Ming-style furniture represents the pinnacle of Chinese traditional furniture,with the four-head official’s cap chair standing out as a representative category due to its classic form and cultural connotations.This p...Ming-style furniture represents the pinnacle of Chinese traditional furniture,with the four-head official’s cap chair standing out as a representative category due to its classic form and cultural connotations.This paper takes a specific rosewood four-head official’s cap chair inscribed by Wang Shixiang as the research subject,employing a tripartite approach of form analysis,material examination,and inscription interpretation.The chair strictly adheres to the classic form of Ming-style four-head official’s cap chairs,embodying the Ming Dynasty design philosophy of“the unity of function and aesthetics”.The scarcity and unique grain pattern of the golden-flecked rosewood(Zitan)endow it with the status of“gold among woods”.Wang Shixiang’s inscription binds the furniture to the cultural essence of“the charm of the Ming Dynasty”,transforming it into“heritable cultural heritage”.This paper provides a new perspective for the case study of Ming-style furniture and offers theoretical reference for the contemporary inheritance of traditional craftsmanship.展开更多

This research investigates the effectiveness of climate-related development aid in Indonesia’s climate mitigation.Specific objectives include assessing the contribution of official development assistance(ODA)to reduc...This research investigates the effectiveness of climate-related development aid in Indonesia’s climate mitigation.Specific objectives include assessing the contribution of official development assistance(ODA)to reducing CO_(2) emissions and evaluating the implementation of the Busan Principles of aid effectiveness to achieve Indonesia’s mitigation priorities and targets.We utilize a new primary dataset based on interviews with the most knowledgeable stakeholders of ODA on climate change mitigation.Additionally,we use secondary data from the annual Rio Marker and the Common Reporting Standard data of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.The results show a significant correlation between climate-related development aid and CO_(2) emission reduction in Indonesia.Additionally,the implementation of the Busan Principles enhances aid management by fostering project ownership and increasing the involvement of civil society and private sector.The study has implications for devising an effective climate change mitigation strategy for Indonesia.It is suggested that the government of Indonesia exercise greater flexibility and dynamism in engaging with development partners.展开更多

Official and civil information, as distinct information sources, significantly influence public behavior and the dynamics of epidemic transmission. In this paper, we propose a three-layer U_(1)A_(1)U_(1)-U_(2)A_(2)U_(...Official and civil information, as distinct information sources, significantly influence public behavior and the dynamics of epidemic transmission. In this paper, we propose a three-layer U_(1)A_(1)U_(1)-U_(2)A_(2)U_(2)-SIS coupled model to analyze the co-evolution process of official information dissemination, civil information dissemination and epidemic transmission,considering the interdependencies between the information dissemination channels. The first layer describes the official information dissemination process. The second layer models the civil information dissemination process, considering the effects of perceived risk costs and the role of the correlation between official and civil information. The third layer represents the epidemic transmission process, highlighting the impact of the correlation between official and civil information on epidemic transmission. Then, using the microscopic Markov chain approach, we describe the information-epidemic coupled dynamics and derive the epidemic outbreak threshold. Our research demonstrates that a stronger positive correlation between official and civil information raises the epidemic threshold and suppresses the scale of epidemic transmission. Furthermore, individuals' adoption of civil information should involve a more thorough assessment of the infection risk based on their personal circumstances, which can contribute to more effective epidemic control. Moreover, enhancing infected individuals' accurate comprehension of official information can effectively curb the transmission of the epidemic. Our study highlights the importance of both official and civil information dissemination in epidemic management and provides insights for policymakers in developing effective public health and communication strategies.展开更多
