Parvovirus B19,a small,single-stranded DNA virus,occurs worldwide in sporadic cases or within clustered outbreaks.There are three genotypes within the Erythroparvovirus genus.Parvovirus B19 genotype 1 is the predominant one,while genotypes 2 and 3 are found much less frequently.1 The main route of transmission is via respiratory particles.It shows a variety of clinical presentations in immunocompetent patients.Most of them report non-specific symptoms whereas 25%of them will be asymptomatic. 展开更多
