The increased accessibility of social networking services(SNSs)has facilitated communication and information sharing among users.However,it has also heightened concerns about digital safety,particularly for children and adolescents who are increasingly exposed to online grooming crimes.Early and accurate identification of grooming conversations is crucial in preventing long-term harm to victims.However,research on grooming detection in South Korea remains limited,as existing models trained primarily on English text and fail to reflect the unique linguistic features of SNS conversations,leading to inaccurate classifications.To address these issues,this study proposes a novel framework that integrates optical character recognition(OCR)technology with KcELECTRA,a deep learning-based natural language processing(NLP)model that shows excellent performance in processing the colloquial Korean language.In the proposed framework,the KcELECTRA model is fine-tuned by an extensive dataset,including Korean social media conversations,Korean ethical verification data from AI-Hub,and Korean hate speech data from Hug-gingFace,to enable more accurate classification of text extracted from social media conversation images.Experimental results show that the proposed framework achieves an accuracy of 0.953,outperforming existing transformer-based models.Furthermore,OCR technology shows high accuracy in extracting text from images,demonstrating that the proposed framework is effective for online grooming detection.The proposed framework is expected to contribute to the more accurate detection of grooming text and the prevention of grooming-related crimes. 展开更多

With the intensifying aging population,rural elderly care services are facing challenges such as uneven medical resources and inadequate facilities.Taking Qinhuangdao City as an example,this paper explores ways to improve rural elderly care services through the construction of a remote medical service network.This paper analyzes the current status of rural elderly care services in Qinhuangdao City,pointing out that issues such as the uneven distribution of medical resources between urban and rural areas,poor accessibility,and low service quality urgently need to be addressed.The necessity of accelerating the construction of a remote medical network is proposed,including reducing medical costs,optimizing resource allocation,and disease prevention.Specific measures cover aspects such as policy support,integration of medical and elderly care services,talent cultivation,and technology promotion.At the same time,the potential challenges and risks faced by the remote medical service network in improving rural elderly care services are evaluated,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.Research shows that remote medical care can effectively improve the quality of rural elderly care services and help achieve proper medical care for the elderly. 展开更多

Using IQA to Extract Mental Models Concerning Quality Evaluation Factors for Social Networking Services on Smartphones 被引量:1

Although today’s users of mobile phones are afforded increasing control as the popularity and richness of information provided by smartphones increases, how these users make choices and evaluations cannot be explicitly expressed. This study uses an acute observation of designers of technology and aesthetics to conduct a mental-model analysis of smartphones with the purpose of explicitly identifying the differences in the schemas of users. This study also modifies the mental model to evaluate the practicability of the mental model. Hence, this study investigates groups of subjects, comparing freshmen and graduating students froma college of design, and adopts a schematized data collection and analysis approach, Interactive Qualitative Analysis (IQA), to ascertain the relationships between factors and establish a complete user mental model. The study results present 11 primary affinity factors: “Pricing,” “Advertisement,” “User Interface,” “Innovation Functions,” “System Maintenance,” “Privacy,” “Utility Functions,” “Personalization,” “Network Performance,” “Customer Service,” and “Multimedia Contents.” The primary driver in evaluating smartphones is found to be “Pricing” for graduating students and “Privacy” for freshmen. The two groups share the same final effect factor, “Multimedia Contents.” This study has successfully identified differences between the different mental models of the two groups, supporting the method that using IQA to perform a quality evaluation of social networking for smartphones is effective. Consequently, platform developers can understand user demand through a mental model and can design good platform functions to effectively improve users’ experience of smartphones. 展开更多

Aiming to solve this problem, a hierarchy Bayesian model based services awareness mechanism is proposed for high-speed optical access networks. This approach builds a so-called hierarchy Bayesian model, according to the structure of typical optical access networks. Moreover, the proposed scheme is able to conduct simple services awareness operation in each optical network unit(ONU) and to perform complex services awareness from the whole view of system in optical line terminal(OLT). Simulation results show that the proposed scheme is able to achieve better quality of services(Qo S), in terms of packet loss rate and time delay. 展开更多

Enhanced Reliability in Network Function Virtualization by Hybrid Hexagon-Cost Efficient Algorithm

In this,communication world, the Network Function Virtualization concept is utilized for many businesses, small services to virtualize the network nodefunction and to build a block that may connect the chain, communication services.Mainly, Virtualized Network Function Forwarding Graph (VNF-FG) has beenused to define the connection between the VNF and to give the best end-to-endservices. In the existing method, VNF mapping and backup VNF were proposedbut there was no profit and reliability improvement of the backup and mapping ofthe primary VNF. As a consequence, this paper offers a Hybrid Hexagon-CostEfficient algorithm for determining the best VNF among multiple VNF and backing up the best VNF, lowering backup costs while increasing dependability. TheVNF is chosen based on the highest cost-aware important measure (CIM) rate,which is used to assess the relevance of the VNF forwarding graph.To achieveoptimal cost-efficiency, VNF with the maximum CIM is selected. After the selection process, updating is processed by three steps which include one backup VNFfrom one SFC, two backup VNF from one Service Function Chain (SFC),and twobackup VNF from different SFC. Finally, this proposed method is compared withCERA, MinCost, MaxRbyInr based on backup cost, number of used PN nodes,SFC request utility, and latency. The simulation result shows that the proposedmethod cuts down the backup cost and computation time by 57% and 45% compared with the CER scheme and improves the cost-efficiency. As a result, this proposed system achieves less backup cost, high reliability, and low timeconsumption which can improve the Virtualized Network Function operation. 展开更多

Thus the SDN (software-defmed networking) concept may be an important solution. This paper suggests the implementation of a tool to support the development and testing of networks and services before they are put into production. The use of a tool that simplifies the configuration of a network service makes the networks and services to be less susceptible to errors and failures by those who set them up, thus allowing telecom operators, among others, to be able to create new services, improve the monitorization of their human resources and, above all, improve their fmancial results. In the end, success will be achieved because with a simple interaction and basic knowledge we are able to manage network services. 展开更多

Differently from the general online social network(OSN),locationbased mobile social network(LMSN),which seamlessly integrates mobile computing and social computing technologies,has unique characteristics of temporal,spatial and social correlation.Recommending friends instantly based on current location of users in the real world has become increasingly popular in LMSN.However,the existing friend recommendation methods based on topological structures of a social network or non-topological information such as similar user profiles cannot well address the instant making friends in the real world.In this article,we analyze users' check-in behavior in a real LMSN site named Gowalla.According to this analysis,we present an approach of recommending friends instantly for LMSN users by considering the real-time physical location proximity,offline behavior similarity and friendship network information in the virtual community simultaneously.This approach effectively bridges the gap between the offline behavior of users in the real world and online friendship network information in the virtual community.Finally,we use the real user check-in dataset of Gowalla to verify the effectiveness of our approach. 展开更多

The space-air-ground integrated network(SAGIN) is regarded as the key approach to realize global coverage in future network and it reaches broad access for various services. Being the new paradigm of service, immersive media(IM) has attracted users’ attention for its virtualization, but it poses challenges to network performance, e.g. bandwidth, rate, latency. However, the SAGIN has limitations in supporting IM services, such as 4 K/8 K video, virtual reality, and interactive games. In this paper, a novel service customized SAGIN architecture for IM applications(SAG-IM) is proposed, which achieves content interactive and real-time communication among terminal users. State-of-the-art research is investigated in detail to facilitate the combination of SAGIN and service customized technology, which provides endto-end differentiated services for users. Besides, the functional components of SAG-IM contain the infrastructure layer, perception layer, intelligence layer, and application layer, reaching the capabilities of intelligent management of the network. Moreover, to provide IM content with ultra-high-definition and high frame rate for the optimal user experience, the promising key technologies on intelligent routing and delivery are discussed. The performance evaluation shows the superiority of SAG-IM in supporting IM service.Finally, the prospects in practical application are high-lighted. 展开更多

The concurrent presence of different types of traffic in multimedia applications might aggravate a burden on the underlying data network, which is bound to affect the transmission quality of the specified traffic. Recently, several proposals for fulfilling the quality of service(QoS) guarantees have been presented. However, they can only support coarse-grained QoS with no guarantee of throughput, jitter, delay or loss rate for different applications. To address these more challenging problems, an adaptive scheduling algorithm for Parallel data Processing with Multiple Feedback(PPMF) queues based on software defined networks(SDN) is proposed in this paper, which can guarantee the quality of service of high priority traffic in multimedia applications. PPMF combines the queue bandwidth feedback mechanism to realise the automatic adjustment of the queue bandwidth according to the priority of the packet and network conditions, which can effectively solve the problem of network congestion that has been experienced by some queues for a long time. Experimental results show PPMF significantly outperforms other existing scheduling approaches in achieving 35--80% improvement on average time delay by adjusting the bandwidth adaptively, thus ensuring the transmission quality of the specified traffic and avoiding effectively network congestion. 展开更多

The exponential growth of mobile applications and services during the last years has challenged the existing network infrastructures.Consequently,the arrival of multiple management solutions to cope with this explosion along the end-to-end network chain has increased the complexity in the coordinated orchestration of different segments composing the whole infrastructure.The Zero-touch Network and Service Management(ZSM)concept has recently emerged to automatically orchestrate and manage network resources while assuring the Quality of Experience(QoE)demanded by users.Machine Learning(ML)is one of the key enabling technologies that many ZSM frameworks are adopting to bring intelligent decision making to the network management system.This paper presents a comprehensive survey of the state-of-the-art application of ML-based techniques to improve ZSM performance.To this end,the main related standardization activities and the aligned international projects and research efforts are deeply examined.From this dissection,the skyrocketing growth of the ZSM paradigm can be observed.Concretely,different standardization bodies have already designed reference architectures to set the foundations of novel automatic network management functions and resource orchestration.Aligned with these advances,diverse ML techniques are being currently exploited to build further ZSM developments in different aspects,including multi-tenancy management,traffic monitoring,and architecture coordination,among others.However,different challenges,such as the complexity,scalability,and security of ML mechanisms,are also identified,and future research guidelines are provided to accomplish a firm development of the ZSM ecosystem. 展开更多

ML-SLD:A message-level stateless design for cloud-native 5G core network

The Internet of Things(IoTs)has become an essential component of the 5th Generation(5G)network and beyond,accelerating the transition to digital society.The increasing signaling traffic generated by billions of IoT devices has placed significant strain on the 5G Core network(5GC)control plane.To address this issue,the 3rd Gener-ation Partnership Project(3GPP)first proposed a Service-Based Architecture(SBA),intending to create a flexible,scalable,and agile cloud-native 5GC.However,considering the coupling of protocol states and functions,there are still many challenges to fully utilize the benefits of the cloud computing and orchestrate the 5GC in a cloud-native manner.We propose a Message-Level StateLess Design(ML-SLD)to provide a cloud-native 5GC from an architectural standpoint in this paper.Firstly,we propose an innovative mechanism for servitization of the N2 interface to maintain the connection between Radio Access Network(RAN)and the 5GC,avoiding interruptions and dropouts of large-scale user data.Furthermore,we propose an On-demand Message Forwarding(OMF)al-gorithm to reduce the impact of cloud fluctuations on the performance of cloud-native 5GC.Finally,we create a prototype that is based on the OpenAirInterface(OAI)5G core network projects,with all Network Functions(NFs)packaged in dockers and deployed in a kubernetes-based cloud environment.Several experiments have been built with UERANSIM and Chaosblade simulation tools.The findings demonstrate the viability and efficiency of our proposed methods. 展开更多

In this paper,a hybrid cache placement scheme for multihop wireless service networks is proposed. In this scheme,hot nodes in data transferring path are mined up by means of rout-ing navigation graph,and whole network is covered with network clustering scheme. A hot node has been chosen for cache place-ment in each cluster,and the nodes within a cluster access cache data with no more than two hops. The cache placement scheme reduces data access latency and workload of the server node. It also reduces the average length of data transferring,which means that fewer nodes are involved. The network system energy con-sumption decreased as involved relay nodes reduced. The per-formance analysis shows that the scheme achieves significant system performance improvement in network environment,with a large number of nodes. 展开更多

It involves integrally developing telecom networks and Internet businesses through the convergence of their instant news and social networking services. Some background, benefits for telecom operators, and possible challenges are analyzed. Madness has attracted and frightened for centuries,and talking about this means discussing how this diversity was built and managed in different social contexts and historical periods.Not all societies have had,and still have,the same relationship with madness.It is only with the affirmation of the Modern State,and of Capitalism,that the idea of“normality”indispensable to be able to conceive diversity as something dangerously distant and different from the norm takes over.In our post-modern society,people with mental illness in Italy can resort to specialists and social-health services.But the heterogeneous answers given after the approval of law 180 appear to be increasingly diversified.In this research,much attention will be paid to how the social and health services,located in different areas of Italy(Messina,Rome,Trento)face the current growing risk of social,housing and economic isolation of these fragile subjects.The aim of the research is to explore the possibility of a new relationship between the social-health service and the local community.On the one hand,research investigates what the contribution of the services could be.On the other what the spaces of protagonism and participation of the community could be in inclusion process account.In order to better understand the differences between these two dimensions,a qualitative research approach was chosen through the conduct of in-depth interviews.In this way it was possible to investigate:(1)the partial representations characteristic of the single individual,family members,operators and stackholders in general;(2)the services around the topic dealt with is articulated.From the first results of the research it emerges that the territory can no longer be considered as an abstract entity,but becomes the social space within which the construction of a new community welfare can and must take place. 展开更多
