An adaptive gain higher order sliding mode observer has been proposed to estimate the velocity as well as unmeasured disturbances from the noisy position measurements.A differentiator structure containing the Lipschitz constant and Lebesgue measurable control input, is utilized for obtaining the estimates. Adaptive tuning algorithms are derived based on Lyapunov stability theory, for updating the observer gains, which will give enough flexibility in the choice of initial estimates. Moreover, it may help to cope with unexpected state jerks. The trajectory tracking problem is formulated as a finite horizon optimal control problem, which is solved online. The control constraints are incorporated by using a nonquadratic performance functional. An adaptive update law has been derived for tuning the step size in the optimization algorithm, which may help to improve the convergence speed. Moreover, it is an attractive alternative to the heuristic choice of step size for diverse operating conditions. The disturbance as well as state estimates from the higher order sliding mode observer are utilized by the plant output prediction model, which will improve the overall performance of the controller. The nonlinear dynamics defined in leader fixed Euler-Hill frame has been considered for the present work and the reference trajectories are generated using Hill-Clohessy-Wiltshire equations of unperturbed motion. The simulation results based on rigorous perturbation analysis are presented to confirm the robustness of the proposed approach.展开更多

Long-lived modes and high-frequency coherent modes are presented. Then the squared bicoherence of three waves establishes the existence of three-wave coupling. Lissajous-curves of those waves manifest that their phases are locked, which again confirms that they are nonlinearly coupled to each other. A nonlinear sliding surface whose parameters are altering with time is designed at first. The proposed NSMSC can minimize the settling time without any overshoot via utilizing a low damping ratio at starting along with a high damping ratio as the output approaches the target set-point. In addition, it eliminates the problem of the singularity with the upper bound of an uncertain term that is hard to be measured practically as well as ensures a rapid convergence in finite time, through employing a simple adaptation law. Moreover, for enhancing the system efficiency throughout the constant torque region, the control system utilizes the maximum torque per ampere technique. The nonlinear sliding surface stability is assured via employing Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, a simple sliding mode estimator is employed for estimating the system uncertainties. The stability analysis and the experimental results indicate the effectiveness along with feasibility of the proposed speed estimation and the NSMSC approach for a 1.1-k W PMa-Syn RM under different speed references, electrical and mechanical parameters disparities, and load disturbance conditions.展开更多

According to the biorthogonal eigenfunction system of the linearized Navier-Stokes equations and the adjoint equations, the decomposition of the direct numerical simulation results into the discrete normal mode is easily realized. The decomposition coefficients can be solved by doing the inner product between the numerical results and the eigenfunctions of the adjoint equations. Emphasis is placed on singular characteristics as the linear coupling between subsystems degenerated. For nonresonances, it is analytically presented that a single-mode motion and localization of vibrations occur in the system, and the degree of localization relates not only to the coupling stiffness between oscillators, but also to the asymmetric parameter. The parametric threshold value of localization is analytically given. For 1 : 1 resonance, there exist bifurcations of normal modes with nonlinearly coupling stiffness and asymmetric parameter varying. The bifurcating set on the parameter and bifurcating curves of normal modes are obtained.展开更多

A sequence of variables obeying Bernoulli distribution are employed to model the randomly occurring communication delays which could be different for different state variables. A discrete switching function that is different from those in the existing literature is first proposed. Then, expressed as the feasibility of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) with an equality constraint, sufficient conditions are derived in order to ensure the globally mean-square asymptotic stability of the system dynamics on the sliding surface. A discrete-time SMC controller is then synthesized to guarantee the discrete-time sliding mode reaching condition with the specified sliding surface. Finally, a simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

The optimal CNF control is first designed as a nominal control to yield high tracking speed and low overshoot. The selection of all the tuning parameters for the CNF control law is turned into a minimization problem and solved automatically by particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm. Subsequently, the discontinuous control law is introduced to reject matched disturbances. Then, the optimal ISM-CNF control law is achieved as the sum of the optimal CNF control law and the discontinuous control law. The effectiveness of the optimal ISM-CNF controller is verified by comparing with a step by step designed one. High tracking performance is achieved by applying the optimal ISM-CNF controller to the tracking control of the micromirror.展开更多

文摘Nonlinear normal modes in a two degrees of freedom asymmetric system with cubic nonlinearities as singularity occurs in the system are studied, based on the invariant space in nonlinear normal modes and perturbation technique. The bifurcating set on the parameter and bifurcating curves of normal modes are obtained.

文摘This paper deals with the robust control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear networked systems with stochastic communication delays via sliding mode conception (SMC). Finally, a simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

文摘For a class of aeroengine nonlinear systems,a novel nonlinear sliding mode controller(SMC)design method based on artificial bee colony(ABC)algorithm is proposed. In view of the strong nonlinearity and uncertainty of aeroengines, sliding mode control strategy is adopted to design controller for the aeroengine. On basis of exact linearization approach, the nonlinear sliding mode controller is obtained conveniently.By using ABC algorithm, the parameters in the designed controller can be tuned to achieve optimal performance, resulting in a closedloop system with satisfactory dynamic performance and high steady accuracy.Simulation on an aeroengine verifies the effectiveness of the presented method.

文摘This paper presents an optimization method of designing the integral sliding mode (ISM) based composite nonlinear feedback (CNF) controller for a class of low order linear systems with input saturation. High tracking performance is achieved by applying the optimal ISM-CNF controller to the tracking control of the micromirror.

文摘A novel fuzzy terminal sliding mode control (FTSMC) scheme is proposed for position tracking of a class of second-order nonlinear uncertain system. In the proposed scheme, we integrate input-output linearization technique to cancel the nonlinearities. By using a function-augmented sliding hyperplane, it is guaranteed that the output tracking error converges to zero in finite time which can be set arbitrarily. The proposed scheme eliminates reaching phase problem, so that the closed-loop system always shows invariance property to parameter uncertainties. Fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown system functions and switch item. Robust adaptive law is proposed to reduce approximation errors between true nonlinear functions and fuzzy systems, thus chattering phenomenon can be eliminated. Stability of the proposed control scheme is proved and the scheme is applied to an inverted pendulum system. Simulation studies are provided to confirm performance and effectiveness of the proposed control approach.
文摘Asymptotic stability of nonlinear fractional order affine systems with bounded inputs is dealt. The main contribution is to design a new bounded fractional order chattering free sliding mode controller in which the system states converge to the sliding surface at a determined finite time.To eliminate the chattering in the sliding mode and make the input controller bounded, hyperbolic tangent is used for designing the proposed fractional order sliding surface. Finally, the stability of the closed loop system using this bounded sliding mode controller is guaranteed by Lyapunov theory.A comparison with the integer order case is then presented and fractional order nonlinear polynomial systems are also studied as the special case. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the designed controller.
