.019]. Conclusion and Relevance: Knowledge of safe disposal methods for EUM was good amongst most participants. However, used unsafe disposal methods. The majority of the participants exhibited positive attitude concerning safe disposal methods. This study highlights the need for drug-take-back program creation in Zambia.展开更多

Methods: 100 pediatric clinical interns from Dezhou Women and Childrens Hospital were randomly divided into two groups and 50 cases each, with different teaching modes to compare the teaching effect. Results: after the intervention, the DREEM, SRSSDL, theoretical and practical tests and teacher evaluation scores of the study group were significantly higher (P <0.05), and the overall teaching satisfaction was significantly higher compared with the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: the PBL teaching method has a high value in the clinical practice teaching of pediatric neurological diseases, and can significantly improve the teaching environment and learning results of interns, which is worth popularizing.展开更多

For students practice and training, schools and related enterprises have done a lot of research in the past period of time, forming a relatively perfect practice and training system, but there are still many deficiencies. In view of this, this paper studies a new way and method, taking the complexity of the combination model of theory and practice as the research perspective, and focuses on changing the current single training model in the practice teaching of higher vocational colleges, forming a set of systematic and perfect training guidance scheme, in order to better serve the students practice and training.

文摘Objective: to explore the specific application effect of clinical pathway teaching method in clinical teaching of endocrinology department, improve the clinical teaching mode of endocrinology department, improve the clinical teaching effect, cultivate a large number of high-quality clinical medical talents of endocrinology department, and make contributions to the development of endocrinology nursing industry in China. Methods: from June 2018 to June 2021, a total of 86 interns who practiced in the department of endocrinology in our hospital were taken as observation objects, and 86 interns were divided into two groups with the same number. The interns who received routine clinical teaching methods were divided into the control group, and the interns who received clinical pathway teaching methods were divided into the observation group. During clinical teaching in the department of endocrinology, the theoretical knowledge and professional skills of interns were regularly examined. The clinical level of the two groups of interns was compared, and the satisfaction of the two groups of interns to the teaching teachers was investigated by questionnaire. Then, the clinical teaching mode and method of endocrinology department were innovated and optimized to improve the professional level of clinical interns and the clinical teaching level of medical teachers. Results: by comparing the theoretical knowledge, case handling ability and basic operation of the two groups of interns at different stages, it can be seen that the clinical interns in endocrinology department who received clinical pathway teaching method have more solid theoretical knowledge, and their case handling ability and basic operation skills have been obviously improved, which is higher than that of the control group interns who received routine teaching. From the results of the questionnaire survey, it can be seen that the scores of the interns in the observation group to the teachers in the control group are much higher, and the satisfaction of the teachers in the observation group to the interns in the observation group is higher than that in the control group. The satisfaction score of interns in the observation group was higher than that in the control group. Conclusion: there is a huge talent gap in endocrinology department. In order to improve the medical and nursing quality of endocrinology department, it is necessary to speed up the training of interns. The clinical teaching method can effectively improve the professional level of medical interns in endocrinology department, and the clinical pathway teaching method can promote the balanced improvement of theoretical knowledge and professional skills of interns, strengthen the interns' case handling ability and basic operation skills, and effectively meet the demand of medical talents in endocrinology department of hospitals. It is suggested that clinical pathway teaching method should be used reasonably in future clinical teaching.

First, we should create a good reading environment, strengthen the construction of campus "scholarly" environment, and let scholarly infiltrate the environment. Secondly, let reading become a habit and consolidate the effectiveness of reading. Through holding various whole book reading activities in "Scholarly Campus", let students love reading. Using the classroom as the main position to improve the teachers teaching ability to read the whole book, the teachers explored three class-based teaching modes in practice, namely, guided reading, promotion and communication, forming a teaching mode of reading the whole book.
文摘Comments were made on the ＂word-for-word＂ literal translation method used by Mr. Nigel Wiseman in A Practical Dictionary of Chinese Medicine. He believes that only literal translation can reflect Chinese medical concepts accurately. The so-called ＂word-for-word＂ translation is actually ＂English-word-for- Chinese-character＂ translation. First, the authors of the dictionary made a list of Single Characters with English Equivalents, and then they gave each character of the medical term an English equivalent according to the list. Finally, they made some minor modifications to make the rendering grammatically smoother. Many English terms thus produced are confusing. The defect of the word-for-word literal translation stems from the erroneous idea that a single character constitutes the basic element of meaning corresponding to the notion of ＂word＂ in English, and the meaning of a disyllabic or polysyllabic Chinese word is the simple addition of the constituent characters. Another big mistake is the negligence of the polysemy of Chinese characters. One or two English equivalents can by no means cover all the various meanings of a single character which is a polysemous monosyllabic word. Various examples were cited from this dictionary to illustrate the mistakes.

文摘Open source intelligence is one of the most important public data sources for strategic information analysis. One of the primary and core issues of strategic information research is information perception,so this paper mainly expounds the perception method for strategic information perception in the open source intelligence environment as well as the framework and basic process of information perception. This paper argues that in order to match the information perception result with the information depiction result,it conducts practical exploration for the results of information acquisition,perception,depiction and analysis. This paper introduces and develops a monitoring platform for information perception. The results show that the method proposed in this paper is feasible.

文摘Background: Handling of medicines is a day-to-day activity by patients and many health care providers. However, multiple studies have brought to light inappropriate disposal methods for expired and unused medication (EUM). Improper disposal of expired and unused medicines is hazardous both to humans and the environment. Objective: This sought to measure patients’ knowledge, attitude, and practices on disposal methods of EUM. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out among 384 patients at three outpatient pharmacies at the University Teaching Hospitals (UTHs). The structured questionnaire was used to collect data and STAT version 15.1 was used to analyse the data. Results: 384 respondents participated in this study and, at some point, had EUM. In this study, 356 (92.7%) of the participants reported that they had never heard of a drug take-back system. Most of the participants 285 (74.2%) and 239 (62.2%) kept and donated their unused medicine, respectively. Additionally, 244 (63.5%), 212 (55.2%), and 176 (44.8%) of the participants disposed of expired medicines in the bin or garbage, flushed them in toilets or sinks, or burned them, respectively. Occupation was significantly associated with unsafe disposal of unused medicine [P-value = 0.019]. Conclusion and Relevance: Knowledge of safe disposal methods for EUM was good amongst most participants. However, used unsafe disposal methods. The majority of the participants exhibited positive attitude concerning safe disposal methods. This study highlights the need for drug-take-back program creation in Zambia.

文摘Objective: to explore the application value of PBL teaching method in the clinical practice teaching of pediatric neurological diseases, and to provide a reference for the clinical teaching of pediatric neurological diseases. Methods: 100 pediatric clinical interns from Dezhou Women and Childrens Hospital were randomly divided into two groups and 50 cases each, with different teaching modes to compare the teaching effect. Results: after the intervention, the DREEM, SRSSDL, theoretical and practical tests and teacher evaluation scores of the study group were significantly higher (P <0.05), and the overall teaching satisfaction was significantly higher compared with the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: the PBL teaching method has a high value in the clinical practice teaching of pediatric neurological diseases, and can significantly improve the teaching environment and learning results of interns, which is worth popularizing.
