The flexible and convenient mobile...With the development of the times, the contradiction between the traditional distance learning and the personalized learning needs of adult students is becoming increasingly serious. The flexible and convenient mobile learning conforms to the characteristics of adult students, which has attracted the attention of adult educators. In view of the fact that there are more theoretical studies and less empirical studies, this study, based on the open mode, adopts the experimental method to conduct an empirical study on mobile learning of Public English course in Open University of China for two years. The results show that the test marks of mobile learning teaching class are significantly better than those of conventional teaching class. This study expands the sample level of mobile learning, and provides an empirical basis for mobile learning research in adult education.展开更多
