The naturally fermented Inner Mongolian cheese’s flavor and nutritional value make it a popular choice among customers.In this work,to create multi-functional peptides that have taste and biological activity,peptidom...The naturally fermented Inner Mongolian cheese’s flavor and nutritional value make it a popular choice among customers.In this work,to create multi-functional peptides that have taste and biological activity,peptidomics and bioinformatics were used to screen flavor peptides from Inner Mongolian cheese and further assess their antioxidant and angiotensin I-converting enzyme(ACE)inhibitory properties.According to sensory data,YH8 and IL7 had detectable bitter tastes with low thresholds of 0.03 and 0.06 mmol/L,respectively.With an umami threshold range of 0.24‒0.81 mmol/L,VQ6,FK13,HP13 and QT14 exhibited a range of flavors dominated by umami,including sweet,bitter,salty,sour and kokumi.Antioxidant activity wise,YH8,VQ6,HP13 and QT14 were well represented.The above-mentioned peptides all had some ACE inhibitory effect.The bitter peptide IL7(IC_(50)=0.08 mmol/L)had the highest level of ACE inhibitory activity,followed by YH8(IC_(50)=0.33 mmol/L).These multi-functional peptides,which have been assessed for bioactive and taste features in Inner Mongolian cheese,may have positive impacts on health and harmonize the cheese’s overall flavor.These results suggest that some flavor peptides produced in fermented foods might be with bioactivities while providing a basis for the exploration and application of multi-functional peptides.展开更多

In this work, we propo...Photonic spin Hall effect(PSHE), as a novel physical effect in light–matter interaction, provides an effective metrological method for characterizing the tiny variation in refractive index(RI). In this work, we propose a multi-functional PSHE sensor based on VO_(2), a material that can reveal the phase transition behavior. By applying thermal control, the mutual transformation into different phase states of VO_(2) can be realized, which contributes to the flexible switching between multiple RI sensing tasks. When VO_(2) is insulating, the ultrasensitive detection of glucose concentrations in human blood is achieved. When VO_(2) is in a mixed phase, the structure can be designed to distinguish between the normal cells and cancer cells through no-label and real-time monitoring. When VO_(2) is metallic, the proposed PSHE sensor can act as an RI indicator for gas analytes. Compared with other multi-functional sensing devices with the complex structures, our design consists of only one analyte and two VO_(2) layers, which is very simple and elegant. Therefore, the proposed VO_(2)-based PSHE sensor has outstanding advantages such as small size, high sensitivity, no-label, and real-time detection, providing a new approach for investigating tunable multi-functional sensors.展开更多

In Zambia, the Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) is a key tool for manag...Background: The availability of essential medicines and medical supplies is crucial for effectively delivering healthcare services. In Zambia, the Logistics Management Information System (LMIS) is a key tool for managing the supply chain of these commodities. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of LMIS in ensuring the availability of essential medicines and medical supplies in public hospitals in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. Materials and Methods: From February to April 2022, a cross-sectional study was conducted in 12 public hospitals across the Copperbelt Province. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, checklists, and stock control cards. The study assessed LMIS availability, training, and knowledge among pharmacy personnel, as well as data accuracy, product availability, and order fill rates. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data. Results: All surveyed hospitals had LMIS implemented and were using eLMIS as the primary LMIS. Only 47% and 48% of pharmacy personnel received training in eLMIS and Essential Medicines Logistics Improvement Program (EMLIP), respectively. Most personnel demonstrated good knowledge of LMIS, with 77.7% able to log in to eLMIS Facility Edition, 76.6% able to locate stock control cards in the system, and 78.7% able to perform transactions. However, data accuracy from physical and electronic records varied from 0% to 60%, and product availability ranged from 50% to 80%. Order fill rates from Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) were consistently below 30%. Discrepancies were observed between physical stock counts and eLMIS records. Conclusion: This study found that most hospitals in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia have implemented LMIS use. While LMIS implementation is high in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia, challenges such as low training levels, data inaccuracies, low product availability, and order fill rates persist. Addressing these issues requires a comprehensive approach, including capacity building, data quality improvement, supply chain coordination, and investment in infrastructure and human resources. Strengthening LMIS effectiveness is crucial for improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes in Zambia.展开更多

The recent Russian-Ukrainian crisis has had a substantial impact on the global natural gas supply landscape and brought major challenges to liquified natural gas(LNG)supply chain safety in many countries.However,acade...The recent Russian-Ukrainian crisis has had a substantial impact on the global natural gas supply landscape and brought major challenges to liquified natural gas(LNG)supply chain safety in many countries.However,academic research in this field remains scarce.This study aims to analyze the global LNG marine supply network changes during the recent Russian-Ukrainian crisis.Big data analytics are applied to the global vessel trajectory information recorded by automatic identification system(AIS).The weighted degree index indicates that global LNG marine supply is still primarily led by a few exporting countries,and the Middle East Port of Ras Laffan now occupies the central position.In 2022,the betweenness centrality and other indicators of the LNG shipping network showed a high middle and low end,indicating that the network has a certain degree of resilience.After the Russian-Ukrainian crisis happened,LNG exports from Qatar,the United States,and Russia increased.Resource flows have reshaped the competitive standing of countries.The European LNG market witnessed a significant intensification in the export competition between Russia and the United States.Despite the ongoing crisis,Russia's LNG export competitiveness remained resilient and displayed no indications of weakening.The results show new evidence for the changes in global natural resources marine supply influenced by the geopolitical events among countries.This has important implications for policymaking of LNG supply safety to the countries that rely heavily on imports.展开更多

To explore the impact of partial centralization on supply chain performance,this study constructs a two-period game model of a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and an online retail platform participat...To explore the impact of partial centralization on supply chain performance,this study constructs a two-period game model of a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and an online retail platform participating in the trade-in strategy.Through mathematical modeling and numerical simulation methods,the optimal decisions were analyzed under conditions where the manufacturer partially owns the retail platform’s partial equity.This study finds that partial centralization yields the highest profits,followed by full centralization,with decentralized decisions yielding the lowest profits.Moderate centralization enhances overall profits by optimizing incentive mechanisms,whereas excessive ownership concentration reduces the flexibility of the retail platform,leading to a decline in profits.Additionally,product durability and trade-in subsidy significantly influence supply chain profitability:high-durability products reduce renewal frequency,while trade-in subsidy effectively stimulates consumer demand and increase overall profits.This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for companies implementing the trade-in strategy.展开更多

Ventilation systems are critical for improving the cabin environment in high-speed trains,and their interest has increased significantly.However,whether air supply non-verticality deteriorates the cabin air environmen...Ventilation systems are critical for improving the cabin environment in high-speed trains,and their interest has increased significantly.However,whether air supply non-verticality deteriorates the cabin air environment,and the flow mechanism behind it and the degree of deterioration are not known.This study first analyzes the interaction between deflection angle and cabin flow field characteristics and ventilation performance.The results revealed that the interior temperature and pollutant concentration decreased slightly with increasing deflection angle,but resulted in significant deterioration of thermal comfort and air quality.This is evidenced by an increase in both draught rate and non-uniformity coefficient,an increase in the number of measurement points that do not satisfy the micro-wind speed and temperature difference requirements by about 5% and 15%,respectively,and an increase in longitudinal penetration of pollutants by a factor of about 5 and the appearance of locking regions at the ends of cabin.The results also show that changing the deflection pattern only affects the region of deterioration and does not essentially improve this deterioration.This study can provide reference and help for the ventilation design of high-speed trains.展开更多
The rapidly growing seaweed farming contributes to food,feed,biofuel,and biochemicals,with Indonesia being the largest exporter of raw seaweed(53.35%)but low in carrageenan derivative products(4.49%).Sustainable farmi...The rapidly growing seaweed farming contributes to food,feed,biofuel,and biochemicals,with Indonesia being the largest exporter of raw seaweed(53.35%)but low in carrageenan derivative products(4.49%).Sustainable farming supports SDG 13 and SDG 14 through emission reduction,marine ecosystem conservation,and increased biodiversity.However,its supply chain faces challenges in raw material availability,such as fluctuating harvests,inconsistent quality,limited logistics infrastructure,and market price volatility.Therefore,good environmental management is needed to optimize raw materials in carrageenan production through resource efficiency,environmentally friendly products,environmental regulations,and market and stakeholder awareness.This study identifies factors in the environment-based supply chain that influence the development of carrageenan production centers and analyzes their ecological impacts using quantitative SEM analysis.SEM analysis reveals that resource efficiency,waste management,environmental regulations,and stakeholder awareness and commitment are the main influencing factors.shows significant factors including raw material efficiency,waste management,and environmental regulations.Environmentally based supply chain integration for the development of carrageenan production center areas can be done by;focusing on sustainability and minimal environmental impact,support for achieving SDG 12,13,and 14,strategies for sustainable raw material management,circular economy,sustainability certification,renewable energy and environmentally friendly technology,and stakeholder collaboration and awareness.展开更多

Materials and Methods: From February to April 2022, a cross-sectional study was conducted in 12 public hospitals across the Copperbelt Province. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, checklists, and stock control cards. The study assessed LMIS availability, training, and knowledge among pharmacy personnel, as well as data accuracy, product availability, and order fill rates. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data. Results: All surveyed hospitals had LMIS implemented and were using eLMIS as the primary LMIS. Only 47% and 48% of pharmacy personnel received training in eLMIS and Essential Medicines Logistics Improvement Program (EMLIP), respectively. Most personnel demonstrated good knowledge of LMIS, with 77.7% able to log in to eLMIS Facility Edition, 76.6% able to locate stock control cards in the system, and 78.7% able to perform transactions. However, data accuracy from physical and electronic records varied from 0% to 60%, and product availability ranged from 50% to 80%. Order fill rates from Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) were consistently below 30%. Discrepancies were observed between physical stock counts and eLMIS records. Conclusion: This study found that most hospitals in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia have implemented LMIS use. While LMIS implementation is high in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia, challenges such as low training levels, data inaccuracies, low product availability, and order fill rates persist. Addressing these issues requires a comprehensive approach, including capacity building, data quality improvement, supply chain coordination, and investment in infrastructure and human resources. Strengthening LMIS effectiveness is crucial for improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes in Zambia.

文摘The recent Russian-Ukrainian crisis has had a substantial impact on the global natural gas supply landscape and brought major challenges to liquified natural gas(LNG)supply chain safety in many countries.However,academic research in this field remains scarce.This study aims to analyze the global LNG marine supply network changes during the recent Russian-Ukrainian crisis.Big data analytics are applied to the global vessel trajectory information recorded by automatic identification system(AIS).The weighted degree index indicates that global LNG marine supply is still primarily led by a few exporting countries,and the Middle East Port of Ras Laffan now occupies the central position.In 2022,the betweenness centrality and other indicators of the LNG shipping network showed a high middle and low end,indicating that the network has a certain degree of resilience.After the Russian-Ukrainian crisis happened,LNG exports from Qatar,the United States,and Russia increased.Resource flows have reshaped the competitive standing of countries.The European LNG market witnessed a significant intensification in the export competition between Russia and the United States.Despite the ongoing crisis,Russia's LNG export competitiveness remained resilient and displayed no indications of weakening.The results show new evidence for the changes in global natural resources marine supply influenced by the geopolitical events among countries.This has important implications for policymaking of LNG supply safety to the countries that rely heavily on imports.

文摘As global climate change problems become increasingly serious,the world urgently needs to take practical measures to deal with this environmental issue.In this sense,China’s carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals endowed an ingenious solution.Various industries in China have actively responded to this policy call,and various enterprises have started to carry out the work of carbon emission reduction,especially in water supply industry.In order to reduce carbon emission,we must first calculate carbon emissions and understand the level of carbon emission.At present,the carbon emissions accounting of water supply industry is mostly carried out on the partial work of some individual units within the enterprise,and there is no accounting case for the whole process of water supply work.This work innovatively proposes a method to calculate the carbon emissions generated in the whole water supply procedure.The carbon emission in the whole water supply procedure originates from the leakage of water supply network and the maintenance of water supply network,and all the carbon emissions involved in these two aspects are calculated.Moreover,the key points of carbon emission reduction are analyzed according to the accounting results,and a potential carbon emission reduction scheme is proposed.The research can provide a reference for the overall carbon emission accounting strategies and the construction of carbon emission reduction plans in the future.

文摘To explore the impact of partial centralization on supply chain performance,this study constructs a two-period game model of a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and an online retail platform participating in the trade-in strategy.Through mathematical modeling and numerical simulation methods,the optimal decisions were analyzed under conditions where the manufacturer partially owns the retail platform’s partial equity.This study finds that partial centralization yields the highest profits,followed by full centralization,with decentralized decisions yielding the lowest profits.Moderate centralization enhances overall profits by optimizing incentive mechanisms,whereas excessive ownership concentration reduces the flexibility of the retail platform,leading to a decline in profits.Additionally,product durability and trade-in subsidy significantly influence supply chain profitability:high-durability products reduce renewal frequency,while trade-in subsidy effectively stimulates consumer demand and increase overall profits.This study provides theoretical support and practical guidance for companies implementing the trade-in strategy.

文摘Under the trend of economic globalization,the importance of supply chains has gradually become prominent,especially with the transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial chains in recent years.Supply chain transformation has emerged as a significant focus of current academic research,and the construction of smart supply chains represents an inevitable development trend.This paper utilizes 1,051 research articles on smart supply chains published in core journals on China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from 2014 to 2024 as the data source.It analyzes the literature data using CiteSpace software,visually exploring and revealing the frontiers and hotspots of domestic research on smart supply chains.The data analysis reveals that academic research in this field is at a stage of steady and healthy development.Domestic research trends include the cooperative mechanisms of smart supply chains in manufacturing,the operational mechanisms of smart supply chains in agriculture,and systematic research on influencing factors of smart supply chains.

文摘This paper examines the impact of upstream merger and acquisition(M&A)activities driven by supply chain integration motives on firm energy performance.By developing a microlevel theoretical framework,we examine the intricate relationship between firms’upstream M&A strategies geared toward supply chain integration and their energy efficiency.We examine the impact of upstream M&A activities on energy performance using data from Chinese listed companies from 2007 to 2021.Our findings reveal that upstream M&A initiatives can enhance firms’energy efficiency,although there are discernible variations in the effects observed for M&A activities targeted downstream or within the same industry.By examining mechanisms,we elucidate the pivotal roles of input substitution effects and productivity enhancements through which upstream M&As boost energy performance.Furthermore,our analysis underscores the catalyzing impact of M&A activities in fostering collaborative innovation in green technologies among firms and suppliers,thus improving productivity and energy efficiency.We provide new microlevel evidence of the relationship between M&A transactions and corporate energy efficiency from upstream and downstream perspectives.
文摘The purpose of this paper is to present the preliminary literature findings of a research project.The main project is set out to identify,analyse and report on performance requirements,mechanisms and actions required to address the performance of construction related small and medium size enterprises(SMEs)that are providing services for state owned enterprises(SOEs)in South Africa.The need for the project arose from the view that the absence of performance evaluation mechanism leads to the poor management of the performance of organisations involved in most SOE supply chain.This inevitably led to none creation of expected value in the system.Through a related literature study,the findings that have emerged so far suggest that it is notable that the SMEs related programmes in SOEs have not address performance and relationship management within their supply chain strategy in explicit terms as there is less or no means to record,measure and enhance SME contributions.These SMEs also recognise the fact that when their performances are poor and/or good,there is no difference and/or feedback mechanism to record it.

文摘Ventilation systems are critical for improving the cabin environment in high-speed trains,and their interest has increased significantly.However,whether air supply non-verticality deteriorates the cabin air environment,and the flow mechanism behind it and the degree of deterioration are not known.This study first analyzes the interaction between deflection angle and cabin flow field characteristics and ventilation performance.The results revealed that the interior temperature and pollutant concentration decreased slightly with increasing deflection angle,but resulted in significant deterioration of thermal comfort and air quality.This is evidenced by an increase in both draught rate and non-uniformity coefficient,an increase in the number of measurement points that do not satisfy the micro-wind speed and temperature difference requirements by about 5% and 15%,respectively,and an increase in longitudinal penetration of pollutants by a factor of about 5 and the appearance of locking regions at the ends of cabin.The results also show that changing the deflection pattern only affects the region of deterioration and does not essentially improve this deterioration.This study can provide reference and help for the ventilation design of high-speed trains.
文摘The rapidly growing seaweed farming contributes to food,feed,biofuel,and biochemicals,with Indonesia being the largest exporter of raw seaweed(53.35%)but low in carrageenan derivative products(4.49%).Sustainable farming supports SDG 13 and SDG 14 through emission reduction,marine ecosystem conservation,and increased biodiversity.However,its supply chain faces challenges in raw material availability,such as fluctuating harvests,inconsistent quality,limited logistics infrastructure,and market price volatility.Therefore,good environmental management is needed to optimize raw materials in carrageenan production through resource efficiency,environmentally friendly products,environmental regulations,and market and stakeholder awareness.This study identifies factors in the environment-based supply chain that influence the development of carrageenan production centers and analyzes their ecological impacts using quantitative SEM analysis.SEM analysis reveals that resource efficiency,waste management,environmental regulations,and stakeholder awareness and commitment are the main influencing factors.shows significant factors including raw material efficiency,waste management,and environmental regulations.Environmentally based supply chain integration for the development of carrageenan production center areas can be done by;focusing on sustainability and minimal environmental impact,support for achieving SDG 12,13,and 14,strategies for sustainable raw material management,circular economy,sustainability certification,renewable energy and environmentally friendly technology,and stakeholder collaboration and awareness.
