The strategic incorporation of oxyphilic metals to precisely regulate Pt-based electronic structures emerges as a promising approach for boosting alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)activity and CO poisoning resi...The strategic incorporation of oxyphilic metals to precisely regulate Pt-based electronic structures emerges as a promising approach for boosting alkaline hydrogen oxidation reaction(HOR)activity and CO poisoning resistance.Herein,we successfully prepare the Mn/Pt-PtS catalyst,which exhibits a linear structure composed of stacked nano particles.The Mn integration simultaneously enhances charge transfer kinetics and electrical conductivity while optimizing reaction dynamics.In situ attenuated total reflection surface-enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy(ATR-SEIRAS)characterization further demonstrates that Mn incorporation facilitates the establishment of enhanced hydrogen-bond networks,thereby promoting HOR processes.Remarkably,the Mn/Pt-PtS catalyst achieves exceptional performance with a j_(0,s)of 1.95 mA cm^(-2)and maintains robust CO tolerance even under 1000 ppm CO exposure.Combined experimental and theo retical analyses reveal synergistic electronic interactions within the catalyst system,which induce d-band center downshifting,optimize intermediate adsorption strength,and reduce reaction energy barriers.展开更多

There are many surprises when applied to the discussion of natural occurrences. A modified classification of ele- ments based on basic chemical properties and their occurrences. A modified classification of elements based on basic chemical properties and their occurrences in nature is, therefore, proposed for students learning geochemistry and geologists working in the field. Elements are classified into six groups including lithophile, oxyphile, siderophile, chalcophile, biophile, and at- mophile elements. Five terms are taken from Goldshcmidt’s original classification. Oncocytoma can occur in va...The term "oncocyte" was first used by Hamperl in 1950 to describe a kind of large, highly eosinophilic, granular tumour cell. Oncocytoma refers to the tumour that is composed of oncocytes. Oncocytoma can occur in various organs throughout the body, commonly salivary glands, thyroid or kidney and less commonly in lung, parathyroid gland, ovary or pituitary gland. Adrenocortical oncocytomas are rare: only 46 cases have been reported worldwide in the literature.2-6 Most of adrenal masses were resected by open operations.3-7 An oncocytoma of the adrenal gland was diagnosed and treated in our hospital recently. Retroperitoneal laparoscopy was performed to remove the mass. We report our recent case and review the literature.展开更多
