This paper studies the application of mathematical models to analyze the vortex-induced vibrations of the tendons of a given TLP along the Indian coastline, by using an analytical approach, using MATLAB. The tendon is subjected to a steady current load, which causes vortex-shedding downstream, leading to cross-flow vibrations. The magnitude of the excitation(lift and drag coefficients) depends on the vortex-shedding frequency. The resulting vibration is studied for possible resonant behavior. The excitation force is quantified empirically, the added mass by potential flow hydrodynamics, and the vibration by normal mode summation method. Non-linear viscous damping of the water is considered. The non-linear oscillations are studied by the phase-plane method, investigating the limit-cycle oscillations. The stable/unstable regions of the dynamic behavior are demarcated. The modal contribution to the total deflection is studied to establish the possibility of resonance of one of the wet modes with the vortex-shedding frequency. 展开更多

This paper addresses the development and testing of a remotely controlled boat platform with an innovative air-ventilated hull. The application of air cavities on the underside of ship hulls is a promising means for reducing hydrodynamic drag and pollutant emissions and increasing marine transportation efficiency. Despite this concept's potential, design optimization and high-performance operation of novel air-cavity ships remain a challenging problem. Hull construction and sensor instrumentation of the model-scale air-cavity boat is described in the paper. The modular structure of the hull allows for easy modifications, and an electric propulsion unit enables self-propelled operation. The boat is controlled remotely via a radio transmission system. Results of initial tests are reported, including thrust, speed, and airflow rate in several loading conditions. The constructed platform can be used for optimizing air-cavity systems and testing other innovative hull designs. This system can be also developed into a high-performance unmanned boat. 展开更多

Test Research on Influence of Draft on Towing Behaviors of 3-Bucket Foundation Platform

To investigate the natural frequencies and towing behaviors of a 3-bucket foundation platform at different drafts, the decay and towing experiments were carried out in a towing tank on a scale of 1:20. The air pressure inside the bucket foundations, the water pressure at the bottom of the bucket foundations, the acceleration of the platform and the towing force were determined in the test process. The time-history curves of the measured parameters were obtained, and the frequency responses of the parameters at different drafts were analyzed by means of fast Fourier transform(FFT). The results showed that the platform natural frequency of heave decreased slightly with the rise of draft. The natural frequencies of roll and pitch are much lower than that of heave, and they increased slightly with the increase of draft. When towing in the following sea, the maximum acceleration of surge, sway and heave has downward trends with the increase of draft, but the change range decreased gradually with the increase of draft. When the draft is 5.0 m(the ratio of draft to bucket height is 0.56), the towing dynamic responses achieve the maximum, which is not conducive to the towing of the platform. When the draft is 6.0 m(the ratio of draft to bucket height is 0.67), the towing dynamic responses are the most stable. 展开更多

The pitch control characteristics are studied and analyzed. Because elastic linkage is a key part in whole asymmetrical pitch system, in order to obtain the variation of the elastic linkage deformation, an experimental platform mainly based on the device of micro aerial vehicles (MAVs) and a new control system mounted on TMS320LF2407 are designed. This control system has its compacted configuration and reliability. Finally, using this system to control the MAV for simulating the flying forward, experimental results show the MAV's flight attitude can he controlled based on the variation of the elastic linkage. 展开更多

An inevitable trend has already taken shape for the application of the 5th Generation Mobile Communication Technology(5G)in the railway sector.The application scenarios and business types of the railway sector are complex and diverse,so it is indispensable to test and verify the railway 5G before actual deployment.The design and creation of the railway 5G integrated innovation test platform provides engineering design,test and verification conditions for the networking,coverage and business development of 5G public networks and 5G-R in railway scenarios.This paper introduces the design of the overall architecture for the integrated railway 5G innovation test platform according to the railway network requirements,application scenarios and intelligent development trend;respectively elaborates on the design of the 5G-R core network,bearer network and wireless access along loop tracks,in combination with the characteristics of railway scenarios and the requirements of railway dispatching,operation and safety;raises further solutions on the network deployment and coverage schemes of 5G public networks so as to meet the application requirements of 5G public networks.The study results show that the integrated railway 5G innovation test platform scheme contains co-existence of 5G public and private networks,combines the indoor and outdoor scenarios,as well as takes into account of the dynamic and static tests so as to meet the environmental requirements for the integrated railway 5G test and application of all network functions,for which it can provide comprehensive technical support for railway 5G technology research and development,standard formulation,testing,etc. 展开更多

Semi-submersible platforms operating in deep seas encounter complex environmental conditions,making experimental studies on their global performance essential for new platform designs.Model tests were conducted to examine the 6-DOF motion characteristics of a conceptual semi-submersible platform equipped with a hollow moonpool(SPHM).The experimental results indicate that heave motions of the SPHM demonstrate suboptimal performance,potentially due to the natural heave period coinciding with the predominant wave energy range in the South China Sea.Furthermore,parametric rolling was observed during both regular and irregular wave tests and analyzed through Mathieu's equation.The analysis reveals that parametric rolling of the SPHM exhibits primarily low-frequency motion with substantial amplitudes,with its period matching the natural roll period.Notably,parametric rolling persists for only several natural roll periods of the platform,leading to considerable variance in roll motions. 展开更多

For strapdown stabilized platform used in automatic vertical drilling system,a new dynamic measurement algorithm based on three-axis accelerometer and three-axis fluxgate measurement signals is proposed and simulated under the condition of small inclination dynamic rotation.The error compensation algorithm is also proposed.The bench test of strapdown stabilized platform is designed and carried out.The results show that:When the azimuth angle is the same,the larger the inclination angle is,the greater the error of the measurement results will be.When the inclination angle is the same,the measurement error is the largest when the azimuth angle is 90°and 270°,and the measurement error curve presents a sinusoidal change with the change of azimuth angle.After the error function compensation,the error curve between the calculation results and the true value is basically not affected by the inclination angle and the azimuth angle,and the calculation accuracy is signifi cantly improved.Under the random rotating speed of 0-180 rpm,the minimum error of the measured well inclination value was no more than 0.03°and the maximum was no more than 1.58°.The feasibility of the proposed dynamic azimuth measurement algorithm is verifi ed.This article provides a technical reference for the strapdown automatic drilling system. 展开更多

Current sway test platforms for marine nuclear equipment face challenges in meeting the GJB 150.23A requirements.This is primarily because of the performance limitations of conventional actuators under extreme marine conditions.This study aimed to overcome these constraints using an innovative parallel mechanism design.We developed a novel 6-PUS parallel platform featuring six kinematic chains with hybrid series-parallel actuators.Each chain combines(1)force-speed adaptive transmission,(2)redundant motor-driven dual-screw actuation,and(3)passive load-balancing mechanisms.Comprehensive kinematic/dynamic modeling and experimental validation were conducted.Tests demonstrated the capability of the platform to achieve cyclic speeds of±45°/7 s and±30°/3 s while supporting 10-ton loads.Successful sway tests on nuclear components(reactor pressurizer and control rod drive mechanism)confirmed the operational reliability.This work presented three key innovations:(1)a new parallel-platform architecture that overcomes the limitations of conventional actuators;(2)integrated hybrid actuation with adaptive transmission;and(3)high-speed,heavy-load performance that meets stringent marine testing standards.This solution significantly advances nuclear equipment qualification testing technology. 展开更多

为进一步探明高速铁路全高站台门的气动荷载与结构响应特性,为站台门结构设计提供依据,依托某设计时速250 km高速铁路地下车站(四线双岛式),开展列车高速过站空气动力学效应现场试验,获得全高站台门的气动荷载和结构响应测试数据,分析... 为进一步探明高速铁路全高站台门的气动荷载与结构响应特性,为站台门结构设计提供依据,依托某设计时速250 km高速铁路地下车站(四线双岛式),开展列车高速过站空气动力学效应现场试验,获得全高站台门的气动荷载和结构响应测试数据,分析气动荷载特性及其产生机理,并讨论列车过站速度、站台门位置等因素对气动荷载和结构响应的影响。结果表明:(1)列车高速过站时全高站台门内外两侧均经历多次压力波动,且波动幅值差异大,气动荷载应为两侧压力差;(2)站台门最大气动荷载由列车经过测点时产生,隧道入口和出口压力波产生的气动荷载较小;(3)列车过站速度越快,站台门承受的气动荷载越大,以时速250 km过站时最大气动荷载约为1.1 kPa;(4)气动荷载将导致站台门玻璃产生弹性变形,变形量随时间的变化规律与气动荷载一致,以时速250 km过站时最大弹性变形量为7.07 mm;(5)气动荷载导致的站台门结构振动具有明显的低频脉冲特性,站台门立柱、玻璃振动主频约为40,15 Hz,玻璃的振动频率更低、振幅更大。 展开更多

根据CTCS-3级列控系统的特点,结合欧洲列车运行控制系统(ETCS)测试经验,研发基于通用测试平台AdmiTest的CTCS-3级列控系统自动测试平台CARSTool。CARSTool采用激励-反馈机制实现单系统或多系统的闭环测试,包含测试对象、仿真系统、链路... 根据CTCS-3级列控系统的特点,结合欧洲列车运行控制系统(ETCS)测试经验,研发基于通用测试平台AdmiTest的CTCS-3级列控系统自动测试平台CARSTool。CARSTool采用激励-反馈机制实现单系统或多系统的闭环测试,包含测试对象、仿真系统、链路、消息、激励、响应和测试序列等基本元素,具有线路工程数据配置、通信链路配置、站场线路配置、PI Object、仿真系统、列车运行仿真和自动测试序列7个功能模块。以郑西客运专线列控数据为例,采用CARSTool对CTCS-3级列控系统进行仿真测试。测试结果表明:通过规范化语法严格卡控测试步骤,根据CTCS-3级列控系统测试案例库以及激励-反馈信息判断测试项目的执行状态,CARSTool实现了测试计划、执行过程和测试结果的闭环处理;说明CARSTool能够实现CTCS-3级列控系统的自动测试。 展开更多

为实现涂层-薄壁结构在高温、冲击与振动复合环境下的动态性能测试,开展了热环境下减振抗冲击一体化测试平台的开发及应用研究。在详细阐述该测试平台各组成部分功能及测试方法的基础上,对带涂层与不带涂层的复合材料薄板试件,开展了不... 为实现涂层-薄壁结构在高温、冲击与振动复合环境下的动态性能测试,开展了热环境下减振抗冲击一体化测试平台的开发及应用研究。在详细阐述该测试平台各组成部分功能及测试方法的基础上,对带涂层与不带涂层的复合材料薄板试件,开展了不同温度、冲击载荷及基础振动载荷条件下的动力学性能测试,获得了试件的固有频率,以及共振响应、冲击接触力和位移的时程曲线。研究发现,相对于未涂覆的试件,涂层试件在100℃条件下的冲击接触力峰值提高了12.5%,冲击位移降低了37.1%,且共振响应幅值大幅下降。此外,还讨论了温度、冲击及振动载荷的变化对该结构抗热振与抗热冲击性能的复杂影响,从而为该涂层-薄壁结构的综合性能评价提供了有效的试验装置及测试新思路。 展开更多
