The biggest problem lies in construction of printing unit. It mainly consists of three cylinders, but two of them are in a direct contact generate undesired vibrations. Construction of the cylinders makes that stiffness of the unit varies periodically while printing. In this paper model of offset printing unit is presented. The model is described by the system of two parametric differential equations. Computer simulations of the behaviour of the printing unit have been performed. Conditions in which parametric resonance appears are also appointed here. 展开更多

In the inking system of an offset printing press,a vibrator roller distributes ink not only in the circumferential direction but also in the axial direction. In the control process,if ink amount is determined only by the dot area coverage without considering the impact of vibrator roller's oscillation, the printing colour quality will be reduced. This paper describes a method of calculating the impact factor of vibrator roller' s oscillation.First, the oscillation performance is analyzed and sample data of impact factor is got. Then,a fuzzy controller used for the calculation of the impact factor is designed, and genetic algorithm is used to optimize membership functions and obtain the fuzzy control rules automatically. This fuzzy controller can be used to calculate impact factors for any printing condition, and the impact factors can be used for ink amount control in printing process and it is important for higher printing colour quality and lowering ink and paper waste. 展开更多

In order to research how the size of the ink flow channel is affected by the interaction of adjacent ink areas, according to the method of fluid-solid interaction, this paper analyzes the size of the ink flow channel of two ink rollers' rotation.Firstly, this paper simulates the situation of only one ink area.Secondly, this paper simulates the situation of five adjacent ink areas. Then, through comparing the simulation results of two above situations,it' s obvious that the interaction of adjacent ink areas has big effects on the ink pressure and the size of ink flow channel. At last, this paper gets the main factor that affects the size of ink flow channel in the different situations. 展开更多

Reverse-offset printing(ROP)enables microscale patterning on flexible substrates, making it ideal for fabricating interdigital capacitive(IDC)sensors for atopic dermatitis(AD)monitoring.AD,characterized by skin dryness and inflammation, demands precise hydration tracking.Tailoring IDC electrode gaps to 50µm concentrates the electric field within the stratum corneum(SC),enhancing sensitivity beyond the capabilities of traditional screen printing.Finite element modelling and ROP were employed to assess the impact of electrode geometry and encapsulation thickness on sensor performance.Findings indicate that 50µm electrodes with encapsulation layers under 10µm maintain high sensitivity and consistent operation.A clinical case study demonstrated the 50µm sensor’s ability to distinguish lesional from non-lesional skin. These results inform the optimization of encapsulation-performance balance and advance the design of wearable,high-resolution IDC sensors for continuous skin hydration monitoring in personalized dermatological care. 展开更多
