The UV absorption spectra of o-naphthol,α-naphthylamine,2,7-dihydroxy naphthalene,2,4-dimethoxy ben- zaldehyde and methyl salicylate,overlap severely;therefore it is impossible to determine them in mixtures by traditional spectrophotometric methods.In this paper,the partial least-squares(PLS)regression is applied to the simultaneous determination of these compounds in mixtures by UV spectrophtometry without any pretreatment of the samples.Ten synthetic mixture samples are analyzed by the proposed method.The mean recoveries are 99.4%,996%,100.2%,99.3% and 99.1%,and the relative standard deviations(RSD) are 1.87%,1.98%,1.94%,0.960% and 0.672%,respectively. 展开更多

Near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS), a non-destructive measurement technique, was combined with partial least squares regression discrimiant analysis (PLS-DA) to discriminate the transgenic (TCTP and mi166) and wild type (Zhonghua 11) rice. Furthermore, rice lines transformed with protein gene (OsTCTP) and regulation gene (Osmi166) were also discriminated by the NIRS method. The performances of PLS-DA in spectral ranges of 4 000-8 000 cm-1 and 4 000-10 000 cm-1 were compared to obtain the optimal spectral range. As a result, the transgenic and wild type rice were distinguished from each other in the range of 4 000-10 000 cm-1, and the correct classification rate was 100.0% in the validation test. The transgenic rice TCTP and mi166 were also distinguished from each other in the range of 4 000-10 000 cm-1, and the correct classification rate was also 100.0%. In conclusion, NIRS combined with PLS-DA can be used for the discrimination of transgenic rice. 展开更多

The Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is a fast, non-contact, no sample preparation analytic technology;it is very suitable for on-line analysis of alloy composition. In the copper smelting industry, analysis and control of the copper alloy concentration affect the quality of the products greatly, so LIBS is an efficient quantitative analysis tech- nology in the copper smelting industry. But for the lead brass, the components of Pb, Al and Ni elements are very low and the atomic emission lines are easily submerged under copper complex characteristic spectral lines because of the matrix effects. So it is difficult to get the online quantitative result of these important elements. In this paper, both the partial least squares (PLS) method and the calibration curve (CC) method are used to quantitatively analyze the laser induced breakdown spectroscopy data which is obtained from the standard lead brass alloy samples. Both the major and trace elements were quantitatively analyzed. By comparing the two results of the different calibration method, some useful results were obtained: both for major and trace elements, the PLS method was better than the CC method in quantitative analysis. And the regression coefficient of PLS method is compared with the original spectral data with background interference to explain the advantage of the PLS method in the LIBS quantitative analysis. Results proved that the PLS method used in laser induced breakdown spectroscopy was suitable for simultaneous quantitative analysis of different content elements in copper smelting industry. 展开更多

With recent advances in biotechnology, genome-wide association study (GWAS) has been widely used to identify genetic variants that underlie human complex diseases and traits. In case-control GWAS, typical statistical strategy is traditional logistical regression (LR) based on single-locus analysis. However, such a single-locus analysis leads to the well-known multiplicity problem, with a risk of inflating type I error and reducing power. Dimension reduction-based techniques, such as principal component-based logistic regression (PC-LR), partial least squares-based logistic regression (PLS-LR), have recently gained much attention in the analysis of high dimensional genomic data. However, the perfor- mance of these methods is still not clear, especially in GWAS. We conducted simulations and real data application to compare the type I error and power of PC-LR, PLS-LR and LR applicable to GWAS within a defined single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) set region. We found that PC-LR and PLS can reasonably control type I error under null hypothesis. On contrast, LR, which is corrected by Bonferroni method, was more conserved in all simulation settings. In particular, we found that PC-LR and PLS-LR had comparable power and they both outperformed LR, especially when the causal SNP was in high linkage disequilibrium with genotyped ones and with a small effective size in simulation. Based on SNP set analysis, we applied all three methods to analyze non-small cell lung cancer GWAS data. 展开更多

Boreal forests play an important role in global environment systems. Understanding boreal forest ecosystem structure and function requires accurate monitoring and estimating of forest canopy and biomass. We used partial least square regression (PLSR) models to relate forest parameters, i.e. canopy closure density and above ground tree biomass, to Landsat ETM+ data. The established models were optimized according to the variable importance for projection (VIP) criterion and the bootstrap method, and their performance was compared using several statistical indices. All variables selected by the VIP criterion passed the bootstrap test (p〈0.05). The simplified models without insignificant variables (VIP 〈1) performed as well as the full model but with less computation time. The relative root mean square error (RMSE%) was 29% for canopy closure density, and 58% for above ground tree biomass. We conclude that PLSR can be an effective method for estimating canopy closure density and above ground biomass. 展开更多

In several LUCC studies, statistical methods are being used to analyze land use data. A problem using conventional statistical methods in land use analysis is that these methods assume the data to be statistically independent. But in fact, they have the tendency to be dependent, a phenomenon known as multicollinearity, especially in the cases of few observations. In this paper, a Partial Least-Squares (PLS) regression approach is developed to study relationships between land use and its influencing factors through a case study of the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region in China. Multicollinearity exists in the dataset and the number of variables is high compared to the number of observations. Four PLS factors are selected through a preliminary analysis. The correlation analyses between land use and influencing factors demonstrate the land use character of rural industrialization and urbanization in the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou region, meanwhile illustrate that the first PLS factor has enough ability to best describe land use patterns quantitatively, and most of the statistical relations derived from it accord with the fact. By the decreasing capacity of the PLS factors, the reliability of model outcome decreases correspondingly. 展开更多

An approach combined the normalization methods with the partial least squares(PLS) method are developed for quantitative analysis of molybdenum(Mo) element in the multi-component alloy,which is the first wall material in the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak. In this study, the different spectral normalization methods(total spectral area normalization,background normalization, and reference line normalization) are investigated for reducing the uncertainty and improving the accuracy of spectral measurement. The results indicates that the approach of PLS based on inter-element interference is significantly better than the conventional PLS methods as well as the univariate linear methods in the various pressure for molybdenum element analysis. 展开更多

基于VMD-PLSR算法和拉曼光谱的运动饮料成分检测方法研究

检测运动饮料成分对保护消费者健康安全和保障企业生产质量具有重要的应用价值。随着运动饮料市场的快速扩展,消费者对于饮料成分的安全性和真实性的关注日益增加。因此,迫切需要一种高效的检测方法,以满足市场需求并保障消费者权益。... 检测运动饮料成分对保护消费者健康安全和保障企业生产质量具有重要的应用价值。随着运动饮料市场的快速扩展,消费者对于饮料成分的安全性和真实性的关注日益增加。因此,迫切需要一种高效的检测方法,以满足市场需求并保障消费者权益。本研究旨在开发一种基于变分模态分解(VMD)和偏最小二乘回归(PLSR)算法相结合的拉曼光谱技术,用于运动饮料成分的快速、准确检测。首先,通过拉曼光谱技术获取多种运动饮料样品的光谱数据。拉曼光谱往往受到噪声、基线漂移及其他干扰因素的影响,导致分析结果的准确性降低。为了解决这一问题,本文引入了VMD算法将复杂信号分解为多个模态,能够有效提取出信号中的重要特征,减少噪声对分析结果的干扰。采用PLSR算法对经过VMD处理的光谱特征进行建模,通过交叉验证和外部验证,评估模型的预测能力和稳定性,其中测试集的R 2和RMSE分别为0.9759和0.0024,低浓度应用测试环节中R 2为0.8901。结果表明VMD-PLSR方法在成分检测中的准确度和鲁棒性显著优于传统的回归分析方法。综上所述,基于VMD-PLSR算法和拉曼光谱的运动饮料成分检测方法展示了良好的应用潜力,为运动饮料的质量控制和成分分析提供了一种高效、可靠的技术手段。未来的工作将着重于优化算法参数,并扩展该方法在其他食品和饮料成分检测中的应用,以进一步提升食品安全检测的效率和准确性。 展开更多

梨汤是一种传统的梨加工制品,该文以雪花梨、鸭梨、安梨和苹果梨为原料制备梨汤,并比较其感官品质、风味特征、理化特性和风味物质组成等。梨汤为黄白至黄褐色,滋味酸甜,有鲜梨特有的香气和甜香味,感官评分雪花梨>苹果梨>鸭梨>... 梨汤是一种传统的梨加工制品,该文以雪花梨、鸭梨、安梨和苹果梨为原料制备梨汤,并比较其感官品质、风味特征、理化特性和风味物质组成等。梨汤为黄白至黄褐色,滋味酸甜,有鲜梨特有的香气和甜香味,感官评分雪花梨>苹果梨>鸭梨>安梨。4种梨汤对DPPH自由基的清除率均大于80%,可溶性固形物、pH值、可滴定酸、固酸比、褐变度、浊度和色度等指标有差异。电子鼻和电子舌分析能有效区分4种梨汤。梨汤中可溶性糖主要为果糖,有机酸主要为苹果酸、柠檬酸和奎宁酸,检出醛、酯、醇、烷等挥发性物质64种并确认香气活性成分21种,品种间糖、酸和挥发性成分组成差异显著。偏最小二乘判别分析结果显示,4品种梨汤的差异性风味特征为苦味回味、涩味及W1C、W1W、W3C和W2W传感器,差异性特征成分为葡萄糖、莽草酸、果糖、奎宁酸、草酸、乳酸、壬醛、α-法呢烯、正辛醇等32种物质。结果可以为梨汤类产品的品种选择、营养和功能性及品质评价提供参考。 展开更多

建立BP模型用于近红外光谱定量分析时,为克服所建模型与训练样本集产生“过拟合”,先用线性算法为其压缩训练数据是必要的。目前多采用主成分法(PCA)和逐步回归法(SRA)。主成分法具有极强的压缩数据能力,用它压缩成的主成分输入BP网所... 建立BP模型用于近红外光谱定量分析时,为克服所建模型与训练样本集产生“过拟合”,先用线性算法为其压缩训练数据是必要的。目前多采用主成分法(PCA)和逐步回归法(SRA)。主成分法具有极强的压缩数据能力,用它压缩成的主成分输入BP网所建模型的预测精度一般能满足要求,但它处理数据时未考虑输出变量的影响。逐步回归法根据系统输出选择变量,但所选变量具有自相关性,而且与训练集样品的排列顺序有关,很难选出最好的变量,往往难满足预测精度要求。本研究用偏最小二乘法(PLS),根据输出变量将原始数据压缩为主成分,输入BP网并用所建模型预测30个小麦样品的蛋白质含量。结果表明,与PCA-BP模型的预测决定系数(R2)从92.50提高到97.10,训练迭代次数从12 000减少到4 500。 展开更多

为了考察卷烟材料(卷烟纸、接装纸、成型纸和滤棒)和膨胀梗丝多因素作用对卷烟燃烧锥最高温度以及焦油、烟碱和主流烟气中7种有害成分(CO,HCN,NNK,NH3,B[a]P,苯酚和巴豆醛)释放量的影响,采用偏最小二乘(PLS)回归法建立了卷烟燃烧锥最高... 为了考察卷烟材料(卷烟纸、接装纸、成型纸和滤棒)和膨胀梗丝多因素作用对卷烟燃烧锥最高温度以及焦油、烟碱和主流烟气中7种有害成分(CO,HCN,NNK,NH3,B[a]P,苯酚和巴豆醛)释放量的影响,采用偏最小二乘(PLS)回归法建立了卷烟燃烧锥最高温度以及焦油、烟碱和主流烟气中7种有害成分释放量的多因素预测模型。结果表明:1卷烟燃烧锥最高温度的主要影响因素为卷烟纸助燃剂含量。随卷烟纸助燃剂含量增加,卷烟燃烧锥最高温度有降低趋势。2焦油、烟碱和主流烟气7种有害成分释放量的主要影响因素为接装纸透气度。随接装纸透气度增加,焦油、烟碱和主流烟气7种有害成分释放量有降低趋势。3随卷烟纸助燃剂和膨胀梗丝含量的增加,焦油、烟碱及主流烟气7种有害成分的释放量有降低趋势。适当增加接装纸透气度、卷烟纸助燃剂含量和膨胀梗丝含量,可在一定程度上调控卷烟燃烧锥温度,降低卷烟烟气有害成分释放量。 展开更多

植被变化往往受到不同气候变量的综合作用,人类活动影响又使得植被对气候响应变得更为复杂,如何准确判别各种影响因素的相对重要性是植被变化归因研究中的一个关键点。研究基于偏最小二乘(PLS)回归方法,使用1982—2006年的归一化植被指... 植被变化往往受到不同气候变量的综合作用,人类活动影响又使得植被对气候响应变得更为复杂,如何准确判别各种影响因素的相对重要性是植被变化归因研究中的一个关键点。研究基于偏最小二乘(PLS)回归方法,使用1982—2006年的归一化植被指数(NDVI)数据,分析了降水、气温、日照、相对湿度和风等气候变量对中国东部植被变化的相对影响,并选取了NDVI变化较为典型的区域,量化了农业活动对该地区植被变化的相对贡献。PLS回归方法兼具了主成分分析和多元回归的优点,克服了众多自变量之间存在强烈交互相关导致的多元共线性问题。研究结果表明:1 1982—2006年间,中国东部逐月NDVI的年际变化呈现出明显的南北差异。在12、1—5月,NDVI以显著上升为主,上升区域主要位于淮河以北。在6—10月,NDVI以显著下降为主,下降区域主要为淮河以南的部分区域,特别是6月江苏一带NDVI的大范围下降尤为明显。不过与NDVI发生显著变化的区域相比,更多区域的NDVI在各月并没有出现显著变化。2在NDVI显著上升的站点,对NDVI变化最具解释意义的气候变量为气温,特别是冬末春初(2—3月)的升温对黄淮海区域NDVI的显著上升具有主导控制作用。而对于NDVI显著下降的站点,多数都不能从气候角度解释这些区域的NDVI变化。3江苏省NDVI在6月出现的大范围显著下降,与农业种植结构的调整,主要是棉花种植面积的减少以及油菜面积的增加具有显著关系。 展开更多

利用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA判别分析方法可用于食品、药品和农产品等的快速识别或检测,因此,研究利用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA方法来检测木材的生物腐朽。研究结果表明:应用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA方法对培训集样本建立的判别模型,其校正及验... 利用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA判别分析方法可用于食品、药品和农产品等的快速识别或检测,因此,研究利用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA方法来检测木材的生物腐朽。研究结果表明:应用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA方法对培训集样本建立的判别模型,其校正及验证结果与实际分类变量的相关系数均超过0.94,SEC和SEP都低于0.17;利用模型对未参与建模的样本进行检测,发现该模型对未腐朽、白腐和褐腐三种类型样本的判别准确率均为100%(偏差均小于0.5);与SIMCA法相比,PLS-DA法对木材生物腐朽样本的判别准确率更高,说明应用近红外光谱结合PLS-DA方法能快速地检测到木材的生物腐朽,并能准确地判别出木材的生物腐朽类型。 展开更多
