The objectives of the present study were to evaluate the yolk-sac and oil globule absorption and point of no return (PNR) ofpikeperch (Sander lucioperca L.) larvae. Artificial propagation ofpikeperch was performed at (15±2)℃. Yolk-sac absorption, oil globule absorption, larval growth and the first initial feeding rate were observed to analyze the early growth and to determine the PNR of pikeperch larvae. The total length of newly hatched (0 day after hatching, DAH) pikeperch larvae was (4.25±0.22) mm and the volume of the yolk-sac and the oil globule was (0.30±0.12)mm^3 and (5.14±2.28) 10-2 mm^3 respectively. The yolk-sac and the oil globule were exhausted at 11 DAH and 14 DAH, respectively. Pikeperch larvae began feeding at 8 DAH with an initial feeding rate about 10.0%. From 9 to 14 DAH, the initial feeding rate increased rapidly, and reached its highest (about 82.7%) at 14 DAH. It declined thereafter, 48.9% at 15 DAH and 35.6% at 16 DAH, thus the pikeperch larvae reached PNR by 15-16 DAH. The appropriate first feeding time for the pikeperch larvae is 11-12 DAH, when the initial feeding rate is higher than half of the maximum initial feeding rate. 展开更多

The present study examined the influence of leucine metabolite β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate (HMB) on the nonspecific cellular and humoral defence mechanisms and protection against Yersinia ruckeri and Aeromonas salmonicida in juvenile pikeperch (Sander lucioperca). The fish was fed with a commercial trout pellets, containing either 0 (control group) or 50 mg HMB kg^-1 body weight day^-1 (HMB fed group). After four weeks feeding, 20 pikeperch from each group were anaesthetised and blood and pronephros samples were taken. The levels of the following immunological parameters were measured: respiratory burst activity of phagocytes, potential killing activity of phagocytes, lymphocytes proliferation stimulated by concanavaline A or lipopolisaccharide, lysozyme activity in serum, ceruloplasmin activity in serum, total protein in serum and total immunoglobulin (Ig) level in serum. A disease challenge test using Yersinia ruckeri or Aeromonas salmonicida was conducted after 4 weeks of feeding. The levels of all immunological parameters excluding ceruloplasmin activity and total protein in serum were statistically significantly higher (P 〈 0.05) in the HMB treated group compared to the control group. Feeding with HMB has led to a significant decrease in the mortality after the challenge trial with Y. ruckeri (30% lower mortality than in the control group) and with theA. salmonicida (40% lower mortality than in the control group). The current study strongly suggests that feeding pikeperch with HMB in dose 50 mg kg^-1 body weight day^-1 may improve the innate immunity and decrease the mortality rates after experimental infection with pathogenic bacteria Y. ruckeri and A. salmonicida. 展开更多

Analysis of historical and recent data is essential to understand how eutrophication and/or climate change might trigger shifts in the feeding mode of fish and trophic dynamics of shallow lakes. To assess long-term changes in the diet and growth of juvenile pikeperch (Sander lucioperca), the prey selection and growth of pikeperch fry from Lake V?rtsj?rv was investigated in 2007 - 2010 and compared with data from 1920 to 1970. Over the observed period, larger cladocerans have become less frequent in the diet as eutrophication has altered the zooplankton community. Furthermore, climate change has triggered a mismatch between the predator and its prey: the smelt population has collapsed but other fish fries are too large for YOY (young-of-the-year) pikeperch. However, the mean length of fish has decreased mainly due to the postponed diet shift. 展开更多

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the muscle protein expression in two pikeperches(Stizostedion lucioperca and S.volgense)through intra-and intermyomeric composition of white muscles.Using denaturing 10%sodium dodecylsulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis,muscle protein expression was studied in relation to within-and between-species morphological development,sex,maturity and age of pikeperches.Myosin,actin and troponin have a distinct role in the contraction and length tension of muscle fibers of these species.No obvious intramyomeric differences were found in the myosin heavy chain of both species.Myosin light chains(15-38 kDa)have different expression in different age groups.The muscle protein of the fingerling and adult S.lucioperca had high molecular weight(50 kDa)myosin in contrast to the other Percid species.The molecular weight of actins increased comparatively in low-age-group fish.ATP is stored in myosin and released to cause contraction when myosin comes in contact with actin of the experimental fish.Troponin regulates increasing concentration of lightchain myosin in mature fish.Because troponin T has been implicated in the regulation of skeletal muscle kinetics,muscle contraction kinetics was predicted in different age groups.The muscle proteins of both sexes of these species have polymorphism in various age groups but have no difference in similar aged fish.No muscle protein dimorphism was found in these Percid species.The white muscle protein composition and contractile properties affect power production during fast,unsteady movement and swimming. 展开更多

为了筛选可用于遗传选育的标记,用微卫星标记分析了梭鲈快速生长品系F3群体的遗传结构,评估了不同基因型与生长性状(体质量、全长、体长、体高、体厚、头长、吻长、尾柄高、尾柄长)的相关性。遗传结构评估结果显示:群体平均等位基因数为... 为了筛选可用于遗传选育的标记,用微卫星标记分析了梭鲈快速生长品系F3群体的遗传结构,评估了不同基因型与生长性状(体质量、全长、体长、体高、体厚、头长、吻长、尾柄高、尾柄长)的相关性。遗传结构评估结果显示:群体平均等位基因数为4.5,观测杂合度为0.746(0.520~0.954),期望杂合度为0.691(0.441~0.851),平均多态信息含量为0.641(0.412~0.843),群体处于高度多态水平(PIC>0.5)。基因型与性状关联分析结果显示38个微卫星标记与至少1个性状表现出不同程度的相关性(P<0.05),其中HLJSL018、HLJSL021、HLJSL022等21个标记与相应性状的相关性达到极显著水平(P<0.01)。9个性状检测到2~21个显著相关的微卫星标记,与体长呈显著相关的标记最少(HLJSL039和HLJSL042)(P<0.05);与尾柄高呈显著相关的标记最多(21个),其中HLJSL018、HLJSL021和HLJSL022等11个标记与其呈极显著相关(P<0.01)。与体质量呈显著相关的标记有8个,其中HLJSL018和HLJSL067与其呈极显著相关(P<0.01)。以高于总体均值且比例达5%以上为优势基因型的筛选标准,在38个标记共获得195个优势基因型,每个标记获得1~10个优势基因型,其中HLJSL073获得优势基因型最少,HLJSL079获得优势基因型最多。本研究评估了梭鲈选育群体的遗传结构,获得了与性状显著相关的标记,研究结果可用于指导梭鲈遗传选育。 展开更多

梭鲈(Sander lucioperca)因其肉质细嫩、营养价值高、无肌间刺,已经成为欧亚国家的重要养殖对象。目前国内还没有梭鲈专用配合饲料,无法满足梭鲈养殖生产需求。本文综述了梭鲈对饲料蛋白质、脂肪、矿物质和维生素等主要营养素需求量及... 梭鲈(Sander lucioperca)因其肉质细嫩、营养价值高、无肌间刺,已经成为欧亚国家的重要养殖对象。目前国内还没有梭鲈专用配合饲料,无法满足梭鲈养殖生产需求。本文综述了梭鲈对饲料蛋白质、脂肪、矿物质和维生素等主要营养素需求量及蛋白源、脂肪源和功能性饲料添加剂利用的研究进展,为梭鲈营养需求及研发其配合饲料提供参考。梭鲈幼鱼的蛋白质需求量为47.0%~57.7%,脂肪的需求量为10%,磷脂的需求量为8.2%~9.5%。梭鲈幼鱼能较好地利用动物蛋白原料,一些功能性添加剂对梭鲈的生长和免疫有一定的促进功效。但不同规格梭鲈的精准营养需求量、鱼粉鱼油替代原料以及功能性饲料添加剂的研究还较少,也不够系统和全面。 展开更多

该研究旨在比较梭鲈与加州鲈和鳜鱼的营养成分与风味品质,科学评价其食用价值。分别测定了3种鱼肌肉的常规养分、氨基酸、脂肪酸、矿物元素、肌苷酸含量及肌肉组织学性状,结果表明:梭鲈肌肉粗蛋白水平(20.99%)显著高于加州鲈(18.63%)和... 该研究旨在比较梭鲈与加州鲈和鳜鱼的营养成分与风味品质,科学评价其食用价值。分别测定了3种鱼肌肉的常规养分、氨基酸、脂肪酸、矿物元素、肌苷酸含量及肌肉组织学性状,结果表明:梭鲈肌肉粗蛋白水平(20.99%)显著高于加州鲈(18.63%)和鳜鱼(18.90%)(P<0.05),粗脂肪水平(0.63%)显著低于加州鲈(4.58%)和鳜鱼(2.56%)(P<0.05),粗灰分差异则无统计学意义(P>0.05)。梭鲈肌肉中总氨基酸、总必需氨基酸、总非必需氨基酸、5种甜味氨基酸及2种鲜味氨基酸总量均显著高于加州鲈和鳜鱼(P<0.05),3种鱼肌肉的氨基酸评分、化学评分及必需氨基酸指数均较接近,EAA/TAA超过40%。梭鲈与加州鲈的PUFAs、DHA和EPA相对含量均显著高于鳜鱼(P<0.05),鳜鱼肌肉单不饱和脂肪酸和亚麻酸相对含量显著高于梭鲈和加州鲈(P<0.05)。此外,梭鲈的花生四烯酸和棕榈酸含量显著高于加州鲈和鳜鱼(P<0.05)。梭鲈肌肉钾、磷、镁含量显著高于加州鲈和鳜鱼(P<0.05),3种鱼肌肉中11种微量元素(铝、锌、铁、铜、总砷、钡、锰、铅、铬、镍、镉)的含量均无明显差异(P>0.05)。梭鲈肌肉的鲜味氨基酸、甜味氨基酸、肌苷酸(IMP)、PUFAs、钾元素等风味物质含量均高于加州鲈和鳜鱼(P<0.05)。 展开更多
