Objective: to evaluate the effect of supine ventilation nursing on respiratory indexes of patients with respiratory failure in ICU. Methods: a total of 86 selected subjects were randomly divided into two groups: general group (43) and study group (43), and the nursing effect was analyzed. Results: after treatment, satisfaction, blood gas index, respiratory rate and heart rate of patients in study group were better than those in general group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the effect of prone position ventilation nursing intervention in patients with respiratory failure is significant, and it is worth promoting. 展开更多

Objective: to observe the application effect of childbirth ball combined with free posture midwifery nursing for primiparas. Methods: according to a total of 100 pregnant and lying-in women admitted to our hospital in recent years, they were randomly divided into two groups: the control group and the observation group. The control group used conventional midwifery care, while the observation group used delivery ball combined with free body position midwifery care in addition to conventional care during childbirth. Comprehensive evaluation and analysis were made on the delivery time, delivery bleeding and pain indicators of the two groups of lying-in women, and relevant conclusions were drawn. Results: the delivery time of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the amount of hemorrhage during delivery was less. The pain index is obviously lower, which reduces the pain of the parturient, P < 0.05, and is relatively safer and more effective for the overall delivery process. The labor pain scores (VAS, VRS, PPI) of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: the delivery method of delivery ball combined with free body position midwifery nursing has a very wide range of significance for reducing the pain of the parturient, reducing the amount of bleeding and shortening the delivery time of the parturient, greatly improving the success rate of delivery, and is worthy of promotion and application in clinical aspects. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Patients undergoing rectal cancer surgery frequently encounter challenges in their self-care abilities, disease knowledge, and emotional well-being postoperatively.Effective nursing interventions are critical for improving the quality of life and minimizing complications. This study explored the clinical implications of integrating health education guided by problem management with positive incentive nursing to address these challenges.AIM To evaluate the effect of this combined nursing model on postoperative self-care ability, disease knowledge, mood state, and complication rates in patients undergoing rectal cancer surgery.METHODS Eighty patients who underwent rectal cancer surgery between October 2021 and August 2024 were allocated into reference(routine care)and experimental(problem management-guided health education combined with positive incentive nursing)groups. The outcomes included exercise of self-care agency scale, disease knowledge(hospital-specific questionnaire),mood state(profile of mood states),and complication rates.RESULTS The experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in self-care ability(P<0.05),with higher scores for health knowledge,self-concept,self-care skills, and self-care responsibility than the reference group.Disease knowledge scores also improved markedly in the experimental group(P<0.05).Mood state scores showed a significant decrease in the negative dimensions(e.g.,anxiety and depression)and an increase in energy vitality(P<0.05).Additionally,the experimental group exhibited a lower complication rate than the reference group(7.5%vs 27.5%,P<0.05).CONCLUSION The integration of problem management-guided health education with positive incentive nursing significantly enhanced postoperative self-care abilities, disease knowledge, and emotional well-being while reducing complication rates. This model demonstrated potential for widespread adoption in clinical practice by offering a structured approach to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. 展开更多

Objective: to explore the nursing effect of applying prone ventilation in ICU patients with respiratory failure. Methods: 80 patients with respiratory failure in ICU of our hospital from January 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into two groups by envelope method. The control group was given routine intervention, and the experimental group was carried out prone ventilation nursing. PaCO2 levels, PaO2/ FiO2, length of hospital stay, total effective rate and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups at 1, 6, 12 and 24 hours after treatment. Results: the level of PaCO2, PaO2/ FiO2 in the experimental group at 1, 6, 12 and 24 hours after treatment was lower than that in the control group, the length of hospital stay was shorter than that in the control group, and the total effective rate was higher than that in the control group, with significant differences (P < 0.05). The complication rate of the observation group was compared with that of the control group (P BBB 0 0.05). Conclusion: nursing of respiratory failure patients in ICU with prone ventilation can effectively improve the blood gas index of patients, improve the treatment effect, shorten the length of hospitalization, and do not increase complications, which is worthy of promotion. 展开更多
