It essentially involves subdivision of the analyzed domain into sub-regions being independently modeled by two methods, i.e., the finite element method (FEM) and the boundary element method (BEM). The original problem was restored with continuity and equilibrium conditions being satisfied on the interface of the two sub-regions using an iterative algorithm. To speed up the convergence rate of the iterative algorithm, a dynamically changing relaxation parameter during iteration was introduced. Therefore, transient analysis is necessary. In this study, dam-reservoir interaction during earthquake excitation was modeled by utilizing coupled finite element equations based on the Eulerian approach. Direct computing of the one-way coupling technique was used to solve the coupled equations. This technique is based on a simple assumption that the fluid hydrodynamic pressure is applied to the dam body while the deformation of the dam has no influence on the water field. Seismic response analysis of the Sonla concrete gravity dam constructed in Sonla Province, Vietnam was carried out as a verification example. The results of the methodology introduced are in close agreement with results of the iterative method and the solution procedure is found to be less time-consuming than that of the iterative method. This method is very convenient and can be easily implemented in finite element programs with fluid-structure interaction modules.展开更多

With the development of aircraft hydraulic system to high pressure, high speed and high power ratio, the fluid-structure interaction vibration mechanism of hydraulic pipeline is more complex and the influence of friction coupling on vibration cannot be ignored. The fluid-structure interaction of hydraulic pipeline will lead to system vibration, lower reliability of system operation and even pipeline rupture. Taking a hydraulic pipeline of C919 aircraft wingtip as the research object,a 14-equation model of fluid-structure interaction vibration considering friction coupling effect is established in this paper. The effects of friction and fluid parameters on the pipeline fluid-structure interaction vibration characteristics are studied and verified by experiments. The research results will provide theoretical guidance for the analysis of the pipeline fluid-structure interaction vibration and have important theoretical significance and great engineering value for promoting the localization process of large aircraft.展开更多

This method is very convenient and can be easily implemented in finite element programs with fluid-structure interaction modules.

文摘This paper focuses on eliminating the unphysical negative susceptibility which ap- pears when magnetic field is at unsaturated excitation level and reduces from extremity of the hysteresis loop in one-dimension coupled hysteresis model. The domain flexing function c (H) is used to replace the domain flexing constant c in one-dimension coupled hysteresis model. The fea- sibility and rationality of proposed modification are convinced by comparing the magnetization and magnetostriction curves with experimental data and another typical modification results. The effects of pre-stress and temperature on magnetic-elastic-thermal coupling property and hysteresis behavior are investigated.

文摘Based on the Lord and Shulman generalized thermoelasticity theory with one relaxation time, an isotropic semi-infinite plate subjected to a moving heat source has been studied by employing the finite element method directly in time domain, whose distributions of nora dimensional temperature, displacement and stress are illustrated graphically. The results show that the present method is an effective and exact numerical one for solving the thermoelastic coupling problem and is capable of overcoming the defects of traditional integrated transformation and inverse integrated transformation methods. At the same time, the temperature step of the thermal wave front is obtained exactly in contrast with conventional numerical transformation methods.

文摘As the power transmission system of an aircraft,a hydraulic pipeline system is equivalent to the " blood vessel" of the aircraft. The research results will provide theoretical guidance for the analysis of the pipeline fluid-structure interaction vibration and have important theoretical significance and great engineering value for promoting the localization process of large aircraft.
文摘The electrical performance of radomes on high-speed aircraft can be influenced by the thermal and mechanical loads produced during high-speed flight, which can affect the detection dis-tance and accuracy of the guidance system. This paper presents a new method that uses the Finite Difference Time Domain(FDTD)method to calculate the electrical performance of radomes under Thermo-Mechanical-Electrical(TME)coupling.This method can accurately characterize the effects of material dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation on the electrical performance of the radome under flight conditions, enabling high-precision full-wave calculations of the broadband electrical performance of the radome. The method initiates by utilizing a Finite Element Grid Model(FE-GM)of the radome to sequentially acquire the radome's response temperature field and structural deformation field through thermal and mechanical simulations.Subsequently, spatial mapping techniques are developed to accurately incorporate the dielectric temperature drift and structural deformation of the radome into its Yee grid Electromagnetic(EM)simulation model.A verification case was designed to test the proposed method, and the results confirmed its high computational accuracy.Additionally, the effectiveness and necessity of the method were further demonstrated by analyzing the electrical performance of a fused silica ceramic radome used on a high-speed aircraft.
文摘In this paper, modifications to the finite-difference time-domain(FD-TD) method for modeling microwave pulse coupling into a slot, which is much narrower than one conventional FD-TD cell, are discussed. The coupling process of microwave pulse into a slot is studied by using the modified FD-TD method, and the dependence of microwave coupling on slot sizes, the carrier frequencies and the polarization directions of the incident waves is analysed. Resonant and enhancement effects which occur in this process are observed. The condition at which the resonant effect takes place is also presented.
