Research on neutron-induced fission product yields of^(232)Th is crucial for understanding the competition between symmetric and asymmetric fission in actinide nuclei.However,obtaining complete isotopic yield distribu...Research on neutron-induced fission product yields of^(232)Th is crucial for understanding the competition between symmetric and asymmetric fission in actinide nuclei.However,obtaining complete isotopic yield distributions over a wide range of neutron energies remains a challenge.In this study,a Bayesian neural network model was developed to predict the independent(IND)and cumulative fission yields of^(232)Th under neutron irradiation at various incident energies.To address the limited availability of experimental data for the analysis of IND mass distributions,we substituted mass-number-based yields with the yields of specific isotopes.Furthermore,physical phenomena or quantities,such as the odd-even effect and isospin,were introduced as constraints to enhance the physical consistency of the predictions.The impact of these constraints was evaluated using mass-chain yield distributions and their dependence on energy.Incorporating physical constraints significantly improves the prediction accuracy,yielding more reliable and physically meaningful fission yield data for nuclear physics and reactor design applications.展开更多

Odd elasticity introduces active moduli to the antisymmetric components of the elastic tensor,which describe the asymmetric coupling between different deformation modes in a medium and quantify the work extracted duri...Odd elasticity introduces active moduli to the antisymmetric components of the elastic tensor,which describe the asymmetric coupling between different deformation modes in a medium and quantify the work extracted during quasi-static strain cycles.The introduction of active moduli renders the elastic tensor non-Hermitian,breaking the Maxwell-Betti reciprocity and enabling the observation of phenomena that cannot occur in traditional passive media.Here,we develop an analytical dynamic model for odd elastic circular plates to investigate the effects of odd elasticity on motion in rotationally symmetric geometries.We report a novel nonreciprocal rotating wave and explore the effects of different odd elastic moduli on chiral deformation.Nonreciprocal rotating waves represent a distinct dynamic mode,exhibiting unidirectional propagation with amplitude increasing or decreasing exclusively along a specific direction.The amplitude change during motion reveals the system’s non-conservation of energy.展开更多
BACKGROUND The log odds of positive lymph nodes(LODDS)are correlated with survival outcomes in gastric cancer(GC)patients.However,the prognostic value across different tumor differentiation levels remains unclear.AIM ...BACKGROUND The log odds of positive lymph nodes(LODDS)are correlated with survival outcomes in gastric cancer(GC)patients.However,the prognostic value across different tumor differentiation levels remains unclear.AIM To evaluate the independent prognostic value of LODDS and the stratified predictive efficacy in GC patients with different histologic differentiations.METHODS We conducted a retrospective analysis of 2103 GC patients who underwent radical gastrectomy at Zhejiang Cancer Hospital.The prognostic value of LODDS was compared with that of other lymph node-based metrics,including the pathologic N stage,number of positive lymph nodes,number of total lymph nodes,and lymph node ratio,stratified by tumor differentiation.RESULTS LODDS was identified as an independent prognostic factor for overall survival in moderately to poorly differentiated GC patients.LODDS demonstrated superior predictive accuracy over other lymph node metrics.A nomogram incorporating LODDS,age,carbohydrate antigen(CA)125,carcinoembryonic antigen,and tumor differentiation showed good predictive accuracy(C-index=0.703).A higher LODDS was significantly associated with an increased risk of recurrence or metastasis,poorly differentiated tumors,advanced cancer,mucinous gastric adenocarcinoma,nerve invasion,and vascular tumor thrombus.Additionally,LODDS was positively correlated with the tumor markers CA19-9,CA72-4,CA125,and CA242(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION LODDS is an independent prognostic indicator for patients with moderately and poorly differentiated GC,and its predictive performance is superior to that of other models.展开更多
A triple-band miniaturized end-fire antenna based on the odd modes of spoof surface plasmonic polariton(SSPP)waveguide resonator is proposed in this paper.To meet the ever increasing demand for more communication chan...A triple-band miniaturized end-fire antenna based on the odd modes of spoof surface plasmonic polariton(SSPP)waveguide resonator is proposed in this paper.To meet the ever increasing demand for more communication channels and less antenna sizes,multi-band antennas are currently under intensive investigation.By a novel feeding method,three odd modes are excited on an SSPP waveguide resonator,which performs as an end-fire antenna operating at three bands,7.15-7.26 GHz,11.6-12.2 GHz and 13.5-13.64 GHz.It exhibits reasonably high and stable maximum gains of 5.26 dBi,7.97 dBi and 10.1 dBi and maximum efficiencies of 64%,92%and 98%at the three bands,respectively.Moreover,in the second band,the main beam angle shows a frequency dependence with a total scanning angle of 19°.The miniaturized triple-band antenna has a great potential in wireless communication systems,satellite communication and radar systems.展开更多
BACKGROUND Lymph node status is a critical prognostic factor in gastric cancer(GC),but stage migration may occur in pathological lymph nodes(pN)staging.To address this,alternative staging systems such as the positive ...BACKGROUND Lymph node status is a critical prognostic factor in gastric cancer(GC),but stage migration may occur in pathological lymph nodes(pN)staging.To address this,alternative staging systems such as the positive lymph node ratio(LNR)and log odds of positive lymph nodes(LODDS)were introduced.AIM To assess the prognostic accuracy and stratification efficacy of three nodal staging systems in GC.METHODS A systematic review identified 12 studies,from which hazard ratios(HRs)for overall survival(OS)were summarized.Sensitivity analyses,subgroup analyses,publication bias assessments,and quality evaluations were conducted.To enhance comparability,data from studies with identical cutoff values for pN,LNR,and LODDS were pooled.Homogeneous stratification was then applied to generate Kaplan-Meier(KM)survival curves,assessing the stratification efficacy of three staging systems.RESULTS The HRs and 95%confidence intervals for pN,LNR,and LODDS were 2.16(1.72-2.73),2.05(1.65-2.55),and 3.15(2.15-4.37),respectively,confirming all three as independent prognostic risk factors for OS.Comparative analysis of HRs demonstrated that LODDS had superior prognostic predictive power over LNR and pN.KM curves for pN(N0,N1,N2,N3a,N3b),LNR(0.1/0.2/0.5),and LODDS(-1.5/-1.0/-0.5/0)revealed significant differences(P<0.001)among all prognostic stratifications.Mean differences and standard deviations in 60-month relative survival were 27.93%±0.29%,41.70%±0.30%,and 26.60%±0.28%for pN,LNR,and LODDS,respectively.CONCLUSION All three staging systems are independent prognostic factors for OS.LODDS demonstrated the highest specificity,making it especially useful for predicting outcomes,while pN was the most effective in homogeneous stratification,offering better patient differentiation.These findings highlight the complementary roles of LODDS and pN in enhancing prognostic accuracy and stratification.展开更多
The new CL-20(hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane)type aluminized explosives in the overdrive detonation(ODD)conditions of the core problem is how to accurately represent the state of the overdrive detonation products.To th...The new CL-20(hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane)type aluminized explosives in the overdrive detonation(ODD)conditions of the core problem is how to accurately represent the state of the overdrive detonation products.To this end,this paper is based on the impedance matching method to test the ODD conditions of CL-20 type aluminium explosive particle velocity.Calculated the interfacial pressure of the shock wave in different media.Determined the characteristic parameters of the reaction zone of the detonation of CL-20 aluminized explosives.Calibrated the parameters of the JoneseWilkinseLee(JWL)+γ equation for the detonation products(DPs).Revealed the effect of different DPs equation of state(EOS)on the Hugoniot pressure of ODD.The results indicate that when the content of aluminum powder ranges from 0%to 30%,the duration of the ODD reaction zone and the width of the detonation reaction zone of the CL-20-based aluminized explosive are directly proportional to the content of aluminum powder.The width of the detonation reaction zone is increased by 1.97 times to 2.7 times compared to that of the reaction zone without the addition of aluminum powder.However,the energy release efficiency of the detonation reaction zone is inversely proportional to the content of aluminum powder.When the aluminum powder content was held constant,the incorporation of AP caused a 25%reduction in the energy release efficiency of the detonation reaction zone.Compared with existing ODD state equations,the JWL +γ equation is superior in calibrating overpressure Hugoniot data and the isentropic expansion in the C-J state.The deviation between calculated pressure results and experimental measurements is within 6%.展开更多

Results show that an ultrashort pulse can manipulate a coherent rotational wave packet of D2 se- lectively. In the calculation, a first laser pulse was used to create a coherent rotational wave packet from an initial thermal ensemble of D2 at the temperature of 300 K. The second laser pulse was used to manipulate the rotational wave packet selectively around the first quarter and the three quarters revival. The alignment parameter and its Fourier transform amplitude both illustrate that the relative populations of even and odd rotational states in the final rotational wave packet of D2 can be manipulated by precisely selecting the time delay between the first and the second ultrashort pulse.展开更多

文摘The new CL-20(hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane)type aluminized explosives in the overdrive detonation(ODD)conditions of the core problem is how to accurately represent the state of the overdrive detonation products.To this end,this paper is based on the impedance matching method to test the ODD conditions of CL-20 type aluminium explosive particle velocity.Calculated the interfacial pressure of the shock wave in different media.Determined the characteristic parameters of the reaction zone of the detonation of CL-20 aluminized explosives.Calibrated the parameters of the JoneseWilkinseLee(JWL)+γ equation for the detonation products(DPs).Revealed the effect of different DPs equation of state(EOS)on the Hugoniot pressure of ODD.The results indicate that when the content of aluminum powder ranges from 0%to 30%,the duration of the ODD reaction zone and the width of the detonation reaction zone of the CL-20-based aluminized explosive are directly proportional to the content of aluminum powder.The width of the detonation reaction zone is increased by 1.97 times to 2.7 times compared to that of the reaction zone without the addition of aluminum powder.However,the energy release efficiency of the detonation reaction zone is inversely proportional to the content of aluminum powder.When the aluminum powder content was held constant,the incorporation of AP caused a 25%reduction in the energy release efficiency of the detonation reaction zone.Compared with existing ODD state equations,the JWL +γ equation is superior in calibrating overpressure Hugoniot data and the isentropic expansion in the C-J state.The deviation between calculated pressure results and experimental measurements is within 6%.
文摘A new extended distribution called the Odd Exponential Generalized Exponential-Exponential distribution(EOEGE-E)is proposed based on generalization of the odd generalized exponential family(OEGE-E).The statistical properties of the proposed distribution are derived.The study evaluates the accuracy of six estimation methods under complete samples.Estimation techniques include maximumlikelihood,ordinary least squares,weighted least squares,maximumproduct of spacing,Cramer vonMises,and Anderson-Darling methods.Twomethods of estimation for the involved parameters are considered based on progressively type Ⅱ censored data(PTⅡC).These methods are maximum likelihood and maximum product of spacing.The proposed distribution’s effectiveness was evaluated using different data sets from various fields.The proposed distribution provides a better fit for these datasets than existing probability distributions.
文摘Pentadecanoic acid(C15:0)is an odd-chain fatty acid,theβ-oxidation of which yields propionyl-CoA that replenishes succinyl-CoA and tricarboxylic acid cycle flux;higher circulating levels are associated with reduced type 2 diabetes,cardiovascular disease,metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease,and mortality.Summarize the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying these associations.A comprehensive literature search(2000-2025)identified studies of C15:0’s mechanistic actions in vitro and in vivo,and multi-omics studies focused on receptor binding,signaling cascades,gene expression,and comparative pharmacology.C15:0 is a dual partial peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorα/δagonist.It activates AMP-activated protein kinase,suppresses mechanistic target of rapamycin,and selectively inhibits histone deacetylase 6.It augments succinate-driven complex II respiration,preserves mitochondrial membrane potential,limits reactive oxygen species,and attenuates interleukin-6(IL-6)–triggered Janus kinase 2/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 and nuclear factor kappa B p65 signaling,lowering monocyte chemoattractant protein-1,tumor necrosis factor-alpha,and IL-6.Across the BioMAP®human-primarycell platform–which tests 12 distinct primary human cell systems such as endothelial cells,fibroblasts,macrophages,and T-cells–C15:0(17μM)produced statistically significant changes in 36 mechanistically diverse biomarkers.This broad,multipathway modulation mirrors the phenotype produced by metformin and rapamycin,yet occurred with no detectable cytotoxicity,paralleling metformin and rapamycin with negligible cytotoxicity.C15:0 engages receptor targets that converge on enhanced lipid oxidation,cellular energetics,and inflammation resolution.Although prospective clinical outcomes are still lacking,the pleiotropic mechanism profile positions C15:0 as a potentially unique nutraceutical or adjunct therapeutic candidate.Further research is warranted to confirm its clinical impacts,optimize dosing,and clarify long-term safety as an essential fatty acid supporting metabolic and immune homeostasis.
文摘The dynamics of molecular rotational wave packets of D2 induced by ultrashort laser pulses was investigated numerically by solving the time-dependent SchrSdinger equation. Results show that an ultrashort pulse can manipulate a coherent rotational wave packet of D2 se- lectively. In the calculation, a first laser pulse was used to create a coherent rotational wave packet from an initial thermal ensemble of D2 at the temperature of 300 K. The second laser pulse was used to manipulate the rotational wave packet selectively around the first quarter and the three quarters revival. The alignment parameter and its Fourier transform amplitude both illustrate that the relative populations of even and odd rotational states in the final rotational wave packet of D2 can be manipulated by precisely selecting the time delay between the first and the second ultrashort pulse.
