Any malfunctions of the actuators of the robots have the potential to destroy the robot’s normal motion,and most of the current actuator fault diagnosis methods are difficult to meet the requirements of simplifying t...Any malfunctions of the actuators of the robots have the potential to destroy the robot’s normal motion,and most of the current actuator fault diagnosis methods are difficult to meet the requirements of simplifying the actuator modeling and solving the difficulty of fault data collection.To solve the problem of real-time diagnosis of actuator faults in the 3-PR(P)S parallel robot,the model of 3-PR(P)S parallel robot and data-driven-based method for the fault diagnosis are presented.Firstly,only the input-output relationship of the actuator is considered for modeling actuator faults,reducing the complexity of fault modeling and reducing the time consumption of parameter identification,thereby meeting the requirements of real-time diagnosis.A Simulink model of the electromechanical actuator(EMA)was constructed to analyze actuator faults.Then the short-term analysis method was employed for collecting the sample data of the slider position on the test platform of the EMA system and feature extraction.Training samples for neural networks are obtained.Furthermore,we optimized the Back Propagation(BP)neural network using the Dung Beetle Optimization Algorithm(DBO),which effectively resolved the weights and thresholds of the BP neural network.Compared to BP and Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)-BP,the DBO-BP has better convergence,convergence rate,and the best-classifying quality.So,the classification for the different actuator faults is obviously improved.Finally,a fault diagnosis system was designed for the actuator of the 3-PR(P)S parallel robot,and the experimental results demonstrate that this system can detect actuator faults within 0.1 seconds.This work also provides the technical support for the fault-tolerant control of the 3-PR(P)S Parallel robot.展开更多
A reliable and effective model for reservoir physical property prediction is a key to reservoir characterization and management.At present,using well logging data to estimate reservoir physical parameters is an import...A reliable and effective model for reservoir physical property prediction is a key to reservoir characterization and management.At present,using well logging data to estimate reservoir physical parameters is an important means for reservoir evaluation.Based on the characteristics of large quantity and complexity of estimating process,we have attempted to design a nonlinear back propagation neural network model optimized by genetic algorithm(BPNNGA)for reservoir porosity prediction.This model is with the advantages of self-learning and self-adaption of back propagation neural network(BPNN),structural parameters optimizing and global searching optimal solution of genetic algorithm(GA).The model is applied to the Chang 8 oil group tight sandstone of Yanchang Formation in southwestern Ordos Basin.According to the correlations between well logging data and measured core porosity data,5 well logging curves(gamma ray,deep induction,density,acoustic,and compensated neutron)are selected as the input neurons while the measured core porosity is selected as the output neurons.The number of hidden layer neurons is defined as 20 by the method of multiple calibrating optimizations.Modeling results demonstrate that the average relative error of the model output is 10.77%,indicating the excellent predicting effect of the model.The predicting results of the model are compared with the predicting results of conventional multivariate stepwise regression algorithm,and BPNN model.The average relative errors of the above models are 12.83%,12.9%,and 13.47%,respectively.Results show that the predicting results of the BPNNGA model are more accurate than that of the other two,and BPNNGA is a more applicable method to estimate the reservoir porosity parameters in the study area.展开更多

According to the ergodicity of chaos algorithm and global convergence of genetic algorithm, the basic idea of this paper is to encode the weights and thresholds of BP neural network and obtain a general optimal solution with genetic algorithm, and then the general optimal solution is optimized to the accurate optimal solution by adding chaotic disturbance. The optimal results of the chaotic genetic algorithm are used as the initial weights and thresholds of the BP neural network to recognize the gesture. Simulation and experimental results show that the real-time performance and accuracy of the gesture recognition are greatly improved with CGA.展开更多
To enhance the efficiency of stochastic vibration analysis for the Train-Track-Bridge(TTB)coupled system,this paper proposes a prediction method based on a Genetic Algorithm-optimized Backpropagation(GA-BP)neural netw...To enhance the efficiency of stochastic vibration analysis for the Train-Track-Bridge(TTB)coupled system,this paper proposes a prediction method based on a Genetic Algorithm-optimized Backpropagation(GA-BP)neural network.First,initial track irregularity samples and random parameter sets of the Vehicle-Bridge System(VBS)are generated using the stochastic harmonic function method.Then,the stochastic dynamic responses corresponding to the sample sets are calculated using a developed stochastic vibration analysis model of the TTB system.The track irregularity data and vehicle-bridge random parameters are used as input variables,while the corresponding stochastic responses serve as output variables for training the BP neural network to construct the prediction model.Subsequently,the Genetic Algorithm(GA)is applied to optimize the BP neural network by considering the randomness in excitation and parameters of the TTB system,improving model accuracy.After optimization,the trained GA-BP model enables rapid and accurate prediction of vehicle-bridge responses.To validate the proposed method,predictions of vehicle-bridge responses under varying train speeds are compared with numerical simulation results.The findings demonstrate that the proposed method offers notable advantages in predicting the stochastic vibration response of high-speed railway TTB coupled systems.展开更多
For optimal design of mechanical clinching steel-aluminum joints,the back propagation(BP)neural network is used to research the mapping relationship between joining technique parameters including sheet thickness,sheet...For optimal design of mechanical clinching steel-aluminum joints,the back propagation(BP)neural network is used to research the mapping relationship between joining technique parameters including sheet thickness,sheet hardness,joint bottom diameter etc.,and mechanical properties of shearing and peeling in order to investigate joining technology between various material plates in the steel-aluminum hybrid structure car body.Genetic algorithm(GA)is adopted to optimize the back-propagation neural network connection weights.The training and validating samples are made by the BTM Tog-L-Loc system with different technologic parameters.The training samples'parameters and the corresponding joints'mechanical properties are supplied to the artificial neural network(ANN)for training.The validating samples'experimental data is used for checking up the prediction outputs.The calculation results show that GA can improve the model's prediction precision and generalization ability of BP neural network.The comparative analysis between the experimental data and the prediction outputs shows that ANN prediction models after training can effectively predict the mechanical properties of mechanical clinching joints and prove the feasibility and reliability of the intelligent neural networks system when used in the mechanical properties prediction of mechanical clinching joints.The prediction results can be used for a reference in the design of mechanical clinching steel-aluminum joints.展开更多

Among all of force disturbances, the force ripple is the dominant while a linear motor runs in low speed. In order to suppress the force ripple, back propagation(BP) neural network is proposed to learn the function of the force ripple of linear motors, and the acquisition method of training samples is proposed based on a disturbance observer. An off-line BP neural network is used mainly because of its high running efficiency and the real-time requirement of the servo control system of a linear motor. By using the function, the force ripple is on-line compensated according to the position of the LM. The experimental results show that the force ripple is effectively suppressed by the compensation of the BP neural network.展开更多
In the process of Wavelet Analysis,only the low-frequency signals are re-decomposed,and the high-frequency signals are no longer decomposed,resulting in a decrease in frequency resolution with increasing frequency.The...In the process of Wavelet Analysis,only the low-frequency signals are re-decomposed,and the high-frequency signals are no longer decomposed,resulting in a decrease in frequency resolution with increasing frequency.Therefore,in this paper,firstly,Wavelet Packet Decomposition is used for feature extraction of vibration signals,which makes up for the shortcomings of Wavelet Analysis in extracting fault features of nonlinear vibration signals,and different energy values in different frequency bands are obtained by Wavelet Packet Decomposition.The features are visualized by the K-Means clustering method,and the results show that the extracted energy features can accurately distinguish the different states of the bearing.Then a fault diagnosis model based on BP Neural Network optimized by Beetle Algo-rithm is proposed to identify the bearing faults.Compared with the Particle Swarm Algorithm,Beetle Algorithm can quickly find the error extreme value,which greatly reduces the training time of the model.At last,two experiments are conducted,which show that the accuracy of the model can reach more than 95%,and the model has a certain anti-interference ability.展开更多

In this paper, an image compression and encryption algorithm based on fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system and BP neural network is proposed. In this algorithm, the image pixel values are compressed by BP neural network, the chaotic sequences of the fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system are used to diffuse the pixel values. The experimental simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm not only can effectively compress and encrypt image, but also have better security features. Therefore, this work provides theoretical guidance and experimental basis for the safe transmission and storage of image information in practical communication.展开更多
Because of complexity and non-predictability of the tunnel surrounding rock, the problem with the determination of the physical and mechanical parameters of the surrounding rock has become a main obstacle to theoretic...Because of complexity and non-predictability of the tunnel surrounding rock, the problem with the determination of the physical and mechanical parameters of the surrounding rock has become a main obstacle to theoretical research and numerical analysis in tunnel engineering. During design, it is a frequent practice, therefore, to give recommended values by analog based on experience. It is a key point in current research to make use of the displacement back analytic method to comparatively accurately determine the parameters of the surrounding rock whereas artificial intelligence possesses an exceptionally strong capability of identifying, expressing and coping with such complex non-linear relationships. The parameters can be verified by searching the optimal network structure, using back analysis on measured data to search optimal parameters and performing direct computation of the obtained results. In the current paper, the direct analysis is performed with the biological emulation system and the software of Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC3D. The high non-linearity, network reasoning and coupling ability of the neural network are employed. The output vector required of the training of the neural network is obtained with the numerical analysis software. And the overall space search is conducted by employing the Adaptive Immunity Algorithm. As a result, we are able to avoid the shortcoming that multiple parameters and optimized parameters are easy to fall into a local extremum. At the same time, the computing speed and efficiency are increased as well. Further, in the paper satisfactory conclusions are arrived at through the intelligent direct-back analysis on the monitored and measured data at the Erdaoya tunneling project. The results show that the physical and mechanical parameters obtained by the intelligent direct-back analysis proposed in the current paper have effectively improved the recommended values in the original prospecting data. This is of practical significance to the appraisal of stability and informationization design of the surrounding rock.展开更多

Topography can strongly affect ground motion,and studies of the quantification of hill surfaces’topographic effect are relatively rare.In this paper,a new quantitative seismic topographic effect prediction method bas...Topography can strongly affect ground motion,and studies of the quantification of hill surfaces’topographic effect are relatively rare.In this paper,a new quantitative seismic topographic effect prediction method based upon the BP neural network algorithm and three-dimensional finite element method(FEM)was developed.The FEM simulation results were compared with seismic records and the results show that the PGA and response spectra have a tendency to increase with increasing elevation,but the correlation between PGA amplification factors and slope is not obvious for low hills.New BP neural network models were established for the prediction of amplification factors of PGA and response spectra.Two kinds of input variables’combinations which are convenient to achieve are proposed in this paper for the prediction of amplification factors of PGA and response spectra,respectively.The absolute values of prediction errors can be mostly within 0.1 for PGA amplification factors,and they can be mostly within 0.2 for response spectra’s amplification factors.One input variables’combination can achieve better prediction performance while the other one has better expandability of the predictive region.Particularly,the BP models only employ one hidden layer with about a hundred nodes,which makes it efficient for training.展开更多

Analog circuit is an important part of electronic components. Its fault diagnosis is far more challenging than that of digital circuit. Simulations and applications have shown that the methods based on BP neural network are effective in analog circuit fault diagnosis. Aiming at the tolerance of analog circuit,a combinatorial optimization diagnosis scheme was proposed with back propagation( BP) neural network( BPNN).The main contributions of this scheme included two parts:( 1) the random tolerance samples were added into the nominal training samples to establish new training samples,which were used to train the BP neural network based diagnosis model;( 2) the initial weights of the BP neural network were optimized by genetic algorithm( GA) to avoid local minima,and the BP neural network was tuned with Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm( LMA) in the local solution space to look for the optimum solution or approximate optimal solutions. The experimental results show preliminarily that the scheme substantially improves the whole learning process approximation and generalization ability,and effectively promotes analog circuit fault diagnosis performance based on BPNN.展开更多

Therefore, this article established a prediction model for the total amount of manure in a pig house and took the number of pigs in the house, age, feed intake,feeding time, the time when the ammonia concentration increased the fastest and the daily fixed cleaning time as variable factors for modelling, so that the model could obtain the current manure output according to the real-time input of time. A Backpropagation(BP) neural network was used for training. The cross-validation method was used to select the best hyperparameters, and the genetic algorithm(GA), particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm and mind evolutionary algorithm(MEA) were selected to optimize the initial network weights. The results showed that the model could predict the amount of manure in real-time according to the model input. After the cross-validation method determined the hyperparameters, the GA, PSO and MEA were used to optimize the manure prediction model. The GA had the best average performance.展开更多

文摘For optimal design of mechanical clinching steel-aluminum joints,the back propagation(BP)neural network is used to research the mapping relationship between joining technique parameters including sheet thickness,sheet hardness,joint bottom diameter etc.,and mechanical properties of shearing and peeling in order to investigate joining technology between various material plates in the steel-aluminum hybrid structure car body.Genetic algorithm(GA)is adopted to optimize the back-propagation neural network connection weights.The training and validating samples are made by the BTM Tog-L-Loc system with different technologic parameters.The training samples'parameters and the corresponding joints'mechanical properties are supplied to the artificial neural network(ANN)for training.The validating samples'experimental data is used for checking up the prediction outputs.The calculation results show that GA can improve the model's prediction precision and generalization ability of BP neural network.The comparative analysis between the experimental data and the prediction outputs shows that ANN prediction models after training can effectively predict the mechanical properties of mechanical clinching joints and prove the feasibility and reliability of the intelligent neural networks system when used in the mechanical properties prediction of mechanical clinching joints.The prediction results can be used for a reference in the design of mechanical clinching steel-aluminum joints.

文摘Various force disturbances influence the thrust force of linear motors when a linear motor (LM) is running. Among all of force disturbances, the force ripple is the dominant while a linear motor runs in low speed. In order to suppress the force ripple, back propagation(BP) neural network is proposed to learn the function of the force ripple of linear motors, and the acquisition method of training samples is proposed based on a disturbance observer. An off-line BP neural network is used mainly because of its high running efficiency and the real-time requirement of the servo control system of a linear motor. By using the function, the force ripple is on-line compensated according to the position of the LM. The experimental results show that the force ripple is effectively suppressed by the compensation of the BP neural network.

文摘In the process of Wavelet Analysis,only the low-frequency signals are re-decomposed,and the high-frequency signals are no longer decomposed,resulting in a decrease in frequency resolution with increasing frequency.Therefore,in this paper,firstly,Wavelet Packet Decomposition is used for feature extraction of vibration signals,which makes up for the shortcomings of Wavelet Analysis in extracting fault features of nonlinear vibration signals,and different energy values in different frequency bands are obtained by Wavelet Packet Decomposition.The features are visualized by the K-Means clustering method,and the results show that the extracted energy features can accurately distinguish the different states of the bearing.Then a fault diagnosis model based on BP Neural Network optimized by Beetle Algo-rithm is proposed to identify the bearing faults.Compared with the Particle Swarm Algorithm,Beetle Algorithm can quickly find the error extreme value,which greatly reduces the training time of the model.At last,two experiments are conducted,which show that the accuracy of the model can reach more than 95%,and the model has a certain anti-interference ability.

文摘To reduce the bandwidth and storage resources of image information in communication transmission, and improve the secure communication of information. In this paper, an image compression and encryption algorithm based on fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system and BP neural network is proposed. In this algorithm, the image pixel values are compressed by BP neural network, the chaotic sequences of the fractional-order memristive hyperchaotic system are used to diffuse the pixel values. The experimental simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm not only can effectively compress and encrypt image, but also have better security features. Therefore, this work provides theoretical guidance and experimental basis for the safe transmission and storage of image information in practical communication.

文摘Because of complexity and non-predictability of the tunnel surrounding rock, the problem with the determination of the physical and mechanical parameters of the surrounding rock has become a main obstacle to theoretical research and numerical analysis in tunnel engineering. During design, it is a frequent practice, therefore, to give recommended values by analog based on experience. It is a key point in current research to make use of the displacement back analytic method to comparatively accurately determine the parameters of the surrounding rock whereas artificial intelligence possesses an exceptionally strong capability of identifying, expressing and coping with such complex non-linear relationships. The parameters can be verified by searching the optimal network structure, using back analysis on measured data to search optimal parameters and performing direct computation of the obtained results. In the current paper, the direct analysis is performed with the biological emulation system and the software of Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua (FLAC3D. The high non-linearity, network reasoning and coupling ability of the neural network are employed. The output vector required of the training of the neural network is obtained with the numerical analysis software. And the overall space search is conducted by employing the Adaptive Immunity Algorithm. As a result, we are able to avoid the shortcoming that multiple parameters and optimized parameters are easy to fall into a local extremum. At the same time, the computing speed and efficiency are increased as well. Further, in the paper satisfactory conclusions are arrived at through the intelligent direct-back analysis on the monitored and measured data at the Erdaoya tunneling project. The results show that the physical and mechanical parameters obtained by the intelligent direct-back analysis proposed in the current paper have effectively improved the recommended values in the original prospecting data. This is of practical significance to the appraisal of stability and informationization design of the surrounding rock.

文摘Aiming at the problem that back propagation(BP)neural network predicts the low accuracy rate of fluff fabric after fluffing process,a BP neural network model optimized by particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is proposed.The sliced image is obtained by the principle of light-cutting imaging.The fluffy region of the adaptive image segmentation is extracted by the Freeman chain code principle.The upper edge coordinate information of the fabric is subjected to one-dimensional discrete wavelet decomposition to obtain high frequency information and low frequency information.After comparison and analysis,the BP neural network was trained by high frequency information,and the PSO algorithm was used to optimize the BP neural network.The optimized BP neural network has better weights and thresholds.The experimental results show that the accuracy of the optimized BP neural network after applying high-frequency information training is 97.96%,which is 3.79%higher than that of the unoptimized BP neural network,and has higher detection accuracy.
文摘A back propagation (BP) neural network mathematical model was established to investigate the maneuvering control of an air cushion vehicle (ACV). The calculation was based on four-freedom-degree model experiments of hydrodynamics and aerodynamics. It is necessary for the ACV to control the velocity and the yaw rate as well as the velocity angle at the same time. The yaw rate and the velocity angle must be controlled correspondingly because of the whipping, which is a special characteristic for the ACV. The calculation results show that it is an efficient way for the ACV's maneuvering control by using a BP neural network to adjust PID parameters online.

文摘Topography can strongly affect ground motion,and studies of the quantification of hill surfaces’topographic effect are relatively rare.In this paper,a new quantitative seismic topographic effect prediction method based upon the BP neural network algorithm and three-dimensional finite element method(FEM)was developed.The FEM simulation results were compared with seismic records and the results show that the PGA and response spectra have a tendency to increase with increasing elevation,but the correlation between PGA amplification factors and slope is not obvious for low hills.New BP neural network models were established for the prediction of amplification factors of PGA and response spectra.Two kinds of input variables’combinations which are convenient to achieve are proposed in this paper for the prediction of amplification factors of PGA and response spectra,respectively.The absolute values of prediction errors can be mostly within 0.1 for PGA amplification factors,and they can be mostly within 0.2 for response spectra’s amplification factors.One input variables’combination can achieve better prediction performance while the other one has better expandability of the predictive region.Particularly,the BP models only employ one hidden layer with about a hundred nodes,which makes it efficient for training.
文摘Thermal deformation error is one of the most important factors affecting the CNCs’ accuracy, so research is conducted on the temperature errors affecting CNCs’ machining accuracy;on the basis of analyzing the unpredictability and pre-maturing of the results of the genetic algorithm, as well as the slow speed of the training speed of the particle algorithm, a kind of Mind Evolutionary Algorithm optimized BP neural network featuring extremely strong global search capacity was proposed;type KVC850MA/2 five-axis CNC of Changzheng Lathe Factory was used as the research subject, and the Mind Evolutionary Algorithm optimized BP neural network algorithm was used for the establishment of the compensation model between temperature changes and the CNCs’ thermal deformation errors, as well as the realization method on hardware. The simulation results indicated that this method featured extremely high practical value.

文摘Electronic components' reliability has become the key of the complex system mission execution. Analog circuit is an important part of electronic components. Its fault diagnosis is far more challenging than that of digital circuit. Simulations and applications have shown that the methods based on BP neural network are effective in analog circuit fault diagnosis. Aiming at the tolerance of analog circuit,a combinatorial optimization diagnosis scheme was proposed with back propagation( BP) neural network( BPNN).The main contributions of this scheme included two parts:( 1) the random tolerance samples were added into the nominal training samples to establish new training samples,which were used to train the BP neural network based diagnosis model;( 2) the initial weights of the BP neural network were optimized by genetic algorithm( GA) to avoid local minima,and the BP neural network was tuned with Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm( LMA) in the local solution space to look for the optimum solution or approximate optimal solutions. The experimental results show preliminarily that the scheme substantially improves the whole learning process approximation and generalization ability,and effectively promotes analog circuit fault diagnosis performance based on BPNN.
文摘Because of the powerful mapping ability, back propagation neural network (BP-NN) has been employed in computer-aided product design (CAPD) to establish the property prediction model. The backward problem in CAPD is to search for the appropriate structure or composition of the product with desired property, which is an optimization problem. In this paper, a global optimization method of using the a BB algorithm to solve the backward problem is presented. In particular, a convex lower bounding function is constructed for the objective function formulated with BP-NN model, and the calculation of the key parameter a is implemented by recurring to the interval Hessian matrix of the objective function. Two case studies involving the design of dopamine β-hydroxylase (DβH) inhibitors and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) nano composites are investigated using the proposed method.

文摘The heating technological requirement of the conventional PID control is difficult to guarantee which based on the precise mathematical model,because the heating furnace for heating treatment with the big inertia,the pure time delay and nonlinear time-varying.Proposed one kind optimized variable method of PID controller based on the genetic algorithm with improved BP network that better realized the completely automatic intelligent control of the entire thermal process than the classics critical purporting(Z-N)method.A heating furnace for the object was simulated with MATLAB,simulation results show that the control system has the quicker response characteristic,the better dynamic characteristic and the quite stronger robustness,which has some promotional value for the control of industrial furnace.
文摘The advantages and disadvantages of genetic algorithm and BP algorithm are introduced. A neural network based on GA-BP algorithm is proposed and applied in the prediction of protein secondary structure, which combines the advantages of BP and GA. The prediction and training on the neural network are made respectively based on 4 structure classifications of protein so as to get higher rate of predication---the highest prediction rate 75.65%,the average prediction rate 65.04%.

文摘The automatic control of cleaning need to be based on the total amount of manure in the house. Therefore, this article established a prediction model for the total amount of manure in a pig house and took the number of pigs in the house, age, feed intake,feeding time, the time when the ammonia concentration increased the fastest and the daily fixed cleaning time as variable factors for modelling, so that the model could obtain the current manure output according to the real-time input of time. A Backpropagation(BP) neural network was used for training. The cross-validation method was used to select the best hyperparameters, and the genetic algorithm(GA), particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm and mind evolutionary algorithm(MEA) were selected to optimize the initial network weights. The results showed that the model could predict the amount of manure in real-time according to the model input. After the cross-validation method determined the hyperparameters, the GA, PSO and MEA were used to optimize the manure prediction model. The GA had the best average performance.

文摘With more and more researches about improving BP algorithm, there are more improvement methods. The paper researches two improvement algorithms based on quasi-Newton method, DFP algorithm and L-BFGS algorithm. After fully analyzing the features of quasi- Newton methods, the paper improves BP neural network algorithm. And the adjustment is made for the problems in the improvement process. The paper makes empirical analysis and proves the effectiveness of BP neural network algorithm based on quasi-Newton method. The improved algorithms are compared with the traditional BP algorithm, which indicates that the imoroved BP algorithm is better.
