Analysis and Countermeasures of Nursing Problems in the Placement of PICC Guided by Endocardial Electrocardiogram Positioning Technology

This study aimed to explore an effective nursing plan for peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC)placement guided by endocardial electrocardiogram(ECG)positioning technology and to analyze related nursing problems and countermeasures.A total of 96 patients who underwent PICC placement using ECG-guided positioning technology in our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into an experimental group(n=48)and a control group(n=48)using a random number table.The control group received routine basic nursing care,while the experimental group was provided with comprehensive high-quality nursing care.The results showed that the success rate of one-time catheter placement was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.05),while the incidence of complications was notably lower in the experimental group(P<0.05).These findings suggest that comprehensive high-quality nursing care during PICC placement guided by ECG positioning technology can effectively enhance the success rate of catheter placement and reduce complications,indicating that this nursing approach is valuable for clinical promotion and application. 展开更多

Minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis for distal radius fractures using a 3-point positioning technique

BACKGROUND The volar approach with plate fixation is the gold standard for treating distal radius fractures,often requiring incision of the pronator quadratus(PQ)muscle.Preserving the PQ during surgery may facilitate early postoperative recovery.However,conventional minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis(MIPO)techniques frequently necessitate multiple(3-4)intraoperative fluoroscopic adjustments to achieve optimal plate positioning,which can inadvertently damage the PQ muscle.Based on our clinical observations,we developed a novel 3-point positioning technique to minimize PQ injury while ensuring accurate plate placement.Preliminary results demonstrate promising early clinical outcomes.AIM To retrospectively analyze distal radius fractures treated using the 3-point positioning-assisted MIPO technique with preservation of the PQ.METHODS The 3-point positioning technique was applied:The Kirschner wire was inserted after fluoroscopy and was correctly adjusted the position of the plate above the PQ.With the aid of Kirschner wires positioning the PQ stripping was performed only once,and the plate then placed in a correct and satisfactory position.Operation time,incision length,wrist pain score,upper extremity function disabilities of the arm,shoulder and hand(DASH)score,wrist Gartland-Werley score,wrist grip strength,and range of motion were among the quantitative variables recorded.Qualitative variables including AO fracture classification,intraoperative and postoperative complications were evaluated.RESULTS At a mean follow-up of 6.9±0.8 months,the mean scar length was 25.4±1.5 mm,the pain score was 0.7±0.6,the DASH score for the upper limb was 4.7±1.3,and the Gartland-Werley score for wrist function was 4.1±1.1 at the last follow-up.Mean flexion was 97.3%,extension was 97.0%,pronation was 98.9%,supination was 98.9%,and grip strength was 86.6%compared to contralateral values.No unfavorable intraoperative or postoperative complications occurred.CONCLUSION The 3-point positioning technique may reduce the damage to the PQ muscle and is a safe and effective method for MIPO for distal radius fractures. 展开更多

An Extrinsic Fabry-Perot Interferometric (EFPI) fiber optical sensor system is an online testing system for the gas density. The system achieves the measurement of gas density information mainly by demodulating the cavity length of EF- PI fiber optical sensor. There are many ways to achieve the demodulation of the cavity length. For shortcomings of the big intensity demodulation error and complex structure of phase demodulation, this paper proposes that BP neural net-work is used to locate the special peak points in normalized interference spectrum and combining the advantages of the unimodal and bimodal measurement achieves the demodulation of the cavity length. Through online simulation and actual measurement, the results show that the peak positioning technology based on BP neural network can not only achieve high-precision demodulation of the cavity length, but also achieve an absolute measurement of cavity length in large dynamic range. 展开更多

With the development of urbanization,the problem of neurological diseases brought about by population aging has gradually become a social problem of worldwide concern.Aging leads to gradual degeneration of the central nervous system,shrinkage of brain tissue,and decline in physical function in many elderlies,making them susceptible to neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease(AD),stroke,Parkinson’s and major depressive disorder(MDD).Due to the influence of these neurological diseases,the elderly have troubles such as memory loss,inability to move,falling,and getting lost,which seriously affect their quality of life.Tracking and positioning of elderly with neurological diseases and keeping track of their location in real-time are necessary and crucial in order to detect and treat dangerous and unexpected situations in time.Considering that the elderly with neurological diseases forget to wear a positioning device or have mobility problems due to carrying a positioning device,device-free positioning as a passive positioning technology that detects device-free individuals is more suitable than traditional active positioning for the home-based care of the elderly with neurological diseases.This paper provides an extensive and in-depth survey of device-free indoor positioning technology for home-based care and an in-depth analysis of the main features of current positioning systems,as well as the techniques,technologies andmethods they employ,fromthe perspective of the needs of the elderly with neurological conditions.Moreover,evaluation criteria and possible solutions of positioning techniques for the home-based care of the elderly with neurological conditions are proposed.Finally,the opportunities and challenges for the development of indoor positioning technology in 6G mobile networks for home-based care of the elderly with neurological diseases are discussed.This review has provided comprehensive and effective tracking and positioning techniques,technologies and methods for the elderly,by which we can obtain the location information of the elderly in real-time and make home-based care more comfortable and safer for the elderly with neurological diseases. 展开更多

The author does not agree with Joseph Needham’s view:“There can be little doubt that on the whole its action was powerfully inhibitory”, and the author thinks Buddhism took a positive promotion and influence on the development of science and technology in ancient China as a whole. There were four main ways of Chinese Buddhism influence on ancient science and technology:(1) The Buddhist scriptures actually contain a wealth of knowledge of science and technology;the eminent Buddhist monks introduced them into China through translation, therefore enriched contents of science and technology in ancient China.(2) Some knowledge of science and technology in ancient Indian and other districts got into China along with the spread of Buddhism.(3) Ancient Chinese Buddhists took part in science and technology practice actively at that time, and they had got a series of achievements in science and technology.(4) Being inspired and affected by Buddhist scientific knowledge, those non-Buddhist scientists had engaged in many created work in a further step, and made much contributions to development of science and technology. The doctrine of Buddhism was not a complete hindrance to the development of science and technology, and the result turned out contrary in many respects that it had promoted development of science and technology. Vehicle Positioning Method Based on RFID in Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks

With the rapid development of vehicular ad hoc network( VANET) technology,VANET applications such as safe driving and emergency rescue demand high position accuracy,but traditional GPS is difficult to meet new accuracy requirements. To overcome this limitation,a new vehicle positioning method based on radio frequency identification( RFID) is proposed. First RFID base stations are divided into three categories using fuzzy technology,and then Chan algorithm is used to calculate three vehicles' positions,which are weighed to acquire vehicles' accurate position. This method can effectively overcome the problem that vehicle positioning accuracy is not high resulting from the factors such as ambient noise and base distribution when Chan algorithm is used. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed method is superior to Chan algorithm and 2-step algorithm based on averaging method,which can satisfy the requirements of vehicle positioning in VANETs. 展开更多

Handover location technology was employed for collecting road traffic information in a number of field projects, and the project results demonstrate that it is a supplementary and promising means of road traffic information collection for further traffic supervision and maintenance. Because handover location technology is one kind of pattern matching based location technologies, offiine handovex location positioning is an essential problem to be studied for successfully matching mobile probes on GIS map. Offline handover location positioning method involves two stages, handover location positioning respectively via two weighted models and an optimized model based on the intermediate results obtained in the first stage. A preliminary field test is conducted on a stretch of freeway in the inner suburban region in Beijing, and performance evaluation results show that the proposed method is superior to standard least square model in location accuracy and location precision, which is an effective method of offline handover location positioning. 展开更多

固体充填开采技术已日臻成熟,但存在自主作业程度低、自适调控能力不足等瓶颈,智能化水平偏低,影响其应用效果与推广范围。煤矿大型装备机器人化是行业发展必然趋势,煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人的研究及其关键技术的突破势在必行。定义... 固体充填开采技术已日臻成熟,但存在自主作业程度低、自适调控能力不足等瓶颈,智能化水平偏低,影响其应用效果与推广范围。煤矿大型装备机器人化是行业发展必然趋势,煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人的研究及其关键技术的突破势在必行。定义了煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人的概念并设计了其系统构成,揭示了其工序自驱作业机制与运行逻辑;构建了煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人全工况状态感知、运动学建模与控制方法;构建了全类别参数指标集,形成了全类别参数感知方法;对全工况场景类别进行了划分,建立了位姿精确表征与实时输出方法;形成了全工况场景运行状态判别与机械臂组自调控方法;构建了煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人虚拟样机仿真试验平台,设置了“俯采仰充”“水平采充”“仰采俯充”3种工况进行工序自驱仿真,仿真测试结果表明:充填支护机器人可精准判别干涉并解算出调控目标参数,系统整体运行及工序自驱执行等智能功能得到验证。针对煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人研发面临的关键科学问题,初步构建了煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人及其关键技术的研究框架、研发思路与技术路线,为深度升级充填开采技术、研发我国完全独立自主知识产权的煤矿固体智能充填支护机器人装备产品提供理论及技术支撑。 展开更多

合作研发网络是企业获取异质性知识的有效渠道,占据关键网络位置能为企业带来信息优势和控制优势。然而,现有文献关于网络位置跃迁与企业创新之间的关系暂未得出一致性结论。本文聚焦全球生物技术领域,以1995—2016年的264家企业为样本... 合作研发网络是企业获取异质性知识的有效渠道,占据关键网络位置能为企业带来信息优势和控制优势。然而,现有文献关于网络位置跃迁与企业创新之间的关系暂未得出一致性结论。本文聚焦全球生物技术领域,以1995—2016年的264家企业为样本,实证分析合作研发网络中心位置跃迁和中介位置跃迁对突破性技术创新的影响,并考察企业知识基础深度与知识基础宽度所发挥的调节作用。结果表明,中心位置跃迁有助于突破性技术创新,中介位置跃迁与突破性技术创新呈U型关系;知识基础宽度正向调节中心位置跃迁与突破性技术创新之间的积极关系,但对中介位置跃迁与突破性技术创新关系的调节效应不显著;知识基础深度负向调节中心位置跃迁对突破性技术创新的积极作用,正向调节中介位置跃迁与突破性技术创新之间的U型关系。研究结论对理解网络位置跃迁与企业技术创新之间的复杂关系具有重要意义。 展开更多
