Jin et al. [New J. Phys. 11 (2009) 073049] found that the spin squeezing sensitively depends on the polar angle θ0 of the initial coherent spin state. We show explicitly that the APEP is robust to the initial polar angle θ0 in the vicinity of π/2 and a near- Heisenberg limit 2IN in quantum single-parameter estimation may still be achieved for states created with the nonlinear evolution of the nonideal coherent spin states θ0- π/2. It is schemed for ...A relative position and attitude coupled sliding mode controller is proposed by combining the standard super twisting (ST) control and basic linear algorithm for autonomous rendezvous and docking. It is schemed for on-orbit servicing to a tumbling non- cooperative target spacecraft subjected to external disturbances. A coupled dynamic model is established including both kinemati- cal and dynamic coupled effect of relative rotation on relative translation, which illustrates the relative movement between the docking port located in target spacecraft and another in service spacecraft. The modified super twisting (MST) control algorithm containing linear compensation items is schemed to manipulate the relative position and attitude synchronously. The correction provides more robustness and convergence velocity for dealing with linearly growing perturbations than the ST control algorithm. Moreover, the stability characteristic of closed-loop system is ana- lyzed by Lyapunov method. Numerical simulations are adopted to verify the analysis with the comparison between MST and ST control algorithms. Simulation results demonstrate that the pro- posed MST controller is characterized by high precision, strong robustness and fast convergence velocity to attenuate the linearly increasing perturbations.展开更多

The control p...To enhance the realistic simulation effect of knitted fabric,a new three-dimension( 3D) twisted loop model was proposed. This model was constructed by using Non-uniform Rational B-Spline( NURBS) surface. The control points of this surface were generated through rotating the cross-section along the center path of yarn. The cross-section of yarn was generated based on the two-level hexagonal close packing model. Both of the center path and the cross-section were fitted by NURBS. With this twisted loop model,3D parametric simulation of knitted fabric was realized in 3DS MAX by utilizing MAXScript and analyzing the relationships between structure parameters( including the wale-spacing, the course-spacing,the yarn diameter,and the fabric thickness) and geometric model. The simulation of knitted fabric has 3D realistic twist effect clearly. Furthermore,the structure parameters and the twist parameters of fabric can be modified interactively.展开更多

Twisted and coiled polymer actuator(TCPA)is a type of artificial muscle that can be driven by heating due to its structure.A key issue with TCPA performance is the low driven frequency due to slow heat transfer in hea...Twisted and coiled polymer actuator(TCPA)is a type of artificial muscle that can be driven by heating due to its structure.A key issue with TCPA performance is the low driven frequency due to slow heat transfer in heating and cooling cycles,especially during cooling.We developed a numerical model of coating heating and nitrogen gas cooling that can effectively improve the driven forces and frequencies of the TCPA.Results indicate that natural cooling and electric fan cooling modes used in many experiments cannot restore the TCPA to its initial configuration when driven frequencies are high.Nitrogen gas cooling,at high driven frequencies,can fully restore the TCPA to its initial configuration,which is crucial for maintaining artificial muscle flexibility.In addition,as driven frequency increases,the corresponding driven force decreases.Systematic parametric studies were carried out to provide inspirations for optimizing TCPA design.The integrative computational study presented here provides a fundamental mechanistic understanding of the driven response in TCPA and sheds light on the rational design of TCPA through changing cooling modes.展开更多

The configurations of the helical ribbons with different cross-sectional shapes are given. The effects of the elastic properties, the cross-sectional shapes, and the intrinsic twisting on the helical ribbons are discussed. The results show that the pitch angle of the helical ribbon decreases with the increase in the ratio of the twisting rigidity to the bending rigidity and approaches the intrinsic twisting. If the bending rigidity is much greater than the twisting rigidity, the bending and twisting of the helical ribbon always appear simultaneously.展开更多

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the abirritation offufang yimucao oral liquid on pain model mice induced by hot board method and acetic acid twist body method and dysmenorrhea model mice induced by estradiol. DESIGN: Entirely randomly grouping and control experiment. SETTING: Pharmacological Laboratory, Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. MATERIALS: A total of 200 female Kunming genus mice of grade 2 and weighing 18- 21 g were collected. Fufang yimucao oral liquid, mainly consist ofyimucao, danggui, chuanxiong, muxiang, and so on, was produced by Henan Joyline & Joysun Pharmaceutical Stock Co., Ltd. (batch number: 050701); yimucao oral liquid was produced by Shangqiu Lvyuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (batch number: 050108); estradiol slice by Shanghai Xinyi Kangjie Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (batch number: 050301); YSL-6A intelligence hot plate instrument by Shandong Equipments Station of the Medical Science. METHODS: The experiment was carried out in the Animal Experiment Center of the Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine from August to November 2005. The high-, middle- and low-dosage fufang yimucao oral liquid in the experiment was 1, 0.5 and 0.25 in volume fraction, respectively, andyimucao oral liquid was 0.5. ① Among 80 mice, 60 mice were eligible in pain threshold tested by hot plate, and randomly dividing into 5 groups with 12 in each group. Mice in the high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were perfused with 1 mL, 0.5 mL and 0.25 mL/mLfufang yimucao, and mice in the yimucao group and saline group were perfused with the same volume yimucao oral liquid and saline, respectively, once a day for 3 successive days. Half an hour and one hour after administration for the last time, the range of pain was tested in hot plate and the increasing numerical value was counted. ② Another 60 mice were randomly divided into 5 groups. The grouping ways, numbers of animal and administration were as the same as those mentioned above. Forty minutes after administration for the last time, mice were given the celiac injecting with the fresh acetic acid, then observed and registered the delitescence of turned body and the times of turning in 10 minutes. ③ The rest of 60 mice were randomly divided into 6 groups with 10 in each group. The five groups were divided as the same as mentioned above, and the last group was the blank control group. Mice in the 5 former groups were given synestrin tablets CMC suspension with the dose of 2 mg/kg, 0.1 g/L and 0.2 mL/10 g once a day for 12 successive days. Ten days later, mice were administrated as the same ways and dosage mentioned above. Mice in blank control group were perfused with the same volume of saline. Two days after modeling and 40 minutes after administration, mice were injected with oxytocin to observe the latent period and the frequency of twisting reaction in 10 minutes. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Effect offufangyimucao oral liquid on mice pain model induced by hot board method, twisting body response induced by acetic acid and mice dysmenorrhea model. RESULTS: ① Effect offufang yimucao oral liquid on mice pain model induced by hot board: Thirty minutes after administration, the pain threshold ofyimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (25.42 ± 2.10), (22.40 ± 3.42), (25.24± 2.51 ) and ( 19.80 ±2.00) s, which were markedly higher than saline group [(17.98± 1.68) s, P 〈 0.05 - 0.01]. Sixty minutes after administration, the pain threshold ofyimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dosefufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (27.42 ± 2.17), (23.83 ± 2.66), (27.64 ± 2.64) and (21.51 ± 2.41 ) s, which were markedly higher than saline group [(17.8± 1.75) s, P 〈 0.01]. ② Effect offufangyimucao oral liquid on twisting body response induced by celiac injecting acetic acid: The twisting body latent period of yimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (2.43±0.19), (2.09±0.20), (2.60±0.14) and (1.85±0.35) s, which were markedly higher than saline group [(1.45±0.22) s, P 〈 0.01]. The twisting body times in 10 minutes ofyimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (14.8 ±4.0), (15.8 ± 3.5), (12.2±3.7) and (18.7±3.3) times, which were markedly lower than saline group [(25.0±5.0) times, P 〈 0.01]. ③ Effect offufangyimucao oral liquid on mice dysmenorrhea model: After injecting estradiol, the twisting body latent period ofyimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and Iow-dosefufangyimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (61.8±20.8), (105.8±29.8), (78.9± 14.0) and (71.9±20.0) s, which were higher than the saline group [(31.6± 14.71) s, P 〈 0.01]. The twisting body times in 10 minutes of yimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (18.1± 4.2), (9.5 ±2.8), (16.2 ± 3.5) and (19.9 ±4.6) times, which were lower than the saline group [(28.5 ±4.7) times, P 〈 0.01]. CONCLUSION: Fufang yimucao oral liquid has a good effect on abirritation, condignly as yimucao oral liquid, besides it does not have obvious dependent effect.展开更多
Based on the flow simulation in the condensing zone of compact spinning with lattice apron and a bead-elastic rod dynamic model of the flexible fiber,trajectories of fibers with different negative pressure are simulat...Based on the flow simulation in the condensing zone of compact spinning with lattice apron and a bead-elastic rod dynamic model of the flexible fiber,trajectories of fibers with different negative pressure are simulated by specially designed Matlab procedure.Then displacement components of fibers at YZ profile under different negative pressure conditions are extracted and compared.The results show that the fibers of different initial positions gradually converge,and are interlaced for position change in yarn cross-section,caused by the airflow in the condensing zone.Finally,compact-spun yarn with different negative pressure and conventional ring spun yarn are produced and their twists are tested.Both the results of simulation and experiments illustrate the existence of additional twists.Also the relationship between additional twists and negative pressure is verified.展开更多
Retinal angiogenesis is a critical process for normal retinal function.However,uncontrolled angiogenesis can lead to pathological neovascularization(NV),which is closely related to most irreversible blindness-causing ...Retinal angiogenesis is a critical process for normal retinal function.However,uncontrolled angiogenesis can lead to pathological neovascularization(NV),which is closely related to most irreversible blindness-causing retinal diseases.Understanding the molecular basis behind pathological NV is important for the treatment of related diseases.Twist-related protein 1(TWIST1)is a well-known transcription factor and principal inducer of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in many human cancers.Our previous study showed that Twist1 expression is elevated in pathological retinal NV.To date,however,the role of TWIST1 in retinal pathological angiogenesis remains to be elucidated.To study the role of TWIST1 in pathological retinal NV and identify specific molecular targets for antagonizing pathological NV,we generated an inducible vascular endothelial cell(EC)-specific Twist1 transgenic mouse model(Tg-Twist1iEC+).Whole-mount retinas from Tg-Twist1iEC+mice showed retarded vascular progression and increased vascular density in the front end of the growing retinal vasculature,as well as aneurysm-like pathological retinal NV.Furthermore,overexpression of Twist1 in the ECs promoted cell proliferation but disturbed cell polarity,thus leading to uncontrolled retinal angiogenesis.TWIST1 promoted pathological NV by activating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and inducing the expression of NV formation-related genes,thereby acting as a‘valve’in the regulation of pathological angiogenesis.This study identified the critical role of TWIST1 in retinal pathological NV,thus providing a potential therapeutic target for pathological NV.展开更多

The twisting body times in 10 minutes ofyimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (14.8 ±4.0), (15.8 ± 3.5), (12.2±3.7) and (18.7±3.3) times, which were markedly lower than saline group [(25.0±5.0) times, P 〈 0.01]. ③ Effect offufangyimucao oral liquid on mice dysmenorrhea model: After injecting estradiol, the twisting body latent period ofyimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and Iow-dosefufangyimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (61.8±20.8), (105.8±29.8), (78.9± 14.0) and (71.9±20.0) s, which were higher than the saline group [(31.6± 14.71) s, P 〈 0.01]. The twisting body times in 10 minutes of yimucao oral liquid group and high-, middle- and low-dose fufang yimucao oral liquid groups were respectively (18.1± 4.2), (9.5 ±2.8), (16.2 ± 3.5) and (19.9 ±4.6) times, which were lower than the saline group [(28.5 ±4.7) times, P 〈 0.01]. CONCLUSION: Fufang yimucao oral liquid has a good effect on abirritation, condignly as yimucao oral liquid, besides it does not have obvious dependent effect.
文摘Based on the flow simulation in the condensing zone of compact spinning with lattice apron and a bead-elastic rod dynamic model of the flexible fiber,trajectories of fibers with different negative pressure are simulated by specially designed Matlab procedure.Then displacement components of fibers at YZ profile under different negative pressure conditions are extracted and compared.The results show that the fibers of different initial positions gradually converge,and are interlaced for position change in yarn cross-section,caused by the airflow in the condensing zone.Finally,compact-spun yarn with different negative pressure and conventional ring spun yarn are produced and their twists are tested.Both the results of simulation and experiments illustrate the existence of additional twists.Also the relationship between additional twists and negative pressure is verified.

文摘Retinal angiogenesis is a critical process for normal retinal function.However,uncontrolled angiogenesis can lead to pathological neovascularization(NV),which is closely related to most irreversible blindness-causing retinal diseases.Understanding the molecular basis behind pathological NV is important for the treatment of related diseases.Twist-related protein 1(TWIST1)is a well-known transcription factor and principal inducer of epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in many human cancers.Our previous study showed that Twist1 expression is elevated in pathological retinal NV.To date,however,the role of TWIST1 in retinal pathological angiogenesis remains to be elucidated.To study the role of TWIST1 in pathological retinal NV and identify specific molecular targets for antagonizing pathological NV,we generated an inducible vascular endothelial cell(EC)-specific Twist1 transgenic mouse model(Tg-Twist1iEC+).Whole-mount retinas from Tg-Twist1iEC+mice showed retarded vascular progression and increased vascular density in the front end of the growing retinal vasculature,as well as aneurysm-like pathological retinal NV.Furthermore,overexpression of Twist1 in the ECs promoted cell proliferation but disturbed cell polarity,thus leading to uncontrolled retinal angiogenesis.TWIST1 promoted pathological NV by activating the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and inducing the expression of NV formation-related genes,thereby acting as a‘valve’in the regulation of pathological angiogenesis.This study identified the critical role of TWIST1 in retinal pathological NV,thus providing a potential therapeutic target for pathological NV.
