So, a new method for establishing a hydraulic roll bending control system is put forward by cerebellar model articulation controller (CMAC) neural network and proportional-integral-derivative (PID) coupling control strategy. The non-linear relationship between input and output can be achieved by the concept mapping and the actual mapping of CMAC. The simulation results show that, compared with the conventional PID control algo- rithm, the parallel control algorithm can overcome the influence of parameter change of roll bending system on the control performance, thus improve the anti jamming capability of the system greatly, reduce the dependence of con- trol performance on the accuracy of the analytical model, enhance the tracking performance of hydraulic roll bending loop for the hydraulic and roll bending force and increase system response speed. The results indicate that the CMAC-P1D coupling control strategy for hydraulic roll bending system is effective.展开更多

Topside length Lt, maximum width Wt and half-length ratio Rh1 were selected to depict topside weld pool shape, and were measured on-line by vision sensing. A dynamic neural network model was constructed to predict the usually unmeasured backside width and topside height of the weld through topside shape parameters and welding parameters. The inputs of the model were the welding parameters (peak current, pulse duty ratio, welding speed, filler rate), the joint gap, the topside pool shape parameters (Lt, Wt, and Rh1), and their history values at two former pulse, a total of 24 numbers. The validating experiment results proved that the artificial neural network (ANN) model had high precision and could be used in process control. At last, with the developed dynamic model, steady and dynamic behavior was analyzed by simulation experiments, which discovered the variation rules of weld pool shape parameters under different welding parameters, and further knew well the characteristic of the welding process.展开更多

A three-layer feed-forward network is chosen based on the back-propagation (BP) algorithm. Latitude, longitude, and height are chosen as the input vectors of the network while temperature is the output vector. The temperature observations during the period from 13 January through 16 March 2007, which are in the same satellite yaw, are taken as samples to train an ANN. Results suggest that the network has high quality for modeling spatial variations of temperature. Quantitative comparisons between the ANN outputs and those from the popular empirical NRLMSISE-00 model illustrate their generally consistent features and some specific differences. The NRLMSISE-00 model's zonal mean temperatures are too high by ~6 K-10 K near the stratopause, and the amplitude and phase of the planetary wave number 1 activity are different in some respects from the ANN simulations above 45-50 km, suggesting improvement is needed in the NRLMSISE-00 model for more accurate simulation near and above the stratopause.展开更多

Eighty-five datasets were used to estimate the gold dissolution. Six input parameters, time, solid percentage, P50 of particle, NaCN content in cyanide media, temperature of solution and pH value were used. For selecting the best model, the outputs of models were compared with measured data. A fourth-layer ANN is found to be optimum with architecture of twenty, fifteen, ten and five neurons in the first, second, third and fourth hidden layers, respectively, and one neuron in output layer. The results of artificial neural network show that the square correlation coefficients (R2) of training, testing and validating data achieve 0.999 1, 0.996 4 and 0.9981, respectively. Sensitivity analysis shows that the highest and lowest effects on the gold dissolution rise from time and pH, respectively It is verified that the predicted values of ANN coincide well with the experimental results.展开更多

文摘The hydraulic roll bending control system usually has the dynamic characteristics of nonlinearity, slow time variance and strong outside interference in the roiling process, so it is difficult to establish a precise mathemati- cal model for control. Next, the validated model was used to generalize mineral grades at known and unknown sampled locations inside the drilling region respectively. Finally, the reproduced and generalized assay values were combined and fed to geostatistics in order to develop a geological 3D block model. The regression analysis revealed that the predicted sample grades were in close proximity to the actual sample grades, The generalized grades from the ANNMG show that this process could be used to complement exploration activities thereby reducing drilling requirement. It could also be an effective mineral reserve evaluation method that could oroduce optimum block model for mine design.
文摘For the accurate description of aerodynamic characteristics for aircraft,a wavelet neural network (WNN) aerodynamic modeling method from flight data, based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with information sharing strategy and velocity disturbance operator,is proposed. In improved PSO algorithm,an information sharing strategy is used to avoid the premature convergence as much as possible;the velocity disturbance operator is adopted to jump out of this position once falling into the premature convergence.Simulations on lateral and longitudinal aerodynamic modeling for ATTAS (advanced technologies testing aircraft system) indicate that the proposed method can achieve the accuracy improvement of an order of magnitude compared with SPSO-WNN,and can converge to a satisfactory precision by only 60 120 iterations in contrast to SPSO-WNN with 6 times precocities in 200 times repetitive experiments using Morlet and Mexican hat wavelet functions.Furthermore,it is proved that the proposed method is feasible and effective for aerodynamic modeling from flight data.

文摘An artificial neural network (ANN) is used to model the middle atmosphere using a large number of TIMED/SABER limb sounding temperature profiles. The NRLMSISE-00 model's zonal mean temperatures are too high by ~6 K-10 K near the stratopause, and the amplitude and phase of the planetary wave number 1 activity are different in some respects from the ANN simulations above 45-50 km, suggesting improvement is needed in the NRLMSISE-00 model for more accurate simulation near and above the stratopause.
文摘The effects of cyanidation conditions on gold dissolution were studied by artificial neural network (ANN) modeling. Sensitivity analysis shows that the highest and lowest effects on the gold dissolution rise from time and pH, respectively It is verified that the predicted values of ANN coincide well with the experimental results.
