Dynamic Characteristic Testing of Wind Turbine Structure Based on Visual Monitoring Data Fusion

Addressing the current challenges in transforming pixel displacement into physical displacement in visual monitoring technologies,as well as the inability to achieve precise full-field monitoring,this paper proposes a method for identifying the structural dynamic characteristics of wind turbines based on visual monitoring data fusion.Firstly,the Lucas-Kanade Tomasi(LKT)optical flow method and a multi-region of interest(ROI)monitoring structure are employed to track pixel displacements,which are subsequently subjected to band pass filtering and resampling operations.Secondly,the actual displacement time history is derived through double integration of the acquired acceleration data and subsequent band pass filtering.The scale factor is obtained by applying the least squares method to compare the visual displacement with the displacement derived from double integration of the acceleration data.Based on this,the multi-point displacement time histories under physical coordinates are obtained using the vision data and the scale factor.Subsequently,when visual monitoring of displacements becomes impossible due to issues such as image blurring or lens occlusion,the structural vibration equation and boundary condition constraints,among other key parameters,are employed to predict the displacements at unknown monitoring points,thereby enabling full-field displacement monitoring and dynamic characteristic testing of the structure.Finally,a small-scale shaking table test was conducted on a simulated wind turbine structure undergoing shutdown to validate the dynamic characteristics of the proposed method through test verification.The research results indicate that the proposed method achieves a time-domain error within the submillimeter range and a frequency-domain accuracy of over 99%,effectively monitoring the full-field structural dynamic characteristics of wind turbines and providing a basis for the condition assessment of wind turbine structures. 展开更多

Taking the Ming Tombs Forest Farm in Beijing as the research object,this research applied multi-source data fusion and GIS heat-map overlay analysis techniques,systematically collected bird observation point data from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility(GBIF),population distribution data from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory(ORNL)in the United States,as well as information on the composition of tree species in suitable forest areas for birds and the forest geographical information of the Ming Tombs Forest Farm,which is based on literature research and field investigations.By using GIS technology,spatial processing was carried out on bird observation points and population distribution data to identify suitable bird-watching areas in different seasons.Then,according to the suitability value range,these areas were classified into different grades(from unsuitable to highly suitable).The research findings indicated that there was significant spatial heterogeneity in the bird-watching suitability of the Ming Tombs Forest Farm.The north side of the reservoir was generally a core area with high suitability in all seasons.The deep-aged broad-leaved mixed forests supported the overlapping co-existence of the ecological niches of various bird species,such as the Zosterops simplex and Urocissa erythrorhyncha.In contrast,the shallow forest-edge coniferous pure forests and mixed forests were more suitable for specialized species like Carduelis sinica.The southern urban area and the core area of the mausoleums had relatively low suitability due to ecological fragmentation or human interference.Based on these results,this paper proposed a three-level protection framework of“core area conservation—buffer zone management—isolation zone construction”and a spatio-temporal coordinated human-bird co-existence strategy.It was also suggested that the human-bird co-existence space could be optimized through measures such as constructing sound and light buffer interfaces,restoring ecological corridors,and integrating cultural heritage elements.This research provided an operational technical approach and decision-making support for the scientific planning of bird-watching sites and the coordination of ecological protection and tourism development. 展开更多

This research focuses on solving the fault detection and health monitoring of high-power thyristor converter.In terms of the critical role of thyristor converter in nuclear fusion system,a method based on long short-term memory(LSTM)neural network model is proposed to monitor the operational state of the converter and accurately detect faults as they occur.By sampling and processing a large number of thyristor converter operation data,the LSTM model is trained to identify and detect abnormal state,and the power supply health status is monitored.Compared with traditional methods,LSTM model shows higher accuracy and abnormal state detection ability.The experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the reliability and safety of the thyristor converter,and provide a strong guarantee for the stable operation of the nuclear fusion reactor. 展开更多

A multi-source information fusion layer counting method for penetration fuze based on TCN-LSTM 被引量:1

When employing penetration ammunition to strike multi-story buildings,the detection methods using acceleration sensors suffer from signal aliasing,while magnetic detection methods are susceptible to interference from ferromagnetic materials,thereby posing challenges in accurately determining the number of layers.To address this issue,this research proposes a layer counting method for penetration fuze that incorporates multi-source information fusion,utilizing both the temporal convolutional network(TCN)and the long short-term memory(LSTM)recurrent network.By leveraging the strengths of these two network structures,the method extracts temporal and high-dimensional features from the multi-source physical field during the penetration process,establishing a relationship between the multi-source physical field and the distance between the fuze and the target plate.A simulation model is developed to simulate the overload and magnetic field of a projectile penetrating multiple layers of target plates,capturing the multi-source physical field signals and their patterns during the penetration process.The analysis reveals that the proposed multi-source fusion layer counting method reduces errors by 60% and 50% compared to single overload layer counting and single magnetic anomaly signal layer counting,respectively.The model's predictive performance is evaluated under various operating conditions,including different ratios of added noise to random sample positions,penetration speeds,and spacing between target plates.The maximum errors in fuze penetration time predicted by the three modes are 0.08 ms,0.12 ms,and 0.16 ms,respectively,confirming the robustness of the proposed model.Moreover,the model's predictions indicate that the fitting degree for large interlayer spacings is superior to that for small interlayer spacings due to the influence of stress waves. 展开更多

Dempster-Shafer evidence theory is broadly employed in the research of multi-source information fusion.Nevertheless,when fusing highly conflicting evidence it may pro-duce counterintuitive outcomes.To address this issue,a fusion approach based on a newly defined belief exponential diver-gence and Deng entropy is proposed.First,a belief exponential divergence is proposed as the conflict measurement between evidences.Then,the credibility of each evidence is calculated.Afterwards,the Deng entropy is used to calculate information volume to determine the uncertainty of evidence.Then,the weight of evidence is calculated by integrating the credibility and uncertainty of each evidence.Ultimately,initial evidences are amended and fused using Dempster’s rule of combination.The effectiveness of this approach in addressing the fusion of three typical conflict paradoxes is demonstrated by arithmetic exam-ples.Additionally,the proposed approach is applied to aerial tar-get recognition and iris dataset-based classification to validate its efficacy.Results indicate that the proposed approach can enhance the accuracy of target recognition and effectively address the issue of fusing conflicting evidences. 展开更多

The Dazu Rock Carvings in Chongqing were inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1999.In recent years,the Dazu Rock Carvings have faced environmental challenges such as geological forces,increased precipitation,pollution and tourism,which have led to rock deterioration and structural instability.The multi-source monitoring system for the protection of the rock carvings,based on the Internet of Things,includes Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)displacement monitoring,static level displacement monitoring,laser rangefinder displacement monitoring,roof pressure sensor monitoring and environmental damage monitoring.This paper analyses data from each sub-monitoring system within the multi-source monitoring system applied to Yuanjue Cave in the Dazu Rock Carvings.Initially,a correlation analysis between climate monitoring data and roof displacement data was carried out to assess the effect of temperature.Based on the results of the analysis,a temperature correction equation for the laser rangefinder was derived to improve the laser rangefinder displacement monitoring system.The improved system was then used to monitor Cave 168,revealing the deformation and erosion patterns of the roof.The research results demonstrate that the multiparameter monitoring system is capable of accurately measuring and analyzing the stability of the Dazu stone carvings,as well as the effects of environmental conditions on them.The use of the Internet of Things(IoT)and real-time data collection to monitor rock deformation and environmental conditions is an innovative application of technology in cultural heritage conservation.Interpretation of the monitoring system and statistical correlation analysis of temperature and laser rangefinder data highlight the thoroughness of the methodology in this paper and its relevance to sustainable mountain development.In the future,multi-source monitoring systems will have a broader application in the conservation of other UNESCO World Heritage Sites. 展开更多

Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF)is a highly dynamic and complex physical process,and single-track de-fects tend to accumulate into non-negligible internal defects of parts.The nickel-based superalloy single track was fabricated by LPBF,and its plume and spattering behavior were monitored in situ and recorded in real time based on image recognition and tracking in this study.The relationship among laser energy density,melt flow,plume and spattering behavior during LPBF was discussed.Volumetric energy density had limitations as a design parameter for LPBF.However,we found that plume and spattering behavior can be used as real-time design parameters for the processing of LPBF parts and implemented the initial velocity statistics for LPBF single-track spattering based on the centroid extraction algorithm.The influ-ence of melt flow evolution paths on the spattering and plume behavior in three different melting modes was revealed,and a shift in plume behavior was found in the overlap region of the additive substrate.This study provides a new method for obtaining statistics of spattering-related physical quantities in the melting mode,which is beneficial for the development of processing methods to mitigate the instability of the LPBF process. 展开更多

Non-contact remote sensing techniques,such as terrestrial laser scanning(TLS)and unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)photogrammetry,have been globally applied for landslide monitoring in high and steep mountainous areas.These techniques acquire terrain data and enable ground deformation monitoring.However,practical application of these technologies still faces many difficulties due to complex terrain,limited access and dense vegetation.For instance,monitoring high and steep slopes can obstruct the TLS sightline,and the accuracy of the UAV model may be compromised by absence of ground control points(GCPs).This paper proposes a TLS-and UAV-based method for monitoring landslide deformation in high mountain valleys using traditional real-time kinematics(RTK)-based control points(RCPs),low-precision TLS-based control points(TCPs)and assumed control points(ACPs)to achieve high-precision surface deformation analysis under obstructed vision and impassable conditions.The effects of GCP accuracy,GCP quantity and automatic tie point(ATP)quantity on the accuracy of UAV modeling and surface deformation analysis were comprehensively analyzed.The results show that,the proposed method allows for the monitoring accuracy of landslides to exceed the accuracy of the GCPs themselves by adding additional low-accuracy GCPs.The proposed method was implemented for monitoring the Xinhua landslide in Baoxing County,China,and was validated against data from multiple sources. 展开更多

Analyzing the service behavior of high dams and establishing early-warning systems for them have become increasingly important in ensuring their long-term service.Current analysis methods used to obtain safety monitoring data are suited only to single survey point data.Unreliable or even paradoxical results are inevitably obtained when processing large amounts of monitoring data,thereby causing difficulty in acquiring precise conclusions.Therefore,we have developed a new method based on multi-source information fusion for conducting a comprehensive analysis of prototype monitoring data of high dams.In addition,we propose the use of decision information entropy analysis for building a diagnosis and early-warning system for the long-term service of high dams.Data metrics reduction is achieved using information fusion at the data level.A Bayesian information fusion is then conducted at the decision level to obtain a comprehensive diagnosis.Early-warning outcomes can be released after sorting analysis results from multi-positions in the dam according to importance.A case study indicates that the new method can effectively handle large amounts of monitoring data from numerous survey points.It can likewise obtain precise real-time results and export comprehensive early-warning outcomes from multi-positions of high dams. 展开更多

In this paper, we put forward a remote sensing image registration method by including an improved multi-scale and multi-direction Harris algorithm and a novel compound feature. Multi-scale circle Gaussian combined invariant moments and multi-direction gray level co-occurrence matrix are extracted as features for image matching. The proposed algorithm is evaluated on numerous multi-source remote sensor images with noise and illumination changes. Extensive experimental studies prove that our proposed method is capable of receiving stable and even distribution of key points as well as obtaining robust and accurate correspondence matches. It is a promising scheme in multi-source remote sensing image registration. 展开更多

In order to improve the accuracy and consistency of data in health monitoring system,an anomaly detection algorithm for stay cables based on data fusion is proposed.The monitoring data of Nanjing No.3 Yangtze River Bridge is used as the basis of study.Firstly,an adaptive processing framework with feedback control is established based on the concept of data fusion.The data processing contains four steps:data specification,data cleaning,data conversion and data fusion.Data processing information offers feedback to the original data system,which further gives guidance for the sensor maintenance or replacement.Subsequently,the algorithm steps based on the continuous data distortion is investigated,which integrates the inspection data and the distribution test method.Finally,a group of cable force data is utilized as an example to verify the established framework and algorithm.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve high detection accuracy,providing a valuable reference for other monitoring data processing. 展开更多

This paper addresses the challenge of accurately and timely determining the position of a train,with specific consideration given to the integration of the global navigation satellite system(GNSS)and inertial navigation system(INS).To overcome the increasing errors in the INS during interruptions in GNSS signals,as well as the uncertainty associated with process and measurement noise,a deep learning-based method for train positioning is proposed.This method combines convolutional neural networks(CNN),long short-term memory(LSTM),and the invariant extended Kalman filter(IEKF)to enhance the perception of train positions.It effectively handles GNSS signal interruptions and mitigates the impact of noise.Experimental evaluation and comparisons with existing approaches are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method. 展开更多

We present a novel sea-ice classification framework based on locality preserving fusion of multi-source images information.The locality preserving fusion arises from two-fold,i.e.,the local characterization in both spatial and feature domains.We commence by simultaneously learning a projection matrix,which preserves spatial localities,and a similarity matrix,which encodes feature similarities.We map the pixels of multi-source images by the projection matrix to a set fusion vectors that preserve spatial localities of the image.On the other hand,by applying the Laplacian eigen-decomposition to the similarity matrix,we obtain another set of fusion vectors that preserve the feature local similarities.We concatenate the fusion vectors for both spatial and feature locality preservation and obtain the fusion image.Finally,we classify the fusion image pixels by a novel sliding ensemble strategy,which enhances the locality preservation in classification.Our locality preserving fusion framework is effective in classifying multi-source sea-ice images(e.g.,multi-spectral and synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images)because it not only comprehensively captures the spatial neighboring relationships but also intrinsically characterizes the feature associations between different types of sea-ices.Experimental evaluations validate the effectiveness of our framework. 展开更多

In view of the deficiency of current gas monitoring systems in coal mine roadwayexcavation, a two-level information fusion technology, which adopted the adaptiveweighted algorithm and the BP neural network technology, was applied to gas monitoring.The results show that the adaptive weighted algorithm can realize self-regulation by decreasingthe weight value of the failed sensor automatically, so as to eliminate the effect ofthe failed sensor and ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of the gas monitoring system.The BP neural network can not only effectively predict the gas gush quantity of the excavationroadway, but also accurately calculate the gas concentration in the region whereone or more sensors have failed, so as to provide the basis for judging the safety status ofthe roadway excavation.The experiments prove the superiority and feasibility of the applicationof information fusion in gas monitoring. 展开更多

In cabin-type component alignment, digital measurement technology is usually adopted to provide guidance for assembly. Depending on the system of measurement, the alignment process can be divided into measurement-assisted assembly(MAA) and force-driven assembly. In MAA,relative pose between components is directly measured to guide assembly, while in force-driven assembly, only contact state can be recognized according to measured six-dimensional force and torque(6 D F/T) and the process is completed based on preset assembly strategy. Aiming to improve the efficiency of force-driven cabin-type component alignment, this paper proposed a heuristic alignment method based on multi-source data fusion. In this method, measured 6 D F/T, pose data and geometric information of components are fused to calculate the relative pose between components and guide the movement of pose adjustment platform. Among these data types, pose data and measured 6 D F/T are combined as data set. To collect the data sets needed for data fusion, dynamic gravity compensation method and hybrid motion control method are designed. Then the relative pose calculation method is elaborated, which transforms collected data sets into discrete geometric elements and calculates the relative poses based on the geometric information of components.Finally, experiments are conducted in simulation environment and the results show that the proposed alignment method is feasible and effective. 展开更多

Accurate multi-source fusion is based on the reliability, quantity, and fusion mode of the sources. The problem of selecting the optimal set for participating in the fusion process is nondeterministic-polynomial-time-hard and is neither sub-modular nor super-modular. Furthermore, in the case of the Kalman filter(KF) fusion algorithm, accurate statistical characteristics of noise are difficult to obtain, and this leads to an unsatisfactory fusion result. To settle the referred cases, a distributed and adaptive weighted fusion algorithm based on KF has been proposed in this paper. In this method, on the basis of the pseudo prior probability of the estimated state of each source, the reliability of the sources is evaluated and the optimal set is selected on a certain threshold. Experiments were performed on multi-source pedestrian dead reckoning for verifying the proposed algorithm. The results obtained from these experiments indicate that the optimal set can be selected accurately with minimal computation, and the fusion error is reduced by 16.6% as compared to the corresponding value resulting from the algorithm without improvements.The proposed adaptive source reliability and fusion weight evaluation is effective against the varied-noise multi-source fusion system, and the fusion error caused by inaccurate statistical characteristics of the noise is reduced by the adaptive weight evaluation.The proposed algorithm exhibits good robustness, adaptability,and value on applications. 展开更多

A group of BPNN models are designed. The output of multiple BPNN model is fused by the CFI. Meanwhile, to resolve the over-fitting problem caused by a small number of training sets, we design an algorithm that fully considers neighbor sampling information. A classification experiment of the Chl-a concentration of the Taihu Lake is conducted. The result shows that, the proposed approach is superior to the classification using a single neural network classifier, and the CFI fusion method has higher identification accuracy. 展开更多

In this research, a near infrared multi-wavelength noninvasive blood glucose monitoring system with distributed laser multi-sensors is applied to monitor human blood glucose concentration. In order to improve the monitoring accuracy, a multi-sensors information fusion model based on Back Propagation Artificial Neural Network is proposed. The Root- Mean-Square Error of Prediction for noninvasive blood glucose measurement is 0.088mmol/L, and the correlation coefficient is 0.94. The noninvasive blood glucose monitoring system based on distributed multi-sensors information fusion of multi-wavelength NIR is proved to be of great efficient. And the new proposed idea of measurement based on distri- buted multi-sensors, shows better prediction accuracy. 展开更多
