The on-line problem of scheduling on a batch processing machine with nonidentical job sizes to minimize makespan is considered. The batch processing machine can process a number of jobs simultaneously as long as the total size of these jobs being processed does not exceed the machine capacity. The processing time of a batch is given by the longest processing time of any job in the batch. Each job becomes available at its arrival time, which is unknown in advance, and its processing time becomes known upon its arrival. The paper deals with two variants: the case only with two distinct arrival times and the general case. For the first case, an on-line algorithm with competitive ratio 119/44 is given. For the latter one, a simple algorithm with competitive ratio 3 is given. For both variants the better ratios can be obtained if the problem satisfies proportional assumption. 展开更多

An integrated metallurgical model was developed to predict microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of low-carbon steel plates produced by TMCP. The metallurgical phenomena occurring during TMCP and mechanical properties were predicted for different process parameters. In the later passes full recrystallization becomes difficult to occur and higher residual strain remains in austenite after rolling. For the reasonable temperature and cooling schedule, yield strength of 30 mm plain carbon steel plate can reach 310 MPa. The first on-line application of prediction and control of microstructure and properties (PCMP) in the medium plate production was achieved. The predictions of the system are in good agreement with measurements. 展开更多

On-line Batch Process Monitoring and Diagnosing Based on Fisher Discriminant Analysis

A new on-line batch process monitoring and diagnosing approach based on Fisher discriminant analysis (FDA) was proposed. This method does not need to predict the future observations of variables, so it is more sensitive to fault detection and stronger implement for monitoring. In order to improve the monitoring performance, the variables trajectories of batch process are separated into several blocks. The key to the proposed approach for on-line monitoring is to calculate the distance of block data that project to low-dimension Fisher space between new batch and reference batch. Comparing the distance with the predefine threshold, it can be considered whether the batch process is normal or abnormal. Fault diagnosis is performed based on the weights in fault direction calculated by FDA. The proposed method was applied to the simulation model of fed-batch penicillin fermentation and the resuits were compared with those obtained using MPCA. The simulation results clearly show that the on-line monitoring method based on FDA is more efficient than the MPCA. 展开更多

随着电子商务和金融软件应用日益广泛,提高这类软件系统的可靠性和安全性就显得特别重要。虽然能够提高这类软件可靠性的事务处理技术早在数据库管理系统中普遍使用,近几年在Java软件开发环境中也新增了事务处理接口JTA,但是在基于模型... 随着电子商务和金融软件应用日益广泛,提高这类软件系统的可靠性和安全性就显得特别重要。虽然能够提高这类软件可靠性的事务处理技术早在数据库管理系统中普遍使用,近几年在Java软件开发环境中也新增了事务处理接口JTA,但是在基于模型驱动架构设计的建模语言中嵌入事务处理机制的成功案例尚不多见。论文在已有体现模型驱动软件架构思想的PAR方法和PAR平台中,融入抽象事务处理机制,并使用融入了事务处理机制的PAR平台及其建模语言开发了具有事务处理功能的金融软件模型,通过PAR平台的模型自动转换工具生成了Java和SQL程序。实验证明融入了事务处理机制的PAR方法和PAR平台具有建模简单、实用,软件开发效率高,便于形式化推导和证明等特点。 展开更多

Towards On-line Automated Semantic Scoring of English-Chinese Translation

To achieve accurate assessment, the system adopted a comprehensive method which combines semantic scoring with keyword matching scoring. Four kinds of words-verbs, adjectives, adverbs and "the rest" including nouns, pronouns, idioms, prepositions, etc., are identified after parsing. The system treats different words tagged with different part of speech differently. Then it calculated the semantic similarity between these words of the standard versions and those of students' translations by the distinctive differences of the semantic features of these words with the aid of HowNet. The first semantic feature of verbs and the last semantic features of adjectives and adverbs are calculated. "The rest" is scored by keyword matching. The experiment results show that the semantic scoring system is applicable in fulfilling the task of scoring students' on-line English-Chinese translations. 展开更多

Product quality and operation cost control obtain increasing emphases in modern chemical system engineering. To improve the fault detection power of the partial least square (PLS) method for quality control, a new QRPV statistic is proposed in terms of the VP (variable importance in projection) indices of monitored process variables, which is significantly advanced over and different from the conventional Q statistic. QRPV is calculated only by the residuals of the remarkable process variables (RPVs). Therefore, it is the dominant relation between quality and RPV not all process variables (as in the case of the conventional PLS) that is monitored by this new VP-PLS (VPLS) method. The combination of QRPV and T2 statistics is applied to the quality and cost control of the Tennessee Eastman (TE) process, and weak faults can be detected as quickly as possible. Consequently, the product quality of TE process is guaranteed and operation costs are reduced. 展开更多

Benchmarks play a crucial role in database performance evaluation,and have been effectively promoting the development of database management systems.With critical transaction processing requirements of new applications,we see an explosion of innovative database technologies for dealing with highly intensive transaction workloads(OLTP)with the obvious characteristics of sharp dynamics,terrificskewness,high contention,or high concurrency(abbr.DSC^2),which can not be well described or evaluated by current standard benchmarks.In this paper,based on the representative SecKill applications,we define a pacakge of workloads simulating intensive transactional processing requirements.And we create a general and flexible benchmark framework PeakBench for evaluating intensive OLTP workloads on databases.We are the first work to have full control on simulating DSC^2,especially for the fine granularity control for contention generation.With a comprehensive set of experiments conducted on popular open sourced DBMSs compared with the other representative OLTP benchmarks,we completely demonstrate the usefulness of PeakBench. 展开更多

【目标】为促进公路交通运输业户积极参与温室气体自愿减排项目设计及交易,助力公路交通领域降低碳排放,对公路交通运输温室气体自愿减排项目可行性决策及交易流程进行研究。【方法】基于温室气体自愿减排交易系统要素和特征,提出了以... 【目标】为促进公路交通运输业户积极参与温室气体自愿减排项目设计及交易,助力公路交通领域降低碳排放,对公路交通运输温室气体自愿减排项目可行性决策及交易流程进行研究。【方法】基于温室气体自愿减排交易系统要素和特征,提出了以公路交通运输温室气体自愿减排项目行业基准收益率(R_(s))、不考虑中国核证自愿减排量(CCER)收入时的项目内部收益率(R_(1))和考虑CCER收入时的项目内部收益率(R_(2))为主要指标的项目可行性决策模型。分析了公路交通运输温室气体自愿减排项目可行的内部收益率取值范围,研究了不同内部收益率与交易基准价格(P_(ccer))的关系,给出了公路交通运输温室气体自愿减排项目核证减排量交易流程。【结果】项目可行性判定应满足R_(1)小于R_(s),且R_(2)不小于R_(s)。在交易预期价格(P_(d)),R_(s)和R_(1)不变时,P_(ccer)随R_(2)增加而降低,项目可行性越高,同样价格条件下项目越容易完成交易决策。在P_(d),R_(s),R_(2)不变时,P_(ccer)随R_(1)增加而降低,在R_(2)大于R_(s)的条件下,R_(1)越高,项目越容易完成交易决策。在P_(d),R_(1),R_(2)不变时,P_(ccer)随R_(s)的增加而增加,R_(s)越高,同样价格条件下项目越不容易完成交易决策。【结论】通过项目可行性决策模型分析和交易流程,可为公路交通运输行业参与温室气体自愿减排项目设计及交易提供支撑。 展开更多

随着物联网和智能终端的普及,边侧产生的数据量远远超出了边缘节点的计算与存储能力,亟需云边协同处理以满足大规模数据的实时分析需求.共享缓存架构因其计算、内存与存储解耦的特点,成为满足边缘海量数据处理需求的关键方案.然而,在共... 随着物联网和智能终端的普及,边侧产生的数据量远远超出了边缘节点的计算与存储能力,亟需云边协同处理以满足大规模数据的实时分析需求.共享缓存架构因其计算、内存与存储解耦的特点,成为满足边缘海量数据处理需求的关键方案.然而,在共享缓存架构中仍然存在一些亟待解决的问题.首先,在事务处理场景中,当热点缓存数据在节点间频繁迁移时,现有系统的日志落盘机制会产生大量日志写入操作,进而影响系统性能.此外,现有的缓存写失效机制会导致部分热点缓存数据频繁被淘汰,致使一些执行较慢的事务无法及时从共享缓存中读取目标数据,触发大量缓存重载而引发系统性能下降.针对这些问题,本文提出了一种基于依赖表的日志延迟写入机制,通过整合多条日志写盘操作,并推迟到日志缓冲区填满或事务提交时刻,降低了日志刷写频次和写盘开销;设计了一种异步缓存延迟失效机制,通过引入异步回放失效消息、页面可见性判断及优化的缓存替换策略,有效延长缓存数据服务时间,提升了缓存命中率和系统性能.基于这些机制,本文实现了一套高性能共享缓存数据库系统EBASE-T.实验结果表明:与优化前相比,EBASE-T的吞吐量提升了19.5%,时延降低了13.1%,在TPC-C(专门针对联机交易处理系统的规范)测试中,EBASE-T相较于大多数共享缓存数据库系统表现出了显著的性能优势. 展开更多

云原生数据库的主流设计采用一主多从架构,集群中从节点可以分担主节点的只读请求,写请求由主节点处理.在此基础上,为了进一步满足大规模交易扩展的需求,一些云数据库尝试实现多写事务扩展.多写扩展的一种实现路径是在计算节点间实现共... 云原生数据库的主流设计采用一主多从架构,集群中从节点可以分担主节点的只读请求,写请求由主节点处理.在此基础上,为了进一步满足大规模交易扩展的需求,一些云数据库尝试实现多写事务扩展.多写扩展的一种实现路径是在计算节点间实现共享缓存,支持跨节点的数据访问.在基于共享缓存的数据库系统中,跨节点远程访问的开销远大于本地访问,因此缓存协议的设计是影响系统性能和可扩展性的关键因素.对缓存协议提出了两个创新性改进,并基于PostgreSQL实现了支持多写事务处理的共享缓存数据库PG-RAC.一方面,PG-RAC提出一种新型的分布式链式路由策略,将路由信息分散在各计算节点.相比单点目录管理的路由策略,事务平均延迟降低了约20%.另一方面,还改进了副本页失效机制,将失效操作从事务路径分离,减小了事务处理关键路径的延迟.在此基础上,PG-RAC利用多版本并发控制的特性,进一步提出推迟副本页失效时机,有效提高了缓存利用率.TPCC实验结果显示,在配备4台计算节点的集群中,吞吐率为PostgreSQL的近2倍,为分布式数据库Citus的1.5倍. 展开更多

目的:本研究探索失神经支配对下颌骨骨质和拔牙创愈合的影响,并利用神经肽逆转失神经对下颌骨的负面影响,为深入探讨神经支配对骨发育骨再生的重要意义及构建神经化骨组织工程打下基础。方法:本研究通过下牙槽神经离断模型探究失神经支... 目的:本研究探索失神经支配对下颌骨骨质和拔牙创愈合的影响,并利用神经肽逆转失神经对下颌骨的负面影响,为深入探讨神经支配对骨发育骨再生的重要意义及构建神经化骨组织工程打下基础。方法:本研究通过下牙槽神经离断模型探究失神经支配对于大鼠髁突软骨内成骨,皮质骨骨膜下成骨及拔牙创骨愈合的影响。60只雄性Sprague Dawley大鼠拔除右侧下颌磨牙后随机分为三组,分别为Sham组(假手术)、IANS组(右侧下牙槽神经离断)以及CGRP组[右侧下牙槽神经离断+降钙素基因相关肽(CGRP)注射]。CGRP组分别在右侧髁突、拔牙窝以及下颌骨体周围注射CGRP(100 nmol/L,0.2 mL)。术后间隔2周分别注射钙黄绿素、茜素红、盐酸四环素以观察皮质骨沉积。术后2周、4周、6周收集下颌骨样本,通过micro-CT及组织学切片分析骨质骨量变化情况。结果:大鼠右侧下牙槽神经离断后,与Sham组相比,IANS组髁突软骨变薄,软骨细胞分层紊乱,骨小梁稀疏;拔牙窝骨质愈合欠佳,骨小梁稀疏,骨密度较低;下颌皮质骨骨沉积缓慢等。同时,CGRP组相较IANS组,髁突软骨层更厚,软骨细胞分层有序;拔牙窝骨质愈合良好,骨小梁致密,骨密度更高;下颌骨骨皮质骨沉积速率更快。CGRP组获得了和Sham组相似的骨发育和骨再生效果。结论:大鼠下牙槽神经离断会抑制下颌骨髁突软骨内成骨、骨缺损骨再生和膜内成骨。局部注射降钙素基因相关肽CGRP可以修复失神经对下颌骨新骨形成和拔牙创愈合影响。研究提示下牙槽神经对于下颌骨骨质和拔牙创愈合具有重要作用和影响。 展开更多

图在各种应用中扮演着至关重要的角色,广泛用于建模实体之间的关系.图面临的工作负载可分为事务型工作负载和分析型工作负载.许多应用场景需要同时处理这两类工作负载.然而,大多数现有的图存储系统只针对其中一种工作负载进行了优化,无... 图在各种应用中扮演着至关重要的角色,广泛用于建模实体之间的关系.图面临的工作负载可分为事务型工作负载和分析型工作负载.许多应用场景需要同时处理这两类工作负载.然而,大多数现有的图存储系统只针对其中一种工作负载进行了优化,无法同时高效地处理两类工作负载.为了解决这一问题,本文提出了面向混合工作负载的图存储系统HGraph.本文通过仔细分析两类工作负载的访问模式,设计了一种适应混合工作负载的数据结构.此外,HGraph引入了一种基于撤销日志的多版本并发控制实现,该方案不仅能够节省内存,还能提升遍历操作的性能.HGraph还采用了写时复制和乐观并发控制策略,以优化事务处理流程,进一步增强系统的并发能力.在真实和合成数据集上的实验结果表明,HGraph的性能优于其他图存储系统. 展开更多
