In the present study, a method for the quantitative analysis of multi-components by single marker(QAMS) has been developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of echinacoside(ECH), tubuloside A, acteoside, isoacteoside, and2’-acetylacteoside in Cistanches Herba. ECH was used as the internal standard(IS) to obtain the relative correction factors(RCFs) of the other four phenylethanoid glycosides(PhGs);meanwhile, various influencing factors on RCFs were investigated under different conditions. The content of each component was calculated with RCF. The results were compared with those obtained by the external standard method(ESM) to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the established QAMS method. No significant difference was found in the quantitative results of 10 batches of Cistanches Herba between QAMS and ESM. The proposed QAMS method for simultaneous determination of PhGs in Cistanches Herba is accurate and feasible, providing an efficient and economical approach for the quality control of Cistanches Herba. 展开更多

Determination of Content of Four Substances in Compound Yizhihao Granules by Multi-Components by Single Marker (QAMS)

Objective: to establish multi-components by single marker (QAMS) and HPlC method for the determination of four substances (R, S) - Epigoitrin, Vitexicarpin, Indirubin and Artemisetin and to provide experimental basis for the quality standard of Compound Yizhihao Granules. Methods: the sample treatment method was improved, and HPLC external standard method was established for the determination of four substances in Compound Yizhihao Granules. The chromatographic column was Wondersil C18 (4.6mm×250mm, 5μm), the flow rate was 1.0mL/min, the check wavelength was 245nm, the column temperature was 30℃, the sample was 20 μL, the mobile phase was acetonitrile-water. The relative correction factors (RCF) of (R, S) - Epigoitrin, Vitexicarpin, Artemisetin were determined with Indirubin as internal reference. The RCF was used to calculate the content of the substance under test, and then the content of the substance under test was determined by the external standard method to verify the feasibility of the multi-components by single marker. Results: the treatment method of the test sample was as follows: solid-liquid ratio was 1:5. Ultrasound was 45 min, trichloromethane extraction, and steam dry concentration with methanol constant volume. The results showed that the good linear ranges of (R, S) - Epigoitrin, Vitexicarpin, Indirubin and Artemisetin were 5.15-103 μ g / mL, 5.005-100.1 μ g / mL, 0.5-10 μ g / mL and 0.5115-10.23 μ g / mL, respectively. The average recoveries were 95.19%, 95.73%, 90.75%, 91.65%. The relative correction factors (RCF) of (R, S) - Epigoitrin, Vitexicarpin, Artemisetin were determined with Indirubin as internal reference was 0.2%, 0.6% and 0.3%. And the relative error of multi-components by single marker and external standard method was less than 1%. Conclusion: the multi-components by single marker method (QAMS) is simple, stable and can be used for the determination of multiple substances in Compound Yizhihao Granules. 展开更多

A facile high-efficiency preparation strategy for Al-containing multi-component boride microcrystals with superior comprehensive performance

Multi-component transition group metal borides(MMB_(2))have become a research hotspot due to their new composition design concepts and superior properties compared with conventional ceramics.Most of the current methods,however,are complicated and time-consuming,the mass production remains a chal-lenge.Herein,we proposed a new high-efficiency strategy for synthesis of MMB_(2)using molten aluminum as the medium for the first time.The prepared Al-containing multi-component borides(TiZrHfNbTa)B_(2)microcrystals had a homogeneous composition with a hexagonal AlB_(2)structure and ultra-high hardness value of∼35.3 GPa,which was much higher than data reported in the literature and the rule of mix-ture estimations.Furthermore,combined with the First-principles calculation results,we found that the Poisson’s ratio(v)values exhibit a clearly ascending trend from 0.17 at VEC=3.5 to 0.18 at VEC=3.4,then to 0.201 at VEC=3.2 with the increasing of Al content.This indicates that the intrinsic toughness of multi-component boride microcrystals is obviously enhanced by the trace-doped Al elements.Besides,the fabricated Al-containing multi-component boride microcrystals have superior oxidation activation en-ergy and structural stability.The enhanced oxidation resistance is mainly attributed to the formation of a protective Al2 O3 oxide layer and the lattice distortion,both of which lead to sluggish diffusion of O_(2).These findings propose a new unexplored avenue for the fabrication of MMB_(2)materials with supe-rior comprehensive performance including ultra-hardness and intrinsically improved thermo-mechanical properties. 展开更多

A method utilizing single channel recordings to blindly separate the multicomponents overlapped in time and frequency domains is proposed in this paper. Based on the time varying AR model, the instantaneous frequency and amplitude of each signal component are estimated respectively, thus the signal component separation is achieved. By using prolate spheroidal sequence as basis functions to expand the time varying parameters of the AR model, the method turns the problem of linear time varying parameters estimation to a linear time invariant parameter estimation problem, then the parameters are estimated by a recursive algorithm. The computation of this method is simple, and no prior knowledge of the signals is needed. Simulation results demonstrate validity and excellent performance of this method. 展开更多

The spiral-wound heat exchanger(SWHE) is the primary low-temperature heat exchanger for large-scale LNG plants due to its high-pressure resistance, compact structure, and high heat exchange efficiency. This paper studied the shell-side heat and mass transfer characteristics of vapor-liquid two-phase mixed refrigerants in an SWHE by combining a multi-component model in FLUENT software with a customized multicomponent mass transfer model. Besides, the mathematical model under the sloshing condition was obtained through mathematical derivation, and the corresponding UDF code was loaded into FLUENT as the momentum source term. The results under the sloshing conditions were compared with the relevant parameters under the steady-state condition. The shell-side heat and mass transfer characteristics of the SWHE were investigated by adjusting the component ratio and other working conditions. It was found that the sloshing conditions enhance the heat transfer performance and sometimes have insignificant effects. The sloshing condition is beneficial to reduce the flow resistance. The comprehensive performance of multi-component refrigerants has been improved and the improvement is more significant under sloshing conditions, considering both the heat transfer and pressure drop.These results will provide theoretical support for the research and design of multi-component heat and mass transfer enhancement of LNG SWHE under ocean sloshing conditions. 展开更多

Wearable,flexible devices have garnered widespread attention in the realm of human motion and life activity detection.Currently,the development of simple,green,and easily scalable methods for fabricating strain sensors still presents significant challenges.In this study,we successfully modified the surface of reduced graphene oxide(rGO)with SnCuNiIn multi-component alloy nanoparticles(MCA NPs),with an average size of 13.29 nm,utilizing a green and facile microwave heating approach.Leveraging the SnCuNiIn MCA NPs/rGO powder,we formulated a conductive ink based on water and ethylene glycol,which,when screen-printed,yielded conductive patterns with a minimum resistivity of 4.366 mΩ·cm.Strain sensors produced using this ink demonstrate exceptional performance,demonstrating favorable resistance change rates during a single bending process that meets practical application requirements,and enduring 5000 bending cycles with a resistance change of less than 5%.These sensors exhibited a high gauge factor(GF_(max)=52.7)and outstanding cycling stability.Lastly,strain sensors are employed to monitor human normal life activities and motion states,showcasing significant potential for application in wearable electronic products. 展开更多

A multi-component system has the long fixed maintenance time, so the opportunistic maintenance policy is adopted to put preventive replacement and corrective replacement together, so that the long fixed maintenance time can be shared by more than one component, and the system availability can be improved. Then, the generation characteristics of the random failure time are researched based on the replacement maintenance and the minima[ maintenance. Furthermore, by choosing the opportunistic replacement ages of each component as opti- mized variables, a simulation algorithm based on an opportunistic maintenance policy is designed to maximize the total availability. Finally, the simulation result shows the validity of the algorithm by an example. 展开更多

Catalytic destruction is an ascendant technology for the abatement of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)originating fromsolvent-based industrial processes.The varied composition tends to influence each VOC’s catalytic behavior in the reaction mixture.We investigated the catalytic destruction of multi-component VOCs including dichloromethane(DCM)and ethyl acetate(EA),as representatives from pharmaceutical waste gases,over co-supported HxPO_(4)-RuOx/CeO_(2) catalyst.A mutual inhibitory effect relating to concentrations because of competitive adsorption was verified in the binary VOCs oxidation and EA posed a more negative effect on DCM oxidation owing to EA’s superior adsorption capacity.Preferential adsorption of EA on acidic sites(HxPO_(4)/CeO_(2))promoted DCM activation on basic sites(O^(2−))and the dominating EA oxidation blocked DCM’s access to oxidation centers(RuOx/CeO_(2)),resulting in boosted monochloromethane yield and increased chlorine deposition for DCM oxidation.The impaired redox ability of Ru species owing to chlorine deposition in turn jeopardized deep oxidation of EA and its by-products,leading to increased gaseous by-products such as acetic acid originating fromEA pyrolysis.Notably,DCM at low concentration slightly promoted EA conversion at low temperatures with or without water,consistent with the enhanced EA adsorption in co-adsorption analyses.This was mainly due to that DCM impeded the shielding effect of hydrolysate deposition from rapid EA hydrolysis depending on the decreased acidity.Moreover,water benefited EA hydrolysis but decreased CO_(2) selectivity while the generated water derived from EA was likely to affect DCM transformation.This work may provide theoretical guidance for the promotion of applied catalysts toward industrial applications. 展开更多

The two parameters are determined by fitting well-known virial coefficients of pure fluid.The extended cubic EOS can be directly extended to multi-component mixtures, merely demanding the EOS of mixtures also is cubic and combining two physical conditions for the radial distribution functions at contact(RDFC) of mixtures.The calculated virial coefficients of pure fluid and predicted compressibility factors and RDFC for both pure fluid and mixtures are excellent as compared with the simulation data. The values of RDFC for mixtures with extremely large size ratio 10 are far better than the BGHLL expressions in literature. 展开更多

Co-precipitation strengthening of the L1_(2)nano-particles along with hard intermetallic phases,including L2_(1),B2,σandη,demonstrates significant potential for the development of advanced CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloys(HEAs)with favorable strength-ductility balances.Understanding the alloying effect of Al and Ti on the formation and stability of these intermetallic phases in the CoCrFeNi HEAs is crucial for efficiently exploring the multi-component space for future alloy designs.In the present work,stepwise compositionally graded CoCrFeNi-AlTi HEAs comprising 35 different compositions were fabricated using high-throughput additive manufacturing(AM)and analyzed through a suite of localized characterization techniques.Our analysis confirmed the existence of two primary solid solution phases,face-centered cubic(FCC)and body-centered cubic(BCC),as well as four distinct intermetallic phases,which include L1_(2),L2_(1),σandη.By overlapping the zero phase fraction(ZPF)lines of these phases,the pseudo-ternary phase diagram of the multi-component CoCrFeNi-AlTi system at 800℃was determined,demonstrating good agreement with the literature results.Furthermore,the composition-dependent microstructural evolution and Vickers hardness(HV)were also established,providing numerous opportunities to design CoCrFeNi-AlTi HEAs with superior microstructure stability and balanced strength-ductility properties for structural applications at elevated temperatures. 展开更多

To address the escalating demand for high-mobility transparent and conductive oxide(TCO)films in heterojunction solar cells,multiple components doped In_(2)O_(3) targets were proposed.The In_(2)O_(3) targets incorporating 1 wt.%CeO_(2),Ta_(2)O_(5),and TiO_(2) were sintered under different sintering temperatures and times.All the targets show the cubic bixbyite phase of In_(2)O_(3).The microstructure illustrates densely packed fine grains and uniform elemental distribution.Notably,increasing the sintering temperature and holding time contributes to effective pore elimination within the targets.A relative density of greater than 99.5%is obtained for the targets sintered at 1500℃ for 4 and 6 h,and the corresponding optimum resistivity decreases from 1.068×10^(-3)to 9.73×10^(-4)Ω·cm.These results provide the experimental basis of fabricating In_(2)O_(3)-based targets for depositing high mobility TCO films by magnetron sputtering. 展开更多

Hot corrosion in molten salt is a complex process,involving both chemical corrosion and electrochemical corrosion.Interfacial reactions and oxide dissolution can also impact the corrosion results.Compared with single component/type salt,multicomponent/type hot corrosion leads to more severe degradation,while the multi-component alloys offer potential chances for developing anti-corrosion metallic materials.In this study,we aim to elucidate the hot corrosion behavior and gain a better understanding of the corrosion mechanism of the multi-component alloys under multi-component/type NaCl-KCl-Na_(2)SO_(4)salt.The corrosion behavior of dual-phaseNi_(36)Fe_(34)Al_(17)Cr_(10)Mo_(1)Ti_(2)(HEA-1)and Ni_(34)Co_(25)Fe_(12)Al_(15)Cr_(12)W_(2)(HEA-2)alloys was studied within NaCl-KCl-Na_(2)SO_(4)molten salt with mass ratios of 5:5:1 and 5:5:2.After exposure to the salt at 650°C for 168 h,it was found that the Ni_(34)Co_(25)Fe_(12)Al_(15)Cr_(12)W_(2)exhibited better corrosion resistance thanNi_(36)Fe_(34)Al_(17)Cr_(10)Mo_(1)Ti_(2).The improved performance of Ni_(30)Co_(25)Fe_(12)Al_(15)Cr_(12)W_(2)alloy was attributed to the Co element,which facilitated the formation of dense oxides scale and enhanced scale adhesion.Alkali chlorides with stronger penetration ability dominated the corrosion process and alkali sulfate further aggravated the corrosion.The primary corrosion mechanisms involved in this process were identified as“electrochemical mechanism”attacking the body-centered cubic structure in the alloys and“active oxidation”causing dissolution of the alloy elements. 展开更多

The P- and SV-wavefields in a seismic record can be separated by their horizontal and vertical displacements when upgoing P- and SV-waves arrive at the sea floor. If the sea floor P wave velocity, S wave velocity, and density are known, the separation can be achieved in ther-p domain. The separated wavefields are then transformed to the time domain. A method of separating P- and SV-wavefields is presented in this paper and used to effectively separate P- and SV-wavefields in synthetic and real data. The application to real data shows that this method is feasible and effective. It also can be used for free surface data. 展开更多

Finally, an expanding loop algebra ~FM of the loop algebra ~X is presented. Based on the ~FM, the multi-component integrable coupling system of the multi-component Dirac equation hierarchy is investigated. The influence of melt superheating treatment on the solid/liquid (S/L) interface morphology of directionally solidified Ni-based superalloy DZ125 is investigated to elucidate the relationship between melt characteristic and S/L interface stability. The results indicate that the interface morphology is not only related to the withdrawal velocity (R) but also to the melt superheating temperature (Ts) when the thermal gradient of solidification interface remains constant for different Ts with appropriate superheating treatment regulation. The interface morphology changes from cell to plane at R of 1.1 μm/s when Ts increases from 1500°C to 1650°C, and maintains plane with further elevated Ts of 1750°C. However, the interface morphology changes from coarse dendrite to cell and then to cellular dendrite at R of 2.25 μm/s when Ts increases from 1500°C to 1650°C and then to 1750°C. It is proved that the solidification onset temperature and the solidification interval undergo the nonlinear variation when Ts increases from 1500°C to 1680°C, and the turning point is 1650°C at which the solidification onset temperature and the solidification interval are all minimum. This indicates that the melt superheating treatment enhances the solidification interface stability and has important effect on the solidification characteristics. 展开更多
