This paper presents a comprehensive framework that enables communication scene recognition through deep learning and multi-sensor fusion.This study aims to address the challenge of current communication scene recognit...This paper presents a comprehensive framework that enables communication scene recognition through deep learning and multi-sensor fusion.This study aims to address the challenge of current communication scene recognition methods that struggle to adapt in dynamic environments,as they typically rely on post-response mechanisms that fail to detect scene changes before users experience latency.The proposed framework leverages data from multiple smartphone sensors,including acceleration sensors,gyroscopes,magnetic field sensors,and orientation sensors,to identify different communication scenes,such as walking,running,cycling,and various modes of transportation.Extensive experimental comparative analysis with existing methods on the open-source SHL-2018 dataset confirmed the superior performance of our approach in terms of F1 score and processing speed.Additionally,tests using a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet and a self-collected Beijing-2023 dataset have validated the framework's efficiency and generalization capability.The results show that our framework achieved an F1 score of 95.15%on SHL-2018and 94.6%on Beijing-2023,highlighting its robustness across different datasets and conditions.Furthermore,the levels of computational complexity and power consumption associated with the algorithm are moderate,making it suitable for deployment on mobile devices.展开更多

In this paper, we design a semantic communications approach based on multi-user semantic fusion for wireless image transmission over DBC. The transmitter extracts semantic features for two users separately and then effectively fuses them for broadcasting by leveraging semantic similarity. Unlike traditional allocation of time, power, or bandwidth, the semantic fusion scheme can dynamically control the weight of the semantic features of the two users to balance their performance. Considering the different channel state information(CSI) of both users over DBC,a DBC-Aware method is developed that embeds the CSI of both users into the joint source-channel coding encoder and fusion module to adapt to the channel.Experimental results show that the proposed system outperforms the traditional broadcasting schemes.展开更多

Individuals exchange information,experience and strategy based on communication.Communication is the basis for individuals to form swarms and the bridge of swarms to realize cooperative control.In this paper,the multi...Individuals exchange information,experience and strategy based on communication.Communication is the basis for individuals to form swarms and the bridge of swarms to realize cooperative control.In this paper,the multirobot swarm and its cooperative control and communication methods are reviewed,and we summarize these methods from the task,control,and perception levels.Based on the research,the cooperative control and communication methods of intelligent swarms are divided into the following four categories:task assignment based methods(divided into market-based methods and alliance based methods),bio-inspired methods(divided into biochemical information inspired methods,vision based methods and self-organization based methods),distributed sensor fusion and reinforcement learning based methods,and we briefly define each method and introduce its basic ideas.Based on WOS database,we divide the development of each method into several stages according to the time distribution of the literature,and outline the main research content of each stage.Finally,we discuss the communication problems of intelligent swarms and the key issues,challenges and future work of each method.展开更多
Target signal acquisition and detection based on sonar images is a challenging task due to the complex underwater environment.In order to solve the problem that some semantic information in sonar images is lost and mo...Target signal acquisition and detection based on sonar images is a challenging task due to the complex underwater environment.In order to solve the problem that some semantic information in sonar images is lost and model detection performance is degraded due to the complex imaging environment,we proposed a more effective and robust target detection framework based on deep learning,which can make full use of the acoustic shadow information in the forward-looking sonar images to assist underwater target detection.Firstly,the weighted box fusion method is adopted to generate a fusion box by weighted fusion of prediction boxes with high confidence,so as to obtain accurate acoustic shadow boxes.Further,the acoustic shadow box is cut down to get the feature map containing the acoustic shadow information,and then the acoustic shadow feature map and the target information feature map are adaptively fused to make full use of the acoustic shadow feature information.In addition,we introduce a threshold processing module to improve the attention of the model to important feature information.Through the underwater sonar dataset provided by Pengcheng Laboratory,the proposed method improved the average accuracy by 3.14%at the IoU threshold of 0.7,which is better than the current traditional target detection model.展开更多

NaGlobal vigation Satellite System(GNSS)positioning technology is widely used for its high precision,global,and all-weather service.However,in complex environments such as urban canyons,GNSS performance is often degra...NaGlobal vigation Satellite System(GNSS)positioning technology is widely used for its high precision,global,and all-weather service.However,in complex environments such as urban canyons,GNSS performance is often degraded due to signal occlusion and even fails to achieve positioning due to the insufficient visible satellites.Because of the characteristics of large band-width,low latency,and high Base Station(BS)density,the fifth-Generation mobile communication(5G)technology has gradually become a trend for positioning in cities while offering traditional communication service.To supply the communication demands of the User Equipment(UE),only one BS is usually considered to establish a connection with the UE during the BS construction.However,the positioning accuracy with a single BS in urban canyons will be significantly reduced.To further improve the positioning accuracy in such extreme scenarios,this paper proposes a simplified 5G/GNSS fusion positioning system architecture using observations from only a 5G BS and a GNSS satellite.In this system,the GNSS receiver is mounted on the 5G BS,and the measurements provided by the receiver are used to form the differential code and complete the position estimation.The positioning mathematical models of the system based on the original code and differential code are derived.Then,the impacts of the measurements noise and the time synchronization error on the positioning accuracy are analyzed theoretically.Finally,the positioning performance is investigated by a set of simulation experiments.Numerical results show that under the existing 5G measurement noise and 2 m’s code measurement noise,the improvement of the differential code based fusion positioning compared with the 5G-only positioning is more than 32%,which is also about 6%higher than the original code based fusion positioning.Besides,this improvement is not affected by the time synchronization error between the BS and the GNSS satellite.展开更多

Finally, several numerical experiments demonstrate that our method has a much lower data storage and calculation cost as well as high quality of reconstruction when compared with other existing schemes. When the local estimates are not lost too much, the authors propose an optimal distributed fusion algorithm which is equivalent to the corresponding centralized Kalman filtering fusion with complete communications even if the process noise does exist. When this condition is not satisfied, based on the above global optimality result and sensor data compression, the authors propose a suboptimal distributed fusion algorithm. Numerical examples show that this suboptimal algorithm still works well and significantly better than the standard distributed Kalman filtering fusion subject to packet loss even if the process noise power is quite large.展开更多

文摘The multisensor network decision/detection problem continue to attract much research interest in recent years since such system offers many advantages over that with a single sensor in terms of e.g., survivability, reliability, and robustness. This article surveys some previous progress, briefly presents a few new results, and proposes some challenging issues in communication direction of sensor network decision fusion.
