Air Traffic Operation Complexity Analysis Based on Metrics System

In order to quantitatively analyze air traffic operation complexity,multidimensional metrics were selected based on the operational characteristics of traffic flow.The kernel principal component analysis method was utilized to reduce the dimensionality of metrics,therefore to extract crucial information in the metrics.The hierarchical clustering method was used to analyze the complexity of different airspace.Fourteen sectors of Guangzhou Area Control Center were taken as samples.The operation complexity of traffic situation in each sector was calculated based on real flight radar data.Clustering analysis verified the feasibility and rationality of the method,and provided a reference for airspace operation and management. 展开更多

Two Approaches for Indirect Teleportation with Partially Entangled States

Teleportation of a qubit with two partially entangled qubit states linking three nodes as quantum channels is extensively studied via the usual ancilla method. With the method two realization approaches, i.e., the node progression approach and the global accumulation approach, are presented. Their resource consumptions, operation complexities, and el^ciencies axe evaluated and compared. It is found that the latter approach is better than the former one besides the error is partially self-corrected. The latter approach is further improved so that two merits are resultant. The improved version is compared with a similar protocol [M.Y. Wang and F.L. Yah, Eur. Phys. J. D 54 (2009) 111]. Their merits and additional costs are exposed. 展开更多

Flexible conductive fibers are essential for wearable electronics and smart electronic textiles.However,in complex operating conditions,conductive fibers will inevitably fracture or damage.Herein,we have developed an elastic conductive self-healable fiber(C-SHF),of which the electrical and mechanical properties can efficiently heal in a wide operating range,including room temperature,underwater,and low temperature.This advantage can be owed to the combination of reversible covalent imine bond and disulfide bond,as well as the instantaneous self-healing ability of liquid metal.The C-SHF,with stretchability,conductivity stability,and universal self-healing properties,can be used as an electrical signal transmission line at high strain and under different operating conditions.Besides,C-SHF was assembled into a double-layer capacitor structure to construct a self-healable sensor,which can effectively respond to pressure as a wearable motion detector. 展开更多

The terrain in hilly and mountainous regions is characterized by its discontinuity,constant undulations,and complex environment,leading to significant vibrations and potential tipping over of operating machinery.Traditional crawler chassis face challenges when encountering uneven terrain,with one side possibly being suspended and causing tipping.This study introduces a crawler chassis with a split structure to address this issue.The split design allows for crossing obstacles on one side,enabling better adaptation to the dynamic terrain of hilly and mountainous areas,ultimately maximizing the chassis’performance.Through research,it was found that the split structure effectively prevents single-sided crawler suspension,allowing for a maximum longitudinal slope angle of 42.3°,transverse slope angle of 27.38°,and a maximum ravine width of 445 mm.The prototype testing confirmed that the chassis can handle slopes of up to 41°on both sides and 30°on one side,with a maximum ravine width of 430 mm.Considering that the typical cultivated land angle in hilly and mountainous regions ranges from 2°to 15°,the designed chassis is well-suited for driving operations in underground farmland within such areas. 展开更多

A printable artificial muscle assembled from biomolecular motors,which we have recently developed,showed great potential in overcoming the design limitations of conventional biohybrid robots as a new bioactuator.Characterizing its contractility for extending its applicability is important.However,conventional measurement methods are composed of complex operations with poor reproducibility,flexibility,and real-time responsiveness.This study presents a new method for measuring the contractile force generated by artificial muscles.A measurement system was constructed,wherein artificial muscles were patterned by UV laser scanning in an oil-sealed microchamber,and the contractile force was measured in real time using a microforce sensor extended by a 3D-printed microcantilever.The measurement accuracy of the sensor was ensured through calibration and correction.For demonstration purposes,a series of contractile measurements were carried out using the proposed system.The relationship between contractile force and the dimensions of the activation space of the artificial muscles,as well as the tensile properties of the contracted muscle chain were evaluated.The results will help characterize the contractile properties of the artificial muscle and lay the foundations for its further application in biohybrid robotics. 展开更多
