In order to reduce the horizontal crossing transportation problems between coal trucks and stripping trucks,large and small vehicles,and transport trucks and belt conveyors at key points of open pit mine in production,the separate transportation mode of underpass bridge and overpass steel trestle is proposed to optimize the open pit development transportation system,so as to solve the practical problems that the horizontal cross of transport vehicles causes vehicle blockage,affects production schedule and production safety.The results show that the horizontal crossing road can be changed into a separate type of overpass steel trestle,which can realize the classified transportation of large and small vehicles,reduce the traffic density,make vehicles with different functions go their own way,eliminate the hidden danger of traffic accidents,and improve the production efficiency. 展开更多

The Podilskyi Arch bridge is crossing the Dnipro River in center of Kiev and is part of a 7.4 km long link which connects the center of Kiev with the “sleeping district” on the left bank of the river. The bridge has a main span of 344 m intended for six lanes of vehicles in the top level and two metro lines in the bottom level plus large diameter water pipes. The bridge is of steel, except of the reinforced concrete bases of the lower parts of the arches. The draft design works began in 1991 and in 2005 parallel design and construction work started. Due to the financial crisis in Ukraine, the work was interrupted for several years but construction recommenced in 2018 and the bridge is now planned to be completed in 2020 and the first stage of the transition in 2022. 展开更多

To analyze the characteristics of ground vibration caused by blasting demolition of urban overpass, in this paper we introduced the measurement method and then studied the characteristics of recorded ground vi- brations. Through the analysis of peak acceleration, peak frequency and duration, results indicated that the ver- tical component of vibration is the most important in the region close to the collapse point; the collapse of bridge segments will lead to superposition of ground vibration, and isolation measures can reduce the peak ac- celeration but increase the duration of vibration; blasting and collapse vibration cause no damage to the re- served structure which indicates that blastin~ demolition is a safe and effective method. 展开更多

With the rapid development of socialist modern economy, the construction of railway transportation facilities in China is also improving. At present, China's railway construction is mostly the construction of long-span continuous beam or multi span railway business line. The railway construction of multi span passenger overpass beam needs very complicated construction procedures, which is easy to produce large safety risks in the process of cast-in-place beam. Therefore, during the construction of multi span passenger overpass continuous beam railway business line, constructors must adopt various safety protection measures such as covering, isolation and reinforcement, avoid high-risk points to the greatest extent, fully understand the actual situation of construction, and select and apply appropriate construction scheme, so as to improve the quality and safety of railway construction. Based on this, this paper makes an in-depth analysis on the safety protection measures for the construction of multi span passenger overpass railway business line, and puts forward relevant suggestions on the safety management and implementation cases of the construction of additional passenger overpass in high-speed railway operation stations. The new overpass across multiple railway tracks and multiple passenger platforms at the high-speed railway station in operation has great safety risks to the high-speed trains, existing railway equipment, facilities, passengers and pedestrians. The safety monitoring, inspection contents and methods formulated according to the risk situation have a certain reference value for the bridge construction across the existing railway. 展开更多

Through on-site defect investigation,special inspection,and finite element simulation calculation of a high-speed upper-span(30+32+30)m prestressed concrete box girder bridge,the overall sliding force of the bridge on the right side of platform 0#is analyzed.In this situation,typical defects such as overall girder slippage,support dislocation,pier column deviation,and pier bottom side cracks have occurred in the overpass.At the same time,combined with simulation calculation analysis,it is interpreted that the 0#and 1#foundation has been damaged at a certain position below the ground line.The occurrence of broken piles has provided a reliable basis for the later reinforcement and maintenance of the bridge and ideas for emergency inspection and analysis of bridges damaged by the same type of landslides. 展开更多

Identification of contributing factors to pedestrian overpass selection 被引量:1

In order to improve the efficiency of overpass and the safety level of pedestrian, this paper aims to investigate the contributing factors for selective preference of overpass. Eight overpasses were investigated in Xi'an, and a questionnaire was conducted by the pedestrians near the overpass. Totally, 1131 valid samples (873 used of overpasses and 258 non-used of overpasses) were collected. Based on the data, a binary logit (BL) model was developed to identify what and how the factors affect the selective preference of overpass. The BL model was calibrated by the maximum likelihood method. Likelihood ratio test and McFadden-R2 were used to analyze the goodness-of-fit of the model. The results show that the BL model has a reasonable goodness-of-fit, and the prediction accuracy of the BL model can reach 81.9%. The BL model showed that the selective preference of overpass was signifi- cantly influenced by eight factors, including gender, age, career, education level, license, detour wishes, detour distance, and crossing time. Besides, the odds ratios of significant factors were also analyzed to explain the impacts of the factors on selective preference of overpass. 展开更多
