The umbilical,a key component in offshore energy extraction,plays a vital role in ensuring the stable operation of the entire production system.The extensive variety of cross-sectional components creates highly complex layout combinations.Furthermore,due to constraints in component quantity and geometry within the cross-sectional layout,filler bodies must be incorporated to maintain cross-section performance.Conventional design approaches based on manual experience suffer from inefficiency,high variability,and difficulties in quantification.This paper presents a multi-level automatic filling optimization design method for umbilical cross-sectional layouts to address these limitations.Initially,the research establishes a multi-objective optimization model that considers compactness,balance,and wear resistance of the cross-section,employing an enhanced genetic algorithm to achieve a near-optimal layout.Subsequently,the study implements an image processing-based vacancy detection technique to accurately identify cross-sectional gaps.To manage the variability and diversity of these vacant regions,the research introduces a multi-level filling method that strategically selects and places filler bodies of varying dimensions,overcoming the constraints of uniform-size fillers.Additionally,the method incorporates a hierarchical strategy that subdivides the complex cross-section into multiple layers,enabling layer-by-layer optimization and filling.This approach reduces manufac-turing equipment requirements while ensuring practical production process feasibility.The methodology is validated through a specific umbilical case study.The results demonstrate improvements in compactness,balance,and wear resistance compared with the initial cross-section,offering novel insights and valuable references for filler design in umbilical cross-sections. 展开更多

Existing linkage-optimization methods are designed for mechanical presses; few can be directly used for servo presses, so development of the servo press is limited. Based on the complementarity of linkage opti- mization and motion planning, a phase-division-based linkage-optimization model for a drawing servo press is established. Considering the motion-planning principles of a drawing servo press, and taking account of work rating and efficiency, the constraints of the optimization model are constructed. Linkage is optimized in two modes: use of either constant eccentric speed or constant slide speed in the work segments. The performances of optimized link- ages are compared with those of a mature linkage SL4- 2000A, which is optimized by a traditional method. The results show that the work rating of a drawing servo press equipped with linkages optimized by this new method improved and the root-mean-square torque of the servo motors is reduced by more than 10%. This research pro- vides a promising method for designing energy-saving drawing servo presses with high work ratings. 展开更多

Partitioning is a fundamental problem with applications to many areas including data mining, parellel processing and Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) design. An effective multi-level algorithm for bisecting graph is proposed. During its coarsening phase, an improved matching approach based on the global information of the graph core is developed with its guidance function. During the refinement phase, the vertex gain is exploited as ant's heuristic information and a positive feedback method based on pheromone trails is used to find the global approximate bipartitioning. It is implemented with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) C and compared to MeTiS. The experimental evaluation shows that it performs well and produces encouraging solutions on 18 different graphs benchmarks. 展开更多

A new multi-level analysis method of introducing the super-element modeling method, derived from the multi-level analysis method first proposed by O. F. Hughes, has been proposed in this paper to solve the problem of high time cost in adopting a rational-based optimal design method for ship structural design. Furthermore,the method was verified by its effective application in optimization of the mid-ship section of a container ship. A full 3-D FEM model of a ship,suffering static and quasi-static loads, was used as the analyzing object for evaluating the structural performance of the mid-ship module, including static strength and buckling performance. Research results reveal that this new method could substantially reduce the computational cost of the rational-based optimization problem without decreasing its accuracy, which increases the feasibility and economic efficiency of using a rational-based optimal design method in ship structural design. 展开更多

Weight reduction has attracted much attention among ship designers and ship owners.In the present work,based on an improved bi-directional evolutionary structural optimization(BESO) method and surrogate model method,we propose a hybrid optimization method for the structural design optimization of beam-plate structures,which covers three optimization levels:dimension optimization,topology optimization and section optimization.The objective of the proposed optimization method is to minimize the weight of design object under a group of constraints.The kernel optimization procedure(KOP) uses BESO to obtain the optimal topology from a ground structure.To deal with beam-plate structures,the traditional BESO method is improved by using cubic box as the unit cell instead of solid unit to construct periodic lattice structure.In the first optimization level,a series of ground structures are generated based on different dimensional parameter combinations,the KOP is performed to all the ground structures,the response surface model of optimal objective values and dimension parameters is created,and then the optimal dimension parameters can be obtained.In the second optimization level,the optimal topology is obtained by using the KOP according to the optimal dimension parameters.In the third optimization level,response surface method(RSM) is used to determine the section parameters.The proposed method is applied to a hatch cover structure design.The locations and shapes of all the structural members are determined from an oversized ground structure.The results show that the proposed method leads to a greater weight saving,compared with the original design and genetic algorithm(GA) based optimization results. 展开更多

By converting an optimal control problem for nonlinear systems to a Hamiltonian system,a symplecitc-preserving method is proposed.The state and costate variables are approximated by the Lagrange polynomial.The state variables at two ends of the time interval are taken as independent variables.Based on the dual variable principle,nonlinear optimal control problems are replaced with nonlinear equations.Furthermore,in the implementation of the symplectic algorithm,based on the 2N algorithm,a multilevel method is proposed.When the time grid is refined from low level to high level,the initial state and costate variables of the nonlinear equations can be obtained from the Lagrange interpolation at the low level grid to improve efficiency.Numerical simulations show the precision and the efficiency of the proposed algorithm in this paper. 展开更多

A new method of robust damper design is presented for elastic-plastic multi-degree-of-freedom(MDOF)building structures under multi-level ground motions(GMs).This method realizes a design that is effective for various levels of GMs.The robustness of a design is measured by an incremental dynamic analysis(IDA)curve and an ideal drift response curve(IDRC).The IDRC is a plot of the optimized maximum deformation under a constraint on the total damper quantity vs.the design level of the GMs.The total damper quantity corresponds to the total cost of the added dampers.First,a problem of generation of IDRCs is stated.Then,its solution algorithm,which consists of the sensitivity-based algorithm(SBA)and a local search method,is proposed.In the application of the SBA,the passive added dampers are removed sequentially under the specified-level GMs.On the other hand,the proposed local search method can search the optimal solutions for a constant total damper quantity under GMs’increased levels.In this way,combining these two algorithms enables the comprehensive search of the optimal solutions for various conditions of the status of the GMs and the total damper quantity.The influence of selecting the type of added dampers(oil,hysteretic,and so on)and the selection of the input GMs on the IDRCs are investigated.Finally,a robust optimal design problem is formulated,and a simple local search-based algorithm is proposed.A simple index using the IDRC and the IDA curve of the model is used as the objective function.It is demonstrated that the proposed algorithm works well in spite of its simplicity. 展开更多

Performance Analysis of a Six-bar Linkage Pumping Unit Based on a Small Fluctuations Load Shape

Thus, load characteristics of pumping units and motors are not able to "harmoniously" match each other; this resulted in a higher output of the motor, lower efficiency, and higher energy consumption of the pumping units. A new six-bar linkage pumping unit is presented according to moment-changing theory. It allows to adjust automatically following the changes of polished rod load, and achieves small crank shaft curve fluctuation. The new pumping unit improves motor efficiency, reduces motor output power, and saves energy. According to the design scheme, kinematics and kinetics models of the new six-bar linkages pumping unit are built up. An optimum design on the main peoCormance parameters and functional analysis were peoCormed. 展开更多

基于熵权层次分析法的往复式注肥泵动力端多目标优化

为了提高往复式注肥泵动力端的综合性能,以注肥泵动力端系统中的曲柄连杆机构为对象,探索往复泵动力端的优化设计方法。采用MatLab软件,对正偏置、对心两种曲柄连杆结构从运动与载荷两个方面进行对比分析。基于熵权层次分析法,从往复泵... 为了提高往复式注肥泵动力端的综合性能,以注肥泵动力端系统中的曲柄连杆机构为对象,探索往复泵动力端的优化设计方法。采用MatLab软件,对正偏置、对心两种曲柄连杆结构从运动与载荷两个方面进行对比分析。基于熵权层次分析法,从往复泵动力端的运动性能、载荷性能和尺寸3个层面选取了7个优化指标,以曲柄连杆机构偏置比为变量,优化往复泵动力端的综合性能。以偏置比k=0开始,按0.1步长设置11组正偏置比方案,以主、客观组合赋权的方式确定指标权重,对每组方案综合得分进行比较。结果表明:采用正偏置曲柄连杆机构作为往复泵动力端,能有效提升往复泵性能。与传统的对心曲柄连杆机构相比,偏置比k=0.5时,注肥泵的十字头所受最大正压力降低了39.16%,最大连杆力降低了3.12%,动力端尺寸减小了0.3%。研究结果为往复式和其他种类注肥泵动力端的优化和设计提供了一种新思路。 展开更多

在“双碳”战略背景下,城市轨道交通作为大运量、高频率的环保公共交通方式,其车站级能耗与碳排放问题备受关注。针对既有能源管理系统存在的碳排放监测盲区,提出“数据层复用、算法层增强、应用层迭代”的渐进式升级路径,构建碳核算与... 在“双碳”战略背景下,城市轨道交通作为大运量、高频率的环保公共交通方式,其车站级能耗与碳排放问题备受关注。针对既有能源管理系统存在的碳排放监测盲区,提出“数据层复用、算法层增强、应用层迭代”的渐进式升级路径,构建碳核算与能源管理协同优化系统。通过V型模型定义系统升级需求矩阵,搭建“物理层复用-信息层扩展”CPS融合框架,夯实系统架构基础;创新提出动态碳排放转换矩阵,集成电力间接排放、燃气直接排放和制冷剂隐形排放3类核算路径,实现碳排放的全面精准计量;设计“四层两轴”协同架构,引进基于改进多目标粒子群算法,形成高效协同优化策略。经仿真实验验证,该碳能协同优化机制具备显著成效。研究成果为城轨车站提供了一套可复制、可推广的碳能协同管理技术方案,对推动绿色城轨建设、助力“双碳”目标达成具有重要的实践意义。 展开更多

小型玉米收获机在丘陵山地作业时存在割台升降机构举升力不足、液压缸易干涉、结构笨重等问题。在分析典型工况下割台升降机构的运动学与动力学特性基础上,提出一种基于多连杆机构的割台升降系统优化设计方案。建立以液压缸最小驱动力... 小型玉米收获机在丘陵山地作业时存在割台升降机构举升力不足、液压缸易干涉、结构笨重等问题。在分析典型工况下割台升降机构的运动学与动力学特性基础上,提出一种基于多连杆机构的割台升降系统优化设计方案。建立以液压缸最小驱动力为目标、以杆长参数与铰点位置为设计变量的优化模型,采用遗传算法进行参数寻优。优化后,液压缸最大驱动力降低18.7%,机构整体质量减轻12.3%,升降过程中割台姿态角变化范围减小至±1.5°,有效改善了收获机在坡地作业时的通过性与割台仿形能力。样机试验验证了优化方案的有效性,为小型玉米收获机割台的轻量化与性能提升提供了参考。 展开更多

Backfill hydraulic support is the key equipment in achieving coal mining and solid backfilling simultaneously in solid backfill mining technology.Based on the summary and analysis of main types,basic structural properties and filed application of backfill hydraulic support,this work has firstly proposed the basic principle of backfill hydraulic support optimization design and provided the method of optimal design of key structural components,like four-bar linkage,rear canopy and tamping structure;the method is further elaborated as changing hinging position of upper bar to optimize four-bar linkage,by lengthening or shortening the rear canopy to optimize length ratio of canopy;and by changing length and hinging position of tamping structure as well as suspension height of backfill scrape conveyor to realize optimization of tamping structure.On this basis,the process of optimal design of backfill hydraulic support is built.The optimal design case of ZC5200/14.5/30 six columns-four bar linkage used in 7203 W workface of Zhaizhen Coal Mine shows that the backfill properties like horizontal roof gap,vertical horizontal gap,tamping angle and tamping head gap are improved obviously through optimizing four-bar linkage,canopy length and tamping structure according to the optimal design method proposed in this work. 展开更多

五轴联动数控加工中,倾斜曲面的切削方向规划直接影响加工精度与刀具路径质量,传统方法多依赖经验,自动化与最优性不足。为此,提出了一种基于法向偏差最小化与机床可达性约束的自动化切削方向优化方法。该方法以最小化法向偏差为优化目... 五轴联动数控加工中,倾斜曲面的切削方向规划直接影响加工精度与刀具路径质量,传统方法多依赖经验,自动化与最优性不足。为此,提出了一种基于法向偏差最小化与机床可达性约束的自动化切削方向优化方法。该方法以最小化法向偏差为优化目标,综合机床行程、转角限制等可达性约束及刀具姿态平稳变化,通过分析工件表面法向矢量分布,实现切削方向的自动最优求解。仿真实验结果显示,所提方法相较传统经验选取,刀具路径在平滑性、法向误差控制及姿态稳定性方面具有显著提升。研究证实该方法可有效提升复杂倾斜曲面五轴加工的自动化、高精度和高效性。 展开更多
