Objective:To evaluate and analyze the actual efficacy of percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of old unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures.Methods:From March 2023 to March 2024,46 patients with old unstable o...Objective:To evaluate and analyze the actual efficacy of percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of old unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures.Methods:From March 2023 to March 2024,46 patients with old unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures in our hospital were included in this study.They were divided into the conventional group and the observation group based on treatment differences,with 23 patients in each group.The conventional group received conservative drug therapy,while the observation group underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty.The following indicators were compared and analyzed between the two groups:clinical treatment effect and improvement in physical function indicators.Results:The treatment efficiency of the observation group was 95.65%(22/23),while that of the conventional group was 69.57%(16/23).There was a significant difference between the groups,and the treatment effect of the observation group was significantly better(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of physical status,daily living ability,functional independence,and life obstacles in the observation group were(89.33±4.08),(88.72±4.08),(90.41±2.89),(72.35±3.22),respectively,while those in the conventional group were(68.54±4.21),(67.42±4.11),(73.48±2.75),(72.35±3.22).There was a significant difference between the groups,and the improvement in physical function indicators in the observation group was more pronounced(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with old unstable osteoporotic spinal fractures,the basic value of percutaneous vertebroplasty is significant.It can not only improve clinical efficacy and safety but also promote the gradual recovery of patients'physical function indicators.It is recommended for clinical reference and practical application.展开更多
Previous studies have shown that visual cortical neurons in old mammals exhibit higher spontaneous activity,higher responsiveness to visual stimuli,and lower selectivity for stimulus orientations and motion directions...Previous studies have shown that visual cortical neurons in old mammals exhibit higher spontaneous activity,higher responsiveness to visual stimuli,and lower selectivity for stimulus orientations and motion directions than did neurons in young adult counterparts.However,whether the responsive difference in cortical neurons between young and old animals resulted from different effects induced by anesthetics has remained unclear.To clarify this issue,we recorded the response properties of individual neurons in the primary visual cortex of old and young adult cats while systematically varying the anesthesia level of urethane,a widely used anesthetic in physiology experiments.Our results showed that cumulatively administrating 50 mg and 100 mg of urethane upon the minimal level of urethane required to anesthetize an old or young adult cat did not significantly alter the degree of neuronal response selectivity for stimulus orientations and motion directions nor significantly change the visually-driven response and spontaneous activity of neurons in old and young adult cats.Cumulatively administrating 150 mg of urethane decreased neuronal responsiveness similarly in both age groups.Therefore,urethane appears to exert similar effects on neuronal response properties of old and young adult animals.展开更多

Metabolic nitrogen balance studies, conducted in 1957 by Rose in human adults and in 1959 by Snyderman and coworkers in young infants, revealed that a dietary source of this amino acid was not an obligatory requirement for growth and maintenance of nitrogen homeostasis in healthy individuals. Hence, It was initially classified as a non-essential (dispensable) amino acid and, perhaps, for reasons of this classification arginine did not receivc the earlier atteniion it now deserves, in relation to an understanding of the nutritional biochemistry and physiology of its metabolism in humans subjects. However, there is currently a considerable interest in the cellular and tissue functions, as well as clinical, therapeutic significance, of arginine. In this paper we review the multiple functions of arginlne, including its role in the L-arginine-nitric oxide pathway,cellular regeneration, immune function, protein synthesis and protein breakdown. We then consider some in vivo aspects of the physiology of arginine metabolism, which varies greatly among eukaryotes, with particular reference to humans. Against this background, studies of arginine in the nutrition of humans under various pathophysiological conditions are reviewed briefly. By the method mentioned above, the confidence interval and the sampling errors of the relevant mean value differences of Daqing Oilfield S block’s 150 wells, according to the mean value differences of the liquid producing capacity per day, the oil production per day, the submergence depth of the 10 sampling test wells, in which before and after a new type of gas anchor were laid down, were calculated. The calculation results show that a new type of gas anchor has a better effect of increasing oil production of oil well and enhancing pump efficiency. Through the real value differences analysis of the liquid producing capacity per day, the oil production per day, the submergence depth of 150 wells mentioned above, in which before and after a new type of gas anchor were laid down, it was verified. By using the confidence interval and the sampling errors of the liquid producing capacity per day, the oil production per day, the submergence depth mentioned above, in which before and after a new type of gas anchor were laid down, the application effects of a new type of gas anchor could be evaluated. Transition from old to new economic drivers(TONED) is of great significance for optimizing economic structures. Using a combination of methods including entropy weight technique for order preference by similarity to i...Transition from old to new economic drivers(TONED) is of great significance for optimizing economic structures. Using a combination of methods including entropy weight technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution, geospatial analysis, and optimal parameter geodetector, this study investigates the patterns and mechanisms of China's TONED in the prefecture-level cities from 2011 to 2020. The findings reveal that(1) the TONED exhibited a spatial distribution characterized by higher levels in the east and lower levels in the west, along with a pyramidal hierarchy of levels. The distribution of hot and cold spots roughly followed the Heihe-Yulin line.(2) The informatization levels, openness to the outside world, and urbanization played a dominant role in the TONED. The types of dual-factor interactions exhibited both dual-factor enhancement and non-linear enhancement effects.(3) The eastern and central regions were more likely to promote the TONED through enhanced informatization levels, whereas the western region relied more on increasing openness. This study finds that the TONED results from the combined effects of three geographical natures, each playing a distinct role. The recommendations provided can serve as a reference for China and other developing countries to implement the TONED in the context of deglobalization.展开更多

Questionnaires and interviews were employed to collect data from tho...This paper presents an investigation on attitudes towards old and new buildings in Mount Emei that is a significant cultural national park in China. Questionnaires and interviews were employed to collect data from those whose careers and lives are affected, and were affected, by the buildings. The investigation reveals that people show significantly different attitudes towards the two types of buildings and place more value on old buildings. People particularise their liking for old buildings associated with traditional values, aesthetic quality and conformity to surroundings whereas indicates their disliking for new ones with changed values from tradition to modernity, unsound administrative management and poor respect for surroundings. It is concluded that traditional ideology tends to be well expressed by the old buildings but poorly by new ones. It is accordingly suggested that ideology should be taken more into account in new building projects in Mount Emei.展开更多

This study was conducted to explore and seek high-efficiency and safe green control techniques on sugarcane borers,promote green control of diseases and pests of sugarcane and build a resource-conserving,environmental...This study was conducted to explore and seek high-efficiency and safe green control techniques on sugarcane borers,promote green control of diseases and pests of sugarcane and build a resource-conserving,environmentally friendly and sustainable governance system of diseases and pests of sugarcane.A new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers,abamectin· Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) and tebufenozide were selected and applied in field trials.The use of the new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers (6 traps/hm 2) in combination with 0.05% abamectin·10 billion active gemmae/g B.thuringiensis (Bt) WP (1.8 kg/hm 2) or new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers (6 traps/hm 2) in combination with 200 g/L tebufenozide SC (1.5 L/hm 2) were the best in the sugarcane production.New sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers should be installed in early march,and biological agents were mixed with water 900 kg per hectare and sprayed evenly sugarcane plants at the beginning of April.Their control effects of dead heart rate and bored stalk rate could be more than 69.98% and 49.09%,respectively,which were superior to that of the control pesticide 3.6% bisultap GR (90 kg/hm 2).The results showed that new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers in combination with abamectin· B.thuringiensis (Bt) or tebufenozide was the optimum mode of green control techniques on sugarcane borers.When it was alternately or coordinately used with other technology,it could delay the emergence and development of drug resistance,and it was worthy of widespread popularization and application in sugarcane area.展开更多

This comparative study acquaints the reader with some properties of the eighth and tenth new shear-horizontal surface acoustic waves (SH-SAWs) propagating along the free surface of the magnetoelectroelastic (6 mm) med...This comparative study acquaints the reader with some properties of the eighth and tenth new shear-horizontal surface acoustic waves (SH-SAWs) propagating along the free surface of the magnetoelectroelastic (6 mm) medium. These new nondispersive SH-SAWs cannot exist when the electromagnetic constant α is equal to zero. The piezoelectromagnetic SH bulk acoustic wave and the surface Bleustein-Gulyaev-Melkumyan (BGM) wave are also chosen for comparison. The main problem of this report is the demonstration of the fact that the new waves can propagate slower than the BGM wave. This problem can be very important due to the fact that among the other known SH-SAWs the BGM wave can propagate significantly slower than the corresponding SH bulk acoustic wave. Two new SH-SAWs are analytically and graphically studied in dependence on the electromagnetic constant α. For the graphical study, two (6 mm) composites are used: BaTiO3– CoFe2O4 and PZT-5H–Terfenol-D. For the second composite it is solidly demonstrated that for small values of α, the eighth new SH-SAW cannot exist and its velocity starts with zero at some small threshold value of α rapidly reaching the BGM-wave velocity. This means that a weak magnetoelectric effect can dramatically slow down the speed of either new SH-SAW. As a result, the studied new SH-SAWs can be suitable for creation of new technical devices to sense the magnetoelectric effect. For the analytical study, extreme and inflexion points were evaluated in the velocities’ dependencies on the value of the electromagnetic constant α.展开更多
Using the form factors from light-cone sum rules, we study the branching ratios and forward-backward asymmetries (FBAs) of the exclusive decays Bu^+→π^+e^+e^- and Bu^+ →ρ^+e^+e^- (e= e,μ) in the standar...Using the form factors from light-cone sum rules, we study the branching ratios and forward-backward asymmetries (FBAs) of the exclusive decays Bu^+→π^+e^+e^- and Bu^+ →ρ^+e^+e^- (e= e,μ) in the standard model (SM) and the top quark two-Higgs-doublet model (T2HDM). From the numerical results, we find that the new physics contributions cannot provide very large enhancement to the branching ratios and the theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the SM ones. The T2HDM effects on FBAs of these decays are small. Precision measurements of the dilepton invariant mass distributions, especially in the lower dilepton mass region, and the FBAs in the decays Bu^+ → π^+ (ρ^+ )e^+ e^- will greatly help in discriminating among the SM and the new physics models.展开更多

Using the precision data, we obtain the bounds on the parameter space of the T2HDM: (a) For fixed MH = 400 GeV and 5= [0°, 60°], the upper bound on tan β is tan β≤ 30 after the inclusion of major theoretical uncertainties; (b) For the case of tan β≤ 20, a light charged Higgs boson with a mass around 300 GeV is allowed; and (c) The bounds on tan β and MH are strongly correlated: a smaller (larger) tan β means a lighter (heavier) charged Higgs boson.展开更多

The feature of the simulation is taken into consideration of the condensed-phase effect of liquid water on electron elastic scattering with the use of the Champion model, while the dielectric response formalism incorporating the optical-data model developed by Emfietzoglou et al. is applied for calculating the electron inelastic scattering. The spatial distributions of energy deposition and inelastic scattering events of low-energy electrons with different primary energies in liquid water are calculated and compared with other theoretical evaluations. The present work shows that the condensed-phase effect of liquid water on electron elastic scattering may be of the influence on the fraction of absorbed energy and distribution of inelastic scattering events at lower primary energies, which also indicate potential effects on the DNA damage induced by low-energy electrons.展开更多

文摘The evaluation of the implementation effect of the power substation project can find out the problems of the project more comprehensively,which has important practical significance for the further development of the power substation project.To ensure accuracy and real-time evaluation,this paper proposes a novel hybrid intelligent evaluation and prediction model based on improved TOPSIS and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)optimized by a Sperm Whale Algorithm(SWA).Firstly,under the background of considering the development of new energy,the influencing factors of power substation project implementation effect are analyzed from three aspects of technology,economy and society.Moreover,an evaluation model based on improved TOPSIS is constructed.Then,an intelligent prediction model based on SWA optimized LSTM is designed.Finally,the scientificity and accuracy of the proposed model are verified by empirical analysis,and the important factors affecting the implementation effect of power substation projects are pointed out.

文摘This paper presents an investigation on attitudes towards old and new buildings in Mount Emei that is a significant cultural national park in China. Questionnaires and interviews were employed to collect data from those whose careers and lives are affected, and were affected, by the buildings. The investigation reveals that people show significantly different attitudes towards the two types of buildings and place more value on old buildings. People particularise their liking for old buildings associated with traditional values, aesthetic quality and conformity to surroundings whereas indicates their disliking for new ones with changed values from tradition to modernity, unsound administrative management and poor respect for surroundings. It is concluded that traditional ideology tends to be well expressed by the old buildings but poorly by new ones. It is accordingly suggested that ideology should be taken more into account in new building projects in Mount Emei.

文摘This study was conducted to explore and seek high-efficiency and safe green control techniques on sugarcane borers,promote green control of diseases and pests of sugarcane and build a resource-conserving,environmentally friendly and sustainable governance system of diseases and pests of sugarcane.A new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers,abamectin· Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) and tebufenozide were selected and applied in field trials.The use of the new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers (6 traps/hm 2) in combination with 0.05% abamectin·10 billion active gemmae/g B.thuringiensis (Bt) WP (1.8 kg/hm 2) or new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers (6 traps/hm 2) in combination with 200 g/L tebufenozide SC (1.5 L/hm 2) were the best in the sugarcane production.New sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers should be installed in early march,and biological agents were mixed with water 900 kg per hectare and sprayed evenly sugarcane plants at the beginning of April.Their control effects of dead heart rate and bored stalk rate could be more than 69.98% and 49.09%,respectively,which were superior to that of the control pesticide 3.6% bisultap GR (90 kg/hm 2).The results showed that new sex pheromone trap of sugarcane borers in combination with abamectin· B.thuringiensis (Bt) or tebufenozide was the optimum mode of green control techniques on sugarcane borers.When it was alternately or coordinately used with other technology,it could delay the emergence and development of drug resistance,and it was worthy of widespread popularization and application in sugarcane area.

文摘This comparative study acquaints the reader with some properties of the eighth and tenth new shear-horizontal surface acoustic waves (SH-SAWs) propagating along the free surface of the magnetoelectroelastic (6 mm) medium. These new nondispersive SH-SAWs cannot exist when the electromagnetic constant α is equal to zero. The piezoelectromagnetic SH bulk acoustic wave and the surface Bleustein-Gulyaev-Melkumyan (BGM) wave are also chosen for comparison. The main problem of this report is the demonstration of the fact that the new waves can propagate slower than the BGM wave. This problem can be very important due to the fact that among the other known SH-SAWs the BGM wave can propagate significantly slower than the corresponding SH bulk acoustic wave. Two new SH-SAWs are analytically and graphically studied in dependence on the electromagnetic constant α. For the graphical study, two (6 mm) composites are used: BaTiO3– CoFe2O4 and PZT-5H–Terfenol-D. For the second composite it is solidly demonstrated that for small values of α, the eighth new SH-SAW cannot exist and its velocity starts with zero at some small threshold value of α rapidly reaching the BGM-wave velocity. This means that a weak magnetoelectric effect can dramatically slow down the speed of either new SH-SAW. As a result, the studied new SH-SAWs can be suitable for creation of new technical devices to sense the magnetoelectric effect. For the analytical study, extreme and inflexion points were evaluated in the velocities’ dependencies on the value of the electromagnetic constant α.

文摘Using the form factors from light-cone sum rules, we study the branching ratios and forward-backward asymmetries (FBAs) of the exclusive decays Bu^+→π^+e^+e^- and Bu^+ →ρ^+e^+e^- (e= e,μ) in the standard model (SM) and the top quark two-Higgs-doublet model (T2HDM). From the numerical results, we find that the new physics contributions cannot provide very large enhancement to the branching ratios and the theoretical predictions are in good agreement with the SM ones. The T2HDM effects on FBAs of these decays are small. Precision measurements of the dilepton invariant mass distributions, especially in the lower dilepton mass region, and the FBAs in the decays Bu^+ → π^+ (ρ^+ )e^+ e^- will greatly help in discriminating among the SM and the new physics models.

文摘We calculate the new physics contributions to the neutral Bd^o and Ba^o meson mass splitting △Md and △Ma induced by the box diagrams involving the charged-Higgs bosons in the top quark two-Higgs doublet model (T2HDM). Using the precision data, we obtain the bounds on the parameter space of the T2HDM: (a) For fixed MH = 400 GeV and 5= [0°, 60°], the upper bound on tan β is tan β≤ 30 after the inclusion of major theoretical uncertainties; (b) For the case of tan β≤ 20, a light charged Higgs boson with a mass around 300 GeV is allowed; and (c) The bounds on tan β and MH are strongly correlated: a smaller (larger) tan β means a lighter (heavier) charged Higgs boson.
文摘A new Monte Carlo simulation of the track structure of low-energy electrons (〈10keV) in liquid water is presented. The feature of the simulation is taken into consideration of the condensed-phase effect of liquid water on electron elastic scattering with the use of the Champion model, while the dielectric response formalism incorporating the optical-data model developed by Emfietzoglou et al. is applied for calculating the electron inelastic scattering. The spatial distributions of energy deposition and inelastic scattering events of low-energy electrons with different primary energies in liquid water are calculated and compared with other theoretical evaluations. The present work shows that the condensed-phase effect of liquid water on electron elastic scattering may be of the influence on the fraction of absorbed energy and distribution of inelastic scattering events at lower primary energies, which also indicate potential effects on the DNA damage induced by low-energy electrons.
