In this paper,a distributed adaptive dynamic programming(ADP)framework based on value iteration is proposed for multi-player differential games.In the game setting,players have no access to the information of others...In this paper,a distributed adaptive dynamic programming(ADP)framework based on value iteration is proposed for multi-player differential games.In the game setting,players have no access to the information of others'system parameters or control laws.Each player adopts an on-policy value iteration algorithm as the basic learning framework.To deal with the incomplete information structure,players collect a period of system trajectory data to compensate for the lack of information.The policy updating step is implemented by a nonlinear optimization problem aiming to search for the proximal admissible policy.Theoretical analysis shows that by adopting proximal policy searching rules,the approximated policies can converge to a neighborhood of equilibrium policies.The efficacy of our method is illustrated by three examples,which also demonstrate that the proposed method can accelerate the learning process compared with the centralized learning framework.展开更多

Background Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a pervasive developmental disorder characterized by difficulties in social communication and restricted,repetitive behaviors.Early intervention is essential to improve develo...Background Autism spectrum disorder(ASD)is a pervasive developmental disorder characterized by difficulties in social communication and restricted,repetitive behaviors.Early intervention is essential to improve developmental outcomes in children with ASD.Serious games,which combine educational objectives with game based interactions,have shown potential as tools for early intervention in patients with ASD.However,in China,the development of serious games specifically designed for children with ASD remains in its infancy,with significant gaps in technical frameworks and effective data management methods.Method This paper proposes a framework aimed at facilitating the development of multimodal serious games designed for ASD interventions.We demonstrated the feasibility of the framework by developing and integrating several components,such as web applications,mobile games,and augmented reality games.These tools are interconnected to achieve data connectivity and management.Additionally,adaptive mechanics were employed within the framework to analyze real-time player data,which allowed the game difficulty to be dynamically adjusted and provide a personalized experience for each child.Results The framework successfully integrated various multimodal games,ensuring that real-time data management supported personalized game experiences.This approach ensured that the interventions remained appropriately challenging while still achievable.Conclusion The results indicate that the proposed framework enhances collaboration among therapists,parents,and developers while also improving the effectiveness of ASD interventions.By delivering personalized gameplay experiences that are both challenging and achievable,the framework offers a scalable platform for the future development of serious games.展开更多

The concept of equivalence,which expresses the relations between the source text and the target text in the translation process,can be defined as finding the closest equivalent of the source text in the target text.In...The concept of equivalence,which expresses the relations between the source text and the target text in the translation process,can be defined as finding the closest equivalent of the source text in the target text.In order for the translated text to have the same taste in the target language,the equivalence between the two languages should be good.Many novels have been translated from English to Arabic.This translation was translated from English to Arabic.Jane Eyre is in the Victorian England.The novel is about love between two people of different classes,underlining the pressures,class distinction,male domination in society.Jane Eyre,who was one of the first novels about women’s freedom and rights,is also one of the most important works of romanticism.The author was inspired by his own life.In this study,language plays in Arabic translation of famous novelist Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre were examined in terms of equivalence.In addition to semantic,syntactic,linguistic,and stylistic dimensions,translation of language games such as proverb,idiom,metaphor,personification,and comparison,which are the main material of a decorated language,is emphasized and their equivalence is interpreted in the light of the theories of translation.The analysis of the selected sample sentences from the novel within the context of translation criticism shows that the translator preserves the form and content of the source text in a significant way and provides a translation equivalent to the original in terms of linguistic,syntactic,and semantic.The Arabic reader seems to be able to understand the language games in English in a similar way in their own language.展开更多
This paper proposes a mixed game with finitely many leaders and follower populations.In such a game,two types of equilibria are defined.First,a Nash equilibrium is introduced for the scenario in which leaders and foll...This paper proposes a mixed game with finitely many leaders and follower populations.In such a game,two types of equilibria are defined.First,a Nash equilibrium is introduced for the scenario in which leaders and follower populations are in perfect competition,each maximizing its own payoff.Second,a cooperative equilibrium is proposed for the case where leaders and follower populations,respectively,form coalitions and cooperate.Moreover,the existence of both Nash and cooperative equilibria is proved under the condition that the payoff functions are continuous and quasi-concave.Finally,we demonstrate the generic stability of cooperative equilibria in mixed games.More concretely,in the sense of Baire category,the cooperative equilibria in most mixed games are stable under perturbations of the payoff functions.In short,this paper presents two main contributions.On the one hand,we provide a novel mixed-game framework,which differs from both classical leader-follower games and leader-follower population games.On the other hand,the Nash and cooperative equilibria in our mixed games are distinct from those in existing leader-follower population games.The results are further illustrated with examples.展开更多
We study the influence of conformity on the evolution of cooperative behavior in games under the learning method of sampling on networks.A strategy update rule based on sampling is introduced into the stag hunt game,w...We study the influence of conformity on the evolution of cooperative behavior in games under the learning method of sampling on networks.A strategy update rule based on sampling is introduced into the stag hunt game,where agents draw samples from their neighbors and then update their strategies based on conformity or inference according to the situation in the sample.Based on these assumptions,we present the state transition equations in the dynamic evolution of population cooperation,conduct simulation analysis on lattice networks and scale-free networks,and discuss how this mechanism affects the evolution of cooperation and how cooperation evolves under different levels of conformity in the network.Our simulation results show that blindly imitating the strategies of neighbors does not necessarily lead to rapid consensus in the population.Instead,rational inference through samples can better promote the evolution of the same strategy among all agents in the population.Moreover,the simulation results also show that a smaller sample size cannot reflect the true situation of the neighbors,which has a large randomness,and the size of the benefits obtained in cooperation determines the direction of the entire population towards cooperation or defection.This work incorporates the conforming behavior of agents into the game,uses the method of sampling for strategy updates and enriches the theory of evolutionary games with a more realistic significance.展开更多

Potential games(PG)have attracted the attention of many researchers because of its excellent properties and multi-PG are more flexible and extensible,which greatly improve the application range of PG.Consider that wei...Potential games(PG)have attracted the attention of many researchers because of its excellent properties and multi-PG are more flexible and extensible,which greatly improve the application range of PG.Consider that weights and states to each player are common and practical in many application scenarios,and in this paper,by introducing weight value and state into multi-PG,q-weighted PG and q-state PG are systematically discussed and analyzed to expand the types of PG,respectively.First,using semi-tensor product of matrices(STP),a matrix approach to the modeling of weighted PG is investigated,and the verification method of weighted PG is proposed by defining three matrices,and the problem of how to detect weighted PG can be transformed to solve an algebraic equation,which is composed of the above three matrices.Next,by bringing weight values into multi-PG and detecting the weighted PG for each group,the verification method is extended to the q-weighted PG.Second,the model of state-based PG is constructed,and the problem of how to detect state-based PG can be transformed to solve another algebraic equation,which is seen as an extension of the verification method of weighted PG.Subsequently,the verification of q-state PG is discussed.Finally,we use two examples to demonstrate the validation of obtained results.展开更多

文摘The concept of equivalence,which expresses the relations between the source text and the target text in the translation process,can be defined as finding the closest equivalent of the source text in the target text.In order for the translated text to have the same taste in the target language,the equivalence between the two languages should be good.Many novels have been translated from English to Arabic.This translation was translated from English to Arabic.Jane Eyre is in the Victorian England.The novel is about love between two people of different classes,underlining the pressures,class distinction,male domination in society.Jane Eyre,who was one of the first novels about women’s freedom and rights,is also one of the most important works of romanticism.The author was inspired by his own life.In this study,language plays in Arabic translation of famous novelist Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre were examined in terms of equivalence.In addition to semantic,syntactic,linguistic,and stylistic dimensions,translation of language games such as proverb,idiom,metaphor,personification,and comparison,which are the main material of a decorated language,is emphasized and their equivalence is interpreted in the light of the theories of translation.The analysis of the selected sample sentences from the novel within the context of translation criticism shows that the translator preserves the form and content of the source text in a significant way and provides a translation equivalent to the original in terms of linguistic,syntactic,and semantic.The Arabic reader seems to be able to understand the language games in English in a similar way in their own language.

文摘This paper proposes a mixed game with finitely many leaders and follower populations.In such a game,two types of equilibria are defined.First,a Nash equilibrium is introduced for the scenario in which leaders and follower populations are in perfect competition,each maximizing its own payoff.Second,a cooperative equilibrium is proposed for the case where leaders and follower populations,respectively,form coalitions and cooperate.Moreover,the existence of both Nash and cooperative equilibria is proved under the condition that the payoff functions are continuous and quasi-concave.Finally,we demonstrate the generic stability of cooperative equilibria in mixed games.More concretely,in the sense of Baire category,the cooperative equilibria in most mixed games are stable under perturbations of the payoff functions.In short,this paper presents two main contributions.On the one hand,we provide a novel mixed-game framework,which differs from both classical leader-follower games and leader-follower population games.On the other hand,the Nash and cooperative equilibria in our mixed games are distinct from those in existing leader-follower population games.The results are further illustrated with examples.

文摘We study the influence of conformity on the evolution of cooperative behavior in games under the learning method of sampling on networks.A strategy update rule based on sampling is introduced into the stag hunt game,where agents draw samples from their neighbors and then update their strategies based on conformity or inference according to the situation in the sample.Based on these assumptions,we present the state transition equations in the dynamic evolution of population cooperation,conduct simulation analysis on lattice networks and scale-free networks,and discuss how this mechanism affects the evolution of cooperation and how cooperation evolves under different levels of conformity in the network.Our simulation results show that blindly imitating the strategies of neighbors does not necessarily lead to rapid consensus in the population.Instead,rational inference through samples can better promote the evolution of the same strategy among all agents in the population.Moreover,the simulation results also show that a smaller sample size cannot reflect the true situation of the neighbors,which has a large randomness,and the size of the benefits obtained in cooperation determines the direction of the entire population towards cooperation or defection.This work incorporates the conforming behavior of agents into the game,uses the method of sampling for strategy updates and enriches the theory of evolutionary games with a more realistic significance.

文摘Game theory-based models and design tools have gained substantial prominence for controlling and optimizing behavior within distributed engineering systems due to the inherent distribution of decisions among individuals.In non-cooperative settings,aggregative games serve as a mathematical framework model for the interdependent optimal decision-making problem among a group of non-cooperative players.In such scenarios,each player's decision is influenced by an aggregation of all players'decisions.Nash equilibrium(NE)seeking in aggregative games has emerged as a vibrant topic driven by applications that harness the aggregation property.This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the current research on aggregative games with a focus on communication topology.A systematic classification is conducted on distributed algorithm research based on communication topologies such as undirected networks,directed networks,and time-varying networks.Furthermore,it sorts out the challenges and compares the algorithms'convergence performance.It also delves into real-world applications of distributed optimization techniques grounded in aggregative games.Finally,it proposes several challenges that can guide future research directions.

文摘This study introduces a novel bargaining solution termed the"'min-distance bargaining solution"and applies it to a differential games model.A comprehensive algorithm for implementing this new solution is presented,considering its time consistency within the differential games framework.Realistic scenarios are carefully analyzed to derive insightful findings regarding the mindistance solution,which are further validated through simulations using the resource extraction differential games model.Specifically,we examine scenarios such as managing a finite resource stock in the resource extraction game.Furthermore,a comparative analysis is conducted,pitting the mindistance bargaining solution against well-established alternatives such as Nash bargaining,Kalai-Smorodinsky,and Egalitarian solutions.By subjecting these solutions to numerical evaluations,the study offers valuable insights into decision-making processes.The findings not only contribute to negotiation theory by providing theoretical support but also have practical implications for decision-makers seeking effective strategies.This research significantly advances the field of negotiation theory,particularly in the context of differential games.The proposed min-distance bargaining solution demonstrates its applicability to real-world scenarios and enhances our understanding of strategic decision-making.

文摘Potential games(PG)have attracted the attention of many researchers because of its excellent properties and multi-PG are more flexible and extensible,which greatly improve the application range of PG.Consider that weights and states to each player are common and practical in many application scenarios,and in this paper,by introducing weight value and state into multi-PG,q-weighted PG and q-state PG are systematically discussed and analyzed to expand the types of PG,respectively.First,using semi-tensor product of matrices(STP),a matrix approach to the modeling of weighted PG is investigated,and the verification method of weighted PG is proposed by defining three matrices,and the problem of how to detect weighted PG can be transformed to solve an algebraic equation,which is composed of the above three matrices.Next,by bringing weight values into multi-PG and detecting the weighted PG for each group,the verification method is extended to the q-weighted PG.Second,the model of state-based PG is constructed,and the problem of how to detect state-based PG can be transformed to solve another algebraic equation,which is seen as an extension of the verification method of weighted PG.Subsequently,the verification of q-state PG is discussed.Finally,we use two examples to demonstrate the validation of obtained results.
